I went in to service my car for its 10k mile service. My service advisor was Phat Lam. He was great from the start as he called my name from the waiting area. He quickly checked me in, asked me if I had any questions and got to work. Service here at Lexus of Fremont tends to take longer than usual, referring to my experience when I got my 5k mile service. However, my 10k mile service was much more efficient as I did not wait as long. Overall, it was a great experience and I would request for Phat to be my service advisor the next time I go in!
Ive had a great experience at Lexus of Fremont! Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. I already had done tons of research and was just waiting for the right car to pop up, so it helped keep the process smooth throughout the test drive, financing conversations, etc. I think the sales agents would have been respectful even if I was just looking around and wasnt sure what I wanted. They tried to upsell me on a few things but werent pushy about it. Overall Ive had a very positive experience!

Buying a car during COVID and the chip shortage is definitely a challenge and annoying. But Kathleen and everyone at Lexus of Fremont did such a great job making this a comfortable and streamlined experience. I reached out to every Lexus dealership in the Bay Area and none of them were as proactive and considerate towards doing business with a client as Kathleen. From getting the vehicle to arrive on time to customizing the vehicle, Kathleen and her coworkers made sure I was 110% satisfied.
Great customer service Freddy was the salesman that was helping me with the purchase of my car and helped streamline the transaction before I arrived at the dealership that the paperwork only took about 45 minutes to finalize the purchase making the experience very pleasant with no stress. I highly recommend this dealership the customer service you’ll receive and the time you’ll save not having to be at the dealership all day to purchase your next car is in itself a Gem! And Salesman Freddy never put any unnecessary pressure to finalize the deal. Definitely ask for him ! I’m confident that all the salesman at this dealership will treat you with this same professionalism as Freddy.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy a Lexus and I made several trips to the dealership. I had many questions and David Mehtabuddin answered them to my full satisfaction. Monty Singh was also very helpful. I finally decided on Lexus 450h and it took almost two months for the car to arrive but it was worth the wait. I am thankful to David for giving me a good experience in buying the car. I would recommend Lexus of Fremont without hesitation.
Had 9 am appointment and arrived on time. Still had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. Then 20 more minutes for loaner. Left over an hour later. I think 30 minutes in and out is reasonable. Service advisor was great. Explained everything and handled questions. Updates were texted in timely manner. Paid online. Pick up was quick but noticed they rotated my tires incorrectly on staggered vehicle tires. I pointed it out and advisor quickly fixed issue. Was disappointed that the techs would make such a mistake. Have come here for years so hope these areas improve.
Justin provided great customer service, responding to any of my questions in a timely matter. In regards to the repair done to my vehicle, the bumper that was damaged now looks brand new! Overall, I am satisfied with my experience at Fremont Lexus, and will not hesitate to return in the future.

