Very small, the staff are really not friendly, or helpful at all. Made my first purchase 3 days ago at this location, of plates. It was a set that was packaged as 3 plates for a single price of $3.99, and I happened to find the 4th plate amidst a bunch of other plates as I was perusing for $2.99 for the single plate. I brought this to the cashiers attention and she stated, youre getting a deal because I told them to price them at $2.99 each. This was clearly not true as all goodwills (including this one), puts obscene amounts of packing tapes on all dish sets and ALWAYS sells them as sets. They do not individually price items in sets at any Goodwill store Ive been to (including this one). Which brings me to my next complaint. I also bought another set of 4 plates all packaging taped together, and when I got home one of the plates was terribly scratched (through the glaze and paint--the purple plate was scratched down to white ceramic). Knowing this was unsafe to eat off once the glaze and paint has been penetrated I attempted to return or exchange. I was told no at first, and I continued to complain that they shouldnt hide damaged items in a bundled package (online says you have 7 days with receipt and tab affixed, both of which was the case here). One of the managers then said, ok find another item for the same price and Ill let you exchange as a one time courtesy credit.Do you know what a pain it was to find an exactly same priced item? Unfortunately, I had already given them my donations outside as a I pulled up. I will now only give my business and donations to the Salvatian Army in Poway, where the staff is friendly, they offer delivery service of large furniture, have great flash sales, and will negotiate on prices, and allow returns with receipt. Much larger store, much better prices, friendly staff.
Just an advice never put anything on hold in this store because chances are that they will end up selling your items to someone else. I really needed a desk now that I started my own business and I honestly don’t have the money to purchase a new one. I ask the cashiers if I could put the desk on hold or pay for it right away ? She offered me to wait till I was done looking around that she was going to put it in hold for me till I was ready to pay for all my items. Guess what they end up selling to someone else! it was so uncomfortable seeing someone else walking out with your desk and you having to tell him I’m sorry Sr. that’s my desk and even though the new cashier was apologizing for the mistake he was very rude and demanding such a terrible experience I had.
New (tags on) and nearly new items with sparse size selections for proper prices makes this wisest choice for clothes, though you will be required to frequent the stores regularly to actually find specific articles you need. With the epitome of inconsistent mechandise suppliers, one can only play the odds looking for more common things if time is limited. Obviously quality tools and up to date electronics are not often found here, but many other necessities for life can be, and the savings there can leave more money for craigslist and offerup purchases of tools and newer electronic devices.Retail prices have risen ridiculous amounts over the years, and Im surprised these types of stores arent more socially acceptable by now.
Went here to buy a laptop bag... found the perfect one and it was only .99 cts...or at least thats what I thought...went to pay for it and the cashier just in front of me, grabbed a sharpie and just wrote a 5 so it was now $5.99, saying it was a mistake. This is unbelievable... Ive shop here a lot of times and this was outrageous. Ended up not buying it. Even a manager was like yeah thats a mistake, its going to be 6 bucks. I dont get how this is acceptable...do you?
Smaller than I thought it would be from the pictures. Annoying you can only try six pieces of clothing at a time and they have to unlock a door for you. No toys, or at least very few (I only saw two in sight). Decent selection of womens clothes, handbags, and hats. I might come here again.
If you are lucky like my Mom and you know what to look for, you can find good stuff here. BIG come ups!!! Authentic Gucci belt that was mistagged and the clerk that sold it to me was jealous ($5.99), Dolce Gabbana denim jacket for $24.99 and a Henri Bendel purse for $24.99. All for my Mom. SCORE!!!!

2022-03-27I was preparing to visit this store, but after reading all of the reviews it reads like this place is an unhappy place to shop. Its a shame. Ive always appreciated the idea of goodwill as a concept and a store name. I have to say too that after reading the stores responses to many of these complaints, it reads like the store isnt really doing anything about other than giving lip service and not getting to the root cause. Maybe the store employees need therapy and counseling.

2021-03-04This location is about a mile from my house, but I would rather drive across town to Salvation Army!!! They are CONSISTENTLY RUDE during donation drop off — variety of employees over the last 5 years! Not a one time experience, prompting me to finally leave a review to warn others. The 2 stars is strictly for the inside shopping experience. It’s very small but staff is pleasant and I’ve found a couple good deals.Bottom line: go elsewhere.

2020-10-01The cashier lady was very nice. Its a small store and its hard to do social distance because of this. I found a super cute table for my living room that I love for a fair price. Im going to come back but during the week as its too busy on Saturdays.

2020-11-30Come here often to donate and buy stuff when the price is right. Prices are getting higher and higher and not sure why. Ive seen many items just sit on the floor week to week obviously due to price of the items. Price it right and you’ll be able to move more inventory. Business 101. IMO, this location is poorly managed. Here’s another example and the reason for this review..Tonight I arrived at 445 to drop off another bunch of items and was told by the manager on-site they were closed. They close at 5. I understand peeps like to get home after a hard days work but come on goodwill manager, you should adhere to the business hours that you publicize. If you stop taking donations 15 mins prior to the true closing time, then state that on your site. Why Inconvenience the folks who are the bread and butter for your business. Takes the “good” out of goodwill. I think the manager may need a reminder on what Goodwill represents and their mission.

2021-10-04I am a teacher and have provided my teacher business card with ID. At the entrance the sign states Teacher it does not state school district teacher Id which is confusing and missleading, it also undermineds and categorizes the importance of our contribution to Goodwill Corp. mission is to provide for the community. I am very cross about the approach that I received, I will keep my money Goodwill can keep its donations, as well as other comments highly over priced, I too will be visiting other reasonably priced stores that honor all Teachers, I like supporting my community but I need to vent!

2021-03-22I can’t believe the amount of attitude the rude employees give you here. I consistently drop items off several times a year and it never fails. The parking lot is an absolute fiasco, and then the employees can’t stand to be bothered or assist in directing you. I will start donating anywhere else but here.

2019-07-29Store is located in a upper medium residential neighborhood in a small shopping center/strip mall. The store itself is very very small, which makes the store cramped. It has some nice home decor, book section is very small, just a couple of shelves. The store is occupied mainly by rows of clothing. The merchandise is overpriced, there are no public bathrooms and customers cannot use the employee bathroom. There was only one cashier on duty and the store was quite busy, customer service was lacking. Parking was nightmarish, because there are so many other stores in the same shopping center. You may find some nice treasures there, but it does not feel like a fun thrift shop where there are hidden gems. I would not come back.
