I come here often, so with that being said my opinion is not based on a one time experience. The staff is usually kind and helpful. Like any thrifting experience sometimes you find gems and sometimes you dont. My main gripe is that the restroom is ALWAYS treacherous. It is usually worse than any gas station restroom and with as much people working at one time as there usually are this shouldnt be an issue. One other downfall is that there are no carts in this store only the handheld baskets, which is really annoying when you go in to buy lots of items.
Recently, I had decided to downsize my clothing inventory and donate several bags of good quality brand name clothing items to the Goodwill store located at Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, I drove to the rear of the store and asked an employee where I should drop off the donation? Silly me expected a different response than I got... “we don’t need the donation thanks!” ....Hmmmm..okaaay!!!
Mngr Shane needs re-trainging because on thursday August 22nd at 11:15 a.m. I had to wait 15 minutes to purchase one item because the secondary Checker went on break while the first checker was ringing up a hundred plus item order. When I talked to the manager Shane he told me it was mandated that they had to take their break on the 2nd hour by law. By law really??? So she couldnt have waited 15 minutes to allow the first Checker to check out the hundred plus item order and not have the rest of us waiting 15 + min
Hi. I went to the Moreno Valley Goodwill Store location on October 19 2015. The experience was outrageous. All the halloween prices were too overpriced for the good will that the thrift store promotes. This location is in a low-income area, which still shouldnt excuse their prices since the items were donated anyways, however, it is a place for people to easily afford items such as clothes and living necessities. The prices seem to be advocating high-end botique which it is not--it is a thrift store designed to help people who really need the extra aid in their community. The manager at night allowed the item I was interested in buying to be retagged as black instead of blue it originally was (blue was the color of the week). In outside stores, incorrectly marked items are still given to the costumer but the manager would still refuse and said she could reprice the items at anytime. This was unfair and wrong for this to be allowed. I will never shop at any goodwills again nor donate there since the business profits greatly with peoples good intentions. And I will ask my friends and family to do the same. Also, Ill reccomend people not volunteer there. It feels drastic too say but their way of business disgusts me.Thank you for reading.
Called to find out what time the donation center closed because we are driving from Beaumont California and they said 7 o’clock. We arrived at 6:20 in the back donation area and had to call. I talked to the manager he said unfortunately they were understaffed and they closed early not a good thing there was about four cars waiting to give donations in the back.

2022-01-10Some stores are pricing items as retail. I did find some vintage glass ornaments, lucky for me they were 25% off, but I still paid $7.50 for 4 ornaments . Theyre green and red, about 8 inches tall, just gorgeous. There was a tree topper, but it didnt work. Needed a light/s replaced or new fuse... but not worth the $7.99 they priced it at. Other items I saw there were nice but over priced. The staff was nice and the store was in decent condition. Only stopped here on my way home from a mini midweek trip.

2022-07-02I didnt really browse the clothes section because I like thrifting home decors/kitchen things more. I did see some mini clay pots that I was interested in. However, after looking into it more closely, I noticed two different tags on all the lids and the pots, meaning they were going to charge me one price for the pot itself and another price for the lid that it should come with. It felt very cash grabbing to me, so I quickly returned the items to the shelves. Honestly, everything else in the store was pretty overpriced, so I left the store without buying anything. This just reminded me of why I dont really thrift at Goodwill anymore.

2022-02-11Great store, I love their dollar day every Thursday. You can find some really nice things for just $1! The only bad experience I had was with the manager. She was very rude and aggressive with the customers, snide remarks and dirty looks.

2021-02-17Yes, they are taking donations at this time. Its awkward having to stay so far apart from other people, and it does take a lot longer to drop things off, but at least I was able to do so. Im deducting one star because the staff member who was working the donation center was extremely apathetic to her job, to say the least. She actively seemed like she did not want to be there.
