I needed to have a crown replaced and Dr. Farokhians office expidited scheduling even though I was not an existing patient. Doctor Farokhian was very efficient and explained how he would proceed to ensure a lasting fit of the new crown. He has an engaging manner, even when administering pain numbing shots. I cant say I look forward to dental work but Dr. Farokhian has gained my trust and he is my new dentist.
Never take for granted the value of an outstanding dentist with excellent chairside manner. This is a big deal for me as I have terrible dental phobia. Its so bad I have to take a sedative beforehand. Thank you Dr. Farokhian!I have written reviews for Dr. Farokhian before but every time I have work done I feel compelled to write another, thats how grateful I am.

There’s a lot of good things to say about this practice… I’ve always received very high quality dental work. They run very efficiently and on time. What stands out to me most though is the quality of their hygienists and the kindness of Dr Farokhian. They are wonderful with me and my daughter, and very understanding of challenges that can arise for children coming in to see the dentist as well.
Honesty and sincerity rang through for me! These two things and the level of professionalism makes this an almost perfect score for this establishment. Since we all know there is no perfect man on earth we can place this service just one notch below perfect!
It’s always a pleasure to visit Dr. Farokhian’s office. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly. The office is in a very convenient location where I can get gas, run errands and pickup groceries afterwards and there is street parking. Dr. Farokhian and his hygienists always make my experiences at the dentist pain free. The doctor is also highly skilled in cosmetic dentistry. He has replaced several of my failing crowns with Lava porcelain crowns, which are extremely durable and lifelike. They look and feel like my original teeth. I appreciate the excellent dental care that I have received over the years.

I had an x-ray taken in preparation for completing the tooth part of an implant, then a quick check by the doctor on how my implant base was fusing to the jawbone. In and out, 15 minutes.

I have visited Dr. Farokhian twice this year, both times in emergencies. Even though I was a visitor to San Diego at the time and not in his patient base, he worked me in both times, welcomed me warmly addressed my problems meticulously. I am now relocating my dental care to San Diego so I can be one of his regulars. It is worth noting that his staff is also exceptional. They are all well-informed about the procedures he performs, how much time they take and special needs. Going to Dr. Farokhian is not just going to the dentist; it is going to an entire capable team.
I was treated by Kristine today (unsure if Dental hygienist or DDS) but she was fantastic. Talked me through the health of my teeth and continuously checked on me if I was having discomfort or issues during my teeth cleaning. This was my second visit and I was a little unsure after the first time but now I am very happy with my visit today. I will definitely return.

I have been going to Dr. Farokian since he took over for Dr. Ward. He’s personable, makes sure you’re not in any pain while he’s working on you and does a great job. His front desk staff is also great and the dental assistants are thorough in their teeth cleaning.

Dr. Farokhian has always been there for me! He is thoughtful, caring and very talented. He always treats me with respect and does a fantastic job numbing me before any procedure. He is always calm, punctual and friendly. He has given me routine dental care, organized a root canal and done an extraction. He is putting in a new tooth now and doing a great job! What an incredible experience! I was unaware dentistry could be so relaxing and enjoyable. I started my journey by parking in their new, state of the art parking garage. Plenty of spots, even if you have two cars! I walked up the staircase (I love exercise!) and was immediately greeted by the warm and welcoming staff. Giselle, my dental hygienist (more like dental hi genuinely the best person ever!) was a miracle worker. I almost passed out mid check up because of how at home the experience was. Dr. Farokhian came in at the end of my cleaning, gave me a fist bump, and flew out the window in a Superman costume. I’ve always had a feeling about that guy... Anyways, so awesome. If you haven’t made an appointment yet, it may be the best thing you do today.

For the 1st time I feel like I can go to the dentist and not have anxiety anticipating my appointments. If youre like me book your appointment with doctor Farokhian. I have had major Dental work done in his office and I have not been in any pain. Master eye for detail on the cosmetic side.
Who would ever say they love going to the dentist? Well, I DO...!!! Dr. Farokhian is not only an expert, but he has also taught dentistry for many years. He is always fun and amiable and gets along great with his patients and staff. It’s a very congenial atmosphere! We all laugh a lot. But his expertise is the reason I keep going back. He is also fast — so his efficiency gets me in and out of there quickly. I can’t say enough about how much I respect and appreciate Dr. Farokhian. And his nurses, attendants, receptionist and administrators are ALL just as fun and friendly! And the outdoor views and open arrangement of the patient stations are very pleasant, each with its own television!
Everyone was so nice there in the office. My mom is 101 years old and she really likes her new Dentist Dr. Farshin Farokhian. He was very gentle and explain everything to us step by step what needs to be done with my moms new partial top teeth he is making for her.Im so happy we found him.

