I found Hyland Inn on Expedia and it was a great find. I have been traveling for work for months and can assure you that this was without question the most comfortable bed and bedding Ive had in the last 12 properties.The room was well designed, with a couch and spacious bathroom vanity area, slightly dated and afternoon sun forced the need to use blackout curtains for the location of my room. Sound proofing from neighboring rooms was great. I loved this property and extended my stay. One thing to note the location was great for some very good walkable food choices including Vons as the room had microwave, fridge and freezer. Plate 38 & Wok Master became my go tos!I was on the 3rd floor, but there was an elevator. Staff were friendly and overall fellow guests were very respectful of the property.I felt sorry for guests new to the property who stayed last night as we had the crazy female have a domestic outburst in the middle of the night. For future crazy people pick somewhere else as this property does not tolerate such behavior and the cops removed her and her possessions this morning. From my experience this was totally out of character and my extended stay was perfect.

Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful. Negative: The carpet smelled like penetrated urine and it made the room stink. The second day there, ants started to come out around the sink and bathtub. On the day of checkout there was a cockroach in the bathtub. I felt like the room was not sanitize properly.
Management checked me into a room with current bathroom tub clogged up problems. They moved me to another room the next morning for the following 5 days stay. 5 days later checking to see that orginal room still not fixed. Requested for a print out receipt when I left at 11am. 6 hours later, Im still waiting for a print out on my E mail. Called twice and still no receipt. 8 hours later had to drive back to motel and request a receipt and Female employee at front desk printed out a complete receipt, the manager told me in the morning that this motel is a no paper receipts motel and they dont print out paper receipts. Sup with all this? Female employee just printed a receipt and it took 05 seconds.

This hotel is supremely nice --- very modern and clean and parking is included. Its walking distance to so many shops amd restaurants. It is a true gem. There is no need to spend a fortune -- especially when you are in town for work and all you are going to do is sleep, rest and shower.

If you want to be treated like trash please stay here. While management uses coke and stays in the rooms full time throwing parties and keeping “crackheads” as Lexa says, as guest. Lexa is the front desk person who works the late shift. She causes all the guest problems. I’ve personally seen her yell at guest while I was there. No respect towards guest. No communication with guest at all and the cleaning crew goes threw your stuff while your out about your day. Totally not safe. There are plenty of people there who I would consider residents at that property but won’t be taken serious as guest even though they pay the daily rates.Sketchy, people (drug dealers) always hanging out by the smoking area.
I stayed here because I was visiting family and was looking for a budget friendly place to stay. I am not terribly fussy as I do not spend a lot of time at the hotel and as long as it is safe and clean Im fine with that. What I found was such a pleasant surprise! Not only was the hotel clean and safe, the rooms were updated, very spacious and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Staff was super nice. You do need a car to get to the local attractions but the location is very convenient....within a couple of miles of all the shops and restaurants. I found it easier to take city streets rather than follow GPS which takes you on the freeway to get downtown.......if you just go straight on Colorado blvd a couple of miles to Lake Ave, youre right downtown.
Positive: The room is very nice, modern with cool features like the the sliding ¿barn¿ door to the dressing room. Real sharp. The location is close to Th Huntington Library and Gardens. Great neighborhood for walking to see how the other half lives!
I have stayed at the hyland now for the past 5 days i want to say and so far the experience has been one of the best since it was the comfort. I most definitely will be coming back and recommending it to others.They are children friendly, very clean, and actually allowing you to access the pool .The staff is very polite. The manager is awesome great customer service since day one gave me a warm welcoming vibe and felt very comfortable and gave me a true genuine feeling. I like him his staff and his facility.

Nice Place, Friendly StaffWeve stayed here before. Its nice to see that the hotel has little turn over and values its relationship with long serving employees, who are friendly and nice to interact with. the rooms have also seen some updates. We enjoy staying here
The staff here is great and the prices are affordable. At night its nice and quiet. The rooms are so nice.
Overall it was good, but the room had a faulty alarm clock that made weird noises all night until it went off like an air raid siren at 2am, at which point we had to move the nightstand and unplug it.

