It’s a fairly large goodwill store.However people may not realize, like I didn’t, that you cannot drop off items for donation after 4.30pm. This is very sad as people who work normal hours will find it too hard to donate items and will trash them instead or sell them.There are limited parking spots right outside the store on the street, that are usually full.
This store is awesome! The organization of the clothes racks with beautiful clothes in every color of the rainbow. It looked & felt like a boutique! Classy, snazzy, they have it all & their staff was helpful & courteous. Ill be going back to this store!
This is a boutique goodwill which means better quality and for the same prices as other second hand stores.Very clean and plenty of everything.If in Hillcrest ,you dont want to miss this Good-Will.They take donations there also.Five stars fer sure.
This store is wonderful and Ill give it give stars when they bring back the furniture section which is pretty empty since they re-opened. The store has many things and of course the items are constantly changing. Bring your mask as they (Thankfully) require them worn in the store. I have gotten many items at incredible prices. I hope you all have a great experience shopping there. Senior and military discount is 10% with ID.

Staff is SUPER FRIENDLY! Prices are ok also! Like additional space in back. Fun hunting. Check out earrings tho as some mismatched.Clothing aisles are VERY NARROW.Also, flooring is uneven.Ive seen some bring in 2-4 kids, and that only adds hardness to maneuver down narrow aisles.STAFF ARE SO COOL!! Kids running around as they please?? Not cool.
Great store with awesome inventory. The staff members are very friendly too. On wkends can get really busy, so be patient, because the are only 3 dressing rooms and 2 cashiers. If you are in a hurry, dont ruin your experience by getting frustrated, do your treasure hunting during the week.

Not organized much, so you may want to browse all. Very low cost, in case you find something you may want. (Other stores listed as Goodwill bookstores will have larger selection. Most Goodwill stores Ive been to have at least a few books.)
I am a treasure hunter in these isles.i get like brand. New or just broke in jeans and button down shirts for hardly anything.it is a good way to save money and do some good,helping a neighbor with a job ,and recycling to save our planet
The Hillcrest goodwill rocks. They have upscale clothes. The service is friendly and excellent. It is also very clean inside. Beware do to the purple tear. 2 person entry at a time.
This Goodwill used to be fair with its prices. I used to buy something from them every weekend. But after reopening from the coronavirus they went sky high. Now I just go there every 2 month and see the changes of the worse. It is very unsatisfactory to buy at the prices they have there now.
This Goodwill store is fantastic!!!! Everyone that works there is wonderful and helpful.The store is like walking into a great boutique. Everything is color coordinated. It is decorated beautifully and the prices are amazing.I am in there at least every couple of days. It is so fun!!! They have everything in there, china, pottery, art, beautiful clothes, shoes, furniture, handbags galore, too much to mention. If you havent been there, you need to go. This location has a very nice selection. I picked up a new pair of Dr. Martens boots for $29.99. You cant beat the deals anywhere! Everytime I go to this store I find great inexpensive buys. I am grateful for a place like this. San Diego is an expensive place to live and I try to save money where I can and this Goodwill helps out.
Pretty interesting set up in here with half the place boutique style and half being a typical Goodwill. However the typical Goodwill side has higher prices then I experienced in other Goodwill stores. Also, they order the clothing strangely by color rather than size. Very inconvenient and time consuming to browse.
Nice clean store but over priced and unlike most goodwills they dont even offer weekly sales on certain colored tags so you pay full price unless you qualify for 10 percent discount . Salvation army down the street way better
One of the nicest and most organized Goodwills I’ve visited. Prices were the same as the Midwest. Had a nice haul out of there for a great deal.

Best thrift store around. They always have something name brand like Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Kate Spade handbags, Hunter rain boots, Converse kicks. Never know what you will find, its like a treasure hunt. Friendly staff, 10% off for students, military and seniors everyday!.
Always great. The staff here is always very nice and they give me a receipt when I donate and sell all their items at a reasonable price. Have been a few times and never had a problem.
This Goodwill is alright. They do have a designated plus size section but its very small and I always find misplaced items and maternity mixed into it. Its one of the smaller Goodwills Ive been to but for its size the selection is pretty impressive.
Helpful employees, small space.They seriously need to re evaluate their pricing methods, most items are overpriced. They occasionally have brand name items in decent conditions but priced 50% less than what it would cost new, which is definitely not a thrift store bargain.

Love it when you snag a great brand name for super cheap. Goodwill is known for over pricing their merchandise when they get it for free. But this time I found a few great things that were affordable.
They have nice stuff but the service is awful. Dont spend your money in a place where you just going to be treated poorly. Ill never go back.
Store is big once youre inside, but only allowing 18 customers inside makes you wait in a slow line outside the store

A compact Goodwill with a great selection of clothing that is really pretty nicely organized. They have a small household items section and shoes are limited but clothes galore.
The atmoshere is hip. Small for good will but i loved the book and dvd selection...couldnt resist picking up a couple items even thought i only went in there to kill some time.

