They always have a problem with their glitchy system so always call to confirm that the room is really available. Rude front desk staff during check-in. Funky carpet smell. Bedsheets in the hallway. Loud a/c. Tiny bathroom. Doors doesnt have felt pads/ door closer so youll here doors banging all night. No microwave. Nobody cleans up the breakfast counter and trash is just piling up in plain sight during breakfast.
This is my go-to hotel in the SE Bay area. The location is super convenient, and it’s generally well equipped. The service crew has been steadily getting better, but is not up to Hyatt standards. The breakfast is always the same, and does not have many options. Predictably is good when you’re just trying to get your day started, but a few options that showed consciousness of different nutritional needs would be a big step up.
Positive: The check-in process is efficient and thorough and that is all so to the well trained Front Desk staff. I am very familiar with staying in hotels so I really do like the quick efficient check-in process. Always clean rooms and I love the room size. Negative: Great staff no complaints there. I really like the room size but there are a few issues with the bathroom door barely missing the toilet when closing. Also no nightstand drawers, a microwave would be awesome and the iron in closet is in the way.
Positive: Nothing Negative: This Hotel is dirty, Old, they had given away my Handicapped King room and put me in a Small twin room for the first night ... they still use the pandemic as an excuse for not cleaning the room everyday , when its apparent that they are doing it to save
Positive: The kitchen was closed the bar was closed the heater did not work and if you wanted ice you had to find a staff member because they don¿t have ice machine on the first floor. The place did not look like in the pictures overall not a good place Negative: The room did not have a microwave I think if they have no kitchen at lees give some way to worm food the shower tile was dirty needs to be clean more
Positive: they did tell me that I will get a refund on my reminder of the days since I only stayed their for a day instead the full length of what was initially planned that has not happened yet. Negative: their was no water pressure in the shower, room was decent size, layout of the room was some what awkward.
Most of the time we use Hyatt Place when we travel. The Fremont Hyatt Place was really nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was very clean and quiet. Great place to stay. Have to say they did a great job cleaning during the time with COVID. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Hotel was clean and staff was responsive. However, in the parking someone broke into our new car during the night and hotel had no clue how to handle this. Car was parked where the hotel staff recommended us to park (since I was moving to CA and it had uHaul trailer on the back). Receptionist asked me to park in the far away corner which happen to be a dark place in the night. All this made this stay horrible.
I LOVE THIS HOTEL! The rooms were nice, and the staff members were great! I like that the bathroom sink is separate from the toilet and shower; that can be convenient! And the breakfast in the morning was delicious! The only complaint I have is that parking is somewhat scarce, but that shows that people come here to stay because its a great hotel! I would strongly consider staying here again in my future visits to the Bay Area.
Friendly staff, very clean, and seems to be the only place locally serving breakfast during this pandemic. They have fairly decent wifi and very nice rooms. Their gym is no longer open but if you ask they can give you a pass for the gym next door for only 15$ a day! If youd like ice you have to go to the front desk. Of course the pool probably wont open up for a while. But other than limited amenities probably the best hotel Ive stayed at in the area. And fairly affordable!Edit: Id like to add that if you stay here frequently your devices will automatically sign-in with the wifi because of the way their sign-in works. I absolutely love this! Also they recently added a microwave downstairs for everyone to use, it gets cleaned after every use but they keep the cleaning stuff there if youd like to clean it yourself. ❤️
Convenient located, clean and modern. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay when in the Bay area. Rooms are large and feature a living room, kitchenette and a separated bedroom area with a king sized bed.The food selection and bar are good and breakfast is included for Hyatt members. My only complaint is the WiFi is a bit slow.Highly recommended!
The service was great and the staff is super friendly. The building itself is starting to show its age, but still a nice place to stay. I had no issues with my room during my stay. I really like that they have a bottle refilling station in the hallway on the first floor. That is a nice recent upgrade that they have done.
We are a family of 6. We got 3 pillows, 2 towels, 5 blankets, oh and they brought 3 more pillows without pillows case.Since they didn’t have any pre blankets to give us one of us had to fold a sheet reveal times and use that to keep warm.Oh and our car was scratched up badly, when asked if they can check the cameras, we wore tooled that we had to take that with the police. This place is absolute garbage
We were in town to visit a family member and were looking to book our usual hotel in the area. Unfortunately (fortunately, now that we look back!) that hotel was booked and the days available were way out of our price range. We came across this one since it was a short distance from where we usually stay and available at a great price. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a very polite and courteous front desk staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. During the morning, a hearty breakfast was provided and the staff did a great job cleaning up as some of the guests left quite a mess unfortunately during that time. The gym was slightly small but had just the right equipment for a good workout. We will be definitely looking forward to staying here again when in the Bay Area!

