I have been to a lot of thrift stores in the area and this one rocks. Huge, clean, with a great selection. Tons of stuff with tags still on and good prices.
First time at this Goodwill.. it seemed clean, and quite organized.The 2 Male employees that I saw working there were nice and friendly... but the female employee had a lot of attitude. She was quite rude to my older mother.I took stars off for that, didnt understand why so rude on a Sunday evening an hour before closing.
Upkeep of the main store itself is good... Certainly nicer-looking compared to others. 3 stars is mainly for the fact that I tried dropping clothes off for donation and the person I was helped by clearly wasnt up for helping me any further other than to tell me to drop my stuff in the predefined boxes. I took the hint that they didnt want to help me out and I just left without a donation receipt.
The Store Manager originally for this store was black, the higher ups decided he was not the face of this store so they decided to go with a white Manager who was not experienced enough, they told everyone that the black Manager declined the store which was a lie, they didnt want to open the store with a black Manager because of the community there and the fact that the community didnt want the store in the first place, the landlord felt CVS didnt have the right to lease the store to Goodwill and they fought in court for 2 years but Goodwill end up winning and was able to open up, the Manager felt bad he didnt get the store because he knew why he didnt get the store and he felt he was done wrong because he didnt get the store because he skin tone shame on them, the store is underachieving not what they expected from the biggest store in California,hey higher ups wish you could have done the right thing. The Store Manager he is a good guy but he shouldnt have been the person for the Store.
One of the cleanest and most organized Goodwills Ive been to. They have a large variety of clothing, houseware, toys/games, and appliances. Furniture, handbags, shoes, and books are a little more sparse. The prices are hit or miss; I managed to find a brand-name item for a cheap price but for the most part everything else was about average.
Good place to find clothing and odds n ends. Prices are a little high but the quantity to choose from makes up for it.Donation drop off is located behind the building.Friendly staff with ample parking make it a good choice to shop.

I was at 5280 Prospect Rd., San Jose. It is large, clean, organized, has friendly people and has a half working air conditioning. The A/C is why I have 4 out of 5 stars. So, I encourage you to shop in the a.m.
My wife came to this store to donate some clothes. She put her clothes in a big plastic box which she wanted to take home after. A work came to her and took the box then just toss it on the ground and broke it. Then he left without apologies. So rude and unprofessional!
Goodwill no longer accepts bedframes because of the virus. No reason given other than that.
I just had a super weird experience in the store right now. I brought all of my donations in a cart: two decorative pillows, a duffel bag filled with blankets, and two bags of clothes. I bring everything in and a female worker yells at me is that all donations? Youre supposed to take those to the back! She had a super rude tone and I was really confused, so I stood there for a second looking around to see where I am supposed to take the donations. She comes up to me and says again is that all donations? We only accept donations of small bags of clothes! I said what? You dont take blankets or duffel bags or pillows? I was appalled, those are things that people typically need, and are sold in the store. So she saysits fine we will take it, but you should know that you are supposed to take those to the back! I said how would I know that? There arent any signs posted anywhere and this is my first time here! She says nothing and just takes the items. I cant believe how rude she was, and that she didnt want donations of brand new blankets or duffel bags. Ridiculous.
I did not spend a long time here but walked around to get an idea of what this new store was going to offer. It was clean, well set out with a reasonable effort put into the decor. I was impressed with the range of stock and the prices. Ill definitely be back.
Good sized store with primarily clothes. Some items are dated but others are in fashion or reasonably current technology, and at exceptional prices ($5 for a shirt that retails for &50+)
Above and beyond everything else the customer service is excellent. Above all thrift stores out there I go to this one just for that
It’s a nice store, love the stuff they sell not so sure about the staff thought. Their was one Gentleman cussing in the back of the store. Still I dot enjoy my finds there.
This is my favorite goodwill by far.. Store is very clean and organized...prices are good and its very open...definitely recommend
Good selection of items and is organized
As a reseller, I always find items worth selling at reasonable prices. Been to other Goodwills in the area that price up their merch.
Was impressed. Very spacious, clean, well stocked, good variety, and very cheerful and helpful staff.
There are definitely great stuff in there, pricing doesnt always make sense though.
I really like this goodwill! The often have things Im looking for, and the staff is welcoming and friendly.
My daughter took me here and she had to get snow gear she found boys winter jacket for the snow and she found boys snow pants both cost $4.00 each 👍👍Hardly anyone there .

Call on the phone, they say donations until 4. Arrive 20 minutes later at 3:40. Donations closed at 3. Won’t honor their word. Go to another location.

A normal Goodwill that has a bit more flare than many other, smaller Goodwills. Besides that its exactly what youd expect from this thrift store chain.
It was very full of items to choose from.
The guy at the register is really nice, as with any goodwill its always hit or miss but this one for me is usually a hit

This is a donation site -- meaning there is no store, and also meaning its not a drop-off bin. Youre supposed to come during business hours to donate. However, people still continue to just leave unwanted items sitting on the ground outside the truck after they close. When they are open, the back of the truck will be open and an employee will accept donations.
I love the service. It’s also very organized.

Normally I go to this store but its been like 3 to 4 times that I find an Asian woman who works there cleaning dam but she doesnt clean but she throws all the glass into a box, if we donate our things its to help not to that they end like this here I leave you some photos and if someone knows how to report this to the corporation I would appreciate it because it seems unattainable to me that they allow you to do this, if you normally come here and that you open given how much

2022-06-28This is the BEST Goodwill in the South Bay! Staff is so nice and they work hard to keep the store clean and organized. The selection of clothes, art, and homewares is also impressive. The other Goodwills WISH they could be this amazing.

2022-03-17This is the very first Goodwill I visit when thrifting. This location is soo spacious which means lots of shelves and racks stacked with all sorts of home goods. Furniture selection is decent, clothing, shoes, and accessories are fairly diverse, if I recall correctly there are three fitting rooms, there are also packaged seasonal costumes or props. towards the cash registers. Music videos shown on several TVs mounted up on the walls, really cool and subtle. They always assist over the phone and are overall friendly. Lots of parking and shopping carts/baskets are a plus (cant take the carts out to the parking lot just fyi if you shop big to park as close to the entrance as you can).

2022-06-28This goodwill has the worst selection for thrifting, at first I though it was when I come in (day of the week or time) but tried a few more times and found absolutely nothing. I recommend savers in San Jose or the other goodwill down the street, more options. Also the goodwill down the street has more hours that you can donate at.

2022-01-01I had a wonderful experience shopping here today! I received excellent assistance from Jose who was very kind and helpful. Checkout went great too. Great selection of TVs and electronics. Prices were very good at this Goodwill. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommend.

2020-07-01Their donation drop off is behind the Goodwill Store. Hours vary according to storage and staffing. Posted hours dont always coincide with opening so be prepared to wait. If you arrive after posted hours, look for the line of cars. Linejumpers will be directed accordingly to the end of car line.
