RC, Gustavo, Maria and rest of staff has been helpful courteous and friendly as always. I always enjoy my visits at this location especially for rentals. The crew always tries to fulfill my requests as much as possible and reasonable. Esteban was really nice enough to bring me home after returning the rental especially during the expected rain for that day. Thank you always!
Great rental car facility. I never go anywhere else. Enterprise is always my first choice. Customer service is great and they got me a car same day. The Toyota RAV4 they gave me was awesome. What a smooth comfortable ride. Car was clean and sanitized. Return was easy and fast. They offer rides back if it’s local.

Jeremy checked me in and out quick. Great service from him. Returning the truck was easy. Brenten and Briana I think where their names (bad with remembering names) but they made the return process quick and easy and then offered me a ride back which was cool of them. Everyone at the Alhambra location are always polite and professional. If there is any problems they are always quick to fix it and help out in any way.
Im really disappointed. With Enterprise car rental company.My brand new car was hit by my neighbor. And i am using their at fault car insurance. State farm. So i needed to get a car rental from Enterprise rent a car. While my car is at the body shop being repaired. And Enterprise charge me for a $150 deposit for renting their car. Even thought the state farm insurance approved for my car rental. While my car is in the shop. Even thought the car accident was not my fault. As i was not driving my brand new car. My car was park in front of my apartment but the neighbor hit my brand new car due to their neighlegency. Not using appropriately their hand break. So i believe Enterprise should had waive the $150. Deposit. As the neighbor at faulf state farm car insurance is paying for my car rental with Enterprise car rental conpany.
Rented from 11/19/2021 to 11/24/2021. Got a BMW X3 and paid $700.00 for the five day rental.Terrible experience. Made the reservation online. Came to the location site, offered an initial vehicle. Then told there was a check engine light issue, and had taken to another Enterprise to pick up the X3. Vehicles brake pad had major issues. When I called in to inform them of this safety hazard, the woman responded that I should take the car into a local Pep Boys. Called in again the next day, and was told there was no inventory.Drove the next few days with a car that squeaked every time I hit the brake.
Was very happy with theyre customer service, the agent Maria that helped me out with the rental process was very caring and considerate of my situation(currently 31weeks pregnant) and everything is much harder to do, she listened to my needs and managed to get me into a car that met my needs perfectly. Thank you to the whole team at Enterprise Alhambra!!
I was helped by I believe Shawn , very nice young man , super helpful , answered all my questions with respect and professionalism . I also called ahead and some lady on the phone was very nice and attended me , took her time to help . Really nice . I have been customer of enterprise for years now and I value their services 👍
It was terrible. You guys not going to believe the rest of the story. So I came back to this place on Monday to submit a complaint about the representative who seemed emotionally unstable. And also he told me Saturday that I can rent Toyota Corolla for $35 a day. This time it was young guy and I told him that I need to rent the cheapest car which I know is 35 a day. He tells mewe dont have that. I only can rent you for $70 a day. Thats all I have to offer. I asked him how come the Saturday price I was offer is half of what he tells me. He said I dont know I asked for supervisor because obviously someone has to explain the situation. He told me that he is a manager and his name is Joe. And he cant help me. So I went to Enterprise on Main and received amazing customer service and got my car. Lesson to be learned- Dont deal with people who dont care about good reputation.
Quick efficient service. Conveniently located next to Toyota Dealership. Appreciated the courtesy ride and the staffs flexibility in holding a reservation for me. Enterprise will continue to be my choice in rentals!Kudos to Amelia! As well as Jeremy... new hire at the Alhambra Main Branch!
I have rented multiple times from Enterprise and normally their customer service is good. This time it was bad. I was not greeted when I arrived and then one employee started to help and I guess got fed up with my questions because she abruptly left and another employee came out to help and we had to start the process all over again. I felt rushed and the employee didnt even go through their usual talk about the vehicle.
The entire experience was exceptional, everyone was very attentive and personal. I was able to return the vehicle a day early after hours and all you have to do is drop the keys in a drop box. I was very surprised to receive a call the next day from someone letting me know I will not be charged for the last day and asking me how my rental was. I expected an email but definitely not a call. Very nice touch.
Always have gotten my rentals here and the service has always been great. Rental process (as long as you reserve early!) have been smooth and Ive had no issues with the cars Ive rented throughout the years. The staff are very professional and courteous - no complaints!
My experience was good and bad, I purchased my rental through my work website and when asked for proof that I actually worked for the company for a discounted price they wanted a badge which we have but its just to get in and out of our building. I offered to show my health insurance card with company name, pay stubs with company name, 401 k with company name and my W2 which were all denied. In turn the man who showed us the rental cars was extremely nice and even offered a larger vehicle if we wanted it. Next time I will get names.
The place made several call attempts and left messages prior to my reservation to confirm, which was nice. When u arrived there were many folks standing randomly outside waiting. They indicated they were just waiting so I stepped right up to the counter setup outside, which was nice. The person quickly found my reservation, and did the contract really quickly but says the vehicle needs to be cleaned and sanitized. This took a little over an hour (now I understand why everyone was just waiting). After that the car is done and we did the walkthrough and finally we got the car. All the employees were very courteous despite the bottleneck is clearly the vehicle delivery. But I think thats always the case with car rentals.
Alhambra Enterprise was fantastic! They didn’t have a mini van they were happy to offer me so they offered me a 15 passenger van for just a tad more. It was perfect for the trip to Vegas giving everyone, 7 of us, a lot more space! Arianna was amazing and made sure we were happy and satisfied....she even helped the guys out to clean and wash the van! She even greeted us when we returned it. Hector checked us out and he was great too. The check out and in process couldn’t be easier or quicker!
