Update: Appreciate the follow up that GW did. Ive been back once since this write up and didnt have anyone open my car. Still dont like that they try to empty things out.. Give me a second to get out of the car and explain what Im dropping off.Its ok as far as convenience goes. On multiple occasions, the staff opened my vehicle and started grabbing things out of my car without permission. I drop off different donations to different locations often and usually load my car up and go place to place. Opening my car and pulling things out that I did not intend to donate to them made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I never gave them permission to touch my car and I do not need assistance unloading. Ive addressed it with them twice now.

I was at the park n ride at the Goodwill donation center. Goodwill seemed fine but the park and ride lot was very dirty, broken glass and a homeless haven. Yuck!

This is the first time I’ve come to this goodwill drop off as soon as they were suppose to open at 8:30am. There were no signs nor bins set up yet, so I drove through, and one of the workers mouthed, “what are you going, stop.” I was just going to drive through and come back later because it looked like they were not ready at the time they were supposed to be. I asked him, what time are you guys supposed to open? He replied 8:30 but give us 10 more minutes to set up. There was a car waiting already and there was no guidance as to what you do. This is my first time coming here at opening time so I wasn’t sure, but no need for such negative attitude.

I showed up with 3 huge bags full of shoes, clothes, and kids toys that were all in excellent condition to donate. There were 4-6 volunteers standing around as I walked up, that is when the gentleman taking the selfie shouted at me that they didnt open until 9.This wouldnt have been a big deal other than the fact the connex they work out of was already open, there was no one waiting in there vehicle, and there were no cars in line. Guess donated goods arent all that important prior to 9am sharp.

They dont give a care about anything. Literally just dropped a box of glassware (we were team lifting) into the bottom of the bin and broke a ton of nice glassware and just said oh well. This honestly should not even be a donation site if they are going to break everything. This is more of a trash disposal site! 😤

My daughter who is currently 7 months pregnant just went to this Mira Mesa drop off location. The employee came over to her and told her where to place things! They were so busy talking they didnt even help her unload her donations! Why are they even there!!

The best time to go is early morning as there is a line usually, especially now with the Covid issue going on. Easy drive up, unload your own stuff and you are on your way!