Before settling down with the car I purchased, I did my research in multiple dealerships to find the best car with the best deal. Fremont Lexus by far is the best in inventory! Austin, Amir and the Manager of Finance were great to work with and made the process so easy for me. I love my car and I’m grateful for their business.
WOW! No words can explained what I have experienced at this dealer. From horrible customer service to childish behaviors. Today I went to purchase a vehicle as I was already approved from my lender. First of all the salesmanDavid had zero motivation and didnt want to do his job which is sales. I explained my situation and that current salesmen went to go get his manager which is fine. The manager right of the bat started giving me attitude. The manager needed further understanding of the situation so I called my lender and the manager literally started arguing with him. My lender was telling him that Im approve the money is ready and the manager started saying we dont do that here, you need to do it this way etc etc.The manager had the audacity to tell the loan officer this a 70 million dealership basically stating that he doesnt work with small fishes. The manager literally got up left me unattended and left the loan officer speaking to himself. What manager does that? What manager leaves a client? Leaves abruptly in a phone conversation? The sale was there , I was ready no need to check for credit or nothing everything was In place!!! After the manager walked away I decided that place is not a dealer I will ever buy from, visit , or even recommend. Im still in shocked and amazed on how such a high reputable dealer treated a buying customer.
Nick Munoz was thorough and kind as he explained what they planned to do with my car during the service. Tony Moyrong made process fast and smooth. I saw my dream ride in transit and he helped me put a deposit down to hold it. It came in and the sale process was pretty painless. There was a minor misunderstanding regarding the initial deal but we worked it out. Alex in finance was also great. I had a concern regarding a warranty purchase and he worked it out with me with no pressure, and even took my call on his day off.
“A+“ for customer service and cleanliness.“B” for price. Service prices are always a rip-off, but the price here compared to other Lexus Dealers is SLIGHTLY better.“ F” for the waiting. I want to drop my car off, get my loaner and get on with my day. I always have to waste an hour between waiting for a service advisor and loaner car…why???? I don’t care to meet with the advisor for routine service . Why do I have to meet with the advisor before they start getting my loaner ready?For the pick-up, I paid online and THEY texted me that my car was pulled up front and ready. Yet I had to see the cashier to sign my paid invoice and my car actually wasn’t pulled up! Another 30 minutes.Decrease the wait time, lower the rates a bit more and I’ll give you 5 stars.Too much wasted time.
The sales guy was great and he took care of us. Once we agreed to the price on a used car, the accountant guy added several hundred dollars of administration charges. And then we were stuck waiting for over an hour for them to turn the car over to us. But they did give us a loaner car while they complete the repairs to the used car. Some goods and some bads.
The customer service is second to none. Mr Vener Padilla, my Service Advisor was so helpful. I told him I won’t be able to take my Lexus, and my GF will take it for scheduled maintenance. He helped her and communication was great. He gave her a loaner and had our Lexus cleaned too. Kudos!!
The communication between Evelyn from the E-commerce Team, and Amir our Sales Associate made this experience great. They responded quick and made sure that the SUV was there before we arrived. The ease of financing and transaction made it simple. Amir showed very personable attitude that helped us make the right decision in purchasing. He’s very transparent and answered all our questions. I recommend him 100% and for future purchases.
Great customer service!!! I went in for car maintenance and Phat was really professional and answered all of our questions and was able to assist with our concerns. Service was done faster than I had anticipated and Phat texted me when my car was ready for pickup. Overall really satisfied with the service I got from the Service Department!
Sales person David is very helpful and staff very friendly. But financial specialist is very unfriendly. He doesn’t want to talk even hand shake. After we done our paperwork he just done and bye. That completely unwelcome and unprofessional business like Lexus Dealership not like a junkyard sales. I gave 4 start because of that person.
I’ve bought many cars in my life but so far this has been the least stressful experience I’ve had so far! Fredy my sales guy spent several hours in the hot sun,( he ended up red like a tomato) but never lost interest in showing me a great experience, educating me on the different trims and features on each different models I test drove. Once we walked In the office I had Several requests (to my surprise were met without hesitation ) I’m a reasonable person when it comes to asking for credits or discounts however in past experiences buying cars I’ve always had to fight hard to get what I’ve asked for ! At Lexus of Fremont they sure made it so easy to accommodate my requests! So thankful for that ! Now off to enjoy my new LS 500 gorgeous car !
I made an appointment this morning at 9:00, and I waited for 3 hours. I didnt see the car coming back to the lobby, and no one notified me. I only gave me the key when I emailed the invoice and I went to ask it (actually The service was done early, and the car was parked elsewhere), which made me feel that the wait should be the same, because my time is also very precious! Hope you understand!
Took my car in for some small fixes. The service advisor was professional and thats all I have to say about that. However, I requested multiple times and he assured me that my vehicle would not be washed. Upon pickup I had to wait 30 minutes or so before they located my key and brought me my car. I also noticed that they had washed it, what the hell. So I was standing there until the point where I believe the service director noticed, I believe his name is Monty, and helped search for my keys. I was told my key was in the office of an advisor that wasnt even in for the day? Why was it not at the pickup location or at least a lock box. So had to wait for close to 30 minutes for something that shouldve taken no longer than 3 minutes AND they couldnt even honor my request of not washing my car.Staff isnt exactly professional either, at least for the service port handlers.
Doan Diep helped me with the purchase of my Lexus. He is very kind , patient and professional. He made sure we were happy with our purchase. The sales manager Gabe Hernandez also made sure we got an excellent interest rate. This dealership went above and beyond my expectations. Just picked up my used Rc350 F sport. I am in love with the car!!! My experience at Fremont Lexus has been splendid. I couldnt ask for a better experience. My salesman Eric Wong wasnt pushy and I appreciate that. He made the deal fast and gave me good deal. Danny dang finance was great as well.
It was a bad but good experience at this location. I brought my 2014 gs350 f for a recall that my fuel pump needed to be replaced. So I dropped it off on a Thursday afternoon , which was informed that it won’t be ready till the next day. So I waited and wait no calls no text. I called the dealership and no one wasn’t able to get a hold of my csa. Monday comes by and I got a hold of Scott. Good dude. Answer all my questions and gave me a loaner car. Today I went in to pickup my car. And they took care of me. Which was great. At the end of the day there was miscommunication but they accommodated me, no need for a big fuss. Good ppl works there. Thanks again
Did my service for 30k miles today in Fremont Lexus. The advisor Vaneer first told it it’s gonna costs $1200+, I searched online and found the price is clearly off. Then I asked him why it’s so expensive and then he offered me the basic care option of $650. We asked for a loaner car, and waited for more than an hour. It’s past lunch time and I got hungry and asked him to check on when we can get the loaner car. We then waited another 10 minute or so until we got the loaner car. In the evening I called to schedule for a pick up, couldn’t reach Vaneer, so I asked the service team to help me find him or someone else to help, every time they just said they cannot reach him either or just put me through to the same voicemail that I been hearing again and again. Only until around 40 minutes later I got a call back from Vaneer, and it’s already 4:30pm, he said I have to get there asap because they are closing. By the end, I paid around $1000 for the service plus replacement of battery because I didn’t drive very much during pandemic and the battery according to the advisor is only 25% of full capacity. Overall I don’t feel the advisor is very trustable, and their efficiency on getting loaner car is very bad too. Don’t recommend!!
Lexus Of Fremont Service Center. This shop is improving if not improved. The last experience that I had with them didnt go well. But they are doing their best to satisfy their customers. I went back to schedule a service with them today. I bought my 3rd Lexus, a 2008 IS350 with 155K miles from a used car shop and I thought, given its age, it was having issues with the transmission/drivetrain. James Luong helped me out and listened very well with my cars experience. He immediately suggested a test drive with one of their mechanic and found out that the experience Im having is a normal behavior of the car. We went thru all the real-time diagnostics on the car and he said all the things that Im experiencing are normal. He even went EXTRA MILES and showed me his 2020 IS350 and went thru the same exact testing/diagnostics to prove that the behavior is normal. Im really impressed.Overall, my experience with them today is very satisfying. I certainly hope this mechanic trains all his co-workers because he is very professional and a true mechanic in nature.Thank you so much! I have deleted my bad review because this shop changed a lot compare from my last visit.
Although my service advisor was very helpful, Lexus was UNABLE to fix my problem. In fact the Check Engine light came on AFTER they got done with the service. I was charged $850 for them trying to fix the issue but I got my car back in a worse condition. I am still working with them to try and resolve it or get my money back
This is the second time additional services were being pushed on me during the consultation. We decided to give this dealership another chance from a previous negative situation. I didnt even get a copy of the performed services until it was complete today. We are not coming back to this particular location unfortunately. We did our best to give them a chance. The service has declined since the last time we left. A previous trusted representative I booked to work with has left as well. I hope they can get their act together.
They run credit report a lot !!!I carefully asked them I do not want several hit in my credit report and counter guy told me there wont be hard inquiry all will be just one hit !!!! They run my credit report several times and now I must wait 2 years to get rid of them. Do not be so irresponsible to people. Find your finance from your bank and go there if you like a car, their finance service is lying.
Pick up service was really good..for dropped off my car the person who was helping me with my car Christina had really rude behavior and while she was helping me she took other customer and I waited for her 20 mins , and I went to check with her she rudely said I need finish this customer and coming back to u.. however the pick up service people whoever helped me was really nice.. thank u.
Driving to Monterey and saw that one of my tires indicated low pressure. I tried to pump it at a gas station but there was also a valve issue. I was close to Fremont Lexus so a drive there fir an emergency ‘fix’. They could not have been more helpful. Oscar and Monty the manager had the tire checked out…. found a leak….did the repair and I was in my way 1 1/2 hours later. They knew my hind and were 100% responsive and super reasonable charge… given my interruption if their schedule. An A grade service group.
Bought a car from Lexus of Fremont a few years ago with a service package and warranty. They assured me that using my service package at other Lexus dealerships would be easy. Literally every time Ive brought my car in to them or other Lexus dealerships has been an absolute nightmare. They can never find my package and I have to call Lexus of Fremont to get the information. A Lexus employee was the original owner and that is the only package that ever seems to come up. Lexus of Fremont takes forever to call back so I spend hours trying to get this dealt with every single time I go for a simple service. I would never recommend buying from this dealership. Worst experience I could possibly imagine, over and over again.
Vener took care of my needs and answered all the questions I had about my vehicle. He definitely knows his stuff and made me feel at ease with leaving my vehicle at the dealership. I recommend having Vener as your service consultant and your vehicle will be taken cared of!
I been coming here for 3 years now and this past visit customer service lacked a lot from Yvonne. She had so much attitude like she knew more about my car than me. I specifically wrote what I needed done with my car and she still had the audacity to question me. I requested for the horn fuse to be replaced because I know what was exactly wrong. She still put an estimated cost of $249 and said we will check and let you know. Once she calls me she doesn’t even confirm that I was right and just says it was a fuse replacement like we spoke about which was very comical. Lastly, she said we will provide a complimentary wash and that was not done either. I usually go to Justin but this is the second time they didn’t wash my car at this location so back to Stevens creek it is.
1st time at this dealership. I contated them through their website and noone called me. I called them and it took 25 minutes to get an operator and they hung up on me. I was finally able to get the appointment ant I almost didnt go as the appointment process was not smooth and the operator was rude.The service center isnt as busy as the one in San Jose so they take care of the customers better and the repairs are done faster.
Called in to ask about a car and spoke to Fredy, he was very informative. Went in a few days later to view the car, I was helped right away and he guided me through the process. Left with my first brand new car and could not be happier with my experience. Thanks again Fredy and the Lexus of Fremont team.
Friends had talked the Lexus brand up so much that I stepped out of my practical comfort zone and dove into the deep end…very disappointing. Service after purchase has been highly disappointing. Recently went in to drop my car off because of a grinding noise I was hearing. Made the appointment and got there a little early. It took an hour to process and get a loaner. No it wasn’t busy, my time was not a priority for this service dept. when I notice other guest coming in and leaving who came after me it was a real let down.
I waited almost 4 hours for an oil and filter change.I had a 10:00am appointment and was checked in by Vener. I notified Vener that I was going to be around the area waiting, and he told me to expect an email and two text messages with the second one telling me when my car would be ready. I received no text messages, but received and invoice via email. After a little over two hours, I went to his office to ask about my car; it was just parked on the side. He was out on lunch, so I approached another gentleman to check the status of my car. He also was under the impression that it was done. He checked to confirm and advised that no notes from the technician were put in. He said he would notify Vener and would have him check on the situation. By then, it was almost 1p. I didn’t get a text message or notification of any sort until 1:48p. By then, I was over the entire situation. Still, I held my composure thinking there may be a reason behind the long wait. Anxious, I stepped into his office. He advised that besides recommending replacing the tires and a possible realignment, everything looked good. No explanation about the long wait. I don’t think he was even aware. I have never experienced this from the other times I’ve visited. This is completely unacceptable.

