The rental process was smooth and the car itself was fine. The reason for the less than stellar rating was the Enterprise thief that took my jacket. When turning in the vehicle I left my jacket on the back seat. Yes my fault for leaving it. However there is no way the vehicle could have been cleaned without it being noticed. It was never turned in to the lost and found. I filed a claim with the lost and found section and now a week and a half later no jacket.
Im tired of the fees that surprises you at the end. I was hesitant to rent since I had bad experiences with other companies that left me strained in a foreign country trying to rip me off with BS surprise fees and with no other option than to pay whatever they asked. But I gave it a try with enterprise; the booking was fast and easy, the same with check in and checkout. And most importantly, NO SURPRISE FEES at end. the car was clean and in good shape. Im glad I found a company which doesnt follow the business of ripping you off. What is quoted, is what you pay. Definitely my next rental will be with enterprise.
Amazing service from Danif! He made my pick up super quick and easy with very friendly service. When I dropped the car off I was lucky enough to have another friendly person Yeng Lee who was kind enough to remind me I left my phone cord in the car. Ive always had great service at this location but both these employees really made for a great pick up and drop off. Thanks for being so great!
I had the best experience with Enterprise on my recent trip. I needed to rent a car one way to the airport, turn it in there and fly to my destination and then needed to rent again on my way back home. Every single Enterprise employee at both locations, Redding and Sacramento Airport, were friendly, patient, helpful and efficient. They made the whole situation seamless for me. And I even needed rides to and from the Redding location. Enterprise and their great employees made a fairly stressful trip easy and enjoyable! I was more than impressed.
I travel for work and have been to Sacramento CA since 2020 and always rent from Enterprise every time I go. I travel two weeks out of the month and this is the second time in 2 months that Monique gave me issues at the counter. When you pull up my account you can see that I am a valued member with lots of points built up. I have free upgrades and have been using Enterprise for years. She grilled me and after having my license in hand asking me my address, my telephone number, my email address and I had to show a business card to prove I worked for the company that I have been renting cars under for the last 13 years. And have been using Enterprise most of those years. She is rude, and condescending, stating that they have to check to make sure people arent getting discounts that dont deserve to!!! YOU HAVE MY LICENSE IN HAND AND CAN CLERLY SEE ITS ME AND MY HISTORY OF RENTING. I said well I might just start using National going forward because they do not give my coworkers this trouble, she looked up and said well we are all associated so it would be the same if you used them, do you want to use them instead of us? Poor customer service and didnt seem to have an issue prompting me to use other companies. Will use National from now on and IF I have the same issue I will speak with my companies travel agency and see if we can find a better rental agency that will provide better customer service to our employees.
The customer service agent was not very friendly. It took a while at the counter to get my car even though I already had a reservation. The maintenance required light came on about 50 miles after I had left the airport. Once I got to my hotel, I called to let them know and I was told to take it to get the oil changed. Um sorry, im on vacation and am not spending it on getting a rental car an oil change. There were no Enterprises around me that were open to exchange the car and the customer service rep I spoke to was not helpful at all. Very disappointed with the experience I had with Enterprise.
From the minute we got to the check in process our rental went super smooth. Kristen was our agent and she was very helpful, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to get on our way. Her professionalism and smile and willingness to go out of her way to make sure we were set exceeded our expectations. The return process was very quick and efficient as well. We will Comtinie to use Enterprise for our car rental needs.
Check-in went smooth with Enterprise Representative Fernanda. She has a great energy and was very relaxed and friendly. Coming into the car rental area (via a shuttle) from a hectic airport and full flight can be stressful and she made the process calm, efficient, and caring!Thank you Fernanda!
Ms Kim is THE BEST lost and found service worker I have ever met. Shes very thorough. Trust if something is left in an Enterprise rental car at Sacramento Airport, Shes on it and She does it with a huge smile on Her face and due diligence!!! She made My Easter Sunday. I wish I could give Ms Kim 10 stars personally
This Enterprise location was wonderful. We had a last minute change to our reservation when we got to the counter and our attendant was super helpful and did everything he could to accommodate our request. I would definitely use Enterprise when I fly back to Sacramento.
I rented a car at Sacramento CA Airport and on pickup Monique walked me to my car and explained everything to me including how to exit the parking lot. Upon my return Reggie accepted my car and asked if there were any issues and confirmed that my rental was satisfactory, Both associates were pleasant and thorough. When I occasionally rent a car it is always from Enterprise.
Enterprise has always come through for everyone in my family. I enjoy the variety of vehicles available when I choose to rent and sometimes I have had an opportunity to upgrade to another vehicle with the excess cost. Lot of rental agencies do this, you say. Yes, but Enterprise offered it to me before another car rental service.
Thank you for the excellent service I received from the person who checked me in to pickup my vehicle also Yeng Lee, who checked me in when I turned the vehicle. Both were very professional and pleasant. I am most appreciative of both of them being so helpful. Sorry I forgot the name of the person who checked me in. I do remember he is originally from Oakdale. Thank you again for such a fine experience!!
I am an unusual customer. My license restricts me to driving with left-foot accelerator. Enterprise and their employees cheerfully provide me with a suitable vehicle every time I request one. On this trip, I was grateful for the enthusiasm and courtesy of the Enterprise staff at both Sacramento and Denver airports.
Enterprise and my GMC Yukon XL was the one thing that was 100% spot on for my Sacramento CA vacation. AirB&B trouble, attractions closed, flight canceled, unexpected hotel stay.Enterprise I cant say enough Great customer service, Friendly people, car ready on time, in and out in 15min, no issues keeping it an extra day due to airline issues, and smooth drop off too. A+ Thank you!
Terrible experience. My rental car smelled like damp mildew and the windows and side mirrors had so many water spots that I could not see. I cant believe the guy that pulled the car up for me didnt address the issue. What made it worse is that I rented a mini van so I could be the designated driver for my Uncles 65th birthday party. My family and friends had to ride in the nasty stink! Gonna try someone else next time.
The staff in Sacramento were probably the best Ive ever experienced. From the service at the check-in desk, to the service on return, everyone was happy, helpful and courteous. So incredible to quality and professionalism across the board within a company unit. Thank you for making our trip, and experience, so great.
Nice car, easy rental transaction, the only thing was I could not get the sirius xm to work, so i never used it and would love it if theyd refund the $20 it cost to add it on. I have sirius xm in my own car and it is extremely easy to use, but it was either not loading or its just beyond my technological experience. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. The employees at the SMF airport Enterprise rental office were super nice and professional and I would definitely rent from them again.
I only drive electric cars, so I reserved a Nissan Leaf. When I went to pick it up, they asked me if I was sure I still wanted it. When I said yes, they said they needed to see if it was available. Why reserve anything? EVs shouldnt cost more to rent. They will save rental car companies a lot of money over time.
Usually I love doing business with this company but today I found a duplicate charge on my account which overdrew my account. I called to figure out what caused the duplicate charge and to dispute it only to be told that there was nothing that could be done. This situation caused me a huge inconvenience and has left a sour taste in my mouth regarding the company as a whole.
Every time I rent from Enterprise I dont get the car requested. The person at the counter grabs a key sets it up takes me outside and says will this work. This time I wanted a Dodge Challenger and got a Camaro that had been smoked in with 60,000 miles. A $700 disappointment.
Pick up of the car was quick, escorted to our car efficiently and received a no cost upgrade to an SUV (reason unknown). The agent was attentive as the car inspection was gone over together and we were on our way. Returned to same facility and the drop offi process was super fast. No complaints and everyone that we encountered was friendly and professional.
