Always a good safe bet. Even if the food isnt super fresh, its still good. Use the app (it malfunctions a lot) but when it works you can get special items not listed on the locations menus, coupons, deals, and usually 1 free time anytime you order.
Bad customer service, they don’t have a professional communication with customers. Milk machine is always down.

We went inside to order and overheard Mel telling a customer he couldnt eat his food in the dining room they was closing the dining room. Its 100° at 3pm here dining room is posted closed at 10pm. The guy was already red from walking in the heat and because Mel cant be bothered to clean dining area that young man could have a heat stroke. This is the first time I went to jack in the box in 3 years and will be the last time for lack of humanity.

Didnt have tacos or curly fries 😑 Asked for straws and she said everything is in the bag. No straws or fork for my teriyaki bowl. Were on a roadtrip so it once on the freeway it was hard to go back
Havent been to a Jack in the Box, in a few years, since I moved. Just like I remembered.
I usually like Jack in the Box a lot but this facility was sub-standard. My friend and I both ordered the Ultimate Cheeseburger meals. My cheeseburger was overcooked and so were my fries. I wont be going back to this location on California Avenue.
Excellent customer service and great sandwiches. Also buy a few extras, they reheat well, take them out of the foil wrapper and wrap in a paper towel - microwave 30 seconds! Just like you ❤ picked up fresh.
I just live 3000 feet. From the jack jn the box. I got a bbq bacon double combo. Switched thw fries for jalapeño poppers. What i got wasnt even edible. The burger both patties were so dry the were curled up permanently. Not cooked fresh. The two little pieces of bacon were rock hard old. The The crust crumbled apart when I tried to take a bite. The onions rings were also rock hard and at least 2 hours old. It was the saddest burger in bakersfield and that really is saying something for a place that is supposed to be cooking fresh as they advertise. Me personally. I am going to send a message to all 2800 of my business clients. And let them and all their employees know. I am usually much more reserved but this is not my first time I have given them over 10 chances. And I believe that is enough.
Asked for not spicy was given spicy, asked for no vegetable was given vegetables. Pretty sure my food was spit in too. 🤬
Pulled through the drive thru and ordered 3 Oreo cookies and cream shakes , when I finally got to the window they told me they were out of the item. Shouldnt be running out of that kind of thing

It was not a great experience the young lady messed up my order. Also she tried to overcharge me. I ordered two of the number 27 extreme sausage sandwich combo with orange juice. She gave me one of the number 27 extreme sausage and two orange juices.

Well here i gave it another try a. Yr. Later tonite my daughter had our food delivered thru door dash n they gave a hamburger no bun missing a few items like 2 orders of curly fries my cheese cake n my bacon loaded fries when my daughter called to let employee know working tonite what was missing employee said supposedly thats what missing your missing so we went to the drive thru n roll her eyes had a rude attitude. Management should hire people with great customer service not someone like this employee.Ill never come or recommend this place.
I’m so disappointed in this place. My food was cold and the girl Mariah tried to argue with me about my order everything was cold and sloppy put together... when I asked for fresh fries they brought me out burnt fries trying to be funny.. I don’t know why you work her but don’t want to strive to make the customer happy... I’d give no stars but I had to do something to post this review... just so disappointed 😡
Advertised as 24h but its closed at 1am.Tried to order something on the drive-trough line by foot but the waiter refused because we were without a car and we had our hotel right next to it. 1 min later they took an order from an other one with a car. If they understand capitalism they would take our order! Sorry thats not a good service!
If I could leave less than a one I would. I am leaving this on behalf of my husband and daughter that just went in there tonight at about 6:20pm to get large and a medium drink. It cost them $6.00. My hubby told them there had to be a mistake they said no because there were two people they were counting them as two transactions not as one. Since that is the case they would be charging tax for both him and my daughter even though he was ordering for both of them. He was hot consider he could have gone down the street to McDonalds to get the same drinks for like $2.OO. It wasnt until my daughter and he were leaving and they were discussing it that they figured out that at that Jack they get a lot of homeless so therefore they are charging them so they are not hanging around and they get there money. I dont know if that is true but it seems about right. If so that is sad. But I know for sure they will not be getting our business ever again. That is for sure. $6.00 for two drinks. BS!
Probably not fair for me to rate this, bc I normally dont eat at fast food places. In fact, due to a food allergy, I can only eat their 2 for $1 crunchy tacos, but I dont go there very often- maybe once or twice a year in a pinch. But they have really good strawberry shakes.😊
I really not recommend this place, Manager very rude, they don’t let you use the restroom if you not pay first even if you ask for the kids when they’re have to use the restroom badly
Alway some reason they can’t take my order in the morning time before I go to work .Its like they don’t want to work or something..Always They say the system or register is down. at least that’s what they told me on at least 15 different occasions. Would give negative stars or no star if I had the option .