I keep going back to Lexus for so many different reasons. One of them is Yvone Atalig’s five star customer service!!!!! She is super knowledgeable about Lexus’s products and services and if she her self do not know the solution, she knows someone who knows and she will personally connect you. She is very helpful and friendly — i can’t even tell how much we appreciate her time to meet with us even with short notice.Thank you so much Yvone and team for all your hard work and dedication and for all that you do!P.S Last but not least, shout out to Monte Munoz, Sr.Service Manager whose always been on top of taking care of Lexus customer, he never disappoint to all his promises. Ive been coming here for service since 2002 when I bought my first Lexus from a dealer in Concord and was referred here for their service. I didnt mind paying a bit more to get the good service from the dealer, instead of going to a third party. I later even bought another Lexus from this Fremont dealer. Over the years things have gotten worse and worse. The wait to see the advisor keeps getting longer and longer. The service time keeps getting ridiculously longer and longer. Yester was the last straw. Not only I had to wait a good 15 mins or more after the appointment time, and I got there 10 mins early, so the total of wait was already close to 30 mins just to see the advisor. When I was told that the service would take an hour longer than what was already ridiculously long service time, I decided to walk away. After 20 years of going there, I said to myself enough is enough. Why do I need to pay more for worse service??? I just left and will not be going back.
Fredy of Lexus of Fremont was excellent. I spoken to many Lexuss in Fremont and a lot of people were trying to put me into cars I didnt really want but appreciated the options but wasnt what I desired. Honestly even one shred of doubt will ruin a car buying experience and I felt uncomfortable settling for less at other Lexus bay area. I didnt mind at all driving to the south bay from San Francisco for this.I felt Fredy remembered the things I wanted and brought up car to my attention before anyone else could see it, and I like that as a first time buyer. I think he was more excited than me about the car and definitely hyped me up, and thats good passion I needed that.Though the branch leader promised wed talk about throwing in all-weather floor matts since I couldnt qualify for the educational credit (unaware of the details). I hope they will take care of me(those floor matts ;) ) when I return because I plan to. Thanks guys, love my new car it has been a journey to get to this stage in life, glad I got to share my first time buying experience with Lexus of Fremont!