The rooms here are a good size for a single person, and even up to 3 or 4. The separate living area was great for watching TV, and spending my evenings before retiring to bed. I usually work out in my room and there was plenty of space to do so. Im dinging one star for lack of a wired internet connection (please let me know if I missed it and that star is all yours!) Friendly staff and a great breakfast bar. I was here for a week and the variety made the breakfast seem unique every day.
We stayed at the Hyatt Place at the end of March 2018 and we all absolutely loved the hotel and staff. Everyone who worked at the Hyatt was friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable! The two people who deserve a shout out is Kevin, the hotel manager, and DJ, the cook and occasionally the shuttle driver. They both went above and beyond to help us enjoy our first time in California.About the hotel itself; it was clean and the buffet breakfast had a good variety of options. As well, the 24 hour restaurant had really great food to order for a decent price, no cheap microwaved like meals!
Arrived hoping for a room with two beds, put a request in when I booked, got the one king bed room I booked, but when staff heard how disappointed we were they offered us complimentary drinks. Breakfast here is also different everyday. Mondays breakfast had these egg bagels that were just awesome. Bathrooms are small but room is very much roomy. All the staff were friendly and great. Definitely staying here again if Im in the area.
It is a decent hotel. Rooms are spacious. But rest room is too small (think like a flight rest room). Room service is OK. Still they need to clean the carpet properly and often. Their water heating plant failed for two days. It took long time to restore, managed by getting limited hot water from neighbor building. A big parking lot is there. Staff are very helpful. Laundry is very costly. It is a recommended hotel in this locality.
The room was clean, spacious, and the hotel is very centrally located for easy access to 880 and 680. The pool was clean and my son enjoyed it thoroughly. I took off a star due to the lack of towels by the pool, a slow drain in the shower, and a harried receptionist at check in.
Weve stayed here in the past and the staff is great. They are very helpful and accommodate you needs. The kitchen is just ok. The same dry scrambled eggs three days in a row get pretty tiring. Theres lots more to pick from but being on a gluten free diet makes it somewhat limited. But, thats my problem not theirs. The dry eggs is a problem though.
The hotel and room is average. Breakfast has a good selection. Staff are all very friendly and nice. The elevator is extremely slow, sometimes I just take the stairs. I saw a lot of people going to the pool but I didnt get a chance to go. The fitness room is really small, not much there.
The staff is friendly and helpful, the location is right off the 880 highway and offers convenience to the local areas. The rooms are pretty nice and roomy. To management/corporate: Please, fix the second elevator. How long has it been down so far? Theres no date on the notice and its clearly not a priority for them. The only one elevator is soooo slow you have to wonder if that is getting ready to fail as well. Breakfast is terrible, go out to eat somewhere else. There isnt a restaurant, its just a short bar, counter you order food from. Update the bathroom fixtures, new shower head and why does the water smell like butter?Unfortunately for the money paid per night its not the quality I expected and would not come back here again.
Stayed here multiple times. Always extra clean. Pool is heated. Breakfast is free and includes some pancakes eggs and sausages with all other normal complimentary items. Parking lot is plentiful. Restuarant are less than 2 miles away. Also available is 24 7 room service.
Very average hotel. If you are just looking for a comfortable place to crash after a long day traveling, this is solid. Front desk staff was an over the top fake cheery type, which is certainly better than apathetic. Room itself was a little strange- sink and mirror were *outside* the bathroom which was kind of awkward. The TV was placed so it could be seen from either the bed or the couch, which meant it could not be seen well from either. All that being said, the wifi was pretty good and I had plenty of space to spread out.
Everything about the hotel stay was as expected. If going for sleep only, no problem. If you require a nice breakfast, think twice. The main detractor was from the poor layout of the dining area for breakfast. It felt more like a free-for-all than a meal. The orange juice was from concentrate (no surprise), but another guest astutely noted that it appeared to be mixed with twice the amount of water as normal. On the plus side, the bananas foster with the pancakes was nice.