It’s pathetic that 5 times now I’ve pulled up to order only to be told that the computers are down. 5 times this year alone. No signs no anything you just wait for us to pull up before saying anything. It’s no wonder you are open late, you wouldn’t have any customers if anywhere else was open.
Terrible.. Not only did the give me fries instead of curly which would normaly not be a problem they didnt give me my 2 tacos that I paid for.. 3rd time something like this has happened there. Always not getting what you pay for there.. My advice , go across the street to tacobell. They know how to read a computer screen

This is my 3rd time coming to this location you guys that work here still miss up on my orders when ordering in the drive thru. I order a jumbo jack burger with cheese an when i got it there was none. I couldnt go back in to since i would be late for work. Please retrain who ever makes the food to pay attenion on orders coming in!
Drive-thru shorted order. Management doesnt answer phone. Had to drive all the way back to be left standing at the counter 15 minutes just to speak to a manager. Head manager is out of town for the week so I guess when the cats away the mice will play because the manager on duty Diamond obviously doesnt know how to delegate. After an argument finally replaced my fries but wouldnt replace my cold burger that I am now not able to eat. Would report it to corporate but they make it too hard to report. I will never go back to this Jack in the Box

This Jack in the box was exceptional because of the employees which were super friendly and helpful. The food was what you would expect but fresh warm and our order was perfect but the staff is amazing there which makes this a favorite!
They had terrible customer service! Didnt even get an apology when they messed up my order and I had to drive all the way back...they dont answer their phones! And may I meantion there was only 2 cars when I was in the drive thru.. Just handed me my bag and turned around like I was inconveniencing them!
There tacos have been given to us half cooked. But yet they make a face when i tell them to cook it fully. Or just give it back bc there raw

It is a Jack in the Box in Bakersfield, California. It was pretty warm outside, even in April. Went through the drive through. Food was as expected. Service was ok. Parked in the parking lot to eat. Went inside to use the restroom, ended up accidently walking in on someone using the thrown. Very awkward. They could have a better system for customers to use the restroom.
SLOWEST Jack in the Box in Bakersfield. They have more than 5 people working from what I can see and they literally took almost 20 mins at the drive thru for my chicken nuggets and fries. Never coming back to this one.

Awesome customer service, after ubering all day I stopped to use restroom, and get a coffee, the employee asked if I need the restroom I said please Ive been driving all day, she gladly let me in, ordered my coffee after restroom and left fast service, and great customer service!

I really appreciate that their jumbo jack isnt the price of CJ. Worked at CJ when it was 1.69 each and love jacks price with the new wages. I started at 3.35 in fast food. Minimum wage is out of control. Jack is keeping it under control in some areas.
Got a good burger from friendly people. The new panko onion rings were surprisingly really good. Its fast food, so nothing overly impressive, but Id eat here again.

Every weekend before I go to work I have a problem from Friday to Saturday to Sunday because I work across from you guys I have to deal with your rude heavy-set female employee shes light skin with brown hair and kind of chunky fat white girl whatever she is but this girl is very rude doesnt let you finish your order slams the window and your face I called corporate 8 times and nothing has been done and she still working there she thinks shes funny with all her friends laughing in the background but little does she know that Ive been recording her so if nothings going to be done Im going to put it on Facebook and well see how it goes from there

Cashier/manager above average. As far as food, its called a grilled sandwich because the bread is grilled with a grilling liquid, not just thrown on a grill and lightly toasted into a soggy, gross wannabe grilled sour dough jack. Yuck !!!

2022-06-04I have been going to this Jacks for 18yrs. I can say that it has for sure gone down. I haven’t visited in awhile and on 6/2/22 I went by and got two burgers. I got the double cheesy jack and the triple cheesy jack w/lettuce & tomatoes. Well first off the burgers are small, second the burgers looked like it was the last burger of the day, third and final they charged me extra for lettuce and tomato and didn’t include it. I drove home to find this out but returned to store and the attitude of the employees/manager made it look as if I was a problem when they messed up. They weren’t going to remake my meal until I showed receipt then the lady just tossed the messed up meal in the trash and made a fresh one(so I think).I get home and ate the meal within minutes I ran to bathroom like Usain Bolt.I will never eat here again. Lazy employees and lack of care for quality of food.

2021-09-05Just had the worst experience ever. Took forever to get my food then I had to drive through again to get my complete order. My tacos had no lettuce and the food ordered for my coworker the loaded tiny tacos had nothing on them. What the heck Jack in the Box. Its not rocket science to get an order right. Spent my whole lunch just trying to get food.

2021-03-18If I could give it 0 stars I would. On an 8 hour road trip with a hungry child and it’s suppose to be 24 hours right? Well cones were blocking drive thru, and people were inside, doing who knows what! Thanks Jack.

2022-03-06I recommend not going here. Multiple times I’ve been back here and they have messed up my orders. I went back twice in one night and they messed up what they were supposed to fix twice. And won’t answer their phones at all to get it fixed or my money back. Horrible service.

2020-01-22Used a digital coupon that wasnt deducted and didnt notice before we paid . The manager was more than happy to re-ring us up making sure the discount was applied and we were charged the correct amount . We used a debit card and didnt notice he never credited back the initial charge so we got to pay extra as two days later when we realized his mistake no one could remember us for compensation .In addition, I ordered the value fries, crispy....not only were they not crispy, they were barely warm and barely there, I received about 10 fries in my order.Tried another Jack in the box value fries. This time up on Oswell and Mall View .The value of my $1.79 was 17 fries. Be another year before I try again. 🤷
