I liked it a lot!! GET THERE EARLY. Those seats fill up quick. But everyone was really nice, we were all individually interviewed and you could rent a costume if you dont have one. Even though we didnt get picked it was fun to watch!! And they let you stay to watch the other shows.
This show is classic, radiant, fun, energetic, and full of laughs. If you have a chance to be in the audience...go for it! You never know what can happen. Plus, everyone who works there is so cool. Top notch people. Wayne Brady down to earth and just talented. If in the LA area- get tickets and go! If youre up for a good time and dress up day!! F-U-N!!!
We watch the show all the time and this exceeded all of my expectations! One of the most fun days my Dad and I have had in many years. I think I was most impressed with the staff there. Everyone is sooo nice, upbeat, and well organized! They do a wonderful job of keeping people excited and ready for the show. I already have tickets to another taping with my honey.
In general it’s good but if you really have nothing else to do on that day.Their 9am show actually starts around 12 and from 8-12 is basically checking people in!It’s a fun experience and the staff are friendly. You’ll have fun at the show, just don’t plan on getting out of the 9am show and getting back to your car, earlier than 2pm!
OMG, so much fun! As long as you go with the mindset that you are there to have a good time, youll have a good time. There is a lot of waiting before the taping so going with friends is recommended. Also dont get offended if you are not selected. There are 160+ people who are all enthusiastic and only a dozen or less are selected. Its a great experience!
Plan your day around this because it takes a while. We had to be there at 9... ...so did 148 other people. Each person gets a quick interview and pictures taken, then waits. Next a short bus ride to the studio... to wait again. Be enthusiastic if you want to be picked to play, which is done at the interview. We finished at 2. There was an offer to stay for the next show. We chose not to make it a full day event. It was fun though. Go if you can.
Such a fun life experience to be an audience member at CBS’s daytime game show “Let’s Make a Deal” with Wayne Brady. All of the producers were really nice and I especially liked meeting “The Costume Guy” named Keith. Nice facilities and very cool to see a real game show get made.Pro Tips:- Bring a snack from home, because there’s a lot of waiting! If you forget...there’s still a snack shop onsite with coffee and other goodies.- It’s challenging to find parking, so be sure to arrive early- Wear a unique costume, but not dress as a recognizable “brand” character as that might be against show policy!- Bring your A+ enthusiasm, gratitude and positivity!
I had such a Great Time, I had to go back!It was like going to the Mardi Gras 🎊.The Costumes are Hilarious! 😁Everyone was so nice and was having a Good Time!Mr. Wayne Brady, he is so Funny! He is just Awesome! And his Crew, makes your visit so fun, they make sure that you are pretty much laughing or dancing the hold time you are there! If you are visiting California, you want to make sure you add *Lets Make a Deal* to the places you want to visit! You will have a Ball!
Interesting experience, but at times felt similar to being at the DMV. Lots of being herded into holding areas and the big brother is watching you signs were kinda over the top. I get it, youre trying to make a fun show, but its all a little too forced and manufactured to be truly fun and authentic. The magic of TV!
Lets Make A Deal was quite fun and exciting! It was interesting to see how the show is taped and all the work that goes into making the episodes. The employees of the show, the production team and the stars, themselves, were absolutely amazing! Everyone was friendly, funny and making us laugh all day. Great experience. It is a long day so bring snacks and be prepared to be exhausted by the end of the day. But then you wait to see yourself on T.V.!!!! 📺📺📺📺 😁☺
Not worth it. Got into 12:45 taping at 4PM. Actually had to stand for 2 of those waiting hours. Even worse, Wayne and his crew never interacted with the audience before, during, or even after the show. Ive been to The Price Is Right and Family Feud and the hosts were amazingly interactive throughout the tapings. Very disappointing.