The hotel is nice. Great breakfast options and near the highway. The gym is decent - nice treadmill and some weights, but the room is small. It worked well enough. Nice-looking pool. Showers are a tiny bit on the small side, but no big deal. Only real complaint is the internet seems slow, but its free WiFi so I cant complain too much. Overall a good place to stay!
This is one place that consistently makes me happy. They have a great selection of seafood and daily fresh fish prepared many different ways. What a great dinner and great service. The wait staff is very professional and always courteous. When we go out for seafood, we go here. One tip Id give is the word is getting out this
The staff here is some of the best. Through my personal interactions as well as those Ive seen, the staff is always present and there to help whatever you need. Staying here is worth them. There are small issues with rooms that are annoying and shouldnt exist at a hotel of this quality. But that not withstanding, the breakfast is generous and tasty.
TL;DR: Disgusting rooms, mediocre front desk staff. My family and I booked a room here based on the stellar reviews as many San Jose area hotels have multiple reviews of dirty rooms. We were hopeful that this was a good place to stay. When we first arrived, there were 3 girls behind the front desk who were helping another customer. One of the girls seemed to be in training, but none of them even greeted me. One girl even looked me dead in the eye and said nothing. We were eventually checked into room 604. After lugging our things up, we were disappointed by the lack of cleaning this room received. There were hairs all over the sheets, pillows, and mattress. Toothpaste residue was on the leg of the sink. The TV mantle was sticky. There was splatter residue on the wall near the headboard of one bed. Figuring it was just a coincidence, we went back downstairs to report our findings. The front desk woman was not very sympathetic, but gave us a new room without any questions.Room 607 was even worse! As soon as we walked in, there was a musty odor in the air. More hair was again found on the sheets. There were numerous black specks on the bottom of the mattresses. Finally, there was some sort of stain on the curtains that had mold growing inside of it. After seeing this, we were through. The front desk staff seemed to be surprised at the conditions of the rooms, and so was the assistant manager. They made it easy to cancel our reservation and refund our money, but that is probably because we booked directly with the hotel. The only positive that really came from this hotel was that they gave my kids a free drink and we ended up staying at the much cleaner Staybridge Suites Silicon Valley-Milpitas for just a little more per night.
The room we were given was quite good, and provided many high quality necessities. The breakfast was also very good. However, the night we had arrived, a black out occurred, preventing us from enjoying many things during the night, such as safe usage of the shower, as well as the tv.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Bar is open late for food and drink. Nice when you get in late and dont want to have to find a restaurant. Breakfast buffet is pretty good (although the hot food was often only warm). Convenient to the highways. Plenty of parking. Rooms were clean and fairly quiet.
First time staying at a Hotel. I did my research and found that this hotel had the least complaints. My whole experience was a very smooth transaction from booking the hotel stay online and arriving at the front desk. I call in hours before arriving and personnel were pleasant to talk to, my husband was arriving first and had no problem adding my husband to the reservations. The room was very spacious for a family of four. The boys took over the living room area (sofa is L-shape and converts to bed) has a desk to do work. I reserved two beds and the beds were in the medium comfort, room had plenty of towels and travel shampoo, conditioner with soap. I had no issue with next door neighbors, didnt hear anyone around. Breakfast hours for weekdays 6:30am- 9am n weekends 7am-10am. They had a variety scrambles eggs, potatoe fajitas, baggels, boil eggs, individual package of cereal, different breads to toast, oatmeal, dry fruit, fresh fruit, yogurt, teas etc... menu changes but theres something for everyone. The area is always been fill with food and clean as people leave there mess behind. Maybe the only tiny complaint is to not let the rooms collect dust, there were some spots that I found to need wiping, like the phone and wood frames. I had a clean room that smell like they had steam the carpet and the bed sheets were whiter than my blankets so thats a plus. I pull the sheets out and bed mattress is well protected from stains and brand new condition, no wonder my bed had layers upon layers of sheets. Overall my first time experience was a very nice stay, staff was very welcoming and polite.
Fast and easy check-in & check-out. Having the World Of Hyatt app is a must. Keeps you up to date on room charges and allows you to check-out without needing to stop at the front desk. This location has a small bar/dining area located in the main lobby. Continental breakfast opens at 6a and full breakfast starts at 6:30a. Nice & clean rooms with flat screen tv, mini fridge, extra mini sink & desk for work. The tv has hookups so you can connect your other media playing devices/computer so you can display using the tv in the room.