The Loaner vehicle I was given to cover the time in service was imaculate ! I had 30K service plus tires changes today. Since my tires have worn out . With annual tires sales , the price for my tires are compatible with Costco and O tires. My SVC Justin was very professional, patient in explain the details of my question. Please keep up the good Service since Fremont SVC has been known for the exceptional Service performance.
In my 77 years I have bought many cars both new and pre-owned. I am currently driving my third lexus. I currently drive 2 hours and pass other lexus dealership to make my purchase at lexus of Freemont because they employ a staff that will always go the extra mile to insure you are not only happy with your new car but also happy with the people who put your deal together. They will always follow up to insure you are a happy customer.
I have been coming to Lexus of Fremont since I move to the Bay Area in 2015. I continue to get great service and my car continues to run smoothly for being 11 years old. I also for being the dealer, I get honest assessments on my car and they don’t push extra services on me. I recommend this dealership for service.
İt is unfortunate to give that review, İ hope management addresses the issues and it gets better in near future.İ brought my vehicle here for some noise issue after unsuccessful attempts to get it diagnosed in many other dealerships.What was good:TL;DR: some people are nice there and they might at least look at your problem.1. Yvonne was nice and communicated clearly.2. People in the parts department are nice.3.. They at least tried to somehow diagnose the issue in the vehicle.What needs improvement:TL;DR: Very chaotic management out there, waiting times are long and they forget things a lot. They might forget to put parts back or forget to update you on important milestones. People seam a bit careless and not compassionate.0. When İ visited first time İ had an appointment, but when İ arrived no service manager actually walked up to me and İ ended up waiting like for half an hour or 40 mins (it was a pretty long wait). The worst thing is that they sent me back by saying that no technician was available that day. Please remove online appointment booking option if you are not able to confirm that service will be provided that day ( there were neither able to confirm the existence of the appointment). Finally İ came the next day and was assigned to Yvonne.1. İ ended up waiting for my vehicle for about a week, because they forgot to give me an update. From my observation from the Lexus app the maintenance was finished way earlier before that time ( like for several days the car was just parked). İf İ didnt call the service manager İ would probably wait for longer.2. They did shallow work, did not really investigate the issue properly, and İ still have the noise. i.e issue was not resolved. One of the summary statements was like it was hard hear anything properly because of the normal leather to plastic rubbing noise. This is very disappointing because the solution to that additional noises would be just regulating the recline position of the back seat a little bit.3. Not only they didnt fix the issue , but also lost a part in the door handle, while closing it back. When İ was finally picking up the vehicle, they forgot to put a cover on internal door handle which they opened. When İ complained they mentioned that İ could buy one? What?Good thing is they were finally able to order a new one for me which İ am waiting now to arrive...However initially they kind of did not care about it and just asked me to call the manager who was out that day. İ also waited for that advice for a significant time ( like 20 mins at least )4. They do not take any responsibility for damages during car wash. That does not make any sense to me. Also it didnt feel like my car was washed properly.5. Everyone out there was so busy, and it is hard to get any attention.İ cannot speak for the dealership in general, but the service department needs serious improvements regarding the organization of the work process and their attitude to clients.

Well, my car got a good report, and I was happy about that. Also, the service department seemed to be more attentive to details, since my last services done. Not only did they wash my car this time ( previously I had to request it) but they even vacuumed inside, which I very much appreciate) Also, the last time I had to request my paperwork, which i know must have just been an oversight, whereas, this time, the Representative sat me down and explained what would take place today - you know, the little things that make a really BIG difference.
According to my dad’s experiences in this place:The service attitude is very horrible bad, ignoring me, leaving me halfway, did not serve me at all, sarcastic me, and look down on me.(I am posting for my dad)This morning, I asked my son to make an appointment this afternoon to see the car I saw online in Putnam Lexus. However, due to the unstable working hours, I made sever appointments. It was 2 o clock when I drove there I was wearing my work clothes. After I arrived, service staff not only ignored me, did not give help, and did not give any service. Only give me the key to let me try and giving me attitude.If it isnt because I like the car a lot, I will left on the spot.Today, I was going to check the car, sign the contract, and buy the car. However, the waiter looked down on me and didnt help me because he thought I couldnt afford the car. He was very impatient and left his spost for many times. Throughout mylife I have bought a lot of cars, I have 4-5 cars at home, and this was the worst exerpeinces for me to encounter. They trying to trick me, give me 5.00% or 6.99% APR, I know I want 2.0%APR. So I asked for it and he said to me, if I help you get 1.99% APR, are you sure you can buy it? and you can buy it today?. Very dismissive attitude. I got angry and reply, Yes, only if you can get me 1.99% APR, and Ill buy it today.After hours of communicting, and signing the contract. The service is much better, changed their attitude, smiled and asked me if I wanted water, as if nothing had happened before.At the end, I wish Putnam Lexus can train people better, so next time I go there, I can get a better services.
This was hands down the best car shopping experience Ive ever had. Currently, I was in the market for a Lexus IS350 Fsport and after researching and shopping around, which is hard because these cars rarely come on the market, I ended up at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. This dealership is amazing! It enjoys some of the most delightful people out there as well as a great selection of cars. I worked with Shane S. and he was very respectful, straightforward and honest. He took very good care of my mom and me and showed us service that you rarely see in auto dealerships, and I’ve seen it all. From the communication prior to me coming in to the communication after purchasing the car I couldn’t be more pleased. Quick responses, detailed explanations, personal experiences with a similar vehicle, and just great customer service made my experience very stress free. I walked in to browse cars and test drive them. We were connected with Fred Omar, he helped us pick out a RX350, we went for a test drive and couple of hours later, left with a brand new car. Fred was absolutely amazing, he didnt rush us into buying at all. We compared many cars/features before making the decision. He was very patient and helpful. I highly recommend Fred. I even went back the next day to learn more about the features and functionality. He assigned someone to give us a walk through and in the end made sure we felt comfortable with the car. Christina was excellent in being my service consultant. She explained everything and I never felt rushed for this 10,000 mile service. I had a problem with the GPS again and this time I believe they fixed the problem with a software update and not just a reset. I was able get a loaner to do my errands while being there. The car was washed very well and they even topped off my gas. It was worth my time coming down from Millbrae. Another happy customer!

