I was under the impression that JCPenney was going out of business. To my surprise that is not the case. This one will remain open and no doubt has plenty of sales inside. Great clearance items. I saw khakis on sale for under 20 dollars. Thats a bargain!

When I went they had a pretty good sized clearance section in clothing! Enjoyed my time here but employees were not sanitizing in-between all customers.
Love my hair stylist. However, my stylist suggested a highlight, I was going to use a coupon. The front desk wouldnt let me use my coupon because my girl is a master stylist. They wouldnt let me use another coupon either. I asked, so your telling me I cant use any coupon knowing I wont get more service, she said yes. Ok fine. No skin off my nose. My stylist retires in August. Goodbye JCPENNEY
Only one check out counter open on the second floor and the checker was sooo slow. Many people hanging items up, but no service. Frustrated, I finally put my items back and left. No great deals to be had.

Starting in a positive note, I achieved what I set out to accomplish. I saw pants online of a brand I was unfamiliar with. I saw they were in stock and decided to go try them on before I made a purchasing decision. The layout of the store hasnt changed since I was there last year, so thankfully I was able to find the pants quickly without any assistance. I say thankfully, because I didnt see anyone around to ask for assistance had I needed it. I found the pants to be suitable, but wasnt certain whether I could get the online price in store. As there was no one around to ask, I waited in the checkout line for ten minutes. I was told in order to get the discount in store, I could only use my J.C. Penny credit card; which I dont have. This wasnt a sales pitch, as they didnt offer to sign me up for a credit card. As I was leaving another family was complaining about the same thing. On a deeper level, as department stores are competing heavily with one another and online retailers, I think its a bad practice to lose the brick and mortar sale in hopes Ill take more time to go online to make my purchase. Its not my company though... I did go online to make my purchase, but I went with the brand I was more familiar with.
Went into this location today and employees in jewelry department were complaining in front of me and my friend while there shopping for a gift about how customers are touching everything and how inconvenient it is to have to clean after customers when it is for everyone’s safety. I would hope employees would be understanding and respect health and safety politices for their customers. It was a very uncomfortable experience.
Store is very clean & well merchandized. Went into Macys and was shocked at what a mess it us! Nothing but clearance racks and even those are full of clothing just shoved in. I was really happy to see that JC Penney is still doing so good! The employees were very helpful, asking if we needed help finding anything.
This is very inconvenience, this is the third week I go shop at JCPenneys in Moreno Valley and theres five toilets but only two are working and the other ones are out of order for the past 3 weeks or more this is not good for business I hope you guys take care of it

Great sales and variety of items. Sign up for the rewards program. Sometimes checkout takes a long time, seems like not enough staff.Robert helped me with carrying out an online pick up order and was very helpful, friendly and interacted great with myself and other guests.

I came in today hoping to exchange some pants I was gifted for Christmas, but after 10 minutes of wandering the entire lower level of the department store I could find NO employees for help, the jewelry counter had 2 employees that were busy with customers and and one woman manning a register near the juniors section, they were the only employees we saw. So we stood in line at the register and I just ended up returning my pants, the woman helped me by looking on the computer for a different size in stock, I decided just to return them since there were only 2 in store and chances of finding them were slim.
Found the jeans I wanted on sale. The customer service announcement on intercom that someone needed assistance kept going off. Nobody there. Was greeted by an associate. Went to check out. The associate greeted me very passively, not a friendly one. My experience was towards the middle because I got the jeans I wanted but the customer service was ok.
THIS JCPENNEY IS A VERY GOOD STORE TO SHOP IN PLUSE ITS IN A VERY NICE AERA. THE EMPLOYEES ARE SUPPER NICE AND ITS A GREAT FAMILY PLEASE TO TAKE THE FAMILY TO SHOP. FINDING WHAT YOU NEED IS VERY GOOD. I LOVE THIS STORE BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE GREAT WONDERFUL MERCHANDISES IT HAS TO OFFER..BUT DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, GO AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID.

Love shopping here however some of the some staff are stand offish!! I had been standing in line to pay 2 females were off to the side of me folding clothes and finally one said that I neede to go pay in the back by returns.
Went in to pick up my glasses at the optical department and ended up getting my daughters 3 year old pictures taken at the photography studio next store. We had a great time and my glasses were perfect as well as my daughters photos.
This is a good store. Generally very clean. You can access from street on south side of mall. Outside entrance is near the food court. Kids clothes are on the top floor. I thin adult items are on the lower floor.
I went to JCPenneys I got contacts and glasses at the optical.Great Deals good price.She matched up my eyes.With Contacts.I can drive and read with them perfect.Great place to go for Contacts.First time I had someone.Knew exactly what they were doing.
I went in to look for a mother of the bride dress. I was a bit frustrated, but the clerk that helped us was fantastic! Her name was Aayla. She took the extra time to show me where the dresses were. When I didnt see anything there, she went to the computer to see what there was available online. I felt like I had a personal shopper! She was just wonderful. In a a time when stores are closing this is the kind of personal service Ill miss.
3rd time Ive had to come in for the same f@*king order. Never picked an item and was told if I didnt pick it up it would just be cancelled and never charged. Nope, someone marked it as picked up (sale). Then returned it and issued a giftcard. No thanks want my money back. Nothing but problems with this store.
They do not have enough associates manning check out stations, the lines were long and slow. The jewelry counter refused to check me out because I had a pair of shoes. I have never been to a JCP that was this poorly run and with rude associates. I will never shop at this location again.

