Dropped way too much money here, but I have absolutely NO regrets & would have loved to spend more if my budget would allow it. Absolutely exquisite store, filled to the brim with beautiful artisan made goods, and of course, iconic Holly Yashi jewelry straight from the source. Customer service is top notch, they packaged & labeled every item with care as their standard bagging protocol, but theyll also gift wrap it if youd like. The folks running the register were delightful & knowledgeable & made us hot bevs for the road. You can take a tour here for free. Cant get a much better jewelry purchasing experience if you ask me.
Love this store!! Bought this set of rings the other day I’m in love!! The store is amazing the jewelry is spectacular when you walk in they offer you a beverage. They have something for everyone they even offer a tour of the jewelry making process! Will definitely be coming back and adding more pieces to my collection!!

Beautiful jewelry, exceptionally friendly owners and clerks, who provide help without hovering. Even though we missed the tour of the whole operation, they still showed the coloring process. I was pleasantly surprised to find pieces I loved in my fairly low price range.

I love this place! Had never owned any of their jewelry until about 4 years ago when my hubby and grandson bought me some earrings. I recently came in and bought a grab bag! 🥰
I have bought dozens and dozens of pieces from them over the years & was a very loyal customer, spreading the word. I purchased several of their pearl & earrings necklaces in various colors recently (Julianna) for myself and for gifts...and the pearls are falling off. In the past they always took care of any problems quickly and were eager to please the customer. I felt very taken care of. I have to say the representatives I spoke to on the phone this past month were lukewarm in terms of dealing with the problem. They said they would send a replacement and it never arrived. I called back today and they offered to resend it (lets see if it happens) and gave me very perfunctory responses. I am rethinking my loyalty because I was left feeling like they dont care much. This might be the last piece I buy. I hope whoever deals with customer service reads this and talks to their reps.Addendum: The management immediately contacted me to apologize and sent me a gift & a replacement item. This is the service I am used to...on their way back to 5 stars

Pretty poor treatment of in store customers. Been there many times to buy jewelry. Today they would gladly allow shopping, but not use of their restroom. Ended up having to drive several blocks to use another businesses restroom that they directed me to. Other businesses have their bathrooms open, why not Holly?

My niece took me for breakfast and a tour of Downtown Arcata. After we walk and showed me the “Dairy” district and the Holly Yasmi Factory and Store. What a wonderful place. In the store we were graciously meet by Ms. Kristin. She told us about the factory and showed us the store. I am very impressed by the beautiful jewelry and items that Holly Yashi has to offer. My niece told me that she purchased a birthday gift for her sister there. I can see why!! I will buy a birthday gift card for my niece.Thank you Ms. Kristin for you time and conversation.Oscar G.

Great Shopping Experience! One is greeted at the door by the supremely friendly staff and an offer of a beverage. Staff explains where things are and provides guests with lined trays to place items you may be interested in. As this location also houses Holly Yashis design, assembly, manufacturing, shipping, etc. facility, the selection of goods is tremendous -- Everything in their current lines, one of a kind items, and vintage designs are available. If you are looking for a particular item, color or design, just ask the helpful staff. Your purchases are carefully wrapped in beautiful gift bags and come with a card explaining the companys story. Prices range from about $20 on up. If one has time, be sure to take a tour of the facility. You learn about the companys origins, growth and see first hand how these beautiful creations are made. If you are into jewelry, it is a great way to spend an afternoon while visiting Arcata and the greater Humboldt area.
DO NOT BUY THEIR MYSTERY BOX!! IT IS A BIG RIPOFF ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE ARE NO RETURNS! I ordered it, and was sent 3 pairs of virtually the same earrings. Same color, same design (feather). Only difference was size. When I posted my review, the only thing customer service had to say, was that the items were non-returnable, and suggest that I give them away as gifts. Seriously?!! That is NOT good customer service.
I return time and time again, alone and with friends and guests from out of town. Holly and her team offer the best customer service. Their unique designs are amazing. If you are visiting the area please take a moment to stop by and have a “Holly Yashi” experience. Take the tour, enjoy a coffee or some tea. If you are local don’t forget there are right in your own back yard. They also have a great selection of clothing and other fun items. I highly recommend a stop here.
I love Holy Yashi products. I was greeted and asked if I wanted an espresso drink or cold drink as I explored. Im so grateful for the excellent service received! It was fun to see them making the jewelry. I highly recommend this place.