Lets make a deal was really fun! theres a process, 1st check in. During the check in process Youll receive a Name tag and a number on two separate sticky sheets, the number goes on the left side of your chest and your name would be place on your right side, also youll be given a double ticket and rubber band , this ticket is for your phone you have to place one part of the ticket to your phone and keep the other half . Be super enthusiastic, loud, smile, and be friendly youll huddle in a small group with other audience members and the Lets make a deal work crew will ask you your name and occupation, be spunky this is how you can potentially get picked as a contestant on the show. Seriously! Have lots of energy if your goal is to win some cash or even the big deal!!! 2nd youll head toward the waiting area where youll take pictures that you can purchase, buy snacks, and the crew member will go over some rules and regulations when hes done, everyone will start heading out toward the bus in numerical order. While exiting out youll give your phone with the attached ticket to it to the crew member whos collecting phones. Dont lose the other half of the ticket! this is how youll be able to pick up your phone at the end of the show. Yes! youll be without your phone for a few hours but the time goes by really fast so dont think about it because the show is really fun. 3rd youll have about 10 minute ride on the bus, you will arrive at the studios. Take this time to use the restroom smoke a cigarette or whatever you need to do because youll be waiting a little bit more before you go into the studio. Now its studio time!!! Whoo! Once seated place your belongings underneath the chair your sitting in, be sure to keep your energy up at this time the producers are watching you to see if your enthusiastic and camera friendly dont be shy. Dance! make yourself seen Dj Cat play really great music. So get down and have a really good time! Good luck! O yeah, when taping is over youll exit out the building the same way you came in, get on the bus, head back over, get your phone then your free to go home
Brought my 91yo grandfather yesterday and forgot to bring handicap for parking. The parking attendant made me drop him off (in a private lot) and park a few blocks away. Also, felt rushed taking pictures (which they charge $40) you can see we are still walking in our photos!Seven hours later (tickets said expect 4.5 hours), WITHOUT FOOD, only snacks like chips and bananas were available for purchase as was everything else, finally shuttled back to the parking where we (my 91 yo grandfather and I) walked back to the car.Maybe a deal would have made it all worth it, but we were both exhausted and hungry by the time we returned. Not something I would do again.
Best costume will not get u picked to come on stage. Its all about energy and best personality during the interview process. Bring your A+ game when its time. Make your life and job sound highly interesting during the interview. War hero, work with sick kids, help the elderly, ect. Occupations like this will get u sympathy points. It all hep. The woman has to b e the leader in the enery corner.
Dont like game shows at all only took my mom to make her happy. The wait is long. The seats are very uncomfortable the long ride on the bus to the studio was inconvenient especially for seniors (unnecessary long walking) the host Wayne Brady pointed me out and made a comment that I found insulting as. I was wearing sandals and he pointed me out for tgat when there were people dressed up like nuts. I love my mom that is the only reason I went. Will never go again
So not impressed with the low budget of this establishment!!! The audience waiting area is in a sketchy part of town, and if you can believe this, they only have porta potties available!!!! The costume store was a total joke! More like a small corner with a table and crappy Wal-Mart quality stuff overpriced for rent! Itd be cheaper to go to Wal-Mart and purchase the costume than rent it here. The cafe is embarrassing! Again, another table set up with Subway sandwiches (turkey only, no choice), and you get half of a half (about 3) with chips and soda for $7!!! What a rip! I wish that I went better prepared and ready to sit around and wait for 4 hrs! Sooooo not worth my time. Dont waste yours!!!
It was a fun experience making my costume and going.I didnt get picked but i was a little upset about the people they did pick. There costumes where very simple and boring. They picked a lady that was an emojji a simple poster board.Just make sure your ready to wait alot
This was a awesome place to visit, definitely not something I normally do but I had a blast, I would have gave it 5 stars but my only complaint is the waiting area after they take you over to the studio & have you wait outside in a breezeway, it was hot as hell but the upside is once you get inside its ice cold so I guess it wasnt to bad, would definitely recommend this to anybody, I would do it again if I ever have the chance.
Cant say enough about this awesome place.Easy to get to ,I didnt need a lot of directions.Parking is perfect.Attendants were very nice. Plenty of bathrooms easily accessible and clean.Tailgaters no problem.Long lines wasnt a issue.People in charge were kind and friendly.I had a great time.Cool

