Horrible hotel!!! My husband and I checked in late since we attended a funeral viewing service. The room was okay size. We took a shower and we fell asleep. We woke up about 3am to an awful mildew, mould smell!!! We called front desk and they said no other rooms were available. So we shut the bathroom door and didnt opened it at all for the rest of our stay. We complained when we checked out and they seemed to know about the issue. But they dont care about fixing it. I would NOT EVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN!!
Typical Hampton in that everything was very good: clean, great Wi-Fi, superb hot breakfast. Especially appreciated the great check-in service by Josh. The grounds are also well-kept as in the morning the maintenance crew cleaned up trash left in the parking lot by discourteous guests.
This is a nice hotel with a good location. The room was nice and the staff were quite accommodating. The breakfast did not disappoint. While I wasnt expecting luxury, the only thing keeping this from 5 stars was the cleanliness of the grounds. Its a turn off to see the same trash in the parking lot across two days. And to see a watermelon tossed down a stairwell... Just have a staffer walk around the site every hour and these things would be handled.
Got here late on a road trip. The first room the sheets had black things that looked like droppings. We called around and it was too late to check into any other hotel so we asked for a new room and those sheets had an area that had something wet that dried crusty. Very bad experience.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Bakersfield provided a very nice stay for my family and I. While passing through we decided to pull into the Hampton in to get some rest and everything was very pleasant. Checking in was a breeze and parking was plentiful as well. We got a room with a king bed and the restroom was quite large as well. I would also like to mention the water pressure as it was perfect!
I enjoy Hampton hotels but this one is a bit outdated. I am ok with older amenities but this place definitely needs upgrades. Its off the highway but far from any restaurants. There is a Dennys next door but after that just smaller fast food places. Its Bakersfield so cant ask for much just wish it was closer to restaurants. One positive is the staff is very nice and helpful. I will try another hilton hotel next time in the area but overall not to bad a place just not as nice as others I have stayed at recently.
Evening front desk staff was very courteous and welcoming. Couldnt open my blackout all the way. The screen was stuck shut. The bed looked as if it wasnt made well. Some strains on the sheets and not completely sure they are clean. There was black stuff growing under the toilet rim. Morning front desk staff was not friendly or helpful. Wont be back.
I didnt actually stay here, my wife naviagted us to the wrong hotel. But I was very impressed with the quality of the lobby and community areas. The hotel looked very nice. And the desk clerk was very helpful when it came to redirecting us to the right hotel, and she would have transfered our reservation over had they not just booked the last available room to the guys in line before us. Missed it by that much.
We stayed 2 nights. The first night the room was great everything clean and fresh. We had to change rooms on the second night and couldn’t check in until after 6:30. The room was horrible. As soon as we walked in my shoes were slightly sticking to the floor but in front of restroom I actually stuck to the floor and the counters showed the wipe marks from the rag used. Went to the front desk but since housekeeping was gone the room couldn’t be cleaned again. So I had to do it myself. Plus as of today we still have not received out $20. a night room key deposit back and it’s been over a month. I would of expected since we had a suite we might of gotten at the least a small discount for the condition of the room but nothing was given or offered. They have beautiful rooms the beds are comfortable but the lack of consideration is what tells me to never stay there again and to tell others NOT to stay there
Very very nice place rooms are extra clean smell great staff is attentive BUT ...way way too over priced even when its obvious that they have a tons of vacant rooms like wouldnt they want to fill up rooms by Dr bring the slow times having like weekday rates? I dont know I would if it was my hotel
The quality of this hotel is getting worse from week to week that I am staying here. Towels are dirty, rooms are not cleaned. The beds have stains on the blankets and pillows. What is so hard to inspect towels if they are cleaned ?If not that the hotel is close to my job I will never ever stay here. Please stay in a different hotel if possible. Why is it so hard to clean rooms ????
We asked for a one night stay and a double Bed room and they were quick to give it to us. Staff was very nice and during the night you couldn’t hear a single thing in or out of the room. The breakfast was great, so much to choose from. I will definitely stay here again.
