My Husband and I stayed Celebrating us! Will at the Reception was amazing. He greeted with a smile, offered a upgrade, late check out. Acknowledged my status as a Globalist. I felt like a regular.Thank you Will. Love the remodel btw. Showers are gorgeous. Will definitely be returning.
Service is very good. Clean rooms with a great view of the bay and downtown. I had a corner room with bay view, loved it! Stayed for 5 nights and the room service was spot on! The day I checked in, the lift was not working and there was a huge queue, they fixed it by the next day. So, all good there. I found that the parking is very expensive. Paid 72 per day, so whew! Lesson learnt, Uber while in downtown SF 😊
1 star as I didn’t even get to my room. Arrived to check in and told my room wasn’t ready, told I would get a text when it was ready, but took my payment anyway. Okay, not ideal but whatever. 3 hours later and no text, I head back to see if my room is ready as at this point I’m really annoyed. Arrive back to what I can only describe as hell. A good 75 other guests in line waiting to check in. Finally I get to the front and ask for my room key and I’m not my room is still not ready (it has been 4 hours at least since my first attempt!!). At this point I’m tired, I’m still in my travel clothes, their staff are incredibly rude and saying I can pay the same price for a different room, which would be a massive downgrade- so I requested a refund. At first they refused to refund me, I told them I’d be disputing with my cc and finally got a refund and left. Stayed at Hotel Vitale instead.Book at your own risk, I certainly won’t be attempting to stay here again, terrible and stressful experience, and unfortunately an experienced seemingly shared by another 70+ guests.
Wonderful pick via Hotwire. First time at this location, but typical downtown Hyatt Regency business hotel experience, can’t complain! Everything was predictably courteous and standard. We got a 22nd floor room - clean, spacious, upscale with bonus gorgeous views out to the bay. Will happy visit another time.
Stayed 10 days for work. Booked on short notice. First 8 were great. Last two, extremely annoying adjacent room. Walls are very VERY thin. Severely understaffed. However, staff was excellent in every conceivable way. Management should take better care of their workers… Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. Normally I stay in Palo Alto, but the commute was enjoyable, the location fantastic, and the staff splendid. Also, its cheap, but that might be due to the new reno.
4 weeks in advance, I booked a 4 night stay for a conference through my corporate booking process. The day of the event, I flew in, went to the event and then headed to the hotel expecting to check in. I was informed that no rooms were available and that I would be contacted by phone when a room was available. 3.5 hours later there were still no rooms available and no information beyond that. I waded through an angry crowd of guests (all in the same predicament), to cancel my reservation. The intercontinental took me in 5 minutes. It seemed like at least 100 guests were impacted and left without rooms. Stay here at your own risk.
Visited SF for a long weekend a couple weeks ago. I flew in later at night, so my check-in was quite fast (5-10 mins) and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was closed which wasnt an issue. The room was spacious, and Hyatt has a standard cleaning policy where they come every 3 days unless you want it more frequent. Clean room/bathroom and the wifi worked fine for me.Of note, this particular location is right beside Tenderloin, so be advised and keep an eye out.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency at 50 Third Street. We had at least 2 cockroaches and 30 baby cockroaches in our room. We stayed in room 3410. It was horrible, and frankly almost unbelievable. As you know, the Hyatt Regency is a 4 star hotel. When we spoke to the concierge after sighting the first one in the bathroom, she simply asked if we would like someone from housekeeping to clean the bathroom. We were shocked because we would’ve expected (1) a much stronger reaction, (2) serious pest control protocol, and (3) probably immediate motion to put us in a different room. Shortly after we spoke, we discovered a 2nd roach. I was terrified but decided to kill it because I didn’t want it to get into our stuff / luggage before I was able to pack up and leave the room. I ended up killing 1 adult and 5-10 baby roaches in the span of 30mins before being moved to another room. Horrifying. Absolutely could not stay at this hotel again; unfortunately scarred for life. Looking forward to management taking serious measures to avoid this ever happening again and substantially improving hygiene.
The hotel is generally very good. Check in/out is pretty seamless. The housekeepers took initiation to check on us if we are missing anything. The one disturbing thing though is how thin the walls are. We could hear next door screaming in the middle of the night (you know what I mean). So, try your luck to who you are staying next to, lol
Professional, clean, good service, rooms average but nice; no complaints. In a good area with average prices Valet (recommend due to smash and grabs in area) and has decent bars and areas. Quick uber ride from pier 39/wharf area. Walking distance to chinatown- recommend visiting as well!
The hotel was very clean and modern BUT I was expecting more from the Hyatt. No one offered to take our luggage to the room. I requested house keeping before we left to go out and when we came back house keeping never came and towels were not restocked. We usually have amazing customer service at hyatt esp being a discoverist!
Checked in to a really nice looking room but after only a short time I noticed the shower handle and soap dispenser were broken. The kicker was when I wiped water off the floor and the towel came up disgustingly DIRTY. If they can’t do something as simple as mop, what else are they skipping.
The front desk will not help you or even try to go above and beyond for any minor complaint. I asked for a towel to be brought up and 30 mins later, 3 phone calls, 4 front desk persons, 1 manager, verbal confirmation I would be brought up 2 towels, and guess what…. Still no towel! I just called again and they said they’re on the way… Which is what I was told 30 mins earlier. It’s 11:30 pm and I have a 4:30am call… Sad service. Not worth the money. Better places in the same location. Save yourselves the money and the hassle.
Stayed here for a conference. Lovely room, great fitness center. My only issue is the restaurant was closed. You had to preorder breakfast the night before. But more importantly was the lack of coffee. I was still on east coast time and the closest coffee shop doesn’t open until 7. Even the preordered breakfast didn’t start until 6:30 am. Easily walking distance to Moscone Center
The rooms were small. The service was very poor. I literally had a moment when I was bleeding and I requested bandaids and to which I got a response “I don’t know about so many bandaids” and I ended up getting 2. They don’t do room service unless you ask and even when you do they don’t replace the shampoo/conditioner. The staff acts like it’s coming out of their paycheck.
Terrible, terrible front desk service. One awful experience among many: Tried to tender a Hyatt gift card that I had purchased and was told at the desk that the hotel had just joined the Hyatt chain and so had no way to scan the card. Triple checked the Hyatt gift card web site to make certain that this hotel is indeed listed as a participating location for the Hyatt gift program. Still was told they would not honor the card. Had to call corporate customer service, who confirmed that the hotel should take the card and advised that the hotel should be able to manually enter the card number even if they couldnt scan it. Then had to stand in an enormous line to see the manager on duty, who was dealing with the dozens and dozens of problems generated by the incompetent front desk staff. The whole staff needs customer service re-training.
BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING! It is not mentioned anywhere when booking your stay, but the hotel only offers valet parking, and charge $86 dollars aside from your hotel stay. Know that behind the hotel there is self parking which they dont want you to know of Jessie Square Garage which charges $35 dollars per day.I was very disappointed about the overpriced cost of parking, since I had previously stayed at the Stanford Court San Francisco Hotel which also had valet parking and FREE of charge. The price for booking a stay in these hotels is nearly the same, alike the reviews.
Poor front desk service. Only 4 people were staffed, which is just ridiculous, I dont care if you cant find workers, PAY PEOPLE MORE and youll get them! Staff literally REFUSING to hand out water to obviously thirsty, tired guests. Atrocious experience, the staffing manager should be ashamed of themselves.
Stayed here for 4 nights and it wasn’t great. My room wasn’t cleaned even once, which I thought was odd.I could hear everything the person in the room next to me was saying, and they left their TV on all night which was fun!The toiled smelled awful, and it didn’t come from me.I also waited 15 minutes for an elevator one morning to go down to the lobby, making me late for work. I eventually hit the up button and was finally able to get onto an elevator. The staff were all very friendly at least. The view from my room was also pretty nice.
Enjoyed our stay. took into consideration that hotel is under renovation. (we were advised of this before we arrived)...All staff we encountered...pleasant, helpful, some going beyond to make our stay good. Valet service is pricey but worth it, staff at valet excellent! Location is good for using BART and cable car close by as well. Pizza restaurant across the street is very good and stays open late. Grab and go food had good variety and was delicious. My grandson left his earbuds in the room on the day of departure. When we arrived back in N.C. he called and they were in lost and found..mailed out to him right away. Agree that the rooms and decor showing some wear, but that is being addressed. Ive stayed in 5 star hotels all over the country and decor will not make up for indifferent, rude staff. so Kudos to the staff at this hotel for focusing on what they have control over and doing an excellent job.
We got there for 4 nights and our experience was great, the lobby was nice and clean, the crew was really nice and kind. Our room was big with great view. We have two main issues:-1 The cushions were pretty bad.-2 You could hear just about everything going on in the adjoining rooms.Apart from these two problems, our experience at this hotel was very good, the hotel staff even took care of our transfer to the airport (although this transfer was not free).
Incredible hotel interiors! I was not expecting my stay here would be this memorable compared to other hotels. From their doorsteps, Leo assisted me, and He was totally impressive for me. They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! Such an amazing service.
Perfect stay! It’s right next to China town and so many delicious restaurants! Such an easy walk to right downtown! Every room had beautiful views and the staff is so accommodating! Ask for Kevin! He was the absolute sweetest and gave the best recommendations and made our trip so special! Everyone at the hotel was perfect and got us everything we needed for a perfect holiday! Cant wait to come back!!
The staffs were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is close to Union Square (less than a mile walk). Do not walk at night, a lot of weirdos in the area. I didnt feel safe walking around.California Pizza Kitchen is just across the street but there are other good restaurants nearby.Pet-friendly but with $150 additional pet charge for your entire stay which I think is too much. Our room has a view of the city so its ok.Valet parking only.
The service was excellent. Both check in and out was fast and efficient. Clean room and friendly staff was awesome. Being an avid walker I appreciated that the hotel was centrally located so as everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. Overall a great experience!!
Horrible place! We saw roaches, construction going on everywhere! And to put the cherry on top, they charged us $300 fee for “smoking inside” the room, which is absolutely not true, I asked for proof to the manager he denied to provide any. They NEVER reached out to me to let me know about the “smoking situation” not an email, not a call or a text NOTHING. Just an extra $300 dollars fee on my bank account.
Hard to rate this place. We booked it but showed up and there was construction and the place had very limited access. The four stars is for the front desk host who refunded us when she realized we didnt know about the construction.Hyatt owns the place now and remodeling. Will be curious how it will be.
We did enjoy our time at the hotel. Room was clean and staff helpful. Reasons for lower rating: no transportation available directly to hotel from train station. We were dropped on a deserted street corner at 10:30PM and left to find our hotel from there! I felt that to be quite dangerous! And no food service at hotel. We were unhappy with public transportation in general, but that is no fault of the hotel.
The manager does not know how their room looks like and where is quiet since they have construction going. Being told construction started at 7 or 8. But they started at 6am and sooo loud. I recorded construction noise from the window. They refuse to fix any issue and it is not worth any penny to stay here. Gym even closed while other hotel gyms open during this covid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Manager is rude.
Pros: The room was very clean and the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.Cons: the bathroom was very small and could stand a little more attention to the shower fixtures. While I paid for a room with king bed, the bed was clearly not a king. In speaking to the front desk staff, we were told that it was a king but they would be willing to move us. We wanted to avoid the hassle but they really need to consider and confirm what is being paid for vs. what is received.I know we are in covid times and there are adjustments needed everywhere but the to-go restaurant option was not suitable. The prices being charged for the quality of food is unacceptable. We ended up not eating the food we ordered as it wasnt good at all. In addition, the drinks being offered to go were also very bad.I had hoped for more based on the cost.Overall the stay was fine but not our 1st choice going forward.
Beautiful spacious rooms very clean, but fair warning if you reserved a king room and a queen room and you wish to be in the same floor at the very least. You will not get it! It does not exist in this hotel. Only queen room side to side. I chose to stay here because I got a confirmation from a staff member at the front desk on the day of my arrival I was guaranteed that it would be put to the side and of course it was not. Lack of training of staff or simply misleading guest. This was very upsetting but the manager did compensate me.
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this past weekend at this hotel. We are local to the area but went on a staycation while our kids spent the weekend with our moms. This hotel was amazing. I was a little surprised at how much the valet was, but the guys who were working it were super cool and accommodating. I would definitely come back, and if you are visiting the city as a tourist, this hotel is with in walking distance of a good majority of the cities tourist destinations. Highly recommended!
The room was nice, clean, comfy beds; however, the amenities were sub par. When we called and asked about the parking they said they had parking but failed to mention it is only valet parking and $75 a day. The valet also forgot to give me my ticket stub to get my car back so that whole process took an extra 15 minutes. The wifi is a pain to connect too and set up. All in all it was just alright experience, which is what I expect from a motel. Not a 4 star hotel.
Positive: Location - central to everywhere in the city that tourists might want to visit. Negative: Severely under construction. Half the lobby is closed off, only two elevators are working, guests are only allowed to stay on the 5th floor which looks like a murder floor. Rooms are OLD. Should just be closed until the renovations are completed honestly.
Its very clean, modern, and the customer service at check in was very professional. The room was perfect.... Great shower head, and nice sized flat-screen TV. Theres a coffee pot, fridge and complimentary waters in the standard king room, along with nice closet space and a SAFE! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
Very thin walls was able to hear every single word our neighbors were saying also just every door to the other rooms as they were all very loud and heavy. We couldn’t get a good night rest being midnight because of all the noise in the hallway and rooms next to ours. Do not recommend even if you’re a heavy sleeper.