Let me start with breakfast, a different meal EVERY DAY!? SIGN ME UP! However the bathroom in our room has separate from the sink and the door came alarmingly close to the toilet. And just the general lack of a sink in the bathroom made me uncomfortable. Also the (lonely) bathroom sink has no tiling around it, considering the fact that people can be messy (and others have kids) makes it, just weird. However all in all its a good place to stay, would recommend.
1. We booked a hotel room for more than a MONTH before arrival and requested HIGH FLOOR AND A QUITE ROOM.But, we got the room on the GROUND FLOOR in the NOISEST PLACE IN THE HOTEL (directly next to the reception and elevator).2. We repeated the abovementioned to the hotel manager, however, no changes happened...3. In the morning during breakfast, we found that all the plates and cups were very dirty, there was garbage in the boiling water tank.We informed the manager, he said SORRY... and did nothing... The situation repeated the next day.Overall, the restaurant premises were very dirty and unsuitable for eating. Im sure 100% that nothing was changed in the hotel after our stay.Overall. We expected a stay at your world-famous and respected hotel to give us pleasure during our trip. In fact, everything turned out to be exactly the opposite. We visited 7 hotels during our trip and we got the worst experience in your hotel. We got the impression that we were in a cheap motel, not in world-known Hyatt.Knowing this, we would never stay at this hotel. Our visit to San Francisco was worsened.
Purchase a room from Priceline. When checking in the front desk mention free breakfast in the morning from 6-9am. I thought ok that’s nice but when I went down the next morning to try out their breakfast I was told that it was not included in my package. They want to charge me an extra $12. No thanks. Funny how they only ask me and no one else that question when I walked in. If they charge extra for breakfast then they should of told me when I checked in not tell me that breakfast will be available and try to charge me extra for it. I wouldn’t have wasted my time going down stairs and having to be stop by a worker just to tell me it’s not included in my package. I would’ve just simply go get my own breakfast somewhere else. Bad experience. Not come back here ever again.
I spent my bday weekend there with my husband and loved it. First of all , when you walk in the scent is sooo lovely. I even had to ask what they used. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and up to date. Location is perfect, close to malls and a lot of restaurants. The pool was heated but not warm enough to take a morning swim. The breakfast was phenomenal, plenty of eggs, hash browns, bacon, pancakes, waffles, fruit, 5 types of drinks. Gotta stay there again
Meets the minimum standards of a tidy, clean, and safe hotel. Though after that, the features start paling in comparison to other hotels at the pricepoint. The pools deepest feet is a mere 5 feet, and the fitness center is laughably tiny. The free earbuds are so poor in quality that giving them out is both inconvenient and unconventional. The room service is decent though. Overall its a nice hotel, but it doesnt really have any features that make goers truly want to stay.
The rooms were spacious and cozy. The only problem I had was that they were missing the blankets that are usually in the cubby by the couch. The volume didnt work in one of our rooms. There was a small selection for the breakfast. Besides that, the rooms were clean and roomy.
This has been my go to hotel whenever I am visiting relatives. Starting to see the wear and tears on this place. Rooms are showing signs of overused and odor. Housekeeping didn’t a bad job for not notifying issues with light bulbs in room. As for the front desk person was unprofessional , didn’t get her name but is an African American. No greetings from her as I approached to check in. She was busy with her iPhone. Besides check in overall it was an ok stay. I cancelled my upcoming stay at this hotel for holiday inn nearby.
Stayed just for one night so I may not be the best judge of the property. Some parts of the carpet were a little dingy, but it was a no frills budget hotel so I cant complain too much. Fitness room is limited, but they give subsidies for use at the gym directly across the hotel. Overall a good experience for the price of just 8000 Hyatt points.
Our usual hotel we booked so we settled on trying the Hyatt for this short business trip, but I boy was I settling before! My king room was like a mini suite, wonderfully laid out and decorated. The bed is a bit firm but I am used to a memory foam mattress. Overall, they sold me! Anytime I need to visit Fremont, Ill be staying here!
The location was really convenient being right over the highway from a bunch of great food. The front desk was nice to talk to and the room was larger than I expected. The entire building looked well maintained and I did not encounter any issues during my one night stay.
The room we got was very clean, but the sound proofing in this hotel wasnt good. Our room was next to the elevator and you can hear EVERYONE, so we afraid they could hear us, too. The staff here were helpful and friendly. Our hot water boiler was broken, so we called the front desk and they replaced it with a brand new one.