The reservations lady was very good at her job, she could slip in the savings and benefits of their AMEX member program at a funeral. So with her persistence we got through the savings and Benefits of the AMEX member program no less than 6 times, reserved a room for that night in the middle of a sand storm, through a language minor barrier in a record time of 30min on the phone with a poor connection.... The room was nice, no breakfast.
Someone who has never really until the recent couple of years been able to get motel rooms that were not the cheapest kind that there was available and usually not even that is what I can afford, but I do say Hampton is my favorite I love the Hampton Inn. To be fair though, there are no hyatts in this town so I dont know the comparison... There is however another good one that Ive been to but I didnt get the room myself and its the residence Inn with the full suite. Thats really sweet pun intended. Love the Hiltons
Truck was parked right in front of lobby and was broken into - windows broken - all items stolen. Lady at office was not helpful nor manager in reviewing cameras or even giving us info of what to do! The thieves must know the procedure with the hotel and then jump on the highway ! Do NOT stay here they don’t secure their guests with security or help at all!
My family and I stayed here 3 nights. We were treated like we didnt belong by the guy at the front desk. On top of that we got wolked in on by house keeping everyday Noone knocked on the door at all and last thing I she was night guard but every time she walked my way she had to ask do you have a room here mind you she walked pass me about 6 times and I told her and showed her my room key.
Vehicle burglarized in the parking lot. Traveling through town towing a small enclosed trailer which was locked up. Parked our vehicle in the hotel parking lot overnight. Next day saw that the locks had been cut off of the trailer, items were taken, and doors left ajar. There was a hotel security guard, not sure what he was doing all night. Besides the damage and theft of property, the rooms was nice and clean. Stay at your own risk I guess.
Stayed for a two day stay room was exceptionally clean.Staff was friendlyThe young man haemin at the front desk is very helpful and Brooke K was very knowledgeable and kind as well. They extended my stay and matched the price I got from a third party website. Isaiah who I assume is manger and the staff are great. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend to any one lookingfor a clean hotel.
We stayed here about a week ago. The lobby and rooms were beautiful and clean. We had a great, comfortable stay. Isaiah at the front desk was friendly and helpful. He recommended some of his personal favourites for restaurants, and dinner did not disappoint! We would definitely stay again. Breakfast was much better than the other hotels at which we had been staying.
After a long drive I would think spending close to $200 a night would be a safe stay silly was I to not look more into the reviews but not paying attention to a town because of being completely exhausted from driving this is what happened to me during my stay at a higher priced hotel! Be Aware I got thousands of materials stolen from me out of my truckDue to moving I had a lot on me and I can’t take everything I’m moving with into hotel with me I was hoping maybe just maybe since it was more priced hotel it’d be nicer but nope watch out my whole window got shattered and whole truck bed broke into
After numerous conversations, wasting hours of my time and receiving numerous assurances my credit card, which I checked in with would not be charged, once they received the company credit card correct info, which they did next day, guess what happened? Those pending charges did become actual charges and I was told I had to speak to my bank because they couldnt reverse them. Goodbye another 45 minutes of my day.My stay was 5 days and it has been 5 days since I checked out. So 10 days and Im still trying to get this handled.Numerous conversations with front desk and numerous phone calls.Oh, yeah. They dont let you know theres no room service unless you ask for it.Were they friendly? Yes. Competent at what one might think every day desk duties? Not so much.
I have stayed here on multiple occasions. It is clean and close to the freeway and food. The value is great. The free breakfast is awesome. They have a good selection to choose from. Free hot coffee tea and or hot chocolate. The rooms come with microwaves and mini fridges. The rooms are up to date. The spa has been broken the last couple times I stayed. The pool is ok. Other than that this place is awesome.
Beds are nice, rooms are ok. Location is good for travelers. I woke up at 3am by a bug crawling on my face. I am not sure where it came from. I told the receptionist. We are in the middle of a pandemic, therefore breakfast came in a doggie bag and gym closed. I think for the roughly 100 bucks, they can do better.