The experience there was fabulous. We came all the way from Fresno to purchase a car there and they made us felt like we were family. The whole staff was polite and very friendly. Fredy was the one whod help us and made everything fast and easy for us. Would definitely recommend this place again one day.
I had an appointment at 7 AM and was assisted by James. He was very quick, and informed me that it would only take 2 hours for my maintenance. I informed him I had to work by 9, so would need a loaner in the meantime if that was the case but he ended up finishing by 8:15 AM! Just in time! Thanks again James, for your efficient work.
I had to bring my car in for a major service (150K miles) and James Luong as usual made the whole experience quick and easy! The service took longer than a usual oil change but I was given a loaner and I was notified as soon it’s ready. James did not try to up-sell me anything… just what I really needed! I will not bring my car in unless he’s the one helping me!
I bring my car to the dealership for service knowing full well they charge way too much. My car is older and I paid it off many years ago. I reason that I can pay more for repairs since I don’t have a car payment each month. That being said, it still bothers me how poorly I’ve been treated during the many years I’ve patronized the service dept at Lexus of Fremont, formerly Magnussen’s Lexus. When I’ve brought my car in and needed a loaner, I’ve waited 20-30 minutes for the loaner to be brought up. On occasion, I’ve had to go find my service advisor and ask him/her why it’s taking so long. I’m trying to drop my car off early in the morning and get to work but they don’t consider that. Listen, you don’t need to wash the loaner before you issue it to me. Why can’t you wash/detail the loaner vehicles the day before or earlier? Customers like myself simply want to get to work and don’t want to be inconvenienced by a long wait.The service advisors can always seem to “find” a problem. So if you bring your car in for a simple oil change you might receive a notification that something is wrong and you’ll need to spend around $2K to get fixed. Lexus knows their customer demographic is more affluent than Honda, Toyota, or Kia owners and take full advantage of that.After spending $1825.00 to get my car repaired, I immediately see “Low Tire” notification on the dash as I start my car. Because I’ve gotten there right at 6 PM which is closing time, I have no recourse to have them put air in the tires. The person who drove my car up definitely saw the same notification and didn’t bother to correct it. $1825.00 is what I paid after they took 20% off the actual total and yet I have to make another stop for air to make sure the car is safe to drive. I’ve spent that much money and you can’t ensure it’s good to go before I arrive?
This is an very terrible experience in Fremont Lexus Maintenance! Had a car maintenance at 1:30pm. I came there 15min earlier to finish all check in paperwork with the technician. He told us it wont take long and should be ready in about 1.5hr. Therefore, I decided to wait here. After waiting for 2.5hours (4pm already), I was wondering why it takes so long. Cannot find the assigned technician and no one cares. The technician left already without send the passdown to other stuff clearly. I can see my car is already ready there. All the stuff chat with each other without doing anything. At around 4:30pm, finally find someone to help, a lady helped to push the work to finish the final car washing. Then it seems its gets worse again, dont know why car washing takes another 1hr... Almost nobody is on-site now, I have to search around to find a stuff to take care my car(5:3pm already). Overall, it is a terrible experience! I cannot feel they paid attention to the customer. If it is a busy day, I dont mind to wait longer, but it is not.