Everything was done online, so when we got to the rental counter, they just brought us outside, we checked over the car and off we went….. so easy. The car was pretty much brand new. Drop off was just as easy. Prices were better than any of the other rental agencies even with a different drop off location. Had the car for three weeks and had no problems. Will definitely rent from them again.
Enterprise is the ONLY car rental I will use from now on. They are NEVER a problem. Even their economy cars are nice, they dont charge your credit card in advance - give great loyalty discounts and if you put your license info in advance - dont even require your credit card information to reserve a car. The BEST part is you actually can talk to a real person (not a robot). And they dont limit who can drive the car as long as they are of age and provide a valid drivers license. Its worth the few extra dollars to rent from them. Very professional and customer orientated.I booked a rental car through Economy for my trip to Texas for Thrifty car rental - It was/is a nightmare. Only I can dive the car - not my husband. They immediately charged my credit card -they had the wrong rental dates - I immediately emailed them to correct the dates (tried to call first was on hold over 45 minutes each time I called). when I finally got through they said everything had to be done on line and wouldnt talk to me at all - they didnt correct the dates - repeatedly emailed them - they charged me for not picking up the car 2 1/2 months before I needed it. Said I never contacted them or the rental company - I did both MANY TIMES.(I was in San Diego) It took them over a week to finally acknowledge my email - by then the pick up date came and went. 3 more weeks to get them to acknowledge I had tried to change the dates - but said they had no way to change the dates in their system - to use the voucher dated for August when I pick up the car in October. have no idea how thats going to play out. All I have is a screen shot of the email they sent me. Totally NOT worth the few dollars I saved renting from them.
Enterprise has the best customer service bar none. I had rented a car that only had 1/2 tank of gas, when I put gas in it to return it was almost full. When I returned the car, Marcus was my customer service guy and I told him what had happened, he made it right and gave me a credit for the gas right on the spot. They have always listened to their customers and I have been renting cars from them for years and I will continue to do that as long as I travel.Thank you Marcus for making my trip more pleasurable with your great attitude and friendliness. I hope to see you again. GO HAWKS!
If you have any issues at all, you will wish you didnt book with this enterprise. We called ahead and specifically booked an all wheel drive vehicle, (well be traveling through 2 mountain passes so it was 100% a must have) and we show up and the worker tells me I didnt, and she doesnt know who I spoke to. She then tells me it will be another 45$/day if I want an awd, which at this point on top of the 530$ I was already paying (9 day rental) they wanted another 400$, grand total of 900$+ for something I already scheduled. In a panic, and with the enterprise people not willing to help or acknowledge what I was dealing with, I went down to Budget to see if maybe they had something, and after telling them about my miserable experience, they gave me the same exact thing enterprise wanted 900$ for, for 370$. Apparently, if you want something specific from enterprise, get it in writing. Ive been to many enterprises and never felt less cared about than at this location.
I would start by saying that I usually have a very good experience with Enterprise and in fact have had a good experience at this location in the past. Im hopeful they had a bad day however the check in process was terrible during our last visit and I along with many other people had a wait time of greater than 45 to 60 minutes to get our vehicles after signing the agreements. It was taking what appeared to be 5 to 10 minutes between vehicles and was exquisitely slow. During that time there were no less than 4 people wandering around behind the desk while we all stood there waiting for vehicles. We decided to go with a convertible which was a bit of an upcharge. The vehicle itself was a little damaged which isnt that uncommon for a rental. However the rear windows would not come fully up leaving a moderate noisy gap between the front and rear windows. With a little manual help they would extend but I would expect to have a fully functional vehicle for the price that we paid. The return process was very smooth and the gal checking us back in was spectacular. She was very pleasant, helpful, and efficient.
Every thing was just right. The man who checked us in was perhaps the nicest and most solicitous rental car employee I have ever met. He went way out of his way to make sure we got off okay. The car was just what we reserved and was clean and ready to go.The return was was easy, though there is a bit of a treck from the check-in lanes to the shuttle bus at the Sacramento airport.
The car was excellent, and the price was fair. But the confusing line at the Sacramento airport Enterprise was difficult. First you stood in line to check in, then you waited in a crowd for your name to be called to get your car. Just not very organized, communicative, or professional.
I went to get the car and the young lady at the counter had me wait so the car could get a proper cleaning and disinfecting and she had it brought around to the door for me to inspect. The vehicle was clean and properly sanitized, just like Enterprise told me. I had rented from another company on a BUDGET in another location 2 weeks ago and that car had not been cleaned and someone had sprayed something (vomit?) all over the dash, the floor was filthy and the windows were disgusting. I was very pleasantly surprised at the vehicle I got from Enterprise! She asked me if I wanted to pre-pay for the fuel, since the station at the airport was over $5.00 a gallon and Enterprises pricing was lower. For the first time ever, I agrees and brought the car back with about1/4 tank of fuel. When I brought it back, the guy checked the vin and said he would send the receipt to my email. No hassle at all! VERY SATISFIED!
Overall a good experience. First car had cigarette smell. Attendant was very accommodating in swapping it for a different one. Pick up and drop off was easy. What I wasnt expecting was to get charged $3.95 on a $6.00 toll that I could not pay because of Californias insane COVID regulations. There were No toll takers on bridge to pay at.
I was told I couldnt pick my car--the office would pick one for me, which hasnt been my car rental experience in the past. They brought out a nice Corolla with all four doors wide open. At the time, I wasnt suspicious about the open doors. Turns out, the car had a long-lingering marijuana smoke smell. I think the Sacramento staff had to know it, but they were happy to get rid of it with me. Even after driving it for over two weeks, I was told by the Enterprise agent in Phoenix where I returned the car that he could still smell it.I contacted Sacramento Enterprise about my bad experience and have received a partial refund. I was not happy about having a smelly car, but I really was not happy that I feel like they knew it was smelly (yeah, have the doors open when we show it to her and hope she doesnt notice) and just tried to get rid of it. I feel like the rental agents did a high five when I drove it off the lot. And now poor Phoenix has to take care of it.The car itself (besides the smell) was great. I think it could have used new windshield wipers.
My wife and I took a 10 day trip down the coast of California. We rented a SUV but when arrived to Sacramento airport they gave us a van and apologized and said to call tomorrow morning and exchange. I did and the young gentlemen got us set up right away even rushed us so we could make or destination on time. The car went through the whole coast and held up great! When we returned the vehicle to San Diego airport the guys checking in there were awesome. Everyone we encountered through enterprise were just fantastic and make our trip easy! We always use enterprise its just very convenient!
I had no issues with this Enterprise location. In fact, they did a great job overall. The car I rented was very clean and returning the vehicle was super easy as well. The big issue I have is with the Rewards program. I rented a Van from May 2020 to August 2020. That was a 4 month rental. Enterprise was able to add 1 month of rental rewards to my account but failed to add the other months. When I returned my van in August, I was told that my rewards points would be added to my account automatically. Two months went by and my points we’re still no reflecting, so I called the Vallejo enterprise to inquire about my points. I was told by their manager (female) that they would look into it and get it added and as they informed me that was an easy request. I was informed it could take a week to reflect. This never happened. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I inquired with the rewards program if my points would ever be added and I was told they are not able to add it as it is now more then 6 months since my rental. This was the wrong answer and I am still trying to speak with management about this. I have been requesting a call back from management and corporate so that this can be addressed. I will not let this issue slide as I am being punished for someone at Enterprise no doing their job. The customer service experience has been bad as I am still waiting after almost a month to speak to upper management about my situation. For all renters, please follow up with your rewards points. They say it is deposited automatically but that was not the case. They also don’t respond to your requests. Good luck reaching management with their loyalty program. They are non responsive.