Good and fast, and the consultant gave me other options while its available, which is nice; however, the rental car is kinda mess. Definitely can tell, the previous group put a party inside the car, you can smell the smoke and the mess inside. that took us two whole day to get rid of the smell on our way to las vagas...hope next one will be better
We had a good experience at the enterprise on Main Street in Alhambra. The guy who helped us was very helpful and was able to get us in and out very quickly on the day we went to go pick up the rental. He even went out of his way to clean the vehicle himself rather than having us wait for one the service people do it. He had great customer service overall great experience and will renting from this location on my next rental need.
I have rented through this store before so returning was an easy decision.I set this rental up on-line which was quick and easy.I arrived early to start the rental and was taken quickly through the process.The car was just as expected, maybe a little better though it needed a wash. The wash didnt take long and I was on the road quickly.The return was set up for after hours and it went well also.I highly recommend this store for your auto rental needs,
The good employees balance out the bad at the Alhambra location. One continuing issue has been that the Enterprise Plus discount wouldnt be applied correctly at the end, especially with multi-day rentals. Even when I show employees a screenshot of the original reservation details, most of them brush it off. The error might not be a lot for shorter rental periods, but its a mistake and it should be fixed. 🤷🏻♀️ I wonder how many customers dont catch it. Collectively, it could be quite a bit of savings that customers lost out on.
The Nissan I rented was so roomy for a family of 3 . The car drove very smooth and the check in and out was speedy and thorough. I had the best customer service by the staff I dealt with at the Alhambra location. Will definitely be going back and referring people as well.
I loved the fact that they gave us a 2020 car not some 2010 this Ford fusia was pretty nice and I love the smell of a new car with great AC especially during this hot weather. I cant complain about the stereo sound damn good base just play Keith sweat how deep is your love great song to test hows the stereo sound. When driving super smooth like oil. Great service
-1 star. Worst location ever. I try not to rent from here because they are so disorganized and unprofessional but they were the only ones with the car class of my needs. I called to confirm the car was available. They said it was and they set the reservation. Because I know how terrible this place is I again set another reservation online. I went to pick up the car, waited forever despite how there were several workers, this guy comes to me about the car and said it’s reserved and I can’t have it. I told him I called. He said that was impossible, he said I called the customer service line. I told him I rent often and was sure I called the branch. I told him I spoke to a lady and I vaguely recalled her name. He said that was impossible. He also said someone else rented my car. I told him it was me because technically I rented it twice. I then asked when that person rented and at the top of his head he said 6 days ago. I asked him several times to go inside to confirm with his boss. After that struggle he did. I waited about 10 min then someone else came to start the rental. I asked what car and they confirmed it was the car I rented. No apology or anything. They begin to wash the car at that moment. Not sure why. When I got it it was on empty. Upon return I mention that. The rep said they would talk to their boss about compensation. Later someone else comes out to ask me to start from the top to explain why I wanted compensation. I just left without saying or asking a thing. I hate that place. I didn’t even explain all of it because it’s just a waste of energy for a terrible branch. Just sad and terrible. I try not to rent from enterprise because of experiences like this. Hertz is more expensive but I pay more for professionalism and their commitment to meeting expectations
I reserved my luxury SUV initially on Thursday evening for pickup Friday noon. I received a call in the morning stating they did not have one for me. This is where I had to hunt one down for the next few hours. The online reservations are not accurate with their inventory. This is an inconvenience if you’re specifically looking for a size or model. The staff at each location went to was great. I hope Enterprise figures it out.
I was disappointed in the fact that after having a reservation for a certain size vehicle, I was told that the vehicle class was no longer available. I was offered 2 vehicles that were beautiful, but way too small for my family of 5 (convertibles).. I told the staff that I needed more space so I ended up having to pay more to get a vehicle that would fit my families needs. They did provide a discount, but I really should not have been charged an additional amount at all.
The days and hours of operation, as well as the helpful staff at this location, make this my car rental choice whenever I am in need of one. If a class of car that I have reserved is no longer available, I have always been offered a free upgrade to the next class. This location is staffed with a large team, so that more customers can be serviced at a time. I have found the wait time to be proportional to the number of other clients present which to me is a fair expectation. The best feature for me has been their opening time of 7:00am on weekdays to return a vehicle.
Car was not properly cleaned when I picked it up. Actually surprised at Enterprise to allow this to happen. There was nasty GPS suction cup mark on the inside where people had maybe used saliva or whatever to mount a GPS and phone holder. Bug juice was caked on the windshield. Yes, the cat was rinsed off but not washed and certainly not cleaned properly on the inside. Shame on Enterprise....i usually get better service from them...and is why I have stayed loyal. I have noticed they have slipped in customer relations the last few times I have rented from different locations. I will be looking into the other major names in car rentals for a better experience next time
Rental was good at first,but i had concerns about my deposit and customer service has been so difficult to deal with. Ive been trying to get in contact for 3 days,and im always told ill get a call back but never do. I will not use enterprise in the future nor will I recommend it to anyone. I hold customer service to a certain standard and when i feel like im just bothering them,ill take my business elsewhere.
Outstanding customer service as always. Only suggestion I would make is easing up on the push to purchase insurance coverage. However, I do not blame the staff because I am sure the pressure is coming from management or corporate. As a long time customer of Enterprise and annually rents between 6-8 times, I am fully aware of all the insurance and liability coverage. I understand it has to be covered and the staff not only did a great job in explaining all of them but show tremendous knowledge. Again, outstanding service and I would always highly recommend anyone to Enterprise.