This is a nice enough place and the check in was very warm and friendly. The only problem I have is that my air conditioner really seems to be struggling. Its been running for many hours and the room is still 75. It was 78 when I arrived. Other than that its pretty good here.
This was my first time here. It is located right off of the 178 Fwy at Weedpatch Hwy. It is kind of locked down because of Covid. But the clerks were very nice. The overall cleanliness of the lobby, halls and elevator were pretty good. It is a nice clean place! There was a decent coffee maker. Fridge with seperate ice box. Microwave. An iron and board. A good hair dryer. Nice Soaps and Body Wash. There were 4 big clean white towels with the same number of hand towels and wash cloths. The bedding was very comfortable! Big flat screen with three HBOs. Dennys is right across the parking lot. It was a good one night stay. You have everything you need right there. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
Everything there was average. I did like the clean rooms and breakfast dinning area. The breakfast attendant was very rude. I asked her for some margarine and she said there was not any.. But the other attendant came out and gave me some. I asked the older breakfast attendant for help with the waffle maker, she was rude and rolled her eyes. If she doesn’t like her job she should find work elsewhere are retire.
CAUTION! to the person who chooses to stay here. We had our stuff stolen out of our truck. The hotel claimed the had security running the grounds that night, but he wouldnt tell me much. I had to keep prying before he gave me information about their security. He also wouldnt answer my ohone calls when I found out about it, then never returned my calls next business day. I had to call again until he spoke with me.They did comp my room. I leave at least two stars because of this reason. That, and the rest of the hotel is what you would expect of Hampton hotels. Clean, good breakfast, friendly staff (except GM).
The rooms are clean, with room to move around and well stocked with plenty of towels, microwave and fridge. Be sure to have $200 cash for deposit or the same on your bank or credit card or you will be sent away. That was almost the end of my trip. The lady at the front desk was very nice about it though as I transferred some money around.
Room was large and clean. Good lighting and plenty of outlets. Wireless and hard wired internet. Our room had a small sitting and wet bar area with mini-bar and fridge. Front desk person was helpful albeit a little distracted. Fairly comfortable bed. We did hear street noises (traffic) from outside. The room design is bit awkward if one person is up early/late and one person wants to sleep.
The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was nice. I give it 2 stars because the people upstairs from our room were either having a party or just jumping around. At one point it even seemed like they were throwing weights or furniture around because they were loud boom sounds and it would shake. They provide hot breakfast which I like and they have good variety of food. The problem with that was the FLIES! I had to throw away a lot of the food my boys were eating cause even though we would try to avoid them landing they still got on the food. I would have to serve them again and just take it to the room so we can eat more comfortable.
I found it very satisfying. Properly greeted by a professional looking person even wearing a tie. Lobby, halls, and room very clean. The place was very quiet no outside road or neighborhood noise. Pool and hot tub clean and opened good hours.Breakfast was very adequate with a very good set up for food room. Dining area was adequately set up could have used an attendant present at all times.
Nice little scam theyve got going on. We had to book a hotel because the 5 and 58 were shut down due to weather, so we called ahead and reserved a room. When we arrive 10 minutes later, we were told that they were going to double charge us for an early check in. I can understand a moderate fee but a double charge seems excessive. Couldnt cancel the reservation without paying either because they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. No mention of this whatsoever on the phone. Really shady practice to take advantage of people who have no other options.
The first room or family was given smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The location is kind of sketchy. There is a dennys Starbucks, cafe, McDonalds, and a few other things that surround this hotel. We were extremists disappointed with the pool. It was green and murky or cloudy. Very unwelcoming and tiny for a hotel with so many rooms. This is a good hotel right off the highway for a quick stop to sleep. Nothing else. Not very family friendly. The staff was accommodating regardless of conditions.