Great location and clean rooms. Room service was fast and decent! Some of the rooms close to the elevator can be rather noisy and loud. My room is on the fourth floor and the elevator feels like a rolling training which wakes me up every morning. The front desk people said the hotel was fully booked. And they were not able to change the room. I hope the experience can be improved for further guests.
Looks nice from the outside. I stayed here for a business trip ( paid by the company). I had a great expectation from the review and pictures. The lobby was very nice. The front desk lady was also sweet. But unfortunately the room I got was not up to the mark. It was a corner room, triangular in shape. The booking was originally written as a king sized bed, but I think it was a queen bed. The room even did not have a microwave or a fridge! May be I could have asked but did not bother. The restroom was nothing fancy. However overall it was clean and the housekeeping done nicely. The hotel position is damn good if you are centered at the downtown SF area.
My room was on the 31st floor and had a great view out to the ballpark and bay. The room was very clean and the size was perfectly fine for me. Hotel staff went out of their way to text me periodically to make sure everything was working out well for me. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choices and the food was good. Its a very central location in a nice area of the city.
The staff was terrible and I was charged twice for parking after being told to pay in cash. When I called the hotel the manager was rude and tried to avoid responsibility. There was no fridge, microwave or any other things that should have been at that price. They wouldnt even give me a receipt until I checked out but they had no problem charging my card as they wanted.
This is a great hotel for business trips and its close to various popular locations downtown for personal stays. The staff are super friendly and strive to make your experience enjoyable. The hotel has a bar, restaurant with breakfast, store, gym, and areas to work with plenty of power for devices. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and have the right amenities. The rooms also have desks and chairs to relax, big TVs with Chromecast so you can play your own movies.
I had a good experience here. The room was immaculate, and comfortable. The only drawback for me was that Im sure the description said there was a refrigerator, and there wasnt. I worked around that, so it wasnt a big deal. But overall, no complaints. The security is very tight here, you need your room key for the elevators and the common restrooms on the lobby level. Lastly, this hotel has really great gym facilities. Free weights, weight machines, treadmills, bikes and elliptical, towels, cold water... very nice.
The location is great and its very convenient to access any location from there. I liked the lobby and the service - very helpful staff! However the room and features could absolutely use an upgrade. The bathroom was worn out, and toilet seat was really small. The room itself was very small and the chair was really really not fitting. And, the TV wasnt even a Smart TV..that I wasnt expecting either.
My family stayed at this hotel for a couple of days during our summer vacation. The room was clean and large, with comfortable beds. We received excellent customer service from the valets and front desk staff. The hotel bar was nice, too. It is centrally located, so it is easy to get to many tourist attractions. I highly recommend it!
Location is great, right downtown. I was here for work and everything I needed was in walking distance. Rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable, though not nearly as elegant as the lobby and bar area. Could use a few upgrades (there was no convenient outlet near my bed, for instance) but these are minor complaints. I did have a gorgeous city view that I really enjoyed. Overall I had a very nice stay.
Great location. Right next to the convention center, shopping and the museum of modern art. It is next to the park as well so on a nice day it is a nice walk. The hotel allows small dogs but the rooms are clean and nice. My only disappointment was no room service so after a full day of travel I had to go down to the bar when I just wanted to relax. But overall it was a good place to stay. They do have a grab and go in the mornings if you are heading out and dont want to do a breakfast its convenient. They also have a gift shop so if you need power cords or earbuds or whatnot its also convenient. But there is also a Target a block away.
I have to say the location of this hotel is great. The room was decent size and bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom wasnt very clean and the water pressure for shower was low. Unfortunately I forgot my key at the hotel and when I called, the operator was extremely rude and literally yelled at me asking what did I forget before I can even finish my first sentence. Then she transferred me to the wrong department because she didn’t FINISH listening to what I was asking. The experience we had with this hotel so far hasn’t been very pleasant. We will most likely not considering this hotel in the future again though the location is convenient.
For a business hotel during covid, the internet is utterly unacceptable. I cant maintain a connection for more than 30 minutes which makes it hard for meetings. The rooms are a little dated but acceptable. My bathroom did not have a working vent so it was always moist.
I have nothing bad to say, my stay was delightful. The hotel is extremely efficient in the way its run, I only needed staff help very seldom; and even when I did, everyone I encountered was incredibly respectful and professional. I am definitely staying here again for my next visit.
The hotel is really nice and clean. There are a lot of restaurants and places to shop all around. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Chinatown, about 15 minutes from the curvy road and 20 from fisherman’s wharf. Staff was spot on! Everyone was super helpful, nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The amenities were also very good. Our view of the city was awesome from the 17th floor, room was very clean and spacious.
Stayed on the 33rd floor, room was nice and large. Amazing view of the mission district. Staff were very helpful. Valet was easy, they have their own underground parking, was around $40 per 24 hours but the other options in the area were around the same price and much less convenient. Would recommend if wanting to stay in the downtown area.
Overall we had a nice stay here. Our initial room faced the new four seasons construction site, which was frustrating. I messaged the front desk and asked them to move us. They immediately acted on this and set us up in a new room immediately. They also gave us free breakfast for each day of our 4 day stay, which was totally unnecessary but very nice.My only real issue is that one of the two people working at the concierge was very hard to work with. He seemed disinterested in helping us pick out activities (even though we only asked two or three questions). Otherwise we had a good experience with the hotel and appreciated the central location.
My wife and I stayed here for two nights and it was great. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Its within walking distance of some tourist attractions, but its over a mile away from fishermans wharf so we got a ride from Lyft. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
After we had an awful experience with Hotel Union Square on 10/11 (they turned the hotel into a homeless shelter and did not inform their guests) Mike, the shift manager at Park Central Hotel, and his staff turned the day around for us. They were professional, understanding and courteous. Even when I wasnt the nicest (due to the mess up of the other hotel), Mike was kind and got us in a room with valet for less than what we would have paid at the other hotel. Mike and his staff saved our day!
Very nice hotel and great views of the SF Bay Area. Lots of great places to eat and shop within walking distance. Yerba Buena arts is across the street also. Elevators are keyed so that adds a bit of safety. Valet is the only parking as was 72$ a day with tax. All in all I would stay here again. Bed was clean and comfortable, shower was nice and had good water pressure even being on the 22nd floor. Didnt get a chance to try the restaurant within the hotel to give a review of that.
Please be advised, this hotel isnt a 4 star. They use and pay hotels.com to prevent us reporting any reviews. See 👀 proof below. This hotel is more of 2 or 3 star. Hallways has stains, spillage, and ripples in the carpet. The TV systems didnt allow you to sync nor connect your devices such as HDMI, Aux nor wifi interaction. Unable to conduct business. Plus the WIFI didnt work.