So far very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accomidating.totally recommend. My suite for a week 7 days was $550 really nice for the cost.
☹️ During checking in, you need to sign an agreement that you will pay a $350 fine if the smoke alarm will turn on. And it turned on at 2 am. Obviously, it wasnt our fault (we were sleeping), but I was scared that they would charge us. We couldnt sleep after that.😊 Smooth check-in and check-out, welcoming personal. Clean room, comfortable bed, high quality bedding and towels.
Not a bad place to stay, a little more expensive than you would think but you are paying for the location.
The room is updated, but it reeks of cigarette smoke. When my husband went to the office to ask for another room he was told it’s a non smoking room and was given a can of febreeze and was told that’s all they could do.
I love a manager thats a stickler for the rules keeping good order and discipline in the house no foolishness no loud talking no ladies of the night nothing I had a great time and Im from New Jersey Im very tolerant of things but I just thank God for that manager
Comfortable and Stylish Remodelled and great place to stay. Nice check in, great beds , good space. Lots of extras like a refrigerator and microwave. Exceeded my exoectations. Breakfast included. Near a Vons grocery and a CVS pharmacy.

Well first off the room had no shower head for two days of my stay then the manager kept my deposit because someone before me put a bag over the smoke detector so that was his reasoning for keeping my deposit plus when I began to argue my point he repeatedly spoke to me in profanity

The heaven motel in Pasadena on Colorado its a very very nice l like staying there because its quiet the rooms are very clean they have good Wi-Fi they have a couch in the room they have a footstools so where you can tuck your legs up and why you sitting on the couch you have everything in there that you need its in walking distance from food places gas stations in my Walgreens or CVS or something like that theyre down that way eating places everything so its very convenient your price is reasonable very reasonable so I recommend if anybodys traveling through Pasadena in Colorado you will enjoy yourself

Its a place to stay. Clean enough. Had a musty smell when the AC was turned on. Musty smells are generally mold. We were tired and I didnt care to inspect so we just turned it off.Nice guy at check in. Easy access and free parking.

Negative: My disabled adult daughter was having an episode & had talked to staff about reserving hotel for another day separately & would be paying.Other than me the cardholder, no one was given permission to charge. So confused as to why this was added to my bill.

Tape on the sink pipes, rust, discolored linens, paint and drywall damage. Random banging on doors at night. Could use more parking spaces.

2022-04-08Hyland Inn is the most comfortable place Ive ever stayed...the staff is wonderfully pleasant and willing to help out in any situation especially the comfort and safety of their guests. The rooms are exceptionally clean and sanitary and are provided with everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Everything is conveniently close by, coffee shops ,markets, covenience stores, restaurants, library, banks and anything else you might need most within walking distance , if not within 15-20 minute drive. The rooms are conveniently equipped with coffee makers, hair dryers, workspaces in your room, microwaves and refrigerators, iron and ironing board and safes in every room for those that need them. For the convenience of their guests there is also a coin operated washer and dryer for those that might need them. The main reason I keep going back is the way the staff makes me feel like extended family. They will do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable as they can, and with a smile on their face. I couldnt ask for more. Thank you Hyland Inn! By the way if thats not enough they are remodeling right now ensuring the safety and comfort of their guests!

2022-06-23I booked two rooms for one night stay. They gave us two rooms with the number next to each other. Sounds good right... Not At All! There is a remodeling empty room in between! We both room were all wake up in the morning by the loud noise!

2022-03-20Worst experience ever...The employee, Alex, canceled our booking.com reservation without telling us until we arrived. He then blamed us for canceling it and didnt even cancel it through booking.com, which charged us. He then offered to charge us again for another room that wasnt even ready. Asked to speak with the owner, Keaton, and he did not allow it. Im a doctor and had an early flight the next morning, and this ruined my night. NEVER STAY HERE

2022-06-13The Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room smells upon arriving. I was mid shower and these inconsiderate a-holes decide to turn off the water for maintenance. Horrible experience I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. The shower itself was dirty not clean. DO NOT STAY!!!!!

2021-11-08Positive: Always very clean, staff are courteous and accommodating. No issues extending stays or with late checkout. It¿s my favorite hotel for overall comfort and ease of booking. As if that wasn¿t enough, this property is one of most affordable in the metro Negative: Vending machines need to be replaced with up to date units and need better selections for drinks. Also, should consider offering breakfast at this location.

2022-01-16Called the hotel to reschedule check-in date, got approved but when check-in the receptionist said otherwise and increase the price by $50. Wierd smell upon arriving at the room, loud noises at night, no drinking water.