Seriously great hotel in Bakersfield! For the last 5 years we have stayed away this hotel every time we fly in from Arizona (3 times a year). The place hasnt changed too much and we really like where the hotel is located (on the East side of Bakersfield). We stay for usually 5-7 days each time we arrive.Price: Very reasonable! We always book the suite room because it has more room and theres 5 of us (2 adults and 3 small kids). We are Hilton rewards and AAA Members so our nightly rate is about $110 per night for the suite room.Amenities: Love, love, love the free breakfast thats served from 6am-10am. Great variety for our kids. They always serve fresh waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and bagels/pantries. Really FRESH!Staff: Staff is very friendly, respectful and accommodating. If we call downstairs and ask for more pillows or blankets, they usually arrive in 15 minutes or less which makes me feel like a valued customer.Additional Pros: Newer hotel and not run-down. We love newer hotels. Great location! Next to Dennys, Starbucks, McDonalds, and a new place called Broken Yolk.Cons: HATE, HATE, HATE the new color blue they chose to paint the rooms. Very bad color choices. Feel like it looks like a cheaper quality. Interior decorator should be fired. Go back and paint the room walls a beige color to make more upscale!
Well for starters its a nice looking hotel. The problem that I had was with the bugs. I stayed for a week and 2 times out of that week I had roaches in my room. As well as every time I went down stairs I. The morning for breakfast which was really nice they always had little flies on The fruit. I told a manager that was on duty and she said that its not the place people bring them in. I do t know about that sounds kind of ridiculous to me. There is construction going on but if thats the case they need to spray more. I woke up one morning and there was one crawling on me. So gross
What a swing and a miss by Hilton, typically located in quality areas, this Hampton Inn was at best on the wrong side of the tracks, located on what seemed like the middle of the freewayNot a single restaurant, outside of fast food, withing 4 miles, in any direction.Creaky, noisy pipes, and deafening freeway noise, made this an awful experience.I was surprised my car was still there in the morning.
I usually stay here every 2 to 3 weeks for a couple of days. I love Sky at the front desk and Tammy who has breakfast waiting for us customers. The housekeepers are always friendly with a smile and a hello. The best part of this hotel is you feel like family by the people who work here. A hotel is just a hotel and offer the same things.... its the people make you feel like family and home. So in 2 weeks when I return there is no question where I will return. I hope Sky and Tammy never leave because I will probably look for a new place to call home when Im here.
The hotel service and rooms were great, fast check in and room was able to be selected ahead of time using the app. The only major annoyance and difficult, which doesnt really fall under the hotels control, but rather corporate is the WiFi, it is difficult to connect and once connected it consistently has to be reconnected, especially on mobile devices.
They canceled my entire week reservation because I worked late and couldn’t check in. The front desk lady made a lie and said my boss was told the fact. I called my boss and he said he was never told anything in that nature. Same place, same method of reservation but this week they charged more for a down graded room. No event going on and her explanation was, maybe it was the way he booked the room. I asked to speak to a manager and surprise, she is the manager. The final explanation of the reason why we are getting stiff is because their database is separated from their corporate umbrella. Which is understandable but why are they able to book reservation for me both weeks if it was separated? Something fishy going on here. The first week, the entire second floor smell like paint and the AC only kick on 1% of the time in the hallway. It’s over 100 degrees out so it’s not like you can crack a window. Just look at their AC. It auto shuts off mid-sleep and you wake up sweating. An extra star for the free water she gave me before I made it clear that I was going to write a review about the situation.
On our way to Las Vegas, we spent a night there. The premises are safe and clean. Theres a Dennys next to it and a fast food too. Employees have been very courteous and helping. The hotel and our room was modern with large spaces, very clean and quiet as well. Breakfast is complete even if not like in a restaurant. I would recommend this hotel.
Very nice Hotel and Suites, this was my second or third time staying at Hampton Inn. I was going to stay in the bakersfield areas for a night so I made the reservation a day before and got everything booked for on time with such a short notice.Well we arrived there the next day and I enjoyed customer service there, from the moment I arrived I got a very well impression from them, they signed me up for rewards very quickly and got me situated very soon. All of my needs were met and in the morning we had continental breakfast, very good food. Over all very good experience, I highly recommend it.