As always J.C.Pennys is the place to go... A lil sad that they dont carry as much as they did before... But that wont stop me from going there to shop. Everyone take advantage of their email alerts via email, or better yet download app. for deals and coupons.Side note: If ya dont like either than while in line go to Jcpenny.com and open up deals to barcode and they can scan it right there on your phone or tablet...saved me some money, gotta Love that. The value just isnt there. Marked up items, misleading signage, poor labeling, and a loss prevention voice that follows you throughout the store. I hate Target, but Id rather shop there.
Id hate to work here. The place is trashed during Christmas time. Hard to find anything or shop. Isles had merchandise on the floor couldnt get my cart thru. Long lines. Cant go with my little ones bcs they have meltdowns. Only go bcs I absolutely need something and using the credit card.
Nothing ticks me off more than to order something on the net then have to wait in a long line to pick up in this store. They have one counter dedicated for pickups however, normally you will find many shoppers checking out at this counter or returning items. The other day some defuss had the associate running down stairs to see if they had his size jeans. The only way to pick up an item in a reasonable amount of time is to get to the store as soon as the doors open and make a mad dash to the pick up counter.I am seriously considering ordering on line and paying for the shipping to my home. I think this is what Penneys wants you to do because not all items are free shipping to the store for pick up.
Get it together JC Penney! I shouldnt have to wait over an hour to pick up an online order of one item! Associates have no regards for customers time! Get some customer service training for your associates ASAP!!!!
Terrible customer service. 50 people in line 2 registers open in the whole store, excessive waiting longer than 30 minutes to pay for merchandise. Many people left without purchasing.
Okay place to shop for children and women. I could not find anything decent to buy in this location and I wasnt able to find the young men section of the store. I believe they dont have a young men section like other JCPenney like San Diego does.

Where am I going to store there never seems to be enough help on the sales floor and the cash registers. On todays visit all the lines on the first floor but full of customers or everybody had a difficult transaction and theres not enough help.
It always takes alot of time to shop for clothes, there is only 1 dressing room open for the entire womens dept. You have to shoo all the different designers & drag everything across the store to one dressing room. I do have to give credit where credit is due, the dressing rooms were all empty. In the past few years every time I went the rooms were piled with clothes all over the room, but this last trio it was all cleared out.
I realize xmas just passed but they dont replenish there merchandise fast enough .got the same associate #161 needs better training on how the sales work I had to remind her of all the discounts that are available to jc Penney card holders had to refund all my merchandise 3 times before she got it right.
I only go to JCP to visit the Sephora inside, if I had a mall that just had a Sephora store front I would go there and not even go to JCP. Sephora great. SEPHORAS Customer service great. JCP no customer service, product is cheap, store is always a mess.

Bought my daughter a pair of vans shoes for this past Christmas. Shes only had them less than two months and the inside soles ripped apart. This happened before when I bought shoes from a cheaper shoe store so this is why I bought the shoes from JCPenney thinking they should last her a few months. Price is high when its not the quality you think your paying for.
Tabitha does an awesome job on my hair, Ive been going to her for about a year now and I get a color and highlights. Im always happy with the outcome. She really impressed me with my son though, he is 7 and his dad had taken him to fantastic sams for a hair cut, they really did a horrible job. So I took him with me to my appointment a few days later and asked Tabitha if she could fix it. She looked at him and asked him a few questions then went to work. His hair looks so good!! Better than any hair cut hes ever received (and hes been to real salons, not just fantastic sams) and dont forget she had to fix the hack job the other person did. She is awesome, took me a long time to find a good stylist in Mo Val. Thank you Tabitha!!

I love going to jcpenny but this one is very unorganized and the lines are very long. In one they only had one register. The other side they three but they were to slow and its the first time I got to jcpenny and they have NO a.c. it was just to stuff in there.

I go to Sephora probably about 3-4 a week just to see if theres anything new im a Rouge status member meaning i spend money there i dont have a shoulder purse but i have my backpack lounge bag. I HATE how the black spiky hair want to be cop security guard was looking in my bag like if youre so curious to see whats in my bag im more than welcome to show it to you just dont walk around acting like a badass with your walkie-talkie. Also the girls are really kool im starting to know a few. But the one who has a bitter face doesnt smile or ask if you need any help has to go wish i knew the name to post. 2022-05-21Went for 2 photo shoots,one for the Bridgerton Queens ball on April 10th and the 2nd for mothers day with BFF since 09/11/78. Photographer made sure to add several poses with and without props.to ensure a great session.Sitting fee paid for a year so I plan to go back a few more times before years end. Defiantly a must for professional attitude as well as photos for the price..

2022-05-28This was a very clean store. I really enjoyed shopping for myself, it was wall to wall sales going on, I didnt know where to go first. I was their so long shopping, the store started closing around me. Imagine that, I only went in for one shirt and ended up with so much more. Good times !!!

2022-06-05A hidden gem of the MO Val mall.I buy my dress shirts there(whole rainbow available)and have also purchased a suit(tailored to perfection). Good prices, have always had a great,friendly,knowledgable,and ready to help person in this dept Have and will recommend when asked,they were/are that good.

2021-10-25Same old JcPenney with the same old set up. Hair Salon, Sephora, Optometrist and portraits are available. I went in search of a suitcase. I ended up getting a 26in with lots of zipper compartments, lightweight and 360 wheels😊 @ 55% off! And it came with a 5 year warranty.

2021-09-17Went shopping for a Wedding gift which we found on sale a very nice crockpot and hubby picked up a few items for himself. Store was not crowded which was great. We didnt have yo wait for check out plus got an extra 20% off total sale. That put a smile on hubbys face☺