My car recently started to show the check system error with the tire highlighted. I just changed all sensors with another vendor and that vendor couldnt figure out how to fix this issue, they recommended to bring the car to Lexus. Lexus team helped and fixed the issue. The account manager was very nice and helpful to me. The space was clean and spacious.
I have visited this place a couple of times to buy a car.This review is particularly on the salesperson named Firooz.1. We were interested in a particular model, and when we called over the phone on a weekday, initially he mentioned its not there, and when I said I am interested to look once it comes, he immediately said, I just checked and it has arrived. When we went all the way down. I could clearly see him acting up when he went back, and came back saying that the system was showing it wrong, and it is still in transit and will not be able to see it. When we sat down to look at the other models, I could clearly see in the system that it was under Transport, and when I asked him he confirmed it. How badly do you wanna act out and waste customers time? This is the most blatant lie and acting up I have seen.2. His knowledge about cars is not even basic and he is clueless. All he asks is to do research on our own, see some youtube videos of the car. He has no clue of what is the meaning of the features written on the factory sticker and different packages. In fact he misguided us several times. If you dont know, just get another salesperson.. Please dont waste customers time and it is hard for me to decide on the trim I wanna choose.3. He never wears masks. Even after repeated requests, he wears it and then lets it fall all the way down. We were very uncomfortable all the time. Even during the test drive, he had his masks pulled down when he sat down with us in the car.4. He gave false info that all trims come with leather seats, whereas only Luxury trim comes with perforated leather but the basic one with leatherette. Because of which we couldnt make an informed decision.5. The worst of all is here: When I asked him for the factory sticker, He handed it over from the dustbin where he had thrown it a while back, and was soiled with water. How bad can you get at customer service? Please grow up. I would never want to visit this showroom with this salesperson.The list goes on and on. But I have wasted enough of my time by writing this review. Unless some action is taken for better customer experience, all my feedback and my time is wasted. Good luck with this kind of salesperson. I would give 0 stars for this salesperson. This is the worst customer experience I have had in my life.However I had a good interaction with another salesperson while I was walking away.I would come back only if I get a better salesperson to interact with.
This is the first time I have enjoyed the car shopping experience! I was able to research the inventory online and speak to a salesperson via text messages… always getting a prompt response. One on-site we were greeted by the most friendly and professional sales staff. The purchase went super smooth and we were done in no time. Couldn’t recommend Lexus of Fremont more!
I bought my 2020 Mercedes car from here July 2021. And bought the extended warranty. I had it serviced at the Mercedes dealership a month later for a check engine light and they advised me to cancel my extended warranty since it was with a third party. I went back to Lexus and was helped by Danny Dang. He gave me the paper to sign and said my bank will be getting a check within 2-3 weeks. At the end of November it still had not posted to my account so I called my bank and they never received a check. So for 1.5 months I’ve called Lexus with no return call. I’ve talked with several employees that just transfer me to someone else which I have to leave a message again. An email was send to the manager and I have still yet to him from them. I will never buy another vehicle from here!!! It’s very bad business
UPD: My issue has been resolved to my best satisfaction. Monte has been phenomenally helpful and customer oriented. He came to my place and did diagnostic drive with me after his hours. Then he purchased a replacement part and picked my car at my house leaving me with curtesy car. Next day he drove my Lexus back and picked up the loaner. Now the problem is gone and the cruise control is completely functional. This experience was very positive and super convenient. Thank you Monte!>I came to LoF with a problem with Radar Cruise Control which was malfunctioning and at times displaying an error message and shutting off. Later that day Yvonne gave me a call and said they can’t duplicate the problem and do not see any errors in computer memory. She asked my permission for extended test which would involve driving my car to someone’s home and back with test equipment attached. I okayed that and she promised to give me a call next day. Nothing happened on the next day and following weekend. On Monday I called them to check what was going on. Yvonne called me back in a few hours saying again that the car did not act up. She asked to take car back and if the problem repeats RECORD A VIDEO (!). I was shocked since filming that on highway at high speed with malfunctioning cruise control is dangerous and illegal. I told her that I have a picture of the error message. She asked to text it to her and told me they will try again. After 4 more days of radio silence I texted Yvonne and asked about my car. She said they did second extensive test and could not reproduce the issue. And asked to pick up my car and come again if the problem reappears. I did, paid $225 for diagnostic. The mileage was 60 miles up, while the invoice indicated only one mile difference and a comment on the invoice was they drove over 7 miles. Once I got to highway it took 1 min for cruise control to start misbehaving and about 2 min to display the message again. And I recorded that video while it was really unpleasant experience. In next 15 miles the message got displayed 5-6 times and cruise control was barely working. I’m not sure what was done to my car that is called diagnostic and takes a week and 60 miles to find nothing. 5 min on highway do the job. I’m very frustrated.
I enjoyed the entire experience from the time I was greeted in my auto mobile, the friendly smile and the willing to find out what my needs were. Shortly afterward I was introduce to the assigned Service Consultant Yvonne Atalig. She brought me into her nice office were we chat about mutual persons, that we knew there in Fremont, Ca. The laughter felt so wonderful because I have not had laughter for a while since we had the pandemic. She was helpful she explain very well and, she allowed me to ask questions. And she actual listen to, what my needs were. She received my keys invited me to go inside to sit in the Lexus plush lobby area; where they have a nice coffee varieties to chose from. Afterwards she came back inside after the work was done on my vehicle and, explain how the work was performed. I was very pleased on everything. Go Lexus of Fremont! You are the best. I have been going to Magnussen Lexus for many years. I had my previous Lexus for 21 years and it was only serviced at Magnussen. I purchased a 2020 from another dealer because Fremont could not match their price. I have had the 2020 vehicle serviced at both dealerships, although Fremont is closer to my home. The quality of service at Magnussen during recent service visits seems to be lacking and I am not sure if this is another effect of the pandemic or lack of customer service skills but I really do miss the quality service.
Took longest time ever for the maintenance. I understand I didn’t have appointment because I’ve been calling to make one for 2 days straight and no one picked up the phone and I had to do walk-in. Even after the service was done the next day, still had to wait another 35 mins to get my car after clearing all documents with cashier. I asked for help to one of the workers and he just didn’t want to help and just told me to talk to cashier and shook his head (btw there was no one sitting at cashier counter) and I had to wait for one to show up a while to check for the status. I understand they were busy with holiday season but this is not the customer service I expect from Lexus. I had another walk-in maintenance with Toyota at the same time, but they finished within two hours with quality care and everyone’s willing to help or give direction.
Took my vehicle in for an oil change. They did no offer me a ride or a loaner car. I waited approximately 3 hours from the time the car was dropped to the time I picked it up. They washed the car but did not dry it. Approximately 10-15 minutes i drove off to my next destination I noticed the rear ended bumber had some scratches and scuffed marks. I told the service agent and he said he will talk to his manager about the damages. The next day he tells me I should come by so I can talk to the manager. I am very disappointed with the whole delay and lack of care. Never had a negative experience with Lexus and other lexus dealers over the last 12 years that I have been a lexus owner. I will not take my car for service at this dealership in fremont.
Been with them for close to 10 years. Continue to enjoy their great service. The last one for instance— I missed my scheduled appointment as my car had a dead battery. Rob accommodated me on a busy day and set me up with a loaner. My car was serviced and I was ready the next day! They helped turned a not so good day into a great day. Highly recommend the team at Magnussen Lexus.
My sales rep was Austin and he’s amazing! I rated a 4 star due to previous encounters with previously sales rep that I wasn’t pleased with. I highly recommend going to Austin if you are looking to purchase a car. He is very genuine, understanding, and accommodating. He’s not like some of the sales rep who are so pushy or snotty. I only wished that I met him the first time around, 3rd times a charm I guess!
Got a call from Lexus said they need to schedule a service for my car for a safety recall.Came to Lexus on the scheduled date, dropped my car and left, got a message later said the safety recall is not possible since the part is not ready.Well, shouldn’t you get the part ready before you called customers to make this appointment?Staffs are friendly and helpful tho.Update on 12-07-21:The service process has been greatly improved, with much shorter waiting time and much smoother drop/pick up experience.Update on 12-28-21:So I was stuck in Tahoe alone in the last two days due to the record-breaking snow storm which dropped 16 feet of snow in the area.My AWD NX 300 was my best friend for the last two days. It has no issues cruises along that terrible weather, being extremely reliable in the snow and brings me home safely.Definitely recommend this car (Not encouraging anyone to drive under the snow storm!)
The Fremont location is amazing, good options, great staff. I’m considering the new 500 limited edition model although do not want to pay +$20k for the limited model first. Might have to wait till mid 2022 or consider an alternative model. Will just keep my 350 sport model until I find the next car of my dreams