Nice hotel in a great location in the city. Bed was a little hard but I was pleased to find a top sheet in addition to the comforter. Would have liked a less hard pillow. Towels were soft and and room was in great shape. Lack of a mini bar or late-night food options is a negative.
I have had a very nice experience in this hotel, I am not gonna lie. Some things you can rely on are courtesy, efficiency of the service and a well cleaned environment. I was a bit unsatisfied because I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one at the foor floor, facing 3rd avenylue, therefore exposed to quite a lot of noise from the traffic, but then again the room was at the end of the corridor, so at least I was not disturbed by the other guests. The problem is that the building is dated and would need some refurbishment, starting from the doors, that dont insulate from the noise coming from the corridor, and continue with broken chairs and noisy vents in the bathroom. The gym is well equipped, but theres no minibar. Last but not least, at the end of my stay, despite I booked via Egencia with an all included rate, at the end of my stay I was charged with a destination fee and additional tax, and I did not appreciate this lack of transparency at all. It could have been a 5 star, but due to the above negatives, it could have risked a 3 stars. If Google was doing a better job, I would probably give it a 3.5
Great and convenient place to stay. Got an lovely room with amazing view. They have a pretty equipped gym on the 4th floor. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. You can get points if you are not having your room cleaned. Overall great experience would totally stay here again
Overpriced for the old furniture with sketchy stains, no room service, or lounge for reward members. The location fee and parking fee is ridiculous for what?Eith that said the buffet breakfast was tasty and a great deal of options. Service sucked initially, but quickly corrected.Bed comfortable. My view was incredible. I just expected better of Marriott.
Front desk manager Jackie is the best problem solver and really nice to regular guests- the day staff here really knows what good service means. Im going to let the GM know my full experience here.Problem is as soon as she leaves for the night this nasty big Bertha looking one comes on named Cheryl- steer clear of her!!! She is power crazy and treats hotel guests like prisoners! She is as rude as they come, as a manager it is your job to be courteous and friendly with guests. She refused to waive a resort fee as a courtesy for one night, then she threatened to cancel my extended reservation on my travel app so I would have to pay more if I rebook it- I will have to call the app and complain if she does. What kind of manager argues with their guests on the hotel phone who have been staying 5 days straight? The next day I left for a few hours and of course had to check back in, they couldn’t find my reservation because Cheryl canceled it, let them run my husbands credit card again, putting another hold on it before the last one was released on a weekend causing late fees with the bank, why cant they simply extend my existing reservation? And whats more annoying is EVERY TIME I CHECK IN THEY TAKE 15 min to get me booked in their system!!! I use Hotel Tonight to get a great rate but seriously they treat me as a peasant because I dont book direct. Why would I ever pay more if they mistreat and abuse me?2stars for the poor customer service!
The room was nice and they gave us a nice view like we asked but check out was horrible! First I paid $184 through Expedia with free breakfast included when we checked out they charged us for the breakfast and said it would be fixed. Since their system was down the front desk could not print out my receipt so she said she would take care of it and email it to me because we were waiting for 20 min. A week later they charged extra fees and an extra $160 for the room I had paid for already through Expedia. For a high end hotel I expect the manger to be calling me because it’s 7 days later and iv been calling to make sure the transaction would be fixed now I have to dispute with my bank and will never go here again !
Nice and clean rooms. Like that they have fruit infused ice water near check in so that I could refill my water bottle as I came and went. Nice city views from the northeast side. Only suggested improvement would be complementary continental breakfast. Many hotels at the same price point offer this.
Nearly $400/night (with taxes) for mediocre motel quality (think of an old Days Inn). Old, saggy mattresses on the beds (literally concave), paper thin walls, poorly-fitting doors (leaving gaps for sound), light plugs literally falling out of the sockets (a fire hazard), mold in the bathroom, and a construction zone outside that operates from 5 am to after 9pm daily. I realize they dont have any control over the construction, but the rest? Pretty disappointing. The service in the bar was pretty good and it really is in a fantastic location. The only reason its not a 1 star is that, unfortunately for me, Ive stayed in worse places. For this price, you can definitely find a better hotel.
Ive stayed here for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service we got here. The rooms are very well-maintained with an absolute beast of a breakfast buffet [Truly one of the best Ive had in all my business trips]. The staff was friendly and nice plus we got to check-in an hour in advance. The only downside I see is the places proximity to Tenderloin district and some unsafe areas in SFO
The location is great! Its near plenty of food options and mass transit and its easy to find. The facility is very modern and has most of the conveniences that you expect in a hotel, aside from at least one key feature, which is that a fridge is not included with the cost of the room. There are also some steep fees per night on top of the standard cost of the room which dont provide much in terms of amenities. The service has been adequate but we havent had any specific requests.
GOOD: Great location, far enough from the Tenderloin (sketchy district) yet walkable everywhere in FiDi and SOMA. Plenty of parks, cafes, museums, etc. are nearby. BART and Metro are a block away too. There were no weirdos around the hotel entrance or lobby at all (replying to other recent reviews). They are upgrading everyone to nicer rooms right now due to COVID (some floors are totally closed). Theres pretty nice views of the area from high floors.BAD: Check-in took too long in my experience due to Marriots horribly poorly done systems (not really this hotels fault probably).Street parking is pretty hard in the area, esp. overnight. Maybe 5-10 blocks south you can find some spots. While no car is needed in this area, the rest of the city isnt that easy to get to.
Rooms were clean. I was traveling for business and had a cheap room, but the view was not unpleasant. Good drinks, but expensive. Steak arrived overcooked. Shower was very nice, as was the rest of the bathroom. Definitely better than other hotels in San Francisco. Overall a great place to stay.
Friendly staff and great location. Theres a restaurant in the hotel but its a separate entity so theres no room service. Rooms are nice enough but mine didnt have a mini fridge/microwave though I fathom those could be provided upon request. The concierge proactively reached out to see if I needed anything so I could have requested those items at that time, but theyre not important to me, so just pointing it out for others. My room wasnt far from the elevators but noise levels were minimal.
Beautiful property with a great location. Comfortable beds and all the expected in-room accommodations. However, the parking for a one night stay was going to be $100; the valet actually recommended we park around the corner. There was no hot tub, either in a spa or pool. Staff did their jobs, but not terribly friendly. With all the nearby options, Im not sure this will be my first choice next time.
Swanky hotel, tastefully decorated with a funky, modern feel. Stayed here to attend a conference. Conference facilities were adequate and staff were attentive. I like the art pieces scattered across the hotel. Also, it was spotlessly clean, including conference washrooms.
Attended a conference in June. Catered food was pretty good and space was adequate. Hotel room was good but had a few quirks. Only some channels on the TV were HD; a lot of channels were standard definition which is surprising in 2018. The toilet also felt too small. Rain shower was nice, as well as the pillows and desk. View was great from the 33rd floor.