I have rented vehicles from this Enterprise location on West Main in Alhambra several times already. I have found sales representatives courteous and efficient. When they busy with customer reserving, picking up, returning rentals they do their best to expedite the process and always ask if you have been helped.
I rent from Enterprise now and then. This experience was not a good one. I made a reservation for 8:30 am. I got to the Alhambra location at 8:20 am. I didnt actually get into the car until 9:30. There were so many people there were no seats and no room in the office by 9 am. As I was driving on the freeway a piece of rubber came off the window seal and began smacking into the window on the drivers side and scared me. I tried to put it back into place but it wouldnt stay. I dropped the car off the same day. I got a call on the Monday after to ask about customer service. When I explained what happened I got a 10% discount, which was great. The issue I have is that Enterprise tells its staff that theyve failed unless they get all 5s across the board so the staff tells the customers this and it makes the customers feel pressure to give them an excellent rating even if the experience was not excellent. Overall Ill continue to rent from Enterprise because theres no one else in my area to use, but Ill definitely plan on at least an hour before I need my car in the future.
Went there 3 times in two weeks. My experiences with the staff were pretty good, except maybe the first time. Someone was pushing the protection package pretty hard - I do think 5 nos were a bit excessive. Twice the fuel tank were far from full, and I ended up paying about extra 10% of the rental charges in fuel, but I did get some discounts when I picked up the cars both times, so I guess they evened out.
Employees are great and always helpful, they really care about helping customers and are always active.Update: Ive had issues with Hertz as of late, as they decided to make their big SUVs 7 seaters (Suburbans, Expedition Max, Yukon XL), and their Medium sized SUVs 8 passengers (Yukon, Tahoe, Armada)...if you know about cargo and all that, it makes no sense. I constantly need an 8 passenger SUV and have had many headaches with Hertz. So this really big trip I needed a big SUV and Enterprise said on their site they had an 8 Passenger Premium SUV and I confirmed with their employees. The day before my pick-up, the manager called me to confirm that I needed an 8 passenger car and that they would have it for me. The relief I felt after that was amazing. This is going to be my go to spot for rentals from now on. The staff is always friendly, even when dealing with customers who dont understand car sizes and think an SUV falls under compact/economy vehicle, quick to fix or accommodate any problems and I highly recommend them.
My experience at enterprise especially this specifically location has always been amazing. The employees are helpful and absolutely friendly. I always feel welcomed and everyone greets us like weve been friends forever. Albert has been the employee who is constantly assisting me and hes been nothing short of amazing. I wish I remember another employees name but hes great as well. I love going to this location because whether the employee is new or has been there awhile the customer service is spot on. Thank you enterprise for being so amazing.
Excellent customer service, unfailingly friendly. Cars are generally pretty new and clean. After I had to wait half an hour to get the car I had reserved, they offered to give me $10 off. They dont always offer to do this though, and you will almost always need to wait quite a bit to pick up, and also to return, so you need to bargain hard.Ive also reserved a car 2 days in advance only to find out as I was about to pick it up that it wasnt available. Instead they offered a free upgrade, but were charging more for insurance since it was a larger car. Recognizing this as a subtle form of upsell, I insisted on the old rate, which I eventually got.
This is my first time here and it was excellent service cant complain the beautiful young lady helped me today I apologize I forgot her name how can I forget her name such beautiful lady.but she was on a roll she made things happen fast and efficient . I want to say her name is Susan but Im not too sure. Anyways I apologize if there were 10 Stars I will give her 10 highly recommend this place
We reserved the rental car about a month in advance to make sure we had no issues upon picking up the car. When enterprise gave us the car, the gas tank was on empty and the car was not cleaned from the inside or out. We were planning on picking up the car at 5pm and heading out on our road trip right after. They informed us over the phone when we reserved the car that it would not take longer than 15 min. Since the car was not cleaned we had to wait for them to wash and vacuum the car. Instead of filling up the car prior to our pick up time, we were handed the car on an empty tank. We had to get gas before heading out on our road trip which was not convenient at all. It would of been nice to have a car with a full tank of gas and cleaned out for us prior to our pickup time, but thats unfortunate. We did not get any type of compensation for this inconvenience. Giving them 2 stars is being generous.
Based on my experience at another enterprise in a different location (where the customer service was fantastic ) I was expecting the same level of satisfaction; unfortunately I was not satisfied. The car I rented out from enterprise, had its check engine light turn on, on the way home from enterprise. By the time I got home, it was too late to make it back in time, and was advised to take it to the nearest enterprise early next day. I come to this location, call ahead of time to let them know of my situation, and did not receive any help. I walked in, waited for over 20 minutes before I was helped. I had rented out a small 4 door sedan, and was offered a big pick up truck. I expressed that I wasnt comfortable driving a pick up truck, and the guy said Ill speak to my manager. In front of me, he tells her She doesnt want the truck , and all she did was shrug. He comes back to me and says that the truck was the only car available. I was forced to drive to work with a car whose check engine light was on, and was forced to go out of my way once more, to find another enterprise location, in hopes that they could help. Their customer service was a huge let down.