My understanding is you only get FREE breakfast if youre a Hyatt loyality member, (join for free) and book the room on their website Hyatt dot com. if you book the room from 3rd party hotel app, you probably dont have free breakfast. the breakfast is quite good. they have oj, milk, scrambed egg, fried ham, waffle, and fruits. my only complain is theres no off button for heater/air conditioning. its auto, low, high fan. if you set it to auto, most of the time its low or high fan blowing wind and making noises.
Hotel and staff unprepared for power outage. Staff was quite rude (unable to handle stress of it all). We were not allowed into hotel. Ended up sleeping in our cars for hours. Finally around 1am they let us into a room still with no power (power plugs, lights, a/c, ect...) until 7am, and still having to pay full price. For only being there less than 8 hours.
I stayed on the fourth floor in a king bed room. The room was clean... Ish. There was a sticky buildup on all the furniture from over use of duster spray. It feels gross if you dont know what it is. My room also was not ready on time. While waiting, I sat and watched the children at the desk flirt and cuddle with each other while my room was being prepped. The food was okay if you like colon cancer an ingestation of class one carcinogens, such as sausage and other processed meat. However if you prefer a more plant based diet, then be prepared to eat bananas and oatmeal.
Theres no place like home, but if you cant stay home stay at the Hyatt!!! This place is truly amaxing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I cant say enough GREAT compliments. I appreciate you and thank you for taking such good care of me and my family. See you again next time
The hotel is awful. The coffee is of very low quality. The breakfast is more than awful. Low quality everything. The eggs are somethign extremely bad smell and artifical. The juices are one of the most low quality juices I ever had. The bakery is more than artifical and awful. It has been degrading from stay to stay. They are extremely lowering the service and taking it to un acceptable levels. I will no longer consider it for my stays neither the business nor the personal trips. The room servoce is getting worse with every consecutive stay, Cannot hate it more.
The room was very nice. But horible customer service. The night we were there they didnt even have a full menu, we were stuck with the bar menu of 5 items. The ice machine didnt work, and the gentalmen in the elevator told me it hasnt worked for over a week. He said he complained everyday about it. The elevator was extremely slow. And the worst part was that for the 1st time we have ever stayed in a hotel, and we stay in them alot, we had a noise complaint. Witch didnt make any sence because we had only been there for 2 hrs and the front desk stated that we had several complaints about expensive noise, not even during quiet hrs. But there were kids running up and down the hallway, they even knocked our sign off the door. There was 2 incidences during quiet hrs where there was alot of noise outside our door. One being at midnight and the other at 2 am. Not happy at all. Will not be staying again.
Have to drive to anything near by. The breakfast is okay, but Ive had better at other chains. The bathroom is small and very tight, but extra living room with couch helps break up the room so you dont feel like youre in the same room the whole stay. Staff is friendly.
One of the nicer Hyatt Places, which usually has the best pricesout of the SF Bay Area Hyatt chain. The AAA & Gov. rates are the best. Not lux, but clean, safe, & hasbig rooms. The rooms are likesmall studio apts.. many witha small frig., sink, dinning table, flat screen TV with HDMI input, and a large coach where onecan sleep or lounge around. Thesleeping / dinning-livingroom areasare divide by the TV & the closet. The shower & toilet are separate. The sink is opposite the bed. TheAC/ Heater is annoyingly loud & rightnext to the bed.Continental Breakfast is included, butegg based meals are extra & need tobe order. The portions are small for themoney, and are not fancy. The food isenough to get you going.Service has been always great at thislocation & they will honor special roomrequests in advance. They go the extramile for Hyatt groupies :)Luggage is all self-service, the pool istiny & not worth getting wet, and thisplace is more oriented to the businesscrowd. There are really no places to eat withinwalking distance, but a short drive willreveal zillions of amazing cheap authenticAsian places to eat within a few miles. They range from Vietnamese to Chineseto Filipino to more. The location is about 1/2 hr. from most SFplaces that you may wish to visit. Whileit is a bit far to go to SF, it is cheap &parking is free.
Stayed here over the weekend. Its a well appointed and clean hotel. Customer service was excellent as well. Only minor complaint is the location was a few minutes further from local amenities than I would have liked, but the price was right so that was not a deal breaker for me.