Probably my favourite hotel I regularly stay in. Feels like home. Views in every room I’ve seen are all so fantastic. Imagine sitting drinking a coffee at 7am watching the sun come up over San Francisco Bay/ city skyline through a floor to ceiling window. Buffet breakfast literally has everything you could want for breakfast and more, and all hotel staff are so friendly and helping.
Great park by the church and Target. Yerba Buena is here and its a great park. Places to play chess (boards are built into tables but bring your own chess pieces) Liquor stores and Target other delis and diners nearby. Market St. right there. Electrical outlets to charge your phono are available. I love SF
Location is awesome but... Everything is charged in this Hotel. If you need a mini fridge $25, Microwave $25, if you need a Cot, Another 25 dollars. There is NO Pool!, Pay per view can only watch once. Pillow sucks (Super Cheap quality), the same as the bed. There is no conditioner, only body wash and shampoo. They give you 2 water bottle a day which is cool, Parking is paid! ($58. If you have a van $78 A DAY!!!! This is ridiculous! They have a charger station by the lobby for Tesla. If it was not the location I would never stay. I believe the room price is way overpriced for what is worth. And NO!. I would not book again at this location
I expected a lot more for the rates I was paying. Room was bare bones and small compared to other options in the area. Power outlets in the room were in inconvenient locations. No robes or slippers provided. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a nice location. The lobby was modern but not particularly impressive. I checked out after the first night and moved to a nearby hotel that Im much more happy with. I ended up paying $300+ for the Friday of Memorial weekend. (Be aware that there is a $44 resort fee. It wasnt disclosed when I was booking, but thats on the website and not the hotel.) Theres nothing wrong with the hotel and the room, but you can get much more for what youre paying from other options within ealking distance.
Obviously a great location, but the staff here really made it stand out. Giacob at the front desk was friendly, courteous, and personable, even at 9pm when we checked in. Staff were happy to answer our random questions, didnt lose my package, and overall immensely professional. Even though the breakfast buffet was a perk from my husbands Marriott status, I would totally go again for the quality and variety. Rooms were clean and simple, but had everything you need.
The service was excellent. They concierge desk was useful and they held our bags after we checked out so that we could explore the city without them until it was time for our flight. The room did seem a little run down, especially in the bathroom and tub particularly. I was also disappointed that there was no mini fridge in the room.
Very nice rooms with modern finishings. Great centralized location in the city. Helpful concierge. There was a space for a fridge, but no fridge in our room. Ice machine on the floor but vending only at the gift shop downstairs. Stylish bar and restaurant, but they were out of one of the ingredients for a signature cocktail for some time; should not be advertised if you dont intend to restock.
The location of this hotel is really ideal, its a short walk to many of the popular locations in downtown. Staff is very attentive and courteous. On the downside, the parking / drop off situation isnt very ideal and the room furnishings are a bit on the dated side. Notably the lack of a convenient power outlet by the bedside. I did have one of the larger corner suites which had a separate living and sleeping areas (pictures posted) which is pretty nice.
Decent hotel with decent views. I had a bad experience because we booked through Expedia. Couldn’t get in my room and my key card was reset and stopped working several times. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. Clean and orderly but the front desk was not the most organized.
No complaints here everything was exceptional. Right from the start as soon as we pulled up we were treaded very kindly, they took our car to the parking lot and our luggage to our room promptly. The entire staff was so helpful and nice even the maid that was cleaning a room next door struck a conversation with my mother talking for a while like if they were best friends that hadnt seen each other in a long time haha. Very nice clean room plenty of extra towels and up to date furniture clean and spacious bathrooms. Parking is pricey but definitely worth paying for, the car was safe and hassle free no looking for parking else were and when you need your car you simply text them and they have your car up front with in 10 mins . Awesome place will be staying here again for sure.
Was a little disappointed because hotel told us at 2am when we arrived (after a delayed flight in) that they had overbooked due to a large conference. They wanted to wanted to send you to another sister hotel but we found it a huge inconvenience that the hadnt found a way to call, leave a VM, email, text to let us know (especially since we were traveling with an exhausted infant). They then miraculously found a room and offered us free breakfast. The breakfast was very delicious. The restaurant staff were so accommodating. The hotel itself is chic, clean, and staff is friendly. We did request a mini fridge for our babys milk that was never delivered but we made do with ice. It was annoying but fortunately not a deal breaker.I would recommend the hotel all in all.
I did not stay overnight but I did attend a social event here and went up to the guest rooms. Getting to the guest rooms is very secure and requires a key card so its nice to know that security is a top concern. Rooms are very standard, and quite clean, but dont let that deter you from the quality of the room. The revolving door in front is a nice touch, but Im wondering why theres a sign on the door that says use revolving doors when there are other doors available.
Showed up, didnt get the room I reserved, got a dirty room and a leaky faucet with the wrong beds. When I went to complain the staff responded that I shouldnt have checked in past 8:00 p.m. on a full night, as if I messed up their rooms: they offered nothing and dismissed me as if i was an insane person.
The hotel is in an area that is easy to walk. To market St where there are a ton of shops to go to. Also the hotel itself has a very modern and clean feel to it. If I was actually staying there id feel secure, thanks to the fact that you need a key card to use the elevator. Also valet parking was easy, quick, but slightly expensive. Overall I had a good experience here.
Had a great stay at my first visit to The Park Central in San Francisco. Had very friendly and helpful staff, especially Kevin who checked me in and Estuardo who hailed us cabs and set us up with a ride to the airport at 4 am. The rooms were spacious and clean with amazingly comfortable beds. The hotel was in walking distance of some great places to eat, especially The Grove which became my favourite place to eat while I stayed in San Francisco. No kidding, I went everyday. They have a concierge service which helped set up a few tours we wanted to take during our stay. Literally my only and very minor complaint was that there was no mini fridge in the room but overall I would definitely stay again if I return to San Francisco.
We stayed there a couple of nights over the New Years weekend. The experience was very good; rooms clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is also dog friendly, and has a park strip just around the corner for your pooch to take care of business. Walking distance to local landmarks, restaurants including the Jewish Museum and a great deli. Highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is gorgeous and the people who work there are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and a good size. Its in a good location (San Francisco is a rough area as is). You feel very safe in this hotel and like youre an important person no matter who you are. If you go to San Francisco, stay here! Its within walking distance of restaurants, bus pick up, shopping, and more.
Big hotel with a nice lobby. Stayed on business. Near the convention center. My room was weirdly designed. I appreciated the corner unit and windows but far too little was left for the bathroom. Could barely fit inside and close the door without standing in the bathtub. I also needed a wakeup call and all the preset buttons on my phone seemed to call no one. I had to call the operator with my cell phone and get them to call my room to verify my identity.