I purchased a front right brake caliper for a Lexus IS F from Lexus of Freemont via their partner LexusPartsNow.com a.k.a. Auto Parts Prime a.k.a AUTOBEST International Corporation.When I received my package I found that the part that I received is not the part that I ordered. I ordered part #47730-0W030, which is a front RIGHT brake caliper, however I received #47750-0W030 which is a front LEFT brake caliper.Looking at the box, I can clearly see the issue is due to someone at Lexus/Toyota mislabeling the box. On the box is a correct label 47750-0W030, however, newer labels have been placed over top incorrectly labeling the part as 47730-0W030.You would think this would be a simple case of returning the item; however, after two weeks of emails and expensive phone calls late at night (Im in Australia), Ive been informed that Lexus of Fremont accept no responsibility for shipping the incorrect part and I cannot return it. It cost me $140 USD in shipping. You would think some level of procedural quality assurance would be included in that cost? Obviously not.I now have a $630 USD paperweight that is a low wear item, for a rare car that might take me years to sell privately. I also still need to source a front right caliper while my car sits on axle stands. Thanks guys!
Very accommodating. I am from New Orleans visiting family in San Jose. Needed to have oil change before heading back to keep from going over1000 miles over. They were able to get me in and take care of my needs. They were also very generous because it took a lot longer than expected. I recommend this dealer very highly

I drive 2 1/2 to Lexus of Fremont (where I found and bought my pristine, 10k mi, perfect color, 2016 350rx 2+ yrs ago) BECAUSE They are the BEST.Let me give to you an example:I have been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with my local dealership, Lexus of Fresno. (My friends warned me not to buy a Lexus if you live in Fresno but I did) From the first service, there were problems with them accepting my extended warrenty that I bought at the Lexus at the time of purchase. Then at approx. 20k mi. I brought it by the dealership & the adviser dismissed my request to at least scan the car for codes because We dont do that unless a warning light comes on the dash then FLAT refused to honor my extended maintance warrenty. At least the operators and cashiers were helpful and pleasent.Frustrated and thinking I was lied to about my warrenty, I called and went back to Fremont. The adviser at that time Listen to the concerns I had about the car, DID NOT hesitate to ask the technician to scan it during my service and guess what? A code popped. They fixed the issue. They honored the warranty without any question, were exceedingly accommodating, found me found me a rental car so I could go to lunch and run an errand & were in contact with me with updates.I drove away HAPPY AND SMILING with a car that ran beautifully and improved the gas mileage by 5 miles per gallon after the code repair & services were completed.I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership and Im Is very grateful for their quality conscientious and respectful customer service. Once again they are the BEST❤
The service advisor was very dismissive of my request and very confrontational. One of the reasons we bought the car from this very dealership was because we have been told they are very good at Service. Our experience showed anything but good.Didnt help with the loaner car and didnt even bother to check the paper work and verify that one of the additional packages we bought at the time will cover the vehicles problem. They simply said we do not have the paper work so you dont have that coverage. They made me drive back home, find the paper work which showed we indeed had bought the additional service coverage and only then they said: we will follow up with phone. They didnt follow up and I had to call 5 times over the course of two weeks to get my question answered. Overall, very disappointing experience and no reason for us to go back to this dealership.

The only reason I took one star away is because of the amount of time you have to wait when you drop off your car. Then again when you go pick it up, but other than that the experience was great got a loaner to use while my car was serviced that was beautiful. If they can work on streamlining the process and getting people In and out of there there will be five stars
After experiencing a negative issue with my last visit, the general manager, Bill, reached out and asked how he could make things better. He went above and beyond in fixing the issue and ensuring I was satisfied.Although my car is on the older side, Bill treated me as if I just purchased a brand new one. My customer service rep was fantastic I show up here from the best man in the world we make small talk yesterday about the car he doesn’t details question to me how it’s handling how I feel and that the safety the tires he asked a lot of questions to make sure I’m comfortable happy and safe in my car midway through the maintenance he comes out and give me an update he told me what they’re doing and what needs to be the next time and he gives me an anticipated time when the car should be ready and the car is ready ahead of time he’s fantastic the best I’ve ever had their