More than satisfactory experience…I just completed my second implanted tooth, the slightly more expensive route than having a partial/bridge as they fully explained, going with the full-usable choice has been amazing. Only one day has gone by and I am now pain free and just used ‘em to eat ribs & wings.My smile is returned!

Great office and friendly staff! My hygienist is Melinda. Shes very personable, gentle, and thorough with my dental cleanings. I havent needed any dental work with Dr. Farokhian but he does my dental exams after the cleanings. Hes always honest with advice and I can say he is very trustworthy. This was my first visit here and everything went like clockwork. As a new patient you would expect to have to chase down records from your previous dentist but no, Genevie and the team did everything. Upon arrival Faith was welcoming and the rest of the visit went just as well. Painless despite being 9 months since my last dentist appointment mainly due to their professionalism and priority on patient care. Im going back :-)

I have been going for 6+ years for teeth cleaning, and I highly recommend them for their expertise. They are always on time with appointments and do a great job in coordinating with your insurance carrier. I have enjoyed the office staff, such as Genevie and Debbie.
Fantastic office staff and hygienists, very qualified and friendly dentist. I was dissatisfied with my previous dentist, so I made the switch to Dr. Farokhian after getting x-rays with the previous dentist. He was understanding of my situation, and he gave a more informed perspective about the x-rays than I got at the other office. My cavity filling was very quick and painless; I had no problems during or after the procedure.

Amazing dentist and staff. Everyone is always so friendly and prompt. I’m in and out within an hour for my cleanings and with any major thing I’ve done (extraction, implant, cavity filling), the doc has walked me through the steps verbally as he does it and checks in frequently. My anxiety of going to the dentist has great reduced and I am so relaxed during what is typically an unfavorable way to spend my hour.
Dr. Farokhian is without question, the most competent, professional and attentive dentist I ever seen as a dental patient. Another great visit with Dr. Farokhian and team for a temperamental crown prep. Dr. F did a near miraculous job saving me from a near root canal, reducing things to a mere crown. His always easy going and friendly chair-side manner, along with expert use of the tools involved makes going to this dentist for such a procedure a much less trying experience than it might be. This is a wonderful office! The dentist, the hygienists, the front desk staff - all of them are very personable and very good at what they do. I had a small chipped edge on a front tooth, and the doctor did such a good job with the repair that you cant see where it is at all. I also have more than one crown, and there is definitely a difference in the quality of the work (older/inferior ones were done elsewhere.) Even the numbing shots didnt seem to pinch and hurt like with other dentists. If youre looking for a new dentist or dental hygienist, check them out and you wont be disappointed!
I called the emergency line Thursday night and they were able to squeeze me in that Friday morning. I got a quick temporary crown in place of my broken crown, to allow me to go on a previously planned trip. Half way through my trip the temp is hanging in there. Doctor Farokhian and staff, you’re the best!!!
A huge exhale... finally.Dr. Farokhian/and staff focus on the patient experience. Informing and reassuring each step of the way, very attentive to the patients expectations and thankfully comfort level at all times; which to my pleasant surprise, was quite comfortable (w/ bone loss and spots of recessing gum line). Dr. Farokhian is quick, efficient and best yet I wasn’t given a long “to-do” list, in fact far less than what I expected. It’s a huge relief to know my teeth are in skilled hands and I can go to the dentist without anxiety!

I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now even though I moved to Orange County. I’ve had terrible experiences with dentists in the past and Dr. Farokhian and all of his staff have patiently helped me overcome my traumas with dental treatment. They have always been very sweet and caring, and extremely careful and attentive to my needs.
The dentist is honest and open about needed procedures and gives a priority of what needs to be done first complete with what the procedure is and why it needs to be done first. Also my hygienist Tina was friendly thorough and quick making me feel that my time was valuable.
I spent years with a lot of anxiety about dentists, but Dr. F and his whole team are wonderful. Always a good analysis of issues, no pressure to choose an expensive treatment over any other option, and professional, caring attitudes on every level.