This is the only hotel we consider staying at when we visit. Their rooms are very comfortable, I like how they have bath tubs, comfortable beds, clean rooms, good cable, and free breakfast. They have a very good and large breakfast, including waffles. They also set out cookies in the afternoon.
GREAT SUPER COMFY BEDS. Very nice linens and room accomodations, including a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and a great hair blow dryer + unlimited free Wi-Fi. They have a wonderfully stocked breakfast bar, and all of the staff was just wonderful too. Seriously, what more could you ask for? A full restaurant? Not me, I much prefer the reasonable rates. *smile*
This place is DIRTY! Im disugested. The rugs look like they havent been vacumed in weeks. The pool is filled wtih bugs. My cover had stains on them. And bring your own towels. I challnege you to find one towel that doesnt have have stains on them. When inside your room, touch the counters, open the fridge and tell me if theyre not sticky. Dont stay at this hotel. Not to mention that the area is gang filled. I didnt see anything but they come out at night. Also, the noise is very loud as your right on the highwaway. the air and heat is also very loud
I stayed here new years eve. The staff were friendly and my room was immaculate. It was raining hard and we had a power outage. When the power came back on at 5 am, my lights turned on and i woke up. With the room illuminated, it was revealed to me that there was a small reddish black bug crawling across the sheets. I caught it and killed it. Took a photo and did google research. It was a 100% match to Cimex lectularius or the common parasitic bed bug. I told management what happened, i was quickly refunded. The manager told me that this had never happened before and then shooed me out the door.
When I got there, sky handled a situation that could have gotten ugly. I was very impressed with the way she handled it and how kind she was. If I was her manager I would promote her immediately. She is manager material and more. Loved my room and location. Thank you sky
You get what you pay for... well, in this case you get a little more. The place is a budget friendly property, reletavly new. Rooms are clean and well maintained. complimentrary hot breakfast is basic eggs, nothing to get excited about but great for something easy on the go. its not a luxury hotel, but its a great place for the budget concusus. Safe, clean, cozy...
Horrible service!! Do not recommend anyone to stay here it’s better to drive a little further to have peace of mind you will be taken care of!!! This location gives the brand a horrible image! The staff is no where close to being professional! Rooms are filthy and hope you get a shower and toilet that aren’t broken!
Ive stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is my go to hotel when I go to either Las Vegas or LA/SD. It is halfway to either of those 2 destinations from my home. It is always a consistently good experience there. Quiet location, clean rooms and decent free hot breakfast.
Nice enough hotel. Small mix up when checking in. Clerk told me I didnt have a room and my reservation was no good. Rather than leaving I got a digital key and suddenly he bacame very nice.Still havent got a receipt for my expenses. Ill look for something better next time I go to bakersfield
Air conditioniner didnt work properly. I told the desk they just keep telling me that it on a motion sensor. I told her there were two of us up getting ready for the day and packing and it would not come on. She just kept insisting that it was the motion sensor you have to move around to make it turn on. She was not listening to me and what I was saying. Also I hate to the motion sensor thing I would like to sleep the whole night with out being awaken several times and made to get out of bed just so I can get the air back on. How stupid is this. So much for getting a good nights sleep in hotels anymore.
Worst experience ever with Hampton! We found the chocolate beans on the ground and the gum attached on the headboard in our room. The bath water was not hot enough until you turn it on for 5 mins. The worst part is that they are under renovation but didnt put any notice on the Hilton reservation page. When we checked in the wallpaper were all gone and next morning they stare removing the carpet from hallway and making huge sound.Disappointed and would not come back!
Pretty hotel, just horrible internet. To get anywhere near decent speeds you would need to buy premium internet. This is the reason I will not ever return to a Hampton in. As this is the same at all location. Its locked on 5mbps. Breakfast is decent, I dont like the fact that all the plates etc are made of foam and are non recyclable.