2022-05-24Plan to be there almost all day. When they pass you in the interview, this is where you want to stand out and shine. If you don’t, you’re not going to be picked. Simple as that. Loved being on Lets Make a Deal ! I won an amazing prize. I would recommend the experience. So much fun!

2017-07-27So, the show was fun. Its an all day process. Ticket says arrive by 11. We arrive at 10. We were 4th and 5th in line. Nice! But, they dont bring you in, until 10:30.When you first get there, you have to park around the corner, and down 2 blocks. Then walk over to the place in the heat. Yuck! New shoes made this quite the chore. So, you go in. Fill out some paperwork. Then, a guy comes and grabs about 20ish people. And just goes around and asks a few questions. Whats your name. Where you from. What do you do. They call this the Interview, and it decides who they will pick in the show. This is an AWFUL way to pick. They need to pick by audience participation. The interview was more like a job interview, than a game show interview. Super lame! How are you going to see our exicted reactions with a few generic quesions???Anyway, you go in and get your photo taken. Nobody tells you were to go, or what to do, until you do it wrong, then they treat you like an idiot, like you are just suppose to know. (Everything is a bit unorganized). You then are in this huge room, with other audience members, and they play clips of the show. They come out here and there, to tell you rules. (I Definetly think they need someone in there at all times, keeping the morale up.)Then. They take your phones. 😥 (This is why there are no studio photos) and you get on a huge bus, and they take you on a 10 minutes ride to the studio. 3 busses! Big, tour bus type things! So you get there, then sit outside for a bit, waiting for the last taping to finish. Once finished, you go in and are seated. When we arrived at the studio, it was like 1:30.Not sure how they do seating. They put certain people in certain places. I kinda wonder why. I guess they want the pretty people right in view, and the rest of us ogres in the shadows. Haha. So, show starts. Lots of yelling and screaming. Then they go around, and pretend to pick random folks (who they have already decided on). And play. After each contestant, Wayne Bradly leaves the stage for a few minutes, and the audience gets up, and dances, yells, and tries to get noticed. They tell you to move and, make noise, so you are noticed, and picked. They tell you this before and after they tell you people were pre selected. Ummm....Anyway, we didnt get picked. I guess we werent fancy enough. One of the girls they picked was lame, and kinda just stood there. She got zonked anyway. Haha! It was fun. It was over about 3:30. So its an all day event. We thought 2 or 3 hours and done. Haha. Nope! Its a slow process. But, you talk to a lot of really nice folks. We might do it again sometime, but with lower expectations.Things to take into consideration.... There are ONLY porta potties outside, at both locations. I did notice a handicapped bathroom inside. Also, the buses have a couple steps up, and its narrow. There is no lift. Most of the seat on the set, have steps to get up. There are a few seats at the bottom though.

2018-08-14We had a GREAT time as audience members for this show. We had reservations for the second taping of the day, but had the opportunity to watch the first taping as well. If you want to be a contestant, come in costume and high energy to the sign-in location. Forgot your costume? No problem, you can rent or purchase one on site. They tape at a diffrent location from check-in and that location has free water and a cash/credit snack bar. Bathrooms are port-a-potties (think about your costume carefully). No one in my party played or won, but we would all still go back. I think its its something fun and diffrent to do if your not from LA. Also, enough locals participate that you can ask people about off the typical tourist trail activities to try.

2019-07-16Super fun day from start to finish but it is a LONG day. We had 11 am tickets got there at 945 am and after everything we made it back to the car at 345. So plan on it being an all day event. They tape 3 shows typically a day and so I think if u are 2nd or 3rd show you have the potential for it to drag a bit...they do warn u that it can be 4.5 hour day but they even admitted they were running behind. Staff is amazing, make sure you ready to lose your voice! And they are always watching so make sure u keep your energy up at all times!

2020-02-10This was a blast! If ever you get a chance to attend don’t miss out. Just pack a couple protein bars to get through the taping. There’s a place to rent costumes and a little “store” to get some average priced food/snacks

2019-06-16An American tradition for oved 50 years I believe! Ive been watching this program since the days of Monty Hall, Carol Merril and Jay Stewart!Watching as a child in the mid-nineteen seventies, I used to tell my brother and sister that one day I would be in that audience!Bucket list item finally checked off!

2018-07-07Super fun show!! We had a great time and will be back for another show. They have great costumes for rent at great prices. Next time we wont even bring our own costumes. We will just use theirs.

2018-06-06This is the all photos of the secretive location you leave your car and smartphones here and are bussed (Amtrak style) over to the studio which is roomy and quite colorful.

2021-11-13It was a lot of fun to be a contestant but I think they should tell contestants how to get the twitter item. I am a senior & I thought I could find the item needed but I obliviously had stuff from another filming.