Dr. F is an amazing dentist. I loathe going to the dentist but the atmosphere and staff makes it all worth it. He is really a great dentist and makes you fe comfortable and he is the best at numbing you without any pain at all(my worst fear of all is the mouth shots). My husband and I will be going to him for a long time.

I have continued coming to Dr. Farokhians Dental Offices since before he took over. It was a smooth transition. Dr. Farokian and all staff cares about each and every person who walks through the door. They take time and care to explain any concerns you may have. The ladies at the front desk take the time to see what your insurance covers and copays may be for your next visit. What I love is when you walk through the door, you are acknowledged right away. Fantastic dentist! I called and they made room for me on the same day as my call. Very friendly staff, excellent service. Reasonable prices. About the only downside is that parking is a bit tight but that is true for all dentists in this region.
Dr Farokhian is a warm and compassionate doctor. I respect his expertise.I have one concern. After having a second crown put in, I did not have sensitivity to heat or cold. But, I do feel pain when I bite on something hard. I have not seen a dentist locally as I am traveling for the next two weeks. I was wondering if an X-ray of the tooth and crown would indicate what the problem is. I will send Dr Farokhian the proper email for my local dentist. Thank you 🙏🏼, Nina Jordan

I was only in San Diego for a short time, but was able to get a lot of dental work done. They were very accommodating and professional and I am very pleased with their services!
Dr Farokhian fit me in his schedule to check on chronic tooth pain I reported. That tooth was to be one of the posts for a new bridge in that area which he was going to start in another week. That complicated the issue. He fit me into his morning schedule. Xrays could not confirm the source of the pain but Dr. Farokhians analysis was the pain was due to a micro crack in that tooth which was going to serve as a post for the bridge I was scheduled to have installed. The Xrays did not confirm the tooth was the source of the pain. But to use a sick tooth as a post for a bridge and have it fail later would be a disaster. He needed to be sure. He discussed the pull tooth-no pull tooth option. I decided on the pull option which his arguments favored. So he pulled and sure enough the tooth had a micro crack at its roots which were causing infection and thus the pain. He had made the right decision. His Nurse technician Lisa, did a perfect job tending to the needs of the operation and making me comfortable afterward. I felt and was indeed in great hands with that surgical duo. I felt no pain during the entire procedure.

My first time with Heather as my Hygienist and she was wonderful. Explained everything throughout. As usual the office staff were great and the surroundings are always clean and relaxing.
Dr Farokhian is very professional and very skilled. He is attentive to patient needs and comfort during dental treatment.

Went from a PPO to an HMO. My new dentist found i had miss aligned bite with bone loss. Had it continued my two front teeth wouldve fallen out. I cant believe this wasnt caught. His staff mentioned my two front teeth were slightly moving. The urgency to address this was not presented to me until i switched dentists. So long story short im upset i almost lost my two front teeth and only found out by chance.

2022-07-12I’ve been going to Dr Farokhian for years and he is great. He was able to fit me into his schedule the same day a filling came out before I went on a trip. I also always request for Tina for my cleanings. She is awesome! Genevieve at the front desk is also amazing and always so super helpful. Everyone there genuinely cares for their patients and I appreciate them all so much.

The staff is amazing and Dr Farokhian is the best. Im reluctant to leave my review because I want to keep this secret to myself!

2022-05-19Excellent care is always given by the hygienist as well as the doctor. I make sure to go on Saturday to get my favorite hygienist , who gives the best, personal, kind care and also advises me in a non harsh way on how to have better oral hygiene. The doc is also friendly and through.

2022-03-22Was new to the SD area and lucky to find this dental office! The receptionists are great and extra helpful with insurance and scheduling. Each time Sneha’s done my cleaning and she is so friendly and very gentle. She even removed caked on cement residue stuck on my teeth from when I had braces, I was stoked! I also appreciated her explaining what she was seeing while examining my mouth.I’ve seen Dr. Farokhian only once but he was also friendly, efficient, and answered my questions. Parking here is also great. Thank you Farokhian team!
