I cant give you a zero? Worst customer experience in my adult life. Let me just sum up my experience for you. Months of waiting. Do not waste your time seeking service from this company, they only want to sell new hot tubs. Dennis, Claudia, the daughter in law, the son...I have dealt with them all. I am surprised they have a business, let alone are successful. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.Run Forrest, run...dont spend money here.

Our search for a spa began online with the intent of saving a few dollars, but after reading reviews of online delivery nightmares, we wanted to speak with a reputable dealer. We visited two spa dealers in Bakersfield and Hot Tubs Plus had the type of spa we wanted, and we found their customer service to be excellent - a benefit of a family owned and operated business. We found Hot Tubs Plus so helpful in explaining options, how to coordinate electricity, delivery, installation, etc. Zero pressure to buy.When we found our spa and discussed timing of delivery, we were given the parts necessary to have the electrical completed in advance, which made the morning installation go smoothly, and the spa was ready for a night time soak.Every single person from Hot Tubs Plus was courteous, helpful, responsive, and intent on customer satisfaction. Rarely have I seen an installation crew (ours took a few more people due to a more complex installation - see photos) shake my hand and introduce themselves on arrival and shake my hand again after completion. They also made sure every little thing was put back or cleaned up. White glove service start to finish.We are loving it!
We purchased the Sundance spa in September 2019. The delivery went very smooth and we were very pleased with the placement of the spa within the confined space. Over the course of the past 15 months we had two minor issues with the spa (Sundance) which were quickly addressed by Hot Tubs Plus. We have nothing but praise regarding the sell, delivery, and service of the spa.

Started looking for a new jacuzzi in July with Hot Tubs Plus Bakersfield Store, gathering pricing on Hot Spring Spas so we could save $ for the purchase. Checked in again with this business in September and made decision to purchase in October after the Kern County Fair and Home Show events they were busy with! The owners were attentive to what we were seeking and guided us perfectly to the best spa to meet our needs which was the Hot Spring Limelight Series BEAM Spa! Worth every penny! The owners worked hard with us to get us what we wanted. Delivery and setup was amazing! We are so glad that we made a decision to buy a hot tub from Hot Tubs Plus. Claudia was beyond helpful answering our questions when we were making our decision, and she did not pressure us at all. There were some glitches with getting everything together with the electric. Claudia helped coordinate It even though it was not her responsibility to do so because it had nothing to do with Hot Tubs Plus. The delivery was very easy and professional. The spa is amazing and everything that we were looking for and more. Claudia even checked in after delivery to make sure everything went okay. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and customer service provided by this company. Its also family owned, which is a bonus because buying from them means you support a local business. If you are in the market for a hot tub, you do not need to look anywhere else. They are amazing, and I know that we are in good hands if we have any issues in the future.
Everyone we spoke to was very helpful, from helping us choose our spa, to plaving our order, and delivery and installation. Claudia kept us posted on when the hot tub would be delivered. The men who delivered and installed it were very careful of our landscaping, did a great job, cleaned up when they were finished, and showed us how to care for our new hot tub. I highly recommend Hot Tubs Plus.

I purchased my Hot Springs Spa from here a couple months back, my experiences at Hot Tubs Plus have been nothing short of fantastic! The customer service is TOP NOTCH! They genuinely care about the customer and continue to do so after the sale! I went in to purchase a spa, I was greeted and treated with a friendly welcoming attitude. I was shown the different options and explained what the advantages of each unit were, I should add that I am in sales so I was very pleased with the service. They had scheduled my delivery on a Wednesday, when an earlier opening came up they moved my delivery ahead which was super!At the delivery of my spa I was told that if I have any questions on the maintenance of it to bring a sample of the water and they would test it and tell me what I needed. Today I walked in at 15 minutes until they closed and they happily showed me what I needed for my spa. As I was leaving the owner reminded me that I had her cell number and if I had any questions (regarding the chemicals I needed to treat my spa) to text her!! TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Hot Tubs Plus has 100% exceeded my expectations at every interaction, I will always do business with them and I absolutely recommend anyone looking for a spa or anything related visit them! I found Hot Tubs Plus online and requested service for an old Hot Springs spa that was left at a home I recently purchased. Although their tech was busy for the next week, they accommodated my request that same morning because the tech was “relatively” close to my home in Arvin! The shop followed up with me soon afterward with an estimate for repairs, and even though the spa was repairable, replacement sounded like a better option to me for my approx. 25 year old spa. I visited Hot Tub Plus the following weekend and left a deposit to purchase a new Jetsetter spa.The removal of the old and delivery of the new spa worked out very smoothly, and they accommodated my schedule again regarding the delivery date. The installer Cody and his helper showed up a few minutes early (sorry I left you waiting at the gate). He explained in detail and showed me how to operate and maintain the spa. I visited the Hot Tub Plus about a month later with a water sample. Dennis helped me right away and told me exactly what was needed to properly balance the chemicals.My experience with a total of 5 staff members from Hot Tub Plus has been top notch starting the day I first called. Great folks!