Poor customer service from Ben and his manager. Multiple rental corporations in the the building. Ive used Enterprise through corporate accountant previously and this visit gave me flashbacks of the trash visits in Colorado. Accused my partner and of fraud at this location. We reserved a vehicle over the internet and confirmed everything was alright through Enterprise corporate.
The car was great and the service was fine except for the employee who fast talked the upsells. She didnt mention, or skimmed over, that locking in the gas rate meant prepaying the entire tank, and I didnt realize this until I saw the total amount due. She also got a little pushy trying to sell the additional insurance. If I want in a rush I would have taken it off but I didnt want to spend the time dealing with her. It just felt intentionally manipulative in order to squeeze a little more money out of a client.
Once again, Enterprise Rent-A-Car came through for me. Customer service was prompt, polite, attentive, and interested in my vehicle needs. The vehicle I chose and rented proved clean and completely up to the task for which I required it during my eleven day travel and business plan. I will continue renting from Enterprise, do doubt.
The service was great. The car was not what I was expecting. When I rent a car, generally the rental is nicer than what I have at home. Not this time. I rented a full size car. It was a 2020 Chevy Malibu. 2 things I immediately noticed. The tire pressure monitor sensor came up. One tire was low. I took care of that. The other issue is that the car kept telling me it needed an oil change. That makes it look like enterprise doesnt pay attention to the maintenance of the cars they have in their fleet. Also, it had the auto stop the engine feature, so that when at a stop light and the restart when you hit gas. I didnt like that. The service folks were outstanding in both Sacramento and San Jose. I will be renting again from enterprise again as this is the only time I have not had an outstanding experience.
We arrived at the business to find ONE two door car available for 4 adults. We were then offered to upgrade to a 4 door SUV. We feel the upgrade should have been offered at no additional charge. The reservation had been made in advance. The vehicle was listed as a non smoking vehicle but it clearly had been smoked in. We have always used Enterprise but in the future this will not be my first choice in rental cars
Everything went flawlessly from the pickup to the return. I always use Enterprise and have never had a problem with them. Everything is so easy from the online ease of renting to the pickup and return at the airport. And the reduced rates I get through Moose International are the best! Great place to rent a car!!!
The SUV rented Enterprise said was comparable to 6 cylinder was only a 4 cylinder. Not good.. Also there was a mechanism you had to engage before it would shift into drive that was never explained. The agents should get into the drivers seat and physically show you how to start the car, and use the functions of the car. If you dont have a car similar to the one you rented,, the how would you know how to operate it? The newer cars have touch screens etc. We werent familiar with. It would also keep the customer more safe. Please reevaluate the process.
This place was great!!! I cant remember the young mans name that checked me in on Friday 4/3/21 in the morning, but he was so nice and fun to talk to! He even pulled my car around to the front! And the gentleman who took my car back on 4/10/21 was very nice and made sure that I enjoyed my car while on my trip! I highly recommend them. Customer service was outstanding and that is hard to come by now days. Will definitely book through them again on my next work trip!
Enterprise was amazing. Traveling solo with four kids, so I prized their efficiency and helpfulness. Our agent was amazing (I forget her name but she was petite and brunette). We discussed a larger vehicle which she had brought up to the curb to save some tired kids the walk and dragging their luggage. The Explorer Max was gorgeous. Immaculate, well appointed and a dream to drive. It was so nice, I might be upgrading our family vehicle when we return home.
I enjoyed leasing a vehicle from Enterprise. The only blemish is I did not get the compact car I expected. I got a Mitsubishi Mirage. A bicycle tire is larger than the Mirage. That was the only car that was available although I was offered a Toyota 4 runner. I leased the car for a business trip and drove nearly 1k miles in 3 weeks. The car was not comfortable and exchanging it was not an option. Especially since there were no other Enterprise locations on the area. I
I want to say I have rented from this location about six times. My enterprise history, goes way back. My reservation before last, was for a 35 day rental. On two different vehicles there were some mechanical issues (complete fluke since Ive rental with them before and they were brand new 2021 vehicles) they were so nice and friendly to get me into a different vehicle. Main concern was for us to make it, and be safe.I had to stay in California for six weeks. I had to bring up a lot of medical supplies and some other items. Well, with the cool chest my husband brought my stuff didnt fit in the back of our vehicle. We were so stressed with how I was going to get it all home. We instantly thought of enterprise. They remembered me and luckily right now trucks are not popular and we were able to get into one. I cannot praise this location enough for being so nice to me. All of them remembering me and willing to be able to help me out. They are busy, but so.willing to.still go above and beyond for each customer makes me live them more. I will be back end of April to rent again!
We appreciate the prompt and friendly service we experienced when we arrived in Sacramento. The Grand Caravan was clean, dependable and perfect for our needs in our travels. I still feel a $1,000 for 5 days use is a bit steep. Not happy about that but we needed transportation. Also appreciated the ease in returning the van as well.Thank you, Robin Miller
We recently went on a week vacation in California. We flew into Sacramento airport and chose enterprise as our rental car place. We’ve been using enterprise every time we travel. This time it was a bit disappointing. The car wasn’t clean like usual. The windshield was so dirty on the inside, when driving , the sun was making it almost impossible to see out of. We stopped and bought gas cleaner and cleaned it out selves. Also- the guy helping us talked me into pre paying for gas. Well, we ended up returning the car with a full tank and we were still charged a $55 fee. I was told I’d only be charged IF it was returned anything less than full.
Rarely, do I rent cars. But, the trip from PA to CA necessitated us to rent a car. I selected Enterprise because a family member uses this agency for his business travel and has good experiences. On the travel day, we arrived to the Enterprise rental counter 30 minutes early for the pre-determined pick up time. The staff (all 4 behind the counter at the time) were friendly and attentive as I walked up to to confirm our reservation. Not only did Enterprise allow us to pick up the car early, they upgraded us (at no extra fee) to a larger vehicle! They saw our 7 (XL suitcases) and upgraded us- probably feeling that we’d be too confined in the previously arranged SUV.It was an easy, fast, efficient, and seamlessly pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend Enterprise
My last two rental from Enterprise at the Sacramento Airport have not been good. While we were upgraded from a midsize to Camero at no additional charge, there were some serious issues. We had to decline the first car as it had severe paint and damage to the vehicle. The second Camero has had cosmetic damage to the vehicle but it also smelled like smoke. On my most recent trip, the car we had as was not clean. The windows were filthy and only one of the wind shield wiper sprayers worked. With a few miles of leaving the airport, we received a warning light that the car needed maintenance. I rent from enterprise in many locations and have never had some many recent challenges. The Sacramento locations needs to step up their game in terms of vehicle care and condition when handing off to a customer.
This was a horrible experience. After arriving at the airport we went to the Enterprise counter only to find that they had closed it! No mention of it or notification to us of the closure. We were directed to go to the Alamo car rental agency for our car. You can imagine the line that had formed when both of the car rental agencies were now combined. It was long! Very frustrating. We will not use Enterprise again. The least they could have done was to send us an email telling us what they did and what we were suppose to do in order a get a car. I would give them zero stars if I could.
Overall, my experience at Enterprise was the best rental experience in all the years I have been renting cars from this company.I want to give a big, special shout out to my service representative in Sacramento, I believe her name was Sashi. She was so very friendly, helpful, and willing to do her job in the most professional manner.Because there were no available cars that I had chosen, she gave me an upgrade and was happy to do so.When I got in the car, she was willing to help with a couple of things I did not understand.Look forward to doing business again, hopefully, in December.Thank you,Debra Ritchey
As always, a pleasant overall experience. However, I am quite disappointed in the availability of vehicles at this time. I would suggest in the future assuring you have the replacement vehicles in hand before selling off your stock. As in everything today, it is easy to blame Covid-19, but the seven “P”s taught in my youth still apply (Proper Prior Planning Prevents P*ss Poor Performance).