My family and I have stayed at this location multiple times with no problems until this recent stay. The front desk girl Sky had the WORST costumer service I’ve experienced in a while. Unfortunately we came due to an emergency and being treated like we were an inconvenience to her did not help what we were going through. I’m disappointed as I’ve enjoyed other stays here before but I will NOT be coming back here.
My daughter made a reservation for 6 rooms under my name Andrew Oxxxxa, one reservation was for a friend Friday the 7th of July and checking out the 9th am. Our friend couldnt make it until Saturday, so my daughter called ( the call center apparently) and wanted to cancel Friday only, the reservation agreement would not allow cancellation, so we kept the reservation knowing we would have to pay for Friday, even though she would not get there until Saturday. Once again my daughter called the call center (unknown to her) Saturday to let them know our friend would be there to aquire her reservation on Saturday late afternoon and removed my name and placed the reservation under hers. When our friend got there she discovered her reservation was cancelled and billed for no show. We explained this to the Manager on duty Saturday, explained my daughter spoke to some guy about 1 pm Saturday, she said no guy was on duty at that time, thats when we discovered she spoke to the call center. The manager Said, no notes, so it was cancelled and billed as a no show and we have no more rooms available. She took no responsibility for a possible error on their end because she spoke to the call center not them directly, and if she had only stayed on the line she could have spoken to the front desk???? The manager had a not our fault attitude and offered no resolution nor any concern. We had to squeeze 3 members of our family and friends in 2 of the 5 rooms reserved. We have a convention ever year at the Robobank arena and this is the first time we have stayed at the Hampton Inn and the last after the poor service we received by your manager, and apparently the call center mistakes are not an extension of your business or your concern. Very dissatisfied and never again a customer.
Friendly staff. Rooms are relatively large. Location is close to the highway and its about 15 mins to downtown Bakersfield. There are a number of restaurants in the area and you get a discount for food at the cafe opposite the hotel. Good sleep quality. Other than that your typical Hampton inn.
Bed was hard, we shouldve stayed at a Holiday Inn . Heard train at night and morning.shower head was old and dingy. Breakfast was not as good as the Holiday inn we stayed at night before. First and last for us. We did not have a good nights sleeo, even though we needed one.
I am the owner of 4th Demention Construction and a local guide. This is the best hotel in Bakersfield no joke. The staff is simply amazing and the landscaping is so beautiful most of the rooms are pool view with a patios. There is a BBQ area they have set up you can use on a propane grill they supply. Free breakfast at there restaurant on the property. Also a bar with live bands and karaoke. Very clean place with a definite Family atmosphere. Keep up the good work. No doubt I will be back. Thanks for the stay. Very responsible rates also😁
This hotel is located within walking distance to Dennys, Jack in the Box, McDonalds, and a gas station. Its quiet, rooms are clean and updated, and they have a good selection in the mini store. They have free breakfast, and free WiFi. There is not an internal restaurant, but Panda Express is within a 2 min drive next to Walmart. Great location for me.
Call this hotel to see if they have availability they wanted a credit card to hold a room we show up at the hotel try and tell them we dont want to stay there the manager assist other clients rather than helping me I tried calling on the phone got some call CenterAnd they refused to refund my card even though we did not stay there horrible customer service at the counter and on the phone I would never stay at this hotel plus we were promised there was a hotel on the site which theres a Dennys next door
Memories of the motel scene from My Cousin Vinny would describe the location of this property. Located any place else including an airport runway would have earned them 5/5 stars but the hourly trains witn horns blowing that could be heard from Tehachapi and the stones throw distance to the Bakersfield-Barstow freeway are constant reminders that there is nothing that can drown out that kind of noise. If you do stay if recommend a room on the far northern side of the property preferably not in view of the bright green Starbucks sign that operating alone and with no other lights will project enough light to comfortably read a book especially if the constant noise keeps you awake. Recommended this property to anyone both blind and deaf!