I’ve been going to Enterprise since the early 70’s. They’ve grown for a reason. They’re good, fair, honest! And above all, a tremendous value.We all need help from time to time and Enterprise have been there for me every time. I rent cars three to four times a year, and the first choice have been Enterprise since the 80’s.Now that they own Alamo, and National... love it....A month ago I was in the big Island, Hawaii.... Enterprise was sold out and I quickly snapped to Alamo, then National!Please be there and everywhere!!!!!!Thanks,PM
By far the best rental experience Ive ever had. Waiting time was brief, very professional service, the car was clean, only minor scratches, low mileage, and the return was just as efficient and easy. The same cannot be said about other rental experiences Ive had in the area. I will always go back for sure!
Always my go-to location for rentals due to the fact that they open on Sundays. I would have given them 5 stars, but I always make my reservations on-line through the Enterprise app and when I arrive at the rental office, I always have to wait at least 20-30 minutes for vehicle to be washed and ready. If reservations are made, vehicle should be ready to go at time scheduled. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the customer service because they always make arrangements to make it right.
This is the second time that i used this location of Enterprise on Main street, both times not by choice. both times i experienced subpar service. I originally made a reservation at the Valley location. right before i was due to pick up the van, i checked google map and found out that the location was closed. I called the phone number and was routed to the Main street location. I wasnt notified by Enterprise about the change of pick up location. when i got there, they were not able to find my reservation, took 20 minutes to find it in the system. took another 30 minutes to find me a van and washed it. Due to COVID situation, everyone was waiting outside, there was a tiny tent that already covered 3 people, everyone else standing in the heat. I would hesitate in the future to use this location again. Poor customer service. More importantly, no one seems to know what they were doing.
Rent a car from Pasadena branch and they said they don’t have the car that I’ve rented for. They sent me to this branch and said they have a car could be ready for me. However, the car I picked up here has missing and broken parts, and even not cleaned yet. Car is drifting a lot and When I asked for switching to another car, they ignored me
Ive been renti g from this location for quite a few years now and unfortunately i have to give it 2 stars based on my current rental situation. I recommend recording the interaction you have with the associate handling your contract for the fact that they will tell you one thing and then be told something different by another associate or the branch manager. The associate handling my contract charged my card a specific amount upon signing and agreeing to the contract but 2 days into my rental contract my bank was charged an additional fee. This is not the first time i have had problems with this location as far as ALL associates following policy and being on the same page because in the end its the client who who is held responsible for the associates misinformation given to us.
When I picked up the rental car, the standard size I reserved wasnt available so I was given an option to upgrade for an additional $5/day. I thought this was odd since Ive never been charged an additional fee for an upgrade when my reservation wasnt available for past car rentals at Enterprise or any other rental agency. I accepted the fee since I was on a schedule but when I drove off the lot, the interior of the mini SUV was dirty with non-vacuumed carpets, dusty dashboard, a white stain in the backseat, and sunflower seed shells in the cup holder. The sales attendee inspected the car before I got in it so Im not sure how she didnt notice how nasty it was. My sister and I were so grossed out that she cleaned the car before heading out on our trip. I immediately called the location to complain (which was recorded) but wasnt able to write a formal complaint using the Enterprise website.Upon returning the car, I complained about the fee and dirty interior and was immediately refunded and discounted for my trouble, which was appreciated.The pick-up service was fine but a little overbearing for an experienced renter. The location is busy with constant returns and pick-ups but sales attendees should probably pay more attention to the condition of the car before handing over the keys. Not sure if Id rent from this location or Enterprise again.
I believe the person who helped me was Katie of the Alhambra location. She got me on the road within minutes and was super friendly. Then when I returned the car, the person helping got me an uber ride back home. I really appreciated the service. Got me to work on time. Been using this location for years and will continue doing so.
I have rented cars from this location several times. I have always been impressed by the customer service I receive, and I have dealt with a different person each time. Even at their busiest hour the waiting room feels comfortable and unhurried. There are few experiences like this anymore it seems. Kudos to Enterprise Rent-A-Car Main ST, Alhambra.
Friendly service and prompt pick up. Guess this site was busy thou and receiving cars pushing em thru wash and renting them right away.I received a vehicle that wasnt vacuumed. It wasnt too bad but if they didnt have time to vacuum I doubt they even cleaned anything inside the vehicle. They have to do a better job in cleaning the cars.
Our experience with renting a car at this facility was excellent! Weve been coming here for a few years now and we never leave disappointed! All of the staff that work here are extremely professional and friendly and always make you feel welcome! Weve rented from other companies, but none of them come close to the customer service that we receive here at Enterprise in Alhambra! :):):)
Bad experience right off the beginning 15 minute on hold to make a RSV. After I had made a reservation I called again to confirm and again 20 minutes on hold. I arrived to pick up my vehicle and my vehicle wasn’t even there it was at another location 15 minutes away. After they give me the vehicle the vehicle it smelled like cigarettes smoke. I tell the agent and he tells me I’ll take care of you When you return the vehicle at the moment you need to take this car because we don’t have anymore. I was like OK I guess when I return the vehicle he only discounted $20 wow oh on top of that they give me the car with no gasoline. Bad bad bad
Most efficient, friendly, customer oriented car rental spot Ive EVER experienced. This branch was so great, I became a Platinum member in less than a year. Lol. Shout out for the incredible customer service to John, Tiffany, Philip, and the rest of the Enterprise - Alhambra Main team!!!