Horrible Customer service from Michelle at front counter. She did not have the “Hyatt” customer service as I’ve experienced in the past. Michelle was rude and did not care to give customer service from the beginning of our stay nor the people staying next door from us.Finally I had to tell her enough was enough, we are the guests here and her attitude is unacceptable, especially when ruining the image of Hyatt where we have had incredible customer service. This will be forwarded to corporate.
They are nice, but the room can get below 75, my a/c klunks, and there are mirrors in weird places. The room is massive, but the bathroom tiny.I really like Hyatt, but this place sucks.Of course, is in the bay area, so I havnt found better. But solid, non klunky a/c would make it a 3
Room was great A+, but stuff at the front desk was not very profession, and breakfast in the morning was make us upset, they stop serving at 10:00 we got there at 9:30 and by 9:52 light turned off and lady start put everything away, by 9:58 80% food was packed up and we cant take anything anymore, and her attitude was its almost 10:00 get out of here. I didnt appreciate it and I have to take my daughter out to eat coz she came at 9:45. Otherwise as a business trip its ok.
Standard Hyatt Place - rooms, lobby, etc identical to every other Hyatt Place. Nice small area in lobby for breakfast in morning and drinks in evening. Limited options at coverted bar area, no draft beer - only bottles, limited hard liquor - all basic styles, but less brand options.
Everything is the same as you would expect from other Hyatt Place hotels. The gym is rather small and simple but there is a workout facility next door if you want something better and the location is conveniently located as well. The only con that I have never seen at other Hyatt is that speed of the internet. The internet speed is so slow that its sometimes even difficult to just surf the internet. I would say the speed is comparable to that of in-flight wifi, so if you have any conference or fast internet needs while you are staying here, someone should bring their own jetpack or some other alternatives.
I wanted to send accolades to EJ. He is a perfect representation of your brand. He is always willing to help and go the extra mile. He reads the mind of your hotel guests and he makes one heck of a grilled cheese sandwich. He also wears many hats as a chef and a shuttle bus driver. He always does the task with a smile on his face.Bravo EJ!Also, EJ is clearly learning from the example set by the general manager - I am pretty sure he is the one that cleared off my table at breakfast and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. He was hustling this morning.Thank you for always giving me a great experience.
The room: big, nice and clean room The pool: The pool is big and the must was the jacuzzi, it was a pleasant surprise to have one The location: You have a lot of restaurant and fast food at less than 5 min drive The breakfast: AMAZING, they have everything and the home made waffles are just delicious!

2022-01-21I stayed here for 2 weeks for a work trip and it was exactly what I needed. Wifi was fine, hot water plentiful in the shower and spacious room. Loved the work desk and used it every day. The bed was super comfortable, soft with squishy/heavy pillows. My things were not disturbed when cleanings were done. The pool heater was broken upon my arrival so I did not try the outdoor pool. Gym is small and has one bike machine, one elliptical and 2 treadmills. Also some weights and one bench. It could use a sweep in terms of the floor but was otherwise fine. Breakfast is not a buffet right now due to covid so you choose an option from a menu and an employee will hand it to you. You can then eat in your room or take it out with you. There are options like eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt and oatmeal. For drinks there are juices, milks, teas and coffee. I had the same employee help me with breakfast almost every morning and she was the best! She even let me know when my favorite flavors of yogurt came in, thank you Blanca! All desk staff were super friendly and gave me hot water for tea most nights. Staying in a hotel long term for work can really suck but this place made it a lot easier!

2022-05-19Good service overall...except, I didnt get room I reserved for even though I had a confirmation. They were claiming they were fully booked. How is that? When your system confirmed that it was available a week ealier, before my arrival. Make the system show what is truly available and not waiting till the customer arrives to make the change.

2022-06-24After staying at 2 different Hyatt Place in California, we would try to avoid it in the future.1) Charge extra $8 for parking2) Fitness room is very dirty, with dirt all over floor.3) Fitness air conditioning is broken. Temperature set 68 F, but thermostat showing 84. Reported to staff at 6:30pm but was told all maintenance staff were gone. 6:30pm !!If combine point 2 and 3, I realized there probably has no maintenance in Fitness room for days, such that the temperature could raise to 84 with absolutely no cleaning.4) No microwave in the room. First time ever in my 20 years traveling in America that there is no microwave convenience in a major hotel chain. There was only 1 microwave in the lobby. God forbid if it was ever broken like fitness room and no maintenance staff again.Stay here at your own risk!!