Was put on the 4th floor you had to have yet to ring down to have them send the elevator up because the button didnt work and after I had checked in they placed a family next to me that kept me awake all hours of the night and then when I finally when they finally turned off the war movie that they were watching with airplanes diving and all that stuff then at 1:30 the three kids was running up and down the hallway no I did not enjoy my stay there
Great. Very kind and accommodating staff.3@?+/ Nice comfy bed made with beautiful white linens. Bath towels & cloths are very nice and all in white too. Our room has unllimited Wi-Fi that is provided by Hampton Inn and they provide a wonderfully breakfast bar in the morning hours that is far superior to a continental breakfast. We are very happy staying here.
We got into Bakersfield around 7pm checked into the Hampton Inn Bill who was at the front desk was wonderfull he was very informative and very friendly he let us know where we could get a bite to eat I believe its called Logging across the street Good choice the room was great slept like a baby well be back thanks Bill your customer service is flawless your a aspect to Hampton inThe Nyquist

2022-01-08Didnt feel appreciated as an Honors member. Could not get a better rate. They do not refresh the room unless you ask. Carpets look trashy. Although Heritage Inn has a higher standard than most hotels and is this one is fairly new, it looks 20 years old or more inside. The room was nice but noisy from freeway and trains in the middle of the night. Outlets were numerous but used excessively and sometimes would not make contact to charge devices. All the attendees were fabulous.

2022-05-07Staff very nice. Breakfast good.I do not know how they could feel our room was in rentable condition. Mattress was terrible. Shower stall had obvious problems that look as though it was in the middle of repair, but definitely not done by any standards. There were ants in the bathroom!

2022-04-12Wanted to charge for a 2nd room that was booked by mistake. The hotel clerk even said, hey they are booked 4 minutes apart after we were told we had 2 bookings. We asked for them to cancel 1 room and were quickly told they couldnt do that. Once my spouse was upset they could quickly cancel both reservations. If you can cancel both reservations, you can cancel 1.Once checked in they didnt even activate the room key, my spouse went back down and had them activated, hotel clerk said keep them away from our phones. Funny thing, they were in my side pocket very very far away from my phone. He just didnt do his job.Wouldnt recommend this hotel if youre coming in after a 12 plus hour drive for a funeral.

2022-06-01When we arrived the area stunk something awful, most likely fertilizer...eww. Parking is truly terrible here. Our room very clean. The complimentary soap are very tough to squeeze if you have arthritis, so bring your own. We have no complaints about the room or the food, all positive.

2022-06-11Convenient as its right outside Bakersfield and close to the highway. Rooms were not as clean as was expected for a Hampton. Front desk evening person was outside smoking every time we went to the front desk. The electrical plugs didnt work for charging of electronics.

2022-05-22Positive: The staff was great. We had a gentleman in the afternoon and woman in the am. Both were very friendly and helpful! They made a great impression! Negative: Wish the breakfast was early in the am, we missed it.

2022-05-02Front desk is very unprofessional!! I booked my “CONNECTED ROOMS” 1 mth prior..requested water and xtra towels in my rooms!! I checked in with the surprise that my rooms were across the hall and not connected!! No water or towels! Complained at the front desk and receptionist Becky said she couldn’t do anything they had no rooms available! I asked about my water she said i had to purchase it!! Horrible service!!

2022-05-30Couldnt get a room in Kernville for a last minute trip so we drove down the mountain to the Hamptons inn & suites. Check-in was easy and our room was very clean. Water pressure was good and lots of towels are provided. Everyone slept alcomfortably with no complains. Only wish breakfast hours werent so short.

2022-06-03The carpet looked like its been through heavy traffic. The room was hot, then cold with A.C, then hot. Was clean, restroom was clean, $129 for one night with $50 security deposit. Very noisy from the street. Overall it was ok.

2022-05-09Receptionist Leticia was horrible in customer care. She should get some training on how to treat customers with this attitude.Seems like a motel 6 named Hampton inn. Careful before book your reservation here folks