I made a reservation for a car at the Main Street location in Alhambra, Ca. When I arrived, I had no car. I waited for more than an 45 minutes, before I was shuttled to another location on Valley Blvd., in Alhambra, Ca for another car. There I received a rental car which was not clean. A dirty sock and other items were left in the car. After I returned the car, I realized that I left an item in the car. I called and spoke to an associate, who said that the car was rented to someone who did not speak English very well. They said that they had a hard time renting to the person because of the language barrier. More than a week went by without receiving my item or a follow-up call. I had to hound the Enterprise Rental car office. After numerous attempts to ask for a supervisor, I never got to speak with one. The person who rented the car, which contained my important item gave a false address. The person was in OXNARD, not Monterey Park. Enterprise put the onus upon me to get the item from the car renter. I now have to drive more than an hour to pick up my item from the person who rented the car! They kept telling me that was all they could do for me. I think their customer service stops short of excellent. I have been a customer of Enterprise Rent-A-Car for more than 20 years. They have been my go-to place for renting a car, if I need one. They are also the first company which I refer to my friends and family for car rentals. I am having second thoughts now.
It is beyond me why customers reserve vehicles, when you go to pick them up they take over an hour to help you and get you out the door. This is particularly upsetting when you are renting on a Saturday and wanting to return the same day and they are only open until 1:00 pm. I asked the inside staff is the vehicle ready, if so why is it taking so long to complete this process? Response from each staff we have a list, what the heck does that tell you, fine if there is a list but you need to be expedient, this is rediculous. I explained to them that they need to revisit their customer service and the Assistant Manager stated we are customer service oriented and we take our time with each customer, I responded expedient service is also considered customer service, to which he had no response. I told him I was in a hurry since I only had a few hours left and yet he still he took his own sweet time and tried to upsell me on insurance even when I told him no 3 times, this of course took more time! Then instead of having a vehicle moved which was blocking the vehicle I was renting he had me wait again for another staff to move the vehicle. Then to top it off, there were emptied water bottle all around the vehicle which I was stepping on in order to do the walk around and his response was the guys take their breaks here, then he opens the truck and of course more bottles which of course he repeats the same response. The final disappointment was of course very little gas in the tank so I now needed to take the time to get gas and lastly the inside of the utility vehicle smelled like pot..............guess the guys take their breaks in there too! Not at all happy with Enterprises customer service and the fact that they do not respect their customers time and NEVER SAID I am so sorry this process is taking too long I will do my best to get you along quickly. I think you need to revamp your process and retrain your staff.
Car and pick up hours late, no after business hours car return, friendly but bad rental consulting.The indeed friendly staff failed to give me the important information that this particular office does not support after business hours drop of. Even though I talked about my travel and flight plans in context of the rental, staff did not mind to tell me my plan to be impossible with this particular office. - most enterprise offices support after business hour drop of.This caused serious trouble for me, in being entirely unable to return the car. - I had to find a friend doing it for me.Enterprise has no call centre operating outside business hours and so would not help at all. The phone system will simply try to put you through to the then closed branch. This made me feel pretty much left alone with a useless phone automat. Very frustrating.But thats not all: This particular office confirmed my car reservation on the internet in the morning, wasnt able to provide a car until 1800h. Still theyll bill for the whole weekend day where return is only possible until noon or on in the morning hours. If I knew about that I would just had cancelled the trip.Staff was unapologetic with my friend on car return. In short: The Good service others reported ended for me after I signed the contract.I strongly recommend to avoid this office.Edit: they even refused to give my friend a final receipt or bill upon return.
Always efficient & working hard to make sure you get the car you want when you need it...unfortunately, they are credit card only, & I prefer to pay cash to reduce the risk of getting hacked.Also, EVERY TIME, (because my primary cars are vintage, I rent a lot) I always find stuff left by a previous renter. Not bad, sometimes funny, especially when it was Pollo Loco Leftovers...Nice to get shuttled when needed too!
I would give zero stars if I could! I got there 15 min before they opened bc we were on a tight road schedule... first they didn’t have the van type I rented so we had to drive to the other enterprise to find one that matched our needs. Once they found it they barely washed it from the outside and gave it to us filthy from the inside and still wet outside. I had to come home to dry it, and clean the inside gunk that was left on the interior and carpets... it took me two hours to finally be able to pack up the van and get on the road!!! My wife was furious and it ruined the first day of our trip! To top it off when we called customer service to request some type of compensation they just gave us the run around and never called us back.
Over crown rental place had to seat an wait after I told them i done a rservation online. The website has many cars to choose from however the rental place doesnt have what the website shows as available rental. I told the employee of this issue an he told me what is in the website are not real cars in the lot that they are examples that you could get but not necessary are the cars available He say those are just examples. I personally feel does false advertising to tell the public about a product you that you dont really carry. Also you are missing insurance prices on the site I couldnt see any choices for coverage It would be good business to have it this way it becomes a smart rental decision instead of getting surprised by the rental associate pitching the various prices because is almost force to buy it when you dont have your own insurance. Also got the car with 1/4 gas, I have rented from Herts an they always have the gas tank full any way I put 1/ 2 a tank of gas an the associate told me that i would not get my money back that i would simply get credit for my next rental but what if i dont want to rent any more then it would be a loss of money for me. I feel that i should have gotten back reimbursed the amount a spend which was $20.90 at the gas station. People the rental place on Main St in Alhambra has alot of Suvs an many in white color dont rent from them they dont carry what the website says, If you go there you will be limited on your choices and you will be disappointed. For me first time renting with Enterprise, I dont think i will rent from then maybe not from the same locations I just hope the other locations are better and they carry what the website shows. I wanted to renta a Cadillac they didnt have it I end up renting a Volvo, I wasnt happy with the selection of luxury cars that was they only one they had.