I had mistakenly reserved a rental car at the wrong Sacramento location, and the guy behind the counter whose name I have unfortunately forgotten now was so helpful in getting me a new reservation, and actually bringing the total cost down from what I had been able to find online. All in all ended up being way more convenient to book in person, which I wasn’t expecting. Thanks.
Good car, too expensive. Flexible terms. No one told this gray hair how to make his phone talk to the car. Figured it out eventually when the car decided to start talking to me so I could download the necessary app. I own a 2014 stick shift, no fancy screens. Its great, though, with Android Auto. Who knew?
We were provided with a Kia Soul, a miserable excuse for a car. However it did the job and ran well except for wanting to pull to the right. Alignment? Also the engine would shut down at stop lights/signs until we figured out on YouTube to disable that annoying feature. The car was black. I wonder why a car rental company would by cars in black. Not very visible I would think. The staff was friendly, the car ran, and we had no trouble so I would rent from Enterprise again.
They were well organized and checking in to get my vehicle went very smoothly and fairly quickly as well. Dropping off my car after my rental dates was even FASTER and EASIER!!! I was quite pleased with how they are set up! The ONLY thing I will say is, when I picked up my car, I was upgraded (free) because they didnt have any of the car I reserved which was really nice and as we checked the car before I took it, the attendant asked me to check inside and then said Make sure you dont smell any smoke or anything and everything looks good I remember thinking Thats an odd statement to make (seeing the No Smoking sticker on the windshield....) but I looked inside and sniffed (mind you the car was NOT running at the time) and said to the attendant that the car looked clean and smelled clean. So I got in and drove away, turned on the air conditioner and THERE IT WAS - Cigarette Smoke smell - STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i had to deal with that HORRID smell my entire time of having the car. Had i had the time, I would have gone back and told them and asked for another car, but I didnt. NOW I know why the attendant asked that question of me. I REALLY wish the car was running at the time he asked because I would have had a very different answer! Other than that, it was a great experience and I will use them again but i WILL make sure the car is running with the AC on when I inspect the car and how it looks and smells before taking it!!
At first I was very impressed with the service, I had set up in advance the rental of 2 different cars for two legs of my business trip to CA. First flying into Sacramento. This part went great, they were fast to get me on the road considering the line they had, and even supplied me a larger SUV than I had booked. Was worried when I brought it back because i had a fender bender in a parking lot with it, but they made it easy and were understanding processing quickly to get me to the airport. Then I was flying down to Burbank for the 2nd leg of my journey. That day ended up being a disaster because of SF delays (my stop over) and after losing several hours I was happy see when i finally landed in Burbank and turned my phone back on that a email was sent to me confirming my rental was waiting for me. So I promptly went over to the remtal car area only to find Enterprise was closed and all staff were gone. This was even after I had supplied my flight # and arrival time which they confirmed! Thank god AVIS still had a rep working who was very nice to help me get a car from them. Needless to say AVIS has earned my respect amd appreciation, Enterprise just dropped several points.
Getting car took no more than the usual time, since the same employee does the paperwork, takes you out to the vehicle and walks it with you to check for damage. Returning the vehicle was super fast. It took us longer to get our stuff out than it did for them to scan the info. Receipt is emailed.
**********. WOW! AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Stars Ratings to Infinity and Beyond. I havent used Enterprise Rent-A-Car for a long time. That was my loss. From the moment I rented it online on their website, to the check in, to the car, to the gentleman who showed me all of the features of the car and how to use them, and turning it in. I couldnt be MORE HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. Huge shout out to the team in Sacramento. They put customer service first, and in the 30 years I have been renting cars while traveling, Ive never experience customer service like this before! BRAVO team! I WILL ALWAYS USE ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR in the future!!! Goodbye, Hertz, Avis and Thrifty! THANK YOU!!!!! See you soon!
We reserved a mid size SUV but when we got to the counter we were informed that all they had was a very large SUV. Time at the counter was minimal and the staff was friendly and they said they could get us a smaller SUV but it would take some time and it was already 10:30 pm so we just took the larger vehicle. We returned the large SUV a few days later because it was just too big and we went through $60 in gas and didnt drive too much. We exchanged it for a smaller vehicle and the staff was very friendly and fast. We will definitely use Enterprise again but will insist on a smaller car next time. Overall Very good.d
Great experience renting a car from Enterprise in Sacramento Airport to go up to lake Tahoe. I received a call from Enterprise about a week prior to my reservation to confirm it. Once I arrived there were multiple agents on site where I received quick, efficient and friendly service from one of them. The agent also offered different cars to choose from which was nice. Thank you
Always seamless with Enterprise. First time renting from SMF and they didnt dissapoint in the least bit. We only rent from Enterprise so I cant really leave an unbiased review. But then, why would I leave my comfort zone? Ive been renting from them for over 20 years, never a bad experience...that was at the hands of the company anyways.
The car they gave me needed alignment once I drove on the highway it started swerving. Did not feel safe and returned car 4 days before return date.Again I did not feel safe. I get the cars come and go but those needs have to be met because safety should be priority. After return exiting was a pain . And they also over charged me..... only at this location tho
I rented for one month. Beginning rental went very smoothly even when I returned complaining it was too heavily scented with perfume. They gave me another car with no problems. Then when I returned the car, I asked to return at a different location, they did not charge me a drop off fee and paid for a ride to my newly purchased car so I would not have to wait for their shuttle. They did not hesitate to offer to pay for the ride. I was very impressed. I like being an Enterprise Plus member.
Everyone we spoke with or had to deal with were very courteous and helpful. We requested a midsize SUV. Turns out they didnt have any available so they put us in a full size SUV and we were quite happy with it. Their check in and check out (return) process was very streamlined and problem-free. We were not hit with any surprise charges. They offered us upgrades, insurance and different add-ons but didnt make us feel uncomfortable by bombarding us with them either. Very pleased with our business through Enterprise.
The rep who helped me didnt let me know how much im being charge for an upgrade. I reserved for a mid-size sedan and they wanted to offer me a Kia Rio which is a downsize vehicle. The rep tried telling me that a Kia Rio is a bigger size then what they have available. It’s not true. Ive driven that car. Enterprise is supposed to keep their professionalism alive by taking first hands on doing the walk around and checking the car with customers. That didnt happen either. I did that walk myself and check the vehicle in and out to make sure everything is in one piece. If the rep arent excited, we cant feel the same excitement renting at Enterprise.
Staff was very nice and I received my car with in a few minutes of arriving from my flight. I had to call to change my drop off location, which was done without a problem. Drop off was just a fast or faster when I pick the rental up and again the staff was nice. I recommend Enterprise Rental for there great prics and alway knowledgeable friendly staff.
I picked up the car and it seemed to be a little worse for wear. I drove it to Mt Shastaand Saturday a malfunction light came on that said to check the Owners Manual. Its a rental car,so there isnt an Owners Manual in it. Also, it happened at night, Enterprise is closed. Sunday comes, light comes on again andEnterpise is closed. The light came on four or five times. I called in Monday morning andspoke to a woman who said I needed to call Roadside Service. I said I am on my way back to you, I dont have time to call Roadside Service and the car should have been checked out before I ever picked it up. Again, its a rental car. When I dropped it off, I explained what happened and the man said I was charged a late fee to which I said I dropped it off earlier that I had originally said. Its all about customer service Enterprise and you are seriously lacking in this area. I am calling my bank to dispute.I am re reviewing Enterprise at Sacramento Airport. They ended up refunding me one day of the rental charge. They obviously are very concerned about giving great customer service and after my initial review, they took necessary steps to correct the problem.