The jewelry is beautiful to look at, BUT one pair of “silver” earrings I purchased tarnished immediately— and no silver cleaner/polish would fix it. I did get the earrings replaced by the company, so kudos to them for that but here’s where I have to knock a star or two off of my review... the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I now only use their catalog to show to my husband for the “guess how much THIS costs?!” game. Expect to pay for semi-precious stones and metal prices (aka $200+ for a necklace and often ~$100 earrings).

Amazing store with so many beautiful items! Their jewelry is the star of the show, of course, but there is so much to see! You can watch people make the jewelry and enjoy a Free cappuccino while you do. Their coffee is the bomb! Thanks for being one of the best stores in Arcata!

Huge factory & excellent jewelry displays and gift store. We were greeted and offered tea, cappuccino, or water. Met the artist Holly, who comes in every day to oversees & designs all! We got a factory tour. The selections were amazing & this is a great shop.
Have loved Holly Yashi jewelry for years and had the opportunity to take a tour. Ellen did an amazing job explaining the process. It gave me a new appreciation for my jewelry. After the tour you can browse their products with no pressure. Ellen was available to answer questions and help find what I needed. It was a fun experience and Id highly recommend it when your are in Arcata, California.
Some of their products are cool, the jewelry is gaudy and I guess if you want to look like you’re on the cast of The Real Housewives of A Midwest trailer park then by all means this is your store. The staff is ridiculous, rude, intrusive, I’m assuming it’s a not a commissioned based job.
Beautiful jewelry with creative styling to boost any wardrobe. We were offered cappuccino and tea as we strolled around the showroom with velvet lined trays provided to carry our selections. First class style with an artisan touch. I could have stayed for hours, but we were on to our next adventures.
This is such a charming boutique with beautiful custom made jewelry, shawls, handmade soaps, creative gifts, and accessories of all kinds. Such a gem to find. And their staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful too.We are visiting the area and decided to elope here. Holly Yashi helped me customize several items for the ceremony and I purchased the cutest gifts to give my daughter for the week leading up to the big day.We consider this a must stop and shop place in Arcata!Thank you Holly Yashi for EVERYTHING!

This place is SO much fun to go shopping in. Love the complimentary late or coffee! Definitely recommend. Also, right around the corner is a small Cider company- complete the Holly Yashi experience with a little bit of fine cider! A+
Recently purchase the Elara necklace when we were on a trip to Mendocino, CA and regretted not buying any matching earrings. So when I got home I ordered the Gardenia earrings and they just arrived! They are so beautiful! I just love all the pieces and plan to have a nice collection in the future! Truly beautiful well crafted and unique jewelry at a very affordable price! Love it!
I had a great time visiting the studio/store. My husband told me to take my time and that he would wait in the car. A staff member (who happened to look like a fashion model) delivered a complementary latte and chocolate to the car. I had plenty of time to pick out the perfect pair of Holly Yashi earrings. We totally laugh about it when we talk about that trip.
I love to visit their store whenever I am in town. I not only love their jewelry but enjoy the additional items that complement their jewelry so nicely. I also like that you can wander over and see folks working on making jewelry during the week.
I bought a Holly Yashi bracelet from a jeweler in Folsom. It was a Celebration bracelet, very colorful and fun but rather pricey. I wore it one night, the night I bought it, to dinner at a buffet type restaurant. When leaving, I glanced at my wrist and it was gone. I searched the busy restaurant but never found it. I believe the clasp or one of the links was defective so it just literally fell off without me realizing. I contacted the company directly and they didnt want to replace it. I wont buy this brand again because they dont back their product. I have never lost a bracelet before, and I lost this one the very day I bought it!
I absolutely LOVE Holly Yashi. Every single time I visit Arcata California I have to stop in and never leave without a pair for myself and my mother, she has over 50 pairs. The ladies there are so welcoming offering something to drink when you arrive hot tea, coffee, cappuccino and even hot chocolate for little ones that may be with you. They answer any questions you may have and have a huge selection to choose from. You will never go wrong stopping in here even if its just to have something beautiful to look at.
Something of an institution that might have sold out. Good parking outside to visit what is essentially the factory shop. However there is so much stuff and people it is hard to see. Holly Yashi the jewellery is very good stuff all made on the premises but the shop is a cavernous confusing assortment of touristy stuff. I ended up buying Holly Yashi gifts at the airport.

The owners and staff treat you like family. They are so nice and caring and are passionate about the amazing and unique artistic jewelery that they create. We stop whenever we are in town and my wife always comes up with something that puts a big smile on her face! It is a must visit if you come through Arcata.