I made a reservation on Saturday (Sept 3 2016) for the upcoming Wednesday (Sept 7 2016) at 10 am for a full size car. When I arrive there on at 1005 am, They only had a dirty car that had not been cleaned out that was full size. I asked if there was other options, but the gentleman said he have to charge me extra if i wanted to something else. I settle with the current car offered and he asked me what insurance I wanted to use. I said I wanted to use just liability. He tried to convince apply for full coverage and I politely declined. He made sure I knew I had to pay for any damages if anything happen to car and tried to convince me for 2 more minutes to get full coverage. Still I decline and I left with car to continue my trip.
I had reserved a car on June 11, 2016 for a 9:00am pickup. I got there at 9:00am and see six people waiting outside the door. I walk inside the office and I see more than 10 people inside waiting. There are only two agents at the counter helping customers. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I try to get the attention of one of the agents to check if there is a number or waiting list to get service and then he writes my name down. Another 30 minutes pass before my name is called. This is just to process my checkin. I still have to wait for another agent to get the car. This is insane. As I watch the other agents outside processing the cars in disbelief, shock, and finally disgust. These agents would take about 10 to 20 minutes with each customer to give them their cars. One agent took 35 minutes with just one customer as they went from one car to another to another. Totally disgusting! I finally get my car but I have to wait again as the car has not been cleaned inside. Well, I finally made it out of there at 10:38am.You guys should have a better process in place to help your customers and not subject them to this kind of of torture. I have been renting cars for over 25 years and this has been my worst experience. Maybe you should have self checkin kiosks, portable checkout units, or just better oversight on your employees. It is great that you had lots of customers that day, but you will not keep them as returning customers if this keeps happening.
I have been here many times! Great customer service and patience every time! I rented a car for a weekend special of $9.99 per day with limited miles. Turns out I didnt need the car for the entire weekend so they were happy to charge me for the time I had the car out, instead of the entire weekend.
I only use Enterprise when I have a long trip or my car is in the shop. Every time I go to Enterprise, their representatives always have a smile, great customer service and make it a breeze to get me to my car right away. They are always eager to do their best for the customer and that is a great experience!
The service was great , I was picked up at my house and when I got to the agency, I was given a clean car. My only complaint was that it did not have a CD player, something I thought all of your cars had. My wife was not to happy, it was something we discovered , 100 miles into our trip.
Great, friendly service!!! I only rent from Enterprise!!! The service rep gave a choice of cars to choose from and I was indecisive so I asked which one would he recommend and he said the Ford Fusion. He said its one of the most comfortable drive and he was right!! It was comfortable and quiet!!
The staff here at Alhambra are fantastic. Everyone is always helpful in expediting the rental process. They go above and beyond with their customer service. I would like to thank Julianna for going out of her way to drop us back off at home. She was very professional and polite.
I have rented cars from your Alhambra office for over the past 1.5 years due to some very bad circumstances regard my vehicle, however it has been your company and it personnel that have help me through it with and by renting vehicles which have kept me mobile. The service has always been excellent and I have always been Completely Satisfied. The staff at the 1800 Main street store in Alhambra have always been extraordinary they should been given raises because they go out of their way, particularly with the difficult customers. Ooops wrong address I meant to say 1300 Main street store in Alhambra NOT 1800.
Relied on them for a car while my car gets repaired. Went for their $279 weekly special , had the car for 2 weeks and ended up paying $640 PER WEEK!! How this is at all legal is beyond me. Just another criminal corporation that I will never be doing business with again. Gotta love the American way....steal your money so I dont have to work for it.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car team was great at the Main Street location in Alhambra. Service with consideration for the customers needs and schedule and always asking if there was anything else I needed. Price was not too bad, location was convenient and select on cars was good.
I had an amazing experience here thanks to Albert! He not only provided excellent customer service but my boyfriend and I loved our rental for our Vegas weekend! I have been a returning customer to this Enterprise location for many years now and its the awesome customer service that promises my return again and again!
I got my reservation in advance. The car blew 2 tires, called their road assistance...they had me in another car within an hour or less, I dont remember. I got an instant upgrade because you get what they have.I didnt purchase extra insurance, its extremely expensive, although its a great insurance, its expensive. I cant see myself paying double....if kept for a month my bill qmwould have been over $1,000 just for insurance. Sorry its way to much. I usually shy away from it, unless its a couple of days.
Everyone is always so very kind at this location. I rent there often and each time has been easy and quick. Even on busy days the staff has a way of showing that our time is important and they do things in a manner that speeds the process forward. I like that about this location.

Pretty awesome service, employees were kind and helpful, although one seemed a little irritated but it happens. Wouldve definitely given it 5 stars if they charged what was stated online instead of adding on the fees later, but I had a feeling it would happen which is why you always prepare with a little extra money. Aside from that, it was a very helpful service for the time I needed it. Thank you!
I had a breakdown in The desert outside Phoenix. It was 112 degrees. We had to wait almost 2 1/2 to get back on the road. They took me back to the airport and I waited 1 1/2 hour to get a replacement.We could they just brought another vehicle with the tow truck and let us be in our way. The vehicle had only 8,000 mile too. BUT, Bruce the Assisant Manager at the Alhambra store took care of me here back in LA. Great service and I will always return. I have been using Enterprise for over 25 years nowThank you

Definitely not coming here. As soon as I got in there a bunch of excuses these people work here. This girl hat help me straight up told me that these don’t accept debit or prepaid cards but she didn’t even look. She then showed me on he back of the card yet it said prepaid but she didn’t even look at the cards yet. I understand if you can’t use t. But how come you didnt even swipe the card or look at it and told me you don’t accept it. Your system she says won’t let it go they but then the enterprise app accepts it? So she is telling me she is certain enterprise app is wrong and she is right without even trying ? Rascist! Bias! And profiling. Won’t ever come here again or even recommend his spot. People only come cause of no choice not of customer service as I can tell you from an experienced point of view. This place customer service makes you feel like nothing. Energy and atmosphere is definitely not good here. Before you even start questioning a customer or implying any wrong doing towards he customer. Run through he process and show them. Now your pretty much saying he customer and enterprise themselves are incorrect. Doesn’t make sense at all.