I always appreciate the polite, friendly approach of the staff at Enterprise. Its nice to be treated as a person, not a number. The staff person who completes the rental transaction always gives me a choice of vehicle models within my rental category, which I like. A couple of times Ive asked to make a change, and they have accommodated me without any problem. I also like that Im always asked how I liked the vehicle when I return it. Ive never had complaints, but its good to know I can say something if I need to about my experience right when I return the car.
Car rentals are EXPENSIVE these days, especially when they add on insurance. (By the way... DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE ON ORBITZ or those other sites when renting in Mexico, because Mexico does not accept those coverages!!) This time around (from SMF for four days), I was given a free upgrade to a BMW... and that was fun!
Enterprise consistently offers good services and quality cars at competitive prices. Four stars, however, due to my latest rental having surprisingly dirty windows (on the inside). I had to get some window cleaner and paper towels and clean them myself. Otherwise the rest of the car was tidy and in good order.
Everything about my rental experience was smooth sailing. I rented online and compared some other offers from other vendors and Enterprise had the best deal for a full sized car. We landed, rode the shuttle to the rental place, check in was smooth. I had a couple of choices for my full sized cars. The one I got was excellent. No issues with the car. It was clean and full tank (which I like because its way easier to just fill it up before drop off than try to gauge how much I used). Drop off was super easy and took less than 5 minutes truly. We barely had our luggage out and the girl was done and my receipt was emailed to me and printed out (i think). I would use again, especially if I earn points that I can use to upgrade or get cheaper rentals next time.
I picked up two vehicles at Sacramento Airport. I got one for my business trip and one for my wife and Grand Daughter for a dental appointment. When we returned the cars at the same time, we filled them both up at the gas station at the airport. Both cars were returned at the same time, but to two different agents. Mine was no problem, but once we got home and were looking at the receipts for my wifes rental, we were charged for 2 gallons of gas at $5.12 a gallon. I do not understand after filling both cars up and driving 1/4 mile to return them, we should be charged $10.24 for gas. I have NEVER had this happen before! If we would have been given a receipt at the airport, I would have caught it then. But the receipts were sent to my email and was not caught till later at home. This is wrong to charge this to a loyal business customer, especially when we had just filled the tank less than 1/4 mile earlier! I am entitled to a refund of the $10.24, but I doubt I get it.
When we brought our rental back I asked the representative (Stephen Cha)that helped us if they had a wheel chair we could use for my husband they did not…but he said I will drive you to your terminal. I felt this was above and beyond what they had to do and greatly appreciated them doing this for us. Thank you Stephen!
Extremely friendly check in desk staff, easy paperwork and a speedy return process made this a very positive rental experience. All the car rentals are in the same offsite facility and you have to take a bus to get there. But the buses were frequently and it was a smooth process.
Completely painless rental car process. Went in, and the representative walked me to my car. He was extremely pleasant, and there was no mass of paperwork to wade through. I signed on a tablet, and all receipts and agreements were e-mailed to me, so I had them on my phone. When I returned it, the attendants were quick, printed me a hard-copy receipt, and I was on my way. As I was on the ground for about 2 hours and needed a quick turn-around, this service was greatly appreciated. I will most likely use Enterprise for my rental car needs next time as well. Thank you for a great experience. :-)
Horrible experience!! I put my personal car on my rental keys and accidentally handed it to the representative while checking my rental vehicle back in. While at the airport, I realized I forgot to take my car key off the rental car key chain and called the Enterprise located at the Sacramental international airport right away. The first person I spoke to said my key was most likely dropped off with lost and found and that the lost and found department already closed for the day. I explained to the rep that it just happened and if they could check for me. They placed me on hold but the call was disconnected. When I tried calling back, the call kept getting transferred to their customer service department, which was not on property. I called 7 times and did not get ahold of anyone that could help me. I filed a lost and found claim online and they emailed me back saying my item was not found even though I just handed it to the representative. I know for sure they have it but what they did with it, is a mystery. I will try to call the corporate phone number in the morning but I could not get through with them either. I might have to send out an email next, but so far I have not received any help from a person and this process has been ridiculous and extremely stressful!!
I arrived a little earlier to pick up the car but they did not have the car and offered me a SUV instead. Any other day I would of taken it but I needed a car with a trunk. Long story short, the car was ready but it was not properly cleaned. The car was scratched and dented all around. Body oil stains (fingerprints, armrest areas) were found everywhere inside the front cabin area. I was in a hurry and drove away not very satisfied. My companion was also angry. Other than that, the car ran great and completed my travel arrangements without any other issues.I use Enterprise (for work) and Midway (personal) for my car rentals and I would probably continue to do so.
I had a great experience at this Enterprise Rent-a-car location at Sacramento airport. Was very little waiting and the staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The person who helped with my transaction walked me to the attendant outside, let me choose which model from the class I reserved, then took me to that car and did a walk around check with me and even notice a few minor blemishes that I did not see and noted them just in case on the inspection ticket. Then made sure I was familiar with the cars instruments and features, gave clear directions how to exit. Very friendly, professional and thorough and good price and alue. I would definitely recommend this Enterprise to any travelers and anyone needing a rental car.
Excellent service. Easy and hassle free pick up/drop off. The employee was kind enough to let me pick whatever car I wanted from my category and he did not try to up sell any insurance. When I dropped off the car the employee noticed I had my 8 month baby and instead of letting me walk and take the bus to the terminal he asked another employee to drop me off at the terminal so I won’t have to carry the baby around. Highly appreciated and thoughtful of him. I’d definitely use Enterprise at this location again.
So I originally started using Enterprise when my car would be in the shop. Even for a single day they always take great care of you. Make sure you create an account and it never hurts to ask for an upgrade. Personally I have never had to ask for an upgrade they always seem to slide me up a notch. The service reps are always professional and friendly. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
All your People and efficient to take care and address our needs for travel and transportation. The car we had was fantastic and clean and pretty new and very comfortable. In California where the gas is some serious $$, It was a gas efficient Vehicle. Thanks for a great car and valued Price.
Picked up our rental at SMF airport in California on 1 May 2021. My first post-pandemic trip! Two weeks in CA and NV visiting relatives. We were offered a VW Jetta sedan or a different model of car. The Jetta was sparkling clean, had extra cleaning wipes inside, and was fully loaded to boot! The check in process was quick, the agent brought the car to us, and we were on our way to northern California in no time! The turn in was just as quick and all agents were friendly and very, very professional. Great job!
My plans kept changing and Enterprise worked with me and in the end all was good! When I first arrived for a one way rental they did not have the size car I had requested. They offered me an SUV at the same price, which normally I would have liked but since I was going to be driving a lot, I didnt want the extra fuel cost. They were finally able to release the correct size car and we went on our way. The car was comfortable and clean, no problems. Our plans changed again and we ended up returning to the same location, I expected a change fee but was pleasantly surprised when the whole thing was half the original price.
I had requested a Chevy Tahoe, but was provided a Nissan Armada with more than 50K miles, apparently it qualifies in the same vehicle class. The ergonomic design of the Armada is terrible, it took some time to figure out how to operate various dash controls to obtain needed information and to make the data screen display correctly. The AC was marginal, barely blowing even on high/max. We did a lot of mountain driving in and around Yosemite, and to Reno, NV. Vehicle had sufficient power for sustained climbing, but overall didnt like it, and would have MUCH preferred the requested Chevy Tahoe, and would have preferred a newer vehicle.