Only complaint was the long wait to get the purchase started with the finance. Once it was our turn it went by quick. Overall a great buying experience. Would recommend
I have been going to Lexus in Fremont for 18 years. This visit has as been unusually difficult. Usually I receive first class service but not this time. To start off the person I made my appointment with did not actually make the appointment. When I showed up at the time I had requested there was no appointment. They were very polite as usual but I ended up waiting 45 minutes before I was helped by a service rep. When we were done I was told the car wouldnt be ready for pick-up for 3 or 4 days. No problem and got a loaner car. One day later I received a text message that my car was ready but it was after hours so I had to wait til morning to make sure all the work had been done because it was so fast. I had to call 3 times, the first time my rep was off for a few days, call 2 the back up rep was not in and I was connected with another rep and had to leave a message. 2 hours later with no call back I called and was finally connected with someone who actually looked up my service and reported what had been done. Finally! My experience is usually 5 stars but unfortunately, not this time. I will still keep going here for service because they do take good care of my car and I trust they will continue to do so.
I am very pleased with the great customer service provided by Vener Padilla when taking my cars in for service and for the past 7 years. He is professional, courteous, and know what customer want and need that always make me a happy and satisfied customer every time I brought my car over there for either scheduled maintenance or repair.Another outstanding service by Vener Padilla on 02/16/2022. He went above and beyond to help customer not only on the car scheduled service but also business needs. Another 5 Star Service from returned customer.
Brought my car in for a calibration and was supposed to be washed and I picked it up dirtier than I dropped it and I was told that the vehicle was washed but it rained on it, clearly it was not washed, next time please just be honest and say it Was not washed. honestly goes a long way
The visit a week ago was the last straw and I would never go back there again. I had been taking my both Lexus to Fremont for as long as I had them (12 years). Each time I always felt those service advisors were tying very hard to sell me expensive service that are not recommended by the car service manual. The latest service advisor (more like a sales advisor to me) I encountered told me the tires of my car need to be replaced and he said Lexus will offer price match if I found the tires somewhere cheaper. Later I did find Americas Tire offered better prices but he argued Lexus offers tire alignment ($100value) the other didnt. I went ahead and was given a loaner car. I was a bit perplexed why did I need a loaner car just for the basic service and tire replacement. I left the car in the morning and I didnt get the call from the Lexus service advisor till 6pm that day after I tried to call him several times inquiring the status of my car. He told me a technician has been assigned to my car for the next day to work on the car and didnt explain to me if they did anything at all on the first day. Then on the second day I received no phone call at all from them. The third day I got a call from another service advisor telling me in the process of tire alignment they found dent on my suspension so they could only perform as best as they could for the job and suggested to replace the suspension and other parts needed to be fixed ($$$). A simple tire change evolved into more repairs needed. I just told her no, no, and no for any repairs she suggested. To conclude, there should be a red flag when they give you a loaner car for a basic service and tire changes. The end of the story.
Amazing customer service! Dewey was an excellent sales representative. He was very willing to negotiate, but not in a pushy manner. All sales and finance staff who we spoke to were very helpful as well. Overall a great experience. I am very pleased with my purchase and feel like I got an awesome deal on my Lexus. I would 100% recommend buying at this dealership.
I am very grateful for the extraordinary service Lexus provided me recently. Months ago there was a recall of certain passenger side airbags. I brought in my SC430 for the exchange. No problem. Then a few weeks ago, I was notified that Lexus wanted to inspect the vehicle to ensure that the brackets had been installed properly. Although Lexus would provide a rental vehicle in the interim at no cost, I was hesitant to take in the car because of distancing issues due to the pandemic. I also wanted more detail on the service that was necessary. I need not have worried. Carmen had the service manager call me to fully explain the proposed work. She then arranged for my car to be picked up at my home by Ron. She returned the car personally and safely after service. It turns out that the brackets had been installed properly and, above and beyond the call of duty, the car had been washed and filled with gas. Very nice!
Monty, the service manager, is amazing. Always courteous and amazing to work with. Phat Lam was my service consultant and he was excellent in his customer service and timeliness. I will always go to this dealership to service my Lexus for I trust them. They are honest, have good customer service and professional. And they have kept my Lexus running smoothly for years.
Very nice dealership. Great inventory. Came in today to get some idea on a car. Greeted by Fred Omar. He is very professional, honest, friendly, and no hazzle. We were not expected to buy a car, but Fred worked with us and came back with a reasonable deal. He showed as the comparison with MSRP and Costco member prices. Then he show us his best price. The process was fast and painless. Thank you Fred for the great experience.

Excellent staff, extremely knowledgeable and personable. Very fair negotiations and value customer loyalty, which is a huge deal to me. Thank Lexus of Fremont for the work they did on my Vehicle. After the repair, I showed Monte a Scuff mark that was quite large near the passenger side door. He said: “ I can make that disappear.” He got a bucket and A rag, and went to work. Ten minutes later, I was shocking happy. The mark was gone completely. I wasn’t charge one red cent. I visited Lexus of Fremont to get my air conditioning serviced due to a service program indicating there was a malfunction. Vener was understanding of the unique scenario and was able to get my vehicle serviced although it seemed the service program was expiring. Excellent communication from Vener being able to get the approval to fix the car and great work! Thank you so much Vener!
Upon my arrival, a service personnel courteously welcomed me, and stated theres a waiting room inside with coffee, or bottled water and TV set. Mr. Justin Plaude, my service provider, expeditiously managed the maintenance on my vehicle, and clearly explain to me the work performed. I received excellent service on my vehicle, and great customer service.

2022-05-21Had an excellent experience at Lexus of Fremont dealership. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Mia took really good care of me and helped me get a great deal with my trade in and purchase of a new car. They were very reasonable with the negotiating. The whole process from walking in to driving out with the new car was a bit long but was smooth and pleasant. The staff gave me some of their delicious cookies that they were sharing with each other and showed me their family of stray cats and kittens that they take care of. They feed and take care of them as well as try to catch and spay/neuter and place in rescue facility or shelters. I thought this was very kind and responsible of them. They matched a similar deal that another Lexus dealership closer to me offered and actually gave me a better package overall, so I chose to purchase from Fremont Lexus. They just seemed more sincere and made me feel more comfortable with the car buying process. Very happy with my experience and purchase. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

Especially in this year, finding a new car has been difficult but the staff have all been a great help. Kathleen in particular has been incredible in keeping us updated with what’s new and letting us know whenever there was a car available. She kept in mind our preferences and was able to find our perfect car! She also helped us secure and expedite the purchasing process and the whole transaction went smoothly. In addition the tech group has also been great in keeping in contact with us to help us set up our car and went over all the new technological updates. In addition they have also followed up with me for any concerns and are very welcoming to any concerns we might have. 2022-01-04A 2 hour car service became almost 4 hours. No notifications. I was waiting at the lounge, the service adviser did not come to find or notify me, knowing that i was waiting and that i opted not to get a loaner car.And then found one of my boxes moved on top of the back cover which stretched and scratched the top cover. Did not expect this poor service.

Their representatives and staffs work great and are very professional. Phat Lam is a good advisor for us. Their facility is clean and gives us a very comfortable time while waiting at. 2022-06-04This Lexus staff are really great! They really helped me find the car I wanted which was difficult during this pandemic and car shortage. They found me a brand new IS350 and gave me a pretty good deal. Omar was really great and made me feel comfortable to buy a new car again after recently getting into an accident with a drink driver. Lexus makes safe reliable cars and their staff made me feel that way too.

2022-01-13I brought my car in for my 10k check up. The service was great. I don’t know if I happen to catch them on a busy day, but my basic 10k service took over 2 hours. I appreciate the thorough service, but was surprised that it took that long. I would really have appreciated a loaner car knowing that it could actually go over the 2 hours because 2 hours of waiting is long for a busy mother of 3. I definitely could have used my time more appropriately.

2022-05-24Mister Padilla was very helpful, great customer service skills. Please take this as an opportunity to improve, we bought 4 cars through the years. I notice the building have decreased the attention to detail and cleanliness. Also the car just gets water in the car wash but before we notice it wash very professionally. I think the employees will be a lot more happy to work for your dealership.