I made my reservation in chose the location that I want to rent out of on line. I called the location to verify that they had the vehicle that I requested in stock. I was told on the phone that the vehicle that I requested was there and would be ready for me between 1 and 3:00 p.m.. When I arrived at the location, the vehicle was not there. I arrived at 1 oclock.They contacted another location and a vehicle was located. I went to that location and was rushed through the rental process. When I return the vehicle there was an apparent damage that was not noted on the pre rental Inspection.Now I am being charged with the damages.This whole rental was a headache and I blame being rushed through the pre rental inspection for not seeing the damage that I am now being charged with. I doubt that I will be Renting through enterprise again
I got a free upgrade from compact to intermediate, but I chose to rent a Prius instead, which cost extra 10 bucks/day.However, I noticed the car is due to maintenance right after I drove away, I didnt take it back because I already signed everything therefore I assume its my responsibility. I think Enterprise at this location needs to make sure cars are fully safe everytime (not having maintenance light pops up) before renting to customers.If I didnt get full coverage, I wouldve driven back and demanded an exchange because I kept worrying if my car will die any moment on I-5.....
Staff is nice but today I dealt with a girl (would call her a lady but she didnt act that way). I dont know if all customers understand that they pay for a fee with acronyms VLRF (Vehicle License Recovery Fee). My Estimate for my rental came out to be $129. 23 at time of reservation and when I came back the rental came out to be $130. and something cents. I asked why it states a different amount and then bam, she got a little moody and told me it depends what kind of car you rent, the VLRF will be different. I originally got an economy and was given a free upgrade because it was a marketing strategy that they (Enterprise) had at the time. Shouldnt I have been charged the economy price instead regardless of the car? and I asked her I would like to be refunded for fuel because the gas came to me below the half way mark. She says I can credit you the fuel but not give you a refund. Thinking to myself.. But yet Enterprise will charge you $4 bucks after the fact rather then market value for fuel when you return the car not where it was left. Trust me, I do not use cheap gas when I rent vehicles, when I should be. Anyways, thats my rant about my rental this week with Enterprise as I had rented from them two weeks prior to this as well. Boo, I guess you win some and you lose some. By the way, I didnt take the credit for fuel.
Very bad customer service. I called the office for some questions regarding the conditions and I got the feeling that they have no idea of what they are actually doing. I rent a car for three weeks and therefore expected a better customer service!You better use alternatives like Sixt for example.
Great customer service they always try to find a way to make customers happy. BUT BEWARE: during peak hours customer traffic gets heavy, the front reception area is packed, and turnaround times will be long: renting a car at the counter isnt as quick as wed imagine it should be. Most of that wait entails moving cars around and cleaning them for the next customer.Leaning on you for extra insurance coverage you dont need is actually an industry dynamic; they do it elsewhere to make money. But it is annoying and unnecessary unless you have no kind of car insurance or no premium credit card.TIP: when you book a car, the car you see in the reservation may not be the actual one you rent. RAC companies have their own idea of what models fall into what sizes and categories. If you want a specific car, call the manager after the booking ASAP so they can find it, ship it to their office, and have it ready for you. Theyve done this for me in the past. Full size SUVs can be a Chevy Trailblazer or a Chevy Tahoe for example. If you want the Tahoe CALL THE OFFICE BEFOREHAND. Get a name to place the blame.ALSO: You check the car for damage, also check the keys! Make sure the keys and fobs are not broken or cracked and you have the same number of them on the ring before returning! This was one of the few times that ERAC didnt serve their customer service like they shouldve. ERAC charged me a $100 lockout fee, plus tow, and the cost of the replacement key when I put the key in the trunk lock and turned, for the key to break off easily inside the cylinder. I noticed at pickup the key had a crack but I didnt mention it to my misfortune to not think anything of it. Regardless, this is the equivalent of me opening the car door and it falls off, for ERAC to have the nerve to make me liable and charge my insurance! This was at the now defunct Ivar Ave office in Hollywood 6 years ago. They even threatened to charge my credit report if I didnt pay! My credit card company was successful in reversing the charges when I disputed it then! So snafus happen, just approach eyes wide open.
I come to this particular office of Enterprise from Baldwin Park due to their friendliness and customer service. I went with my niece to the West Covina location and they were very dismissive, they did not understand the word Customer Service. Hertz took care of her with a smile! I come to the Alhambra office when my car is in for service over at Wondries, which is how I came to find out how nice the guys are in this office. Rented a car 2 weeks ago for a trip to No. Cal., they were nice once again. I would not want a Chevy Cruze, but thats not the employees, it was the car (no overdrive therefore using more gas and the armrest is so far back its useless unless your rather tall, which is not me!). It is kinda fun to try different cars before I purchase one later this year.
I love this place! The staff is so helpful and nice. I know in this day and age, customer service is not only hard to receive but its also hard to give and this enterprise branch goes above and beyond to give it and each and every time Ive rented from them, they will be my go to enterprise from now on.