This review is for the excellent customer service I received at the Sacramento Airport Enterprise Rent-A-Car location. After making a reservation for a minivan more than two months in advance, and confirming my reservation a few days prior to arrival, I was a little frustrated when informed upon checking in that there were no minivans available at this location. Fortunately, the Enterprise folks were very accommodating and upgraded me to a premium vehicle with equivalent seating capacity - and gave me a generous discount to boot. Very satisfied with the service I received.
We were able to get our rental car fairly easy. The gentleman who took us to the car was very professional and polite. We received an up grade to a Lincoln Navigator (I believe others wanted a smaller vehicle). The Lincoln Navigator has too many touch buttons. It handled nicely, however I would not like to drive this vehicle again; to many gadgets.Employees were great. Thanks
Our experience started out great. Our customer service agent was great and very friendly. Where things got sour, were when we got in the car to drive away. The car was labeled as a non smoking car. My husband and I are both non smokers and the smell of cigarette smoke actually nauseates me. Our car smelled as if someone had been chain smoking in it. Now, normally I would have just written it off, but we had just been traveling all day from Maryland to California wearing our face masks all day long. All I wanted was fresh air and to relax on our 1.5hr drive (mind you we just had a 12 hour drivel day with masks on). So for that hour and a half drive, I had to smell one of the worst smells even with the windows down. The reason I didn’t say anything before we left was because, our agent had already had us set up and he had gone back into the building before I got in the car.(I wanted to stand and stretch outside before having to sit down again for awhile) And once I did get in the car the smell hit me like a brick wall. I thought maybe once we started driving and put the windows down, the smell would get better. It did not. So please if you are labeling a car as non smoking, make sure it wasn’t previously used by a smoker.
Picked up car rental at the Sacramento airport, they didnt have the small car we originally requested which was fine. They actually ended up upgrading us at no additional cost. I dropped off at the Chico location and the staff there was very nice, professional and provided a thorough car inspection. Would definitely rent again.
First and foremost, I always rent my cars at Sacramento International Airport. I live in the surrounding area so the weird hours they are open make it convenient.I dont like how they change locals a $250 deposit to rent a car. Ridiculous, and the only reason Im giving 4 stars. Now, I reserved a full size vehicle and as we walked past the luxury cars I saw a 2019 Dodge ChallengerSR/T. The Enterprise employee who was assisting me to my car saw me looking and mentioned the upgrade was only $19.99. I said, Ill take it!Loved the car (buying one soon) and the service was smooth, quick and pain-free. Even the return was a great experience. The attendant was super nice and asked if I had a ride lined up. Loved the service and I will be returning again.
Totally worth it. Customer service was excellent and the people working there were very friendly. Whole process was quick and very smooth.Enterprise is one of the only rental cars i use an more. The experience is just so much better. I have been duped by low cost rentals before and will never use them again. They are the same cost or more after hidden fees and have made them expensive or I have spent a long time at the retail site just to get all the paper work done. Just use Enterprise. They are so much better every time.
Not only did Enterprise have a better rate than most of the other car rentals we researched (got a Toyota Corolla for a four-day-weekend for about $80); not only did this location offer us a free upgrade to a minivan (which I didnt take, because Im not the kind of guy who drives a minivan); not only was their service fast and friendly on both sides of the transaction; but whe we showed up to return the car with our baby and all the luggage inside, the staff drove us around to the departures entrance in the car and then helped us unload all the luggage - so we didnt have to fuss with the tram back to the terminal. This was without a doubt the best car rental experience Ive ever had.
Always helpful but this time received a car that was smaller than we expected. After driving it for a day I decided to ask for a car more of the size that we had expected. No problem. Called and went to a local Enterprise facility and they said Sure with no argument or extra charges. Will continue to us Enterprise whenever we need a rental and will recommend them to everyone.
With all the activities to coordinate for travel, reserving the car through Enterprise was the easiest. They maintained their ease to work with as everyone we met was on top of things, respectful of my time. I greatly appreciated it. The car ran without need to call for help; the car had less than 400 miles on it! Upon return, it was a quick return process. It was great the entire process; everyone I spoke with or provided service was on the same page: Customer Service! Looking forward to the next time! Thank you, Enterprise
I have earned platinum membership with Enterprise and have rented with them throughout the year many times in many different locations. I usually use a debit card. This past vacation, the Sacramento Airport location was the hardest time I have ever had. They asked me to show proof of my airline return ticket so when I did they said I had to rent the car for my entire stay. I mentioned that I only rented 1 week with them and another week with another company and I was not aware of this new policy. In the end I needed a vehicle and had to have a hold on my debit card for about $700 because I had to have the rental for over 2 weeks. This was a horrible experience and I do not plan to rent with enterprise at the Sacramento Airport again. Horrible customer service. If I could give them negative stars. I most definitely would.Imagine being on vacation and this was the beginning and end of your trip. It was a horrible inconvenient experience.
We were very impressed with Enterprise after using other rental car agencies during the past year. We made our reservation via internet and received an unexpected double upgrade which was wonderful. We did have a break-in of our rental vehicle and when we exchanged our vehicle for another, we continued to receive another double upgrade. We had no hassle at all with the exchange of vehicles and Maggie at the Enterprise Emergency made sure that we were taken care of. Looks like well be using Enterprise again with our very good experience.
My last rental experience was the worst I have ever experienced. When I first walked up to the counter I was told they have no vehicles available without a reservation. I went online and booked a reservation and walked right back to the counter.- I was told I was being given a complimentary upgrade1. The car was a Kia Soul, not much of an upgrade2. The car had close to 50,000 miles on it (Enterprise has a policy of not sending cars with more than 25,000 miles on them)3. The car smelled like it had been driven across the country by a cigar smoker (it was pouring rain and I was in a rush when I picked it up, did not pay attention until I was already on the highway)4. The driver seat had stains and a cigarette burn hole in it.5. The registration was expired6. The interior was dirty, vacuumed but not cleanedWhen I returned the vehicle and told the attendant, she immediately took the vehicle out of service. The manager would only grant a 50% discount and nothing towards future rentals.Very, very disappointed in this experience with Enterprise.
We arrived to Sacramento airport after a long flight from Florida on December 5th - happy and excited about our skiing vacation in Lake Tahoe. Our excitement did not last long as we discovered that our car reservation was screwed up and the rental place we originally booked through was not going to do anything except for making us wait for 4 hours to get our vehicle. We could not afford losing 4 hours out of our travel day and started looking for alternative options. We approached several rental places in the same building and the staff was quoting prices with what almost felt like an attitude (apparently it was busy and some counters seemed short staffed)or simply said they had nothing to offer due to the vehicle shortage. We were so lucky to meet Kevin Sun at Enterprise. At that moment it felt he was the only person who really cared to help us and sincerely said: “Let me see what I can do for you”. Kevin took his time to learn about vehicle specifics we were looking for, checked the inventory with the back office, presented us with different options and was very honest and upfront about the pricing and company policies. He was so professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly - he truly made our day! Without hesitation we cancelled our original reservation and booked 8 days with confidence through Enterprise. What a difference can one person make - and for us it was Kevin that day. He saved our vacation, well the first day for sure!I want to encourage the company to recognize Kevin for his superior customer service skills. We are truly grateful for all he has done for us. Above and beyond the expectations - way to go Kevin!Needless to say, we received a great vehicle we needed for all our sports equipment and enjoyed our vacation. Not taking chances with car rental places - Enterprise, we will see you again very soon. Thanks Kevin!