Not a 4★ hotel. Very old, inconsistent rooms, missing features. I had two rooms, one of which had no shaving mirror, another one had no notepad or pen. I also tried a third room — it was the only room out of the 3 to have a handheld shower, the other two didnt have it. The last two rooms had bathrooms so tiny that you could hardly close the door without hitting the facilities, which, to add insult to the injury, were not male-friendly.Service was good, but thats about it.
Check in was fast and easy. All the employees are helpful and courteous. Even after the concierge was closed and we needed to print out boarding passes for our flight the next day and manager brought us back to her office and assisted us by printing them out for us, which she didnt have to do any of this so we were very greatful. Great room everything worked the bed was clean and fresh linens. We only stayed one night but will definitely stay again if were ever in town again and will recommend to friends and family!
We had a layover in San Francisco and decided to stay at the Park Central Marriot. They have excellent service, the rooms are clean and the view was fabulous! We had a very nice walk along the water and walked to pier 39. What an AM♡ZING layover! We cant wait to come back
Hotel was very centrally located to both union square and china town which are always on top of my list. Check in was easy and without delay. P forgot a few bathroom items and the front desk was happy to provide. Concierge was friendly and knowledgeable. Service at the bar was slightly off until he realized i was a guest so one star off for that. Other than both bartenders, very excellent all around. Loved the huge clock in the lounge.
Service was 10/10. Location is convenient, but there is a construction site nearby that emits beeps until midnight. Room is fine, except that the lighting is way too bright. Bedside lamps should not light the whole room! I ended up throwing towels on the lamps. Outlets were not conveniently placed - usually business hotels put them on top of the desk, but I had to crawl under / behind. I would never stay here with my own money.
Its a Westin hotel and my first visit. Arrival experience was smooth and fast. The bellman (tall smiley oldman) outside was really helpful and friendly. The Front Desk Agent was doing the right thing by giving me an option to choose. And I was very lucky to pick a good one. She gave me 22nd floor, twin-bed room floor-to-ceiling window with city view. Beautiful view, day and night. Please expect noise level because its facing to city, not really recommended for those who really concerned about level of noise.Clean room, comfortable bed, big TV and fast internet access; Ive everything I need!I extended my stay another night since I was staying with corporate. The lady who helped me to process my extension was really great, efficient and helpful (again, I forgot the name).I also try the Bar at the lobby, again.. the Barman was really great.Thank you Park Central for the lovely experience, service beyond expectation as well as the associates.
Great place to stay when in the city and wanting to walk or uber/lyft. Friendly staff great restaurant inside lobby, had a really nice brunch. Room was comfortable and so was bed. Only downside is how expensive it is each night if you have a car. We parked around the corner in a lot to save a few bucks but couldnt come and go. Im sure this is an issue in any big city but worth being aware of.
This was our first time staying at the Park Central Hotel. If youre shopping or site seeing the location is perfect but what won my heart was the staff. Ive never been treated better! The room was spectacular. We had a HUGE picture window overlooking the city. The beds were very, very comfortable. I wanted to take the bed home with me! We loved our stay at Park Central. We will definitely be coming back!
For the price I expected more - based on my stays in similar cities (Seattle, San Antonio, Washington DC, Phoenix). Room was clean but average furnished - bathroom was small. No refrigerator in room although there was a space for one. Allot of hallway and adjoining room noise throughout the night so sleep was poor (had to call security twice to complain about it). Areas outside of hotel were dirty and seemed unsafe after dark. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions on places to eat and local attractions. I will try a different hotel next trip to compare. Currently wiuld not recommended.
Fantastic place to stay! Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. The wifi is great and work really good - not a standard even today. There is no breakfast included but a little bar where you can get some bites when you are on the run, a continental breakfast is available for about $30.
We are currently having a really gala time with our stay at Park Central. Our first and foremost thanks to Sara the wonderful lady at the Reservation and Reception who upgraded us to a cosy comfy room on floor 23. She even extended us a mighty generous buffet breakfast for two though we had only a grab and go breakfast in our booking . Also we got a drink voucher for two at the bar. All this because we had a slight delay due to hotel norms for small security deposit through credit card which I was not having one. But she somehow got it waived for us and then the above ve mentioned fabulous gesture for our small troubles. Honestly its people and staff like Ms.Sara who give immense trust and belief in choosing the right stay and accomodation. Even the other people around including ones at the breakfast venue were genuinely warm and welcoming .Breakfast was lavish and a true delight with various choices to tuck in.I would undoubtedly choose Park Central whenever I visit here next even though there is no dearth of choice in this happily buzzing place San Francisco.Thank you very much.
The rooms are pretty basic, which I wasnt quite what I expected. I kinda of expected a more nicely decorated room, but the room was pretty much the same as what you would get at a budget hotel. The texting service was nice to ask how my stay was going, but I feel unnecessary. The bedding was very comfortable. There isnt a standard shower head, instead being a downfall style that switches to a handheld horizontal spray. I like being able to keep my head out of the flow of water while washing my body, which is very difficult with both of these modes, as I cant just aim one of these sprays at an angle towards my body. I felt that my cell phone 4g service was better than the provided wifi, and found myself tethering my laptop to my phone instead.
I checked in here as I had a conference at Moscone. It was very convenient walking over to the conference and being able to run back throughout the day to drop stuff off or take a nap. I was checked in by Raichel who was wonderful, very helpful to get me a king room, and explain all the facilities. The hotel has the basics, plus their ice machines work. The room was nice, if a bit cramped in the bathroom, however it was clean and well maintained. If I was back in this neck of the woods, I would definitely use this hotel again.
Attended a conferenceClean modern hotel, good location. Friendly helpful staff. They need to add conditioner to the bathroom amenities and mark bottles so you can easily understand what is shampoo, what is soap - even if your eye site is no longer 20/20.Needs more TV channels.Basic gym, no pool .Well managed and average.
There is a $44 per day facilities fee that was not advertised or explained when I️ booked. This is a fairly basic hotel with few amenities and a below average gym so it’s unclear why there is an additional fee. Feels very deceptive. The rooms are fairly basic - the size is fine but the bathroom layout is squished with dated shower fixtures. I️ also found the sheets to be stiff.Last - the staff seem fairly demoralized. Some are friendly but it seems to be more a script and less genuine. I’ve asked for help on several occasions and was met with lackluster service and responses.
Staff weren’t very polite/helpful compared to other hotels of similar rank. They do a paid early check in, and said we may lose our reservation if we didn’t check in at their predefined check in time.At the bag storage counter I also had a hard time getting service.Room itself was nice enough.