Right in the heart of Hillcrest. This place is clean and well organized. But like all Goodwill Thrift Stores it is overpriced. If you are nearby and on foot, I would say give this place a look. But if you are driving in and struggling to find a parking space... forget it.

Only three stars because of its size, great people there usually but so many other Goodwills are so much bigger and this being Hillcrest expect to spend some time before finding parking, especially Fridays and Saturdays

Had a hard time dropping off goods because (apparently) the workers struggle with English. They only spoke in Spanish and repeated everything I said before looking around confused.

It is an excellent place with very good facilities, in this place you can buy clothes and an infinity of things for example: jewelry, shoes, clothes, toys, furniture etc. Since this place offers at a great price the things that many people donate to this store, thus helping people with a disability, retired people, veterans, etc. If you are interested in buying a good shirt or a good pair of pants this is the right place, go and look for what you like at a mega price, help buying and donating in this store which makes an excellent and noble action for that this country grows and flourishes, it should be noted that the products are second but are in very good condition, sometimes even you can find clothes or products with their label that can also be branded, because most of your clothes or Products are usually branded ,,, when you can, go around and you will not regret it.

2022-06-10I am rating the drop off area. Goodwill workers used to be so kind and helpful. Now they arent friendly, at least that this place, they dont help you unload and they dont even let you put stuff on the ground. You have to put it into the bins yourself. So sad that customer service is dying

2019-08-27I really enjoyed it here. The security guard was really good at his job and courteous. The mannequins has such great outfits that I bought the entire fit. Will definitely return soon!

2022-02-12Pretty crowded on Sunday but, overall always clean and plastic at cashier booth. New clothes with tags coming in all the time. Its my go-to when theres nothing else to do on a Sunday. Getting ready for Halloween there and some crazy masks are available.

2022-03-07I buy 10 itemes from them when i travel i found that there is 1 item missing its might fall dawn when the baging my staff called tgey say its not there they charge me but the item wasnt there and its 10$ item they ask me to keepreset but still i keep reset but to pay uber again to back get this item will coadt me more tgan 10 so i hope you be carefull to put and count the all items we buy in our bag not every one have time to comback for item u forget to put it in and u charge coustmer for also i hope you consider open the fitting room as no time for all ppl to back after week to exchange

2022-05-29Only thing that really bothers me is not the kids who roam the store as they please esp in back near pictures, mirrows, chairs + games, puzzles etc . BUT ITS THE ADULTS WHO ARE WITH THEM WHO JUST SIT ON CHAIRS JUST TOTALLY IGNORING THEM. ONE KID TRIED TO PRY A CASE OPEN USING STICK!NEXT TIME I SEE THEM IN THERE, IM LEAVING WITHOUT MY PURCHASES!!MANAGEMENT SHOULD STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND DO SOMETHING AS IT RUINS OTHERS ENJOYMENT THERE.... AND I GO THERE AT LEAST TWICE WEEKLY.

2021-11-15Horrible, horrible, customer service at this goodwill location. My family and I are constant shoppers in this specific location for many years and there have been many times where we have been treated extremely rude by the employees, but today’s experience was enough. I work in a fast paced customer service job and treating customers with no such dignity is completely out of my will. I’ll be starting off with with the manager Alicia, older lady with glasses and boots. My mom and aunt have described to me several instances where she has been extremely disrespectful and today was not the first time that I have witnessed it in person. About a month ago she seemed to be in a rush and said “right behind you”, pushing my mom out of the way. We questioned ourselves where her manners were? Her pride was too much for her to not say “excuse me”. We feel immensely uncomfortable shopping whenever she’s working because our presence seems to bother her and it shows in her demeanor. She looks at us as if we are going to steal items from the store. Isabella the cashier, a younger tall woman is utterly aggressive when scanning the items. The tone in her voice was very rude when she was speaking to my mother. She was arguing back and forth with us about an item she claimed they “mistakenly priced”. If an item has a certain price on it, it is common sense to sell it for that price considering the fact that they made the mistake and not the customers. After putting the item for showcase I am aware it is final price. As she called Alicia over, she was also arguing back and forth with my mother in front of other customers, naming and yelling at us “exploitative people”. The other manager, younger guy in his thirties, long hair is one of the only employees I genuinely feel comfortable shopping around. He always puts customers first and is such a sweetheart. Bless his life and I hope he gets a raise. On the other hand, Alicia and Isabella, I send you blessings my way, but the way you treat others is only a reflection of yourselves. They both need better training or a new job because we BUY things out of our own pockets, not steal them, and therefore there is no absolute reason to treat customers so poorly and with low grace. I feel sorry for their coworkers because they seem to bring such a negative vibe in their workplace. Awesome prices and steals, however if you want a pleasant experience, I do not recommend this store!!!