We really chose the right place to get a hot tub from. It really is a local, family ran and owned business. Claudia really listened to what both my husband and I wanted for a hot tub, and did not push or pressure us at all, which is very hard to find. The employees are really nice and very professional. They sell the chemicals and accessories also, which makes it so easy to obtain the items needed for our hot tub. Long story short, Claudia has been there for us and is such an outstanding person; it just goes to show there really are good people out there. They have earned a lifelong customer and Im very happy to do business with them!

We had a great experience with hot tubs plus. Dennis answered all my questions right there in the showroom and I knew right then what I wanted. The swim spa that we selected is fantastic. Dennis told me what to expect, put us in touch with an electrician and a concrete guy and a crane and we had our hot tub installed in about 8 weeks. Hot tubs plus checked in with us and has helped us maintain it too. We love our swim spa!

My husband and I have been wanting to purchase another hot tub after having one at our last home. We did a lot of research! When we are going to spend thousands of dollars on something we want quality, competitive pricing and good customer service from the company we are purchasing from. We definitely found that at Hot Tubs Plus! Claudia and her husband Dennis are a dynamic duo! She informed us of the differences in the brands and models they sell and helped us make that final decision on which one was right for us. We went with the Sundance Optima. We love it! I wasn’t sure we would be able to use it in the hot Bakersfield summer months but we have. Usually 3-5 evenings a week. WOW is it relaxing after a busy day of work. Dennis is very knowledgeable about care and servicing your hot tub as he has been in the pool care business for many years. He delivered and set up our spa in no time and even came back to replace a faulty circuit breaker that our electrician had put in. He didn’t have to do that he just wanted us to enjoy our new spa as soon as possible! Who knows how long it would have taken to get our electrician back out. If you are considering getting a hot tub this is the place to purchase it! Claudia and Dennis are honest and all around good people to do business with!

Absolutely amazing….from the very beginning…the original salesman was extremely helpful choosing the right tub after we discussed my need(back neck pain) and just my wife and I usage for the right tub size…they handled the pre-installation electrical 220 need…they came out TWICE to be sure I had the best choice for my needs and to check on pre-installation concerns I had…on installation day they were right on time …very careful and neat…and the installers were extremely knowledgeable in answering questions…Great Tub…Great owner …Great staff… GREAT STORE … just nice people to deal with….
I had issues with another Local business who took my card info and gave me the run around for ordering a Spa XL heater. Said it was ordered and then wouldn’t answer phones and ended up never being ordered.Furthermore I met Claudia at Hot Tubs Plus and she got my model number & part number and had my heater to me within 4 days. Only because it was over a weekend or would have had it sooner. A++ Customer service & very friendly. Everything taken care of In a timely professional manner. Full Disclosure: I know NOTHING about spa heaters! My spa heater broke down and needed wires repaired and an igniter. I went to the shop and Claudia (very nice lady) had the part within an hour...still wouldnt work. Hot Tubs Plus came out and found the Thermistor was bad. No problem. Hot Tubs Plus had THAT part installed within an hour or so and the heater is 100%. As a comparison, Trevor from Cool Pools had come out a few days before and tried to sell me a new heater for about $2800. nuff said.Thanks Claudia and everyone at Hot Tubs Plus, youre the best!!

We bought a hot tub from them a few years ago and been very happy with it and them. The hot tub was here when they said it would be, they were very punctual with the install , and very helpful with all the questions we had.

We bought a CalSpa through Hot Tubs Plus at a home show in Bakersfield. They were very knowledgeable and could answer all of our question. We had no problems getting them to deliver in Tehachapi. They even came back to adjust placement after delivery. They were on time, efficient, and made sure everything was just how we wanted it.

2022-05-11About a couple of months, we purchased a Cal Spa from Hot Tubs Plus. Around February 2022, Monji had just completed our backyard garden, and we installed a concrete pad for a hot tub installation. We love Monji due to their quality of work and hands-off process. We asked Monji for a recommendation on where to get a hot tub in town and mentioned that the guys at Hot Tubs Plus are honest and told us to check it out. So, we did.Upon arriving at the warehouse, we were greeted by a friendly front desk. Then we were escorted to the back, where they had all kinds of hot tubs to choose from. With us was Dennis, showing us the tubs and giving us a tour. The entire time we were with him, we never felt pressure to buy. He was actually giving more of an educational and informative talk so you can make a sound and education purchase that suits your need. Being in the business myself, I found that refreshing. When someones focused on solving our problem (in this case, we were looking for a specific hot tub, but I just dont know what specs were right for us), they will not need to sell to us; we will buy. And thats what we did! Thats how we felt with Dennis (problem solver and not just seller).Delivery was smooth and on time. Delivery associates were friendly yet professional, and we couldnt be any happier with our purchase. Were on 3 months and about to change the water. We highly recommend Hot Tubs Plus for your hot tub needs. Show up, tell them what youre looking for - and Dennis will provide you with the highest-value recommendations rather than the highest-priced products. 2020-09-21If you are looking for a Hot Tub then this should and will be your only place to purchase. They are a family owned business and all have the highest customer service. Owner, Claudia will personally understand what you are looking for and take you through what will best fit your needs. When you make the decision to buy, she will ensure everything is handled to include your delivery date. She will be in contact with you up to and after your delivery and setup. We absolutely love our new Bullfrog A8 spa and it far exceeds our expectations.