My reservation was for an intermediate vehicle. When I arrived, there were no intermediate vehicles available and I was offered a free upgrade to a Dodge 7 seat passenger vehicle. I specifically informed the rep that I do not need such a large vehicle to drive around Downtown LA by myself. The rep stated the Dodge was the only vehicle available. He did not offer to accomodate my needs nor did he tried to contact another ERAC office to obtain an intermediate vehicle to fulfill my reservation. Driving a 7 passenger vehicle by myself was extremly inefficient. I rented from Enterprise frequently and I have experienced numerous times that Enterprise have always over booked reservation and not enough cars are available. It is pointless to secure a reservation for a specific vehicle and not have the request honored. Management should seriously consider reviewing the overbooking issue and train its staff to accomodate customers rental needs. Excellent customer service should be a number one priority!
Bad customer service they won’t respect the customer very unprofessional employees I had reservation wen I went to pick up the car they have no cars available to rent so why you we go do reservation online to hear this results bad corporate never relying on this corporate if you have trip planning 3 times they did same to me I lost my vacations days because they lied on
Make sure when you go to this location, you receive the right quote & that you are clear on the fees. This place sucks & their supposedly Manager BRUCE isnt professional at all. Made me feel like i was stupid & a liar but in reality its them who dont make it clear enough for the customer. When you go back & return the car, thats when they act all jerkish & the fees are different & they get straight to the point, when they shouldve been honest in the beginning. Im not buying the damn car so why sugar coat lol BRUCE was ridiculous lol Will still use Enterprise but will never go back to this location.
I am not satisfied with the gas refuel rate. The clerk told me $2.50/per gallon(she said it is lower than market level). However, the receipt I got showed $4.66 /per gallon on my bill. I think I was deceived. But I have no time to argue because I have to work every day.
I never imagined that going to a car rental agency would be so much fun butt over here in Alhambra California that this Enterprise is one of the best car rentals Ive ever been to customer service is excellent the cars are always running good everything is this excellent and Im and Im proud to be a customer there and I will advise anybody to go over there and rent their cars the greatest placeCustomer service at this location just gets better and better.
I had a bit of trouble when I was picking the car up although I did have a reservation upon returning the car the manager there was very nice try to help me as best she could and just made the whole experience a lot better I am a frequent customer there and even though sometimes there problems that pop up there always very fast to take care of it and I would definitely be returning
I got a bad experience. I waited one hour for pick-up. After many and many phone-calls, I knew that they had missed my pick-up booking however I am sure that one of their lady staff had marked my address and other details(for 2 times). Finally, Someone picked me up after one and a half hour.
On behalf of my mom Angelica Moran, she had to go here for a rental but because kia of alhambra was going to work on her car, kia of alhambra paid for her rental, so she went in there and she got helped from Jane who did not take notice of all the dents and scratches the rental had Jane did not take notes of that and now that my mom returned the car on Saturday a different guy helped her to return the car his name is Phillip Han, so since the first employee did not report one of the dents the car had this guy wants my mom to pay them $500 for a dent that was already there in the first place he was also rude and dishonest, he told my mom that if she didnt pay he was going to send her to collections, how could this places have dishonest employees and rude that treat a customer like that, I will however take this complaint to the major consumer offices out there, it is outrages that this people are taking advantage of customers like that.

2022-06-11This is honestly the best car rental experience and location. Always have a fleet of cars, when coming in without an appointment. The employees (Garrett and Wendy) make an effort to provide a top of the line car for a deal, that fits your needs. I generally try to avoid rentals, but they make the experience extremely positive. Just amazing!

2022-02-21I rented a mini van for a trip to Knotts Berry Farm. The van was great very comfortable for myself and my passengers we had a great time. No issues at all with the van. The service was great the staff is polite and helpful. Jeremy was the person who assisted me when I returned the van he is professional and very nice. He made my return very easy. You can also leave the car at night for convenience they will call you in the morning to finish up the process. I will be renting again soon. Thank you for your help.

2022-02-25I had a wonderful experience renting/picking my rental car at this location. The secret is to have some patience. The first person whom helped me was a friendly young woman. She helped process all the necessary paper works. The 2nd representative Sean walked me over to the car and explained all details. Although, he wasn’t able to answer my question on the spot. I appreciated, he uses his resource to find out what I wanted to know. Eager and energetic team member, we don’t see them often anymore. Sean shows pride in his work. Keep it up, buddy.

For the most part, their customer service is pretty good.Today, one person really went the extra mile for an excellent customer service.Shout out to Brenton Miller for an outstanding customer service.I was looking for particular SUV and I understand that sometimes we can’t get it.Brenton follow up with my request.Although I didn’t expect to get it, yet I got it because he did simple thing that nobody ever done it before.I definitely appreciated the extra effort of being thorough, Brenton.Hopefully Enterprise recognize your outstanding work ethic.I know I do. 2022-06-29Rented from this location prior and decided to rent a vehicle for my wedding. Jeremy assisted me in securing the vehicle the day prior and even offered to take a pic of me and my fiancée. This is a great location with a great staff and I intend on returning the next time a rental is needed. Thank you!

2022-05-26I called this location because its near to shop where my vehicle is gonna be repaired and to reserve a vehicle but mike who answered with an attitude & wasnt helpful at all. Once I said that my insurance will be paying for it he asked if I have a reservation # from the insurance and I looked for it within 5secs, he just hung up the phone... I didnt bother calling back.I wont do business with this location. Theyre not the only rental car business around.Enterprise, 👎👎 to your employee mike.