Weve stayed here two years in a row. Price is always within reason, service is phenomenal. Justin at the front desk was amazing those year. Rooms always offer beautiful views of the city. We love coming to San Francisco to celebrate our anniversary, and Park Central is becoming a part of that tradition. The breakfast was delicious and worth the price. The only area that leaves something to be desired is the bar, our drinks are never made right and out of the 10 we ordered over our 3 night 4 day stay the only drink that was ever palatable was the beer that came in the bottle. Certainly not the end of the world, the price, food, location, and service easily sell this as a great place to stay
Overall, an excellent, simple, and standard hotel. The decor is high quality, but somewhat standard. The service was excellent as well, the front desk staff were quite friendly!Note: The Park Central does not have room service, which I wasnt aware of at the time.Id definitely stay there are again for a good, relatively inexpensive, hotel in SF!
Found out I needed to check in before midnight. Just made it by 1130pm. Chatted with the very personable young lady at the front desk about her kids. They were nearly full for a conference but she very kindly upgraded me to a room with two beds on the top floor. Excellent customer service.
The hotel is located just at the right place. Union station walkable distance and a bus stop close by. However, the hotel doesnt provide breakfast which was a bummer for us. So if youre looking for early morning breakfast, make sure you make arrangements accordingly. The picture below is the view from our room window.
The location and panoramic views are worth it but the hotel itself feels a bit dated. Id replace light switches to something more contemporary rather than something that belongs in a museum (these yellowish old-school switches look cheap). The bathroom: the tacky curtain could be replaced with a glass shield or something more upscale to match 4 stars status. There was also quite a lot of rust in a bathtub. Ew, in a suite!(#2206) Another nuisance: its not possible to watch Netflix or Youtube directly from the TV, you have download the Chromecast app on your phone to be able to stream it on the TV! Its quite annoying, whats next - shall I bring my own TV next time? Other Marriott hotels have streaming services built in TV (i.e.HBO). The glass table in a suite is a safety hazard - Im not particularly a clumsy person but Ive hit myself several times, so now I have to refrain from wearing shorts (these blues marks will raise a lot of questions, smirk). Overall, the hotel doesnt need a major refurbishment but attention to small details could be advisable.P.S. I was surprised to see a box with cotton balls with no protective packaging during Covid-19 times, doesnt seem to be safe at all.
Beautiful, simply designed hotel in the middle of everything and just a minute walk to a lot of munis. The lobby smells like lavender. We were able to get our room 5 hours before check in which was very nice. They even held our luggage after check out. The traditional room was spacious for two people. The bathroom is a little small but no need to complain about that. The bed was amazing. Couldnt hear any outside noise at all. The view from the window by the elevators was very nice, even rode up to the 36th floor to see it from there. Never encountered a rude employee. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel - but also extremely expensive. Beside the hotel rates you are asked to pay extra for almost every little thing: Internet (only 5 devices per extra payment), fridge, microwave, parking, fitness facilities etc.Parking is 80$ per day, but across the street you only (!) pay 35$ per day - ridiculous! We came in around 7pm and the room with two queen beds (we had our two boys with us) were not available - so instead they crammed us into a room with a king size bed plus two extra beds where one was about 20 cm too short for our son. The next morning we had to pack up all our things again to move to a new room. Because of the inconvenience, they promised a room higher up and to remove the resort fee. Both things didnt happen until we pointed it out.... We initially got a room on the same floor - and we also got billed for the fee (they changed the room and removed the fee again after some hassle). So - not very prof. despite the high prices - but an amazing view - at the end.
Simple (minimal amenities) and useful hotel for what it is, but not one I would be excited to stay in. No room service, very limited in-room amenities, and a so/so hotel restaurant/bar. Overall, everything is clean and well updated + location is pretty convenient if youre wanting to be downtown near museums/convention spots, but very little to compel me to return with enthusiasm.
Great location, very nice rooms with comfortable bed. We stayed in a suite, which was well-appointed. Breakfast buffet was ok, although bacon was super salty. Concierge was terrible. We were caught in unexpected traffic due to a march through downtown SF. Since it had been planned for a while, we wouldve expected the hotel to know about it and advise its guests accordingly, but the front desk was completely unaware. We asked concierge while stuck in traffic what our options were, and he was thoroughly unhelpful. We asked to speak to a supervisor, and he acted like he didnt hear us or understand us. Later, the hotel manager apologized and comped us the breakfast and a bottle of wine, so at least someone there understood what customer service means.
A fine hotel with an excellent location. In the finance district, close to Union Square, a short walk from the Ferry Building, Park Central has an excellent location. Youre very close to the metro, and within walking distance of lots of sights. Beyond that the hotel is solid but unremarkable. The rooms were large, clean and comfy. I found I couldnt use the power sockets in the desk due to their placement and my plug adapter. But my one major gripe is that there was a repeated annoying door opening sound from about 6 am onwards that was audible in the room; I suspect it was the door to the nearby gym (which looked well stocked with a considerable number of machines). Staff were very friendly - particularly the valet parking - and check-in and out were fast.
I had an exceptional experience at this location. The staff was amazing and they provided a world class experience. I loved the location in the heart of downtown and it is just walking distance to many attractions.Raichel at the front desk was amazing. She checked in on me throughout my stay via text to ensure my experience was amazing. The only thing I did not like was how to navigate the use of the TV in the room. You can not see whats on, you can only see a list of channels. It was a big time for multiple sports so thats the only reason why it mattered to me. I wont hold that against the hotel because the overall experience was amazing. The pictures are a view from my room on the 35th floor.
Staying for 2 nights at the Park Central. Check in was quick and easy (no mobile key). I was in a king room on the 26th floor. You can see from the pictures the views were pretty good. The location was convenient to my office, places to eat, and a short jog to hit embarcadero for a run by the water. The room was clean and offered a desk, separate chair and dresser and standard tv. Bathroom was clean and toiletries were ok. I chose and extra point bonus by opting out of housekeeping. Lobby was clean and they offered a free painting class the second night I was here (arrived late the first night). I didn’t eat on site so no comment on the food. I did eat at Oren’s across the street and yelped a bunch of other options within a block. This was one of the only Bonvoy properties that was approved for corporate travel. Likely stay again if I can’t get a nicer hotel approved. 👍🏻
This is a tough review to write. The pictures look great, the interior looks upscale, the staff is friendly, but this is a very low scale, poor amenities, just bland place to stay. First things first. Location is great, walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, and convention center. Check in was quick and staff was friendly. We learned at check in there is NO ROOM service. Really?!?! Very disappointing as I was in meetings so family could not order anything. They had to leave the room and go elsewhere. OK, perhaps not a big deal. There is no fridge or mini bar in the room. So, if you’re not going to offer food or drinks, and we have to got get our own, why not at least have a fridge? Last, room is very bland. Tiny closet, very dated furnishings, drawers don’t stay shut, tiny bathroom. Just like room service, the bathroom is bare and was cleaned terribly. Hairs in the tub, water drops on the counters in the room. Nothing but soap, shampoo and lotion. Last few hotels I have stayed in that charge this much had Q-tips, Cotten balls, toothpaste, etc.Had 2 drinks at the bar. $58. Before tip. Food for the group I was with was good. The little store that most hotels have seems like a pretty good selection when you first walk in but they did not carry a lot of stuff we needed, Again, another trip out. Not terrible but just a huge inconvenience when traveling with kids. You don’t want them to have to leave unless you are with them.I’d really like to give them 2.5 stars but the dirty room and the lack of room service and no fridge will make this our first and last stay here. What is most disappointing is it would take the owners very little to push this place over the top. They have a restaurant so they could clearly provide room service. Other chains let you order from local kitchens and they deliver to your room. It’s not like we wouldn’t pay extra for the service. No fridge in the room, well that just sucks. I guess I could call and ask for one but really? Just put them in already.Again, we tend to camp in rooms more than most so if you’re just looking for a pillow to sleep and use the room very little, again, great location. If you like to settle down in your room at night, snack and unwind, watch a show or movie, pick another place. I
Average hotel compared to others in the downtown area. Lobby area in my opinion was way too dark. The front desk is actually three separate podiums and because of this and lack of signage one doesnt really know when to check in. Views on the higher floors are spectacular.