After an absolutely horrible experience with Hertz, we cancelled our reservation last minute and walked over to Enterprise. Gracie and Monique helped us out. They were incredibly friendly, very cordial, and gave us an all around perfect customer service experience. We went from no reservation to leaving the lot in 15 minutes. Thank you both for putting us back in a good mood after a rough morning! 10/10 will use Enterprise in the future.
Reservation process was clear and easy. At counter support was helpful (to a degree) and quick. However, our vehicle had an overwhelming unpleasant smell and looked as if it had never been cleaned before we got it. It was brought to the attention of the agent as there was the exact car sitting next to us in the hopes of an exchange. Unfortunately we told that vehicle was unavailable. We were given other options but the other vehicles were smaller and of a different class than what we paid for. We decided to just go with it after flying for 8 hours with kids. Sadly, the smell never left and just got worse on days left in the sun. We also reported the smell to the agent at drop off but it didn’t seem to be a issue of concern.
I travel a lot and rent many cars all over the country. I have used several rental companies, but I always go back to Enterprise. Their customer service is top notch and without peer. The Sacramento location is great. Its easy in and out and the staff are friendly and helpful. My last visit I had to wait about 10 minutes for them to bring the pickup truck I had reserved from the back. Since I had to wait, they paid for 1/2 a tank of gas. In a pickup truck, that isnt insignificant. I didnt complain about the wait, they simply offered the gas in order to make sure I was a delighted customer. I was.
The type/model of car I reserved was not available and the agent tried to convince me that a van or a pickup truck would be suitable because that was all they had left on the lot. I refused both. The agent then went to see what was in the return lot and after a bit of a wait suggested a mid sized SUV. I also requested/purchased a full tank of gas but when I was a few miles away from the lot I noticed that the tank only had one eighth remaining, so it was back to the rental lot. Otherwise all else went well. I especially like the easy return process.
I rented an economy car on Oct 31st at the Sacramento Airport. On Nov. 3rd a malfunction light came on so Enterprise towed it back to the airport and offered me the only available vehicle, a van. I had to find a ride to go pick up the van. I was told there would be no change in price. I got the van on Nov. 4th, and discovered that it was costing me another $100 since they closed the first agreement and started a new one. They did give me some discounts, but I dont feel that I should have been charged more when I had already been inconvenienced and it was the only vehicle available. Also, it had no windshield fluid and at one point I had to pull over and rinse the windshield with all the water from my water bottle so I could see. I am an Enterprise Plus member, and feel that I should not have had to pay extra in this situation.
Everything went fine from a technical standpoint, and one of the people I interacted with at the counter was pleasant. However, when I was walked out to my vehicle the enterprise people who gave me the car seat were fairly rude and seemed annoyed that they had to stop their conversation to tell me that they couldn’t help with the install of the car seat (which is fine, I understand legal reasons and whatnot) and the person who did the car check with me was also a bit rude and just kept pressing the additional insurance on the car even after I declined and stated that my insurance covers everything I need. It’s car rental, so I know it will never be perfect, but the Enterprise employees could at least be a little less bothered by having to interact with their customers.
Best rental car experience Ive ever had. The folks were thoughtful, thorough, and made sure that we had a good experience. They opened an extra check-in line to speed things. Clearly explained all details of the contract. Did not push for extras. Brought our car to us, because we had so much baggage. Explained features and details of the car.Enterprise has made a new fan. Ill use them exclusively if I have the option.
Serious waste of time if you are traveling for family emergency. Every other place was closed on a Saturday afternoon so a friend went out of their way to drop me off here. Id reserved through their website online beforehand. At arrival they turned me away. Apparently not only do they not accept debit cards they wont even take CASH. Never heard of such a business. Employee says do you know anyone who can use their major credit card so now already late my friend drives all the way back and they sent us again because one person paying had to be the driver and two I wasnt arriving on a flight?! They didnt value my time due to spelling out long irrelevant policies to me when I just needed a set of wheels with cash in hand and great insurance history. If that information is on theit website they sure do disguise it well I understand this location does not design the entire website but for the company as a whole their beloved policies certainly dont care about wasting your time! I cant speak to their actual driving experience but here is an FYI to anyone who might be in my situation be aware they are quite restrictive.
The customer service is very poor. I rent OFTEN from Enterprise, and every time I pick up a car, the representatives do not recognize their loyal customer. They give you different car than what you ask for and the paperwork in never ready before you arrive even though the reservation is made weeks in advance. I highly recommend to review their service processes and have training for better customer service. to be fair, It is not at all locations, but it is becoming a normal practice.
Was pleased with the new Audi. However, the car would not lock by pushing he appropriate button on the door. It was necessary to lock it with he keys. Why do you insist that we carry two sets of the heavy keys, banded together? It makes no sense, yet everyone does it.
The only car rental company that provides you practically no meaningful advantage to be a rewards member that is loyal to them. Ive been renting with Enterprise for years now, and my experience picking up, dropping off or selecting my car is no different than any person walking off the street renting with them for the first time. Id love to hear from them on why I should continue renting from them instead of switching to another company that actually provides real perks to frequent travelers who are loyal. The employees are all nice so this is not about the service you get when youre there.
Really quick service and friendly staff. They got me from the counter the car in less than 5 minutes which is great after a long flight. The car was a 2018 model and very clean, and they offered me an upgrade to a small SUV for free which I didnt take but was still nice to be offered. Prices are usually pretty cheap out of Sacramento so Im always happy with that part of the experience.
It was my 1st time renting with Enterprise, and it will not be my last. They had a nice fleet of vehicles, and the staff at the pickup area was friendly and helpful. My only issue, not even a complaint, I had a second car reserved because I was swapping out to a smaller car. Once my plans changed, I tried to cancel in a timely manner, two different times, and was told twice, I didn’t need to. It would just be a no show. I felt guilty that I was a no show, and no one will ever know I tried to cancel. But I liked everything about Enterprise.
Hi went to the sacrament airport with a car that had a real brake problem and was told that they had to many reservation to give me a car. And maybe I can call the local office I explained to the manager that my work hours will not work with me goin to a local office so after about 10 minutes of goin back and forth I was told no and that basically the next person reservation is more important then my family’s safety. And I had called to day before I even went down there and about a hr before and was told to come get a new car only to be turned away. They need better customer service.
The car was fine- FYI reserved a Jetta or similar and we got a Hundai Ioniq. The person who delivered the car to us didnt tell us where to drop off the car, and also didnt mention that the drop off shelter DOESNT SAY ENTERPRISE. It doesnt say anything at all.Google directions were incorrect and took us to a closed gate, so just follow the signs to the rental cars when entering the airport. Look for the blue and green awning. Good luck.
I really enjoy renting with Enterprise. It usually takes less than 5 minutes to get me to my car and on my way. additionally, pretty much every location I have been to has had friendly service. Ive even lucked out on a few complimentary upgrades. Recently, I became a Plus member and was able to receive even more discounts for my rentals.
The customer representative who helped me was EXCELLENT!!! The first car they offered me (which I really liked) was actually a recall so we had to go with another option. It took a couple of more tries, but we eventually found the perfect one for me and our family. The young woman remained so polite and accommodating throughout the entire process. It was record heat around that time, but she kept an optimistic attitude that helped me stay calm as well. Thank you for a great experience!
Friendly staff who worked quickly to get us on our way. Provided with new car >10k miles, only minor issue--car kept pinging reminder to have the oil changed. This was a 12 day rental and the change oil reminder started after about 200 miles. They should have expected us to put more than 200 miles on the car and rented this vehicle out for a shorter period--however, no big deal on our end. Will continue to rent from Enterprise in the future--the experience was great!