Loved my visit to the store and continued to place online orders. I recently requested a repair and my request was declined with no explanation. Perhaps Holly Yashi is now consumer based, not customer based? Unsubscribed to emails - will buy local from artists that will accommodate repairs.
When I moved to the bay area, on an adventure in Marin, I stumbled across this jewellery & immediately fell in love! Had to buy a pair of earrings & long since lost one. On drive up to redwood national park saw many roadside signs & told my BF we MUST stop there. Upon arrival were greeted with may I get you a cappuccino or tea. The displays are incredible like you walked into a different land. Met the owner herself.....continued to ask my self where are we, cause we sure dont get service like this in the bay area! Loved that you could watch them making the stuff in the back studio! Staff recomeded great cider place around the corner! Love my new earrings!
So many wonderful pretty things to look at they give tours at I believe 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. of the jewelry making part the store they have wonderful gifts reused materials that are turned into beautiful chandeliers must go in and see everything I will definitely be going back

I was very upset with the manner in which my catalog purchase was handled. I wanted to get my daughter a necklace which, on both the website and in the catalog, was indicated to b e $80. A promotion was also noted that if I used Joy17 at checkout, I would receive a 20% dicscount.I placed my order, entered the code, and at the final checkout, I read, $10-20% = $80. I was angry because the price had been inflated so I would pay $80 no matter what promotion was available. I looked through the entire catalog and website and found no fine print about original cost or anything similar.This is a poor way to build customer relations.

I learned from Holly Yashi last year. I love the niobium metal, the nature inspired themes, the colors, etc. This year I wanted to buy a new pair, but the shop I went to buy them at were out of them. Fortunately, while doing a road trip on the north coast of California, and after being amazed by the redwoods, and just by pure luck, I saw their ad on the side of the road, so we went back and explored the store Sadly, it was a saturday and the design studio was closed, but I was able to check it anyway from the distance. Love the collection, earrings, bracelets. necklaces, etc. Their online shop is a must for those who live far away :-)Of course, I left the store the proud owner of a new silver pair of earrings, a shiny hair clip, and who knows what else if would have more time to explored the entire shop!

2022-02-05The store us cute and the jewelry is well made. Everything is well displayed and easy to access. The little trinkets are fun too, but everything also seems very high priced. I can find similar items with the same materials at a lower cost, and the same goes for some of the name brands in the store.Moreover, the atmosphere is something to be desired. The entire store feels very sterile and initially you hardly want to breathe in fear of damaging the products. The staff also seemed to look over myself and my friends in favor to the older looking women. Im sure they expect older people to buy more considering that they probably have more money, but to overlook a core demographic seems rather silly to me. It just doesnt feel welcoming for college age kids even though its in a college town. I think it could benefit from a more welcoming and less stiff environment.

2022-06-23Cutest store I have ever been in. I didnt have time to do the tour but I got gifts for several people to cover the next year. They have something for everyone, and I dont feel like the prices are that bad. The service was AMAZING. They offered to wrap the gifts and drew pictures on sticky notes so I knew what was in each one. (They did this without asking, its like she knew my memory is horrible.) This is a store I talked about after I got back home, I was visiting the Eureka area for work, and cant wait to visit again the next time Im there!

2022-05-17The earrings I ordered were even more beautiful than pictured. They were a little expensive, but the craftsmanship is supreme and the design is exquisite. They were my end-of-school year gift to myself and I couldnt be more pleased!

2022-05-11I bought a beautiful set while I was on the Big Island at Sassafras. The Mykonos necklace & earrings. I have received so many compliments on them when I wear them. I love that I can dress them up or be casual.I absolutely love this set. ❤️ I cant wait to visit the store in Arcata.

2022-06-17We had a lot of fun there. The store has lots of nice items, which seemed fairly reasonably priced. We also went on the factory tour. It was interesting and informative.The people there are really very friendly.

2022-05-04I shopped at Holly Yashi for 20 years. I bought gifts and jewelry and posted their card on my building bulletin board to share their story.Their accountant(s), Nick, did some manipulating of my credit cards and without notification and caused a big problem.I bought 2 pet tags and one fell off of the frame. Julia told me too bad even though I thought the maker would want to know to prevent other people from the problem.They no longer have wonderful Moe and Jody in customer service ... now Helena and Julia UGH!So now I am banned from shopping even though I reached out to Holly and Paul.Today they refused me to purchase a gift for my 93 yr. old Mother.20 years of supporting them on multiple levels.I am waiting for the heartfelt apology.Nancy DeSandolo