I was placed in this hotel as part of a conference that I attended this summer. The hotel is really nice, although I dont really know how much the room rates were. Several great bars/restaurants within comfortable walking distance which is really nice! The only real downside that I had with The Westin is that the elevators are extremely slow and that Wifi is not complementary. Also, there is a lack of electrical outlets, as they dont have one near the bedside table.
I stayed here for job training and was pleased with my room. It was clean, stocked, etc. The only flaw was that my room didnt have a minifridge. The hotel staff was friendly. As I left the hotel in the morning, the cleaning staff went out of their way to greet me with a smile and a good morning.
Attended a day long conference here, including breakfast and lunch. The hotel and conference room are clean. The conference room wasnt well-lit, but that may have been a choice of the organizers. The food was fine and the staff was nice, even if one had no idea the hotel was hosting an event.
This hotel is on par with what I expect from a Westin. The location was excellent for my purposes and the rate was very fair. The service from the front desk staff and the valley was on point. They have me a large corner room with 3 big banks of windows offering some good views of downtown SF. The only downside in my opinion its the fairly cramped bathrooms that appear to be from the 90s. Would recommend.
The Park Central hotel is a great hotel for the area. The room seemed a bit dated and the TVs were very interesting. The Floor to ceiling windows were nice. Overall service seemed a bit too serious but I did respect their efficiency and they were very good at their jobs.
The views from this hotel are unbelievably gorgeous and picture perfect- those alone would make up for much worse in any other hotel. I stay frequently here and have never been disappointed - courteous and very customer focused staff, spacious rooms (at least for one), clean and hygienic and the gym is good. My only ask would be to offer more variety on the room service menu. Great option for business travel- pro tip; book on hotel tonight or spg as close to your travel as possible for the best rates.

2022-06-28Stunning renovation in a classic hotel and location. This hotel has had a beautiful renovation very recently. Its well-designed and doesnt have that typical generic design a lot of hotels have when they renovate. Additionally, there was close attention to detail with the renovations whereas a lot of renovations these days feel halfway done. They left no stone or corner unturned when renovating this place. The staff was top-notch and extremely friendly and helpful at every turn. The rooms are large enough and well-appointed which isnt always the case in this city. I will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you for your cordial service and attention to the little things!

2022-05-31I’ve used their valet parking many times but only recently stay there for 2 nights. The lobby hasn’t fully reopened with all the services (I don’t think) but the rooms are more updated than some other similar class hotels in the area. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to so many places. I’d also consider this location very (relatively) safe. Friendly staff. All good during my first stay there!

2022-05-25We got one king bed room in forth floor. We could select between 4-9 floor but prefer 4 since we chose city view and we liked to see people! Bed was good it has coffee maker, Starbucks coffee, and Tazo tea! Everything was good. They have tooth brush toothpaste razor and everything you need up on your request! They are fast when you request from front desk. They don’t have buffet breakfast but they have some brief breakfast and you should go and pick it up by your self and bar is open only till 9:45!

2022-05-17Hyatt always delivers especially if youre doing the whole world of Hyatt credit card thing. Nice place. Restaurants were closed though. Bar closed at 10 but theres a great place across the street. I got upgraded to a corner suite and the view was amazing. Definitely will stay here again.

2022-04-06Beware of hotel theft!!!!!!My cousin is visiting from France. Upon arrival, their bags were loaded onto the bellman’s cart and their car was valeted. By the time the luggages arrived at their room, their one backpack with 2 laptops in it was missing. They went down to notify the receptionist immediately. My cousin asked the staff to check the camera at the front entrance to trace the backpack. The staff said the cameras were not working because the cameras were newly installed and takes around 3 days to work. That sounds fishy. My cousin then asks to check the camera inside the lobby. The staff said they will check. It’s been 2 days and they have not seen any footage of the backpack. Something smells fishy. There is an exact time when my cousin entered the facility. You just search the timestamp and date. The lobby and the front entrance is a public area! What do you mean the cameras are not working? Now they are saying they are not obligated to have cameras there? Clearly they are not taking necessary precautions to keep guests safe. Their backpacks were stolen!!! We are still waiting for the hotel staff to get back to us. This is mentally draining. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Your bags WILL BE STOLEN. Hotel staffs WILL NOT do anything.

2022-07-02I loved this place. Stayed for a week. The rooms have beautiful views and the staff is so so nice.Like, everyone was amazing, including the folks working in the cafe. I have to point out one of the staff members named Giacob who went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with my stay.I travel a lot and this stay was a very solid experience.

2022-03-01This place is great, newly renovated. The staff here are so friendly and were giving out free cookies and water for the guests. The rooms are so clean and beautifully done. The beds are very comfortable with the option to connect your phone to the TV through smart view to watch your own streaming services. The view was beautiful too.

2022-02-21They are renovating the hotel. We had issue with the elevators which caused a little bit of an inconvenience getting up to the room. No microwave in the room was disappointing. Other than that stay was pleasant. Views of the bay were so nice to look at. Close to shopping and restaurants. Traffic heavy at times but it is center downtown which is expected.

2022-06-13A great experience! We were blown away with the hospitality and excellent customer service. The Valet Supervisor (Fernando) is such a helpful and kind person. Thank you! Also wanted to mention (Miguel) Bell Hop for being so friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast spot you recommended. The Grove.

2022-06-25This hotel made and saved our entire trip. The service was outstanding, the view was incredible, and I will always remember the staff. They had great recommendations, and were super friendly.Special recognition must be given to Makayla Wells at the front desk who saved our entire trip. She rescued my wallet from being stolen and kept our entire trip alive!