Reserved a car online - I showed up on time. When approaching the counter I noticed about 10 people seated. I thought that was weird. After I gave the agent my CC and DL he said to wait 10-15 minutes for my car. Well finally got my car after waiting over 30 mins. They must be way understaffed or something. Avoid them if you don’t want to wait for a car.
I would like to provide feedback for the Sacramento airport Enterprise. Ive been utilizing them for a couple of years, as my son now lives there in town. They have always been extremely efficient, professional, courteous, and a great value. They always go the extra mile to ensure that the upgrade vehicle that I often wish to rent is available. They take extra time to make sure it is in good shape and clean.Ive been using them for several years, and their service is always exemplary. I will continue to use them, and I suggest that anyone else who needs rental car service would consider Enterprise.
My rental experience began in an unusual way, with an attempt to up sell me from the Full Size SUV I had agreed to rent to a Premium SUV for a mere $25 more per day of my weekly rental, I declined and was not told about the preexisting body damage to the vehicle I was assigned. On our journey from California to Georgia an object flew at my windshield while we were boxed in by semis in one of the many areas of construction on the interstate. The next morning while cleaning the windshield I noticed the body molding between the drivers door and the windshield was missing and there was double sided tape on the vehicle where it had previously been attached. I returned the vehicle a day early and complained of the damage and the danger we faced because the damage was not disclosed, which was met with a callous response of if the damage was preexisting we would most likely not be charged extra for it although the return agent was able to determine that the damage had been previously recorded before the vehicle was issued to us. 10 days later I received and email from the Damage Recovery Unit, telling my case was closed and the decision had been made to take care of the damages and costs of this claim. Never have I rented from an agency before that did not disclose preexisting vehicle damage, and never have I encountered an agency that has used tape to hide damage that had previously been reported. They expect me to be grateful after they opened a claim against me with out any contact with me or notification to me and then closed it without charging me extra for the damaged vehicle I had to pay to rent.
We waited almost 30 minutes to get a car after waiting 15 minutes checking in at the Enterprise counter. The problem wasnt that there werent cars available but an issue with having enough staff to get customers out to the cars. It was interesting to watch how fast the other five rental car agencies dealt with customers while we waited!Interestingly, Ive given this same feedback before with no response from Enterprise so whats the point??I have been a faithful Enterprise client for many years but this experience and other recent ones may impact my next rental choice.
When we called to get quotes from local Enterprise locations, which are not open on the weekends for pickups or drop offs, the price to rent a minivan from Friday to Monday was over $800. Yet, when we contacted the Sacramento location near the airport, it was approximately $350 and we were able to return it to one close to us.While the minivan was new, clean, and drove nice, the interior smelled of marijuana every time we got in, which was annoying since we do not smoke and there are clearly marked no smoking stickers in the car.Ultimately, the local branches severely overcharge customers and are not open on the weekends when most people actually travel. The only other option is to drive to an airport, which may be hours away but should be open seven days per week, to get a normal price. This business practice of price gouging is a violation of Californias anti-price gouging statute under Penal Code Section 396 that can be reported to the Attorney General. Gather written/printed documentation from online quotes and rental contracts as proof when reporting. Businesses need to be held accountable for unethical conduct.
Normally an outstanding company, however on our most recent trip to Sacaramento we were given a truck to drive that had been previously rented to Cal Fire and used in fighting forest fires. The interior of the truck had an overwhelming smell of smoke. We asked for another truck but was told by the agent that all of the trucks had been used by Cal Fire. Having to get to an appointment we soon found out that the air conditioning was not working properly. It was a 90 degree day and in order to get to out appointment on time we continued on. After the appointment we could no longer put up with the smell and lack of air conditioning and drove 18 miles back to the airport to get another vehicle. The attendant at the return area immediately took care of us and obtained another truck free of the smoke smell. My thought is that surely someone in the cleaning process could smell the smoke and would have called out that the vehicle should not be rented until thoroughly cleaned.
I was able to get a GREAT last minute IBM deal on a rental car. The Enterprise person was provide a n excellent service and she helped me to find the best suitable car for me. The check out was smooth and the return was even better as there was some misunderstanding and they added the few extra service but these guys helped me and removed my extra charges. I really appreciated for this. I will surely commend everyone to go for this and even I will keep taking Enterprise car in future when ever I required.

2022-01-14The entire process of booking a car rental was a breeze. The online experience was amazing up to the actual interaction in the front desk. The staff were nice and informative. It took me less than 10 minutes to complete the transaction. Had an issue with the vehicle I rented and they immediately replaced it with ease. The entire experience was great.

2022-02-01I reserved a full size SUV and was told they did not have one available. The clerk said that I could call the next day to see if they had one and swap if I wanted to. No one wants to drive to the airport if they dont have to. The vehicle was not clean but it was late and I had two crying infants in tow so I just went with what they had. The lady was very accommodating when I ran into issues with my credit card. Enterprise gets 3 stars from me because of those reasons.

2022-05-12The black guy with long dread is TERRIBLE! (This isn’t racial as I am a black woman I didn’t get his name or I would have used it) After our one credit card declined (due to traveling not insufficient funds) we asked for him to run another card which was a red Bank of America cash rewards card (which looks like the bank of America debit card except it doesn’t say DEBIT across the front) he said “i can’t take that it’s a debit card,” after explaining to him I work for BofA and I know what our credit cards VS debit cards look like, he continued to claim he knows best and that his “higher ups” said he couldn’t except it even though he never ran it just looked at it…. We thanked him for his time and went over to Alamo (which is affiliated with enterprise to my knowledge) and had absolutely no problem using the red Bank of America credit card… Huge thanks to Alamo’s manager Eric and customer service worker Shiad for turning this ugly encounter around for us your wonderful service was appreciated! We travel monthly and rent from enterprise every time but we will never rent from them again, please educate your workers on what a credit card is VS a debit card as well as customer service because his was TERRIBLE! I have added a picture of what the credit card VS the debit card looks like…. Thank you for your time

2022-06-01I had to shuttle a group to a wedding and rented 3 minivans from SMF. I was checked out by Hugh who could not have provided better customer service.. The price for these vehicles couldnt be beat. The check out and return was simple and fast. The vehicles were immaculate and well appointed. In fact the window was so clean my son thought hed left it open....

2022-06-06I was lucky there was no line, so getting the vehicle was relatively fast this time around. Returning the vehicle was also efficient and fast. The car was well cleaned, and gas full. But I do miss the dedicated line (for us state workers) that we used to have because that did assure me there is always a vehicle available and the service is quick.

2022-03-21We rented a mini-van months in advance. Van was ready and check-in experience was not overly complicated. Really appreciate the way that Associates engage with customers. Return was super easy. I pointed out that van needed an oil change and I am confident it will be addressed.

2022-01-20The rental was great however what I wasn’t told until I got there is that there was going to be an additional 20% cover charge to me at the time I picked up the rental which resulted in my family having to wait at the airport rental office close to an hour before being able to leave to head to our hotel. Other than that we enjoyed our rental it was very easy to hook up our front facing child seat.

2022-06-03The car was great, the customer service was awesome. However, when we returned the vehicle the gas price said $6.85 and we were charged $7.95 per gallon. A significant increase that was not posted. Since our flight was at 7am and we had an infant with us, we felt it was easier to return with a quarter of a tank missing. The price gouge on the gas is completely unfair, especially since it was not posted. Dishonesty and deception at its best.

2022-06-22When arriving at the Enterprise counter I was a bit early for my reservation, however that was no problem car was ready. Was asked to wait a couple of mins. for an Agent who appeared and showed me to my car. Upon return of the rental at 640 am an Agent appeared and checked me back in. This is the type of customer service I have missed. Thanks for showing the customer they matter.