2022-05-01Positive: It was clean. Rooms were ok. Negative: You had to pay $8.00 a night for parking. When the hotel in the same lot was free. Water pressure in shower went from zero to ok several times during the shower. A/C was next to bed and noisy. No microwave in room. Shower too small& cramped.

2022-04-25Hyatt Place was a great surprise.Conveniently located between the 680 and 880 freeways off the Mission Blvd exit.Approximately 25 minutes away from the San Jose Airport. The hotel can accommodate reservations both online and by phone.AAA discounts are available as well as Gold level Hyatt members.Newly added is an $8 parking fee.Amenities include fast/free wifi, swimming pool, meeting room, computer/printer, bar with sample menu items like burgers, sandwiches and salads.Theres a hot breakfast (7am to 10) included with your stay.Eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles/pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, bagels/toast, yogurt, coffee/juice.The rooms are surprisingly spacious.I recommend the king bed size roTV.The bed mattress was firm but the pillows were clumsy, not soft and somewhat uncomfortable. The room includes full size sofa bed, coffee bar/sink, desk, mini fridge, large screen tv.The shower had high water pressure and I stayed on the top floor (7).I have to comment on the staff. At check in I was greeted warmly but not overdone. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. In my opinion the staff can make or break my stay and I was pleased with satisfaction.I recommend this hotel for a business trip or for families. rg-

2022-05-26It was the perfect spot near our event (only 5 minutes away if that!!!!!!), perfect room, perfect service. It is a beautifully decorated (seems perhaps renovated maybe maybe not). First and foremost, I would like to thank the staff. They went above and beyond and were so incredibly friendly. We had a very long journey (about 6 hours) and we had arrived early. I was concerned because we had to rest, refresh and get ready before tha nights event. However, luckily as I explained our situation to the front desk person at that time, he right away searched to see if there any available rooms then and he said Is it okay if its on the 1st floor? I told him at that point I did not really even care!!! lol and perhaps it was a better option, as it actually turned out to be. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a mini bar/with sink area and hotel fridge which was helpful when we bought snacks to have in the room. It is definitely worth mentioning that the staff were very helpful in several occasions. Again, 1st when the receptionist was able to check us in early. But also, I had asked for a luggage cart and they couldnt find them since other ppl were using them. He saw me waiting and then said Come on! I will help you with your luggage . After that, when we returned to the hotel that night, we had purchased some food at the local market that needed reheating. I figured itd go to waste. I asked if they had a microwave and she said Of course! And pointed to the breakfast room/area. Fyi..They have a bar across the breakfast room with Starbucks coffee and other assortments. Also, the same receptionist was very helpful later on when I asked if they had a bottle opener and disposable cutlery. I felt as though I was already being too much asking a lot but she kept the same tone throughout and she said Of course! And handed me the bottle opener and disposable cutlery. I was so glad she did bc we were able to not let the food go to waste. Later after, I returned to return the bottle opener and the next receptionist on shift said to keep it and bring it back in the morning!!! 😊🥺 so so sweet!!!!!! Also, lol I went back to the front desk to ask for ice and was told the machines are in the upler floors but since I was on the 1st floor, that she would get it for me from the kitchen (even though it was closed!!!!). We are talking late at night so that was super sweet of her as well. Honestly, everyone here has been very sweet, friendly and super helpful. Many thanks to the staff and hope to be back this way soon. I will definitely stay there again!!!!!! 🙂👍PS The breakfast offered quite a few options for many different tastes and likes which was nice. I saw coffee, cereal, grains, juices, eggs boiled and scrambled, potatoes, bacon, ham, bagels, toasts fruits, oatmeal, teas, etc, etc, etc. And also, they have staff who were cleaning/spraying/desinfecting constantly as people moved out of the breakfast area. It was nice to see how diligent they were ensuring the table and area were clean. Def 🙂👍(sorry for any typos. Typing this on the fly and on the go lol).

2022-03-18Positive: Location and parking. Negative: I had booked a king bed suite but on arriving they said the hotel is booked and I could only get a double bed suite. I was traveling with family and kid and this last minute change was very difficult for us to manage.

2022-01-23Great location, close to many companies in the east bay area. Hotel is clean and fairly priced, due to COVID, room was cleaned every 4 days. Hot breakfast is as usual.
