Brewquarters; Great Coffee, Great Rotating Local Beers on Tap and friendly staff. Easily best White Mocha in and around Stockton. Happy Hour is 4pm to 7pm. Have a beer or two, you deserve it. Oh Yeah, great home made Cinnamon Rolls! Dont confuse this place as just another coffee place.
Empreso is impressive. Lol. This was the first place I ever had cold brew coffee it should come with a warning label that reads high octane 😁. I love this stuff its one of my favorite cold Brews in town.
Expected more obionce a bit of a coffeehouse theme not a partial coffeehouse/storage bin. Coffeehouse was okay not great as expected . Could use a make over. Employees are nice enough tho.
Their lox Bagel is absolutely out of this world!!! The flavor is not only Savory but they put enough lox on the bagel to where you feel full and satisfied!!! I also enjoyed their mocha very much. I am not a coffee drinker, so when I went out on a limb on a cold rainy day and ordered a coffee I was pleasantly surprised!!! My only gripe about Empresso is for the shop being an ex Starbucks oh, there are very few Outlets for you to charge your mobile devices on. The outlets that they do have are very few and are extremely wobbly and do not hold your charger in very well. That is super disappointing. Otherwise, the experience was pretty good. I will definitely be going back Time After Time for that amazing bagel.
Great local spot, coffee is tasty and strong! Breakfast sandwiches are delicious! Highly recommendable. Good job on the food and coffee, the service could use more friendliness and smiles. Staff looks like they are stuck there doing a job, could be more amicable. Overall good.
Pretty neat coffee place in Stockton. We got there about 15 minutes before closing, just to check it out and meet some friends. Some of the staff seemed pretty dissapointed that they might have to serve us a beverage, which was pretty strange. But kind of a neat place overall.
Amazing! Cant believe there is such a nice spot in Stockton. The coffee is really delicious. Ive only had the drip, black, both days dark roast and smooth, not acidic like a lot of other coffees.The service is incredibly friendly, its a mellow mood in here, its no Starbucks which is fantastic.Plenty of seating, plenty of parking, great climate control, good choice of music (actually great choice) and a really nice mix of crowds that come here.There is a lot of outside seating and there is free wifi, ask for the password. I believe they have a good selection of food as well but Ive only done coffee here.
In an era of corporate coffee houses, Empresso stands on its own. A great place to get coffee (or a beer after work) and a quick bite to eat. Staff is always helpful and accommodating.
8/11/2020We wanted some patio-seating, breakfast, & a pick-me up brew. First thought, Empresso. My sister put me on their Chai Latte. Amazing! The Nitro Cold Brew is strong, nutty, and smooth.We asked the barista for recommendations for breakfast. She kindly suggested the bacon egg sandwich. The bacon was crispy, the egg was well seasoned, and the sandwich was overall tasty.Thank you Empresso for all your accomodations during these COVID times.

LovelyOrdered a Cortado a shot of espresso and a French press coffee (light roast).Very good. The Cortado was delicious 10/10. The espresso was good, a little bitter but it had nice notes of walnut and a sweetness to it 7/10. The French press was excellent with hints of orange peel 9/10.The employees were very friendly, if I lived here I would be back. 👍
What I love most about this place is how affordable it is while maintaining a good quality (not the best but great nonetheless) and being open until late. Also it is very spacious and great for either studying or working for hours on end. Their food selections are yummy and reasonably priced. I quite enjoy their pour overs and their pumpkin dirty chais.My only complaints about this place is that some of the tables are getting a bit wobbly and some of the outlets are very loose and dont actually hold a charger in place. Lastly the music here will change dramatically from genre to genre with no consistency, so its best if you bring your own headphones.Overall my fave coffee shop in Stockton and a site that has allowed me to survive various classes, applications, and key moments in my life for several years now. I miss the old site on Miracle Mile but glad to see the spirit of Empresso lives on in Stockton.
Super delicious coffee, great atmosphere, and its reasonably priced.You cant go wrong with any of their Frappuccinos. I highly suggest looking at the menu, their custom drinks are inventive and tasty!
They have best Chai Latte in the town, toasted bread with avocado and bagle with veggies and hummus must try these options.Overall you get positive vibes from the coffee shop, employees are super energetic always welco.e you with happy face.I would recommend must try

Great coffee and a great place to work or study.
Good coffee with a variety of flavors and fairly cheap. The atmosphere is also good. Unfortunately, the ordering system they have going on confuses costumers—people grab others drinks because of the confusion in order calling. The time for orders to be made is quite longer than normal. In the recent visit, I had waited 30+ min. for my order, I decided to leave without a drink. I would suggest to the staff to call the orders by name of costumer instead of drink type.

That was my forth time that visiting the place. The coffee is good, they have a broad selection of flavors and types. They just need a better selection of creamers for me. My opinion, they need to get some powder non dairy creamer and allow the customers to pour their own non-dairy liquid creamers such as the almond milk.
I used to love empresso on the mile, they completely changed in quality and service. Today (june 2 2021) i went in to get coffee because I was under the impression that the staff were wearing masks, half of the crew there were not. The two unmasked girls in front stared at me and my husband and laughed. We immediately left, It really is not hard to wear a mask when taco truck people are over a hot grill all day wearing one...I dont care if you are full vaccinated, I want my food/drink handled by someone who cares about not only my health but theirs. Not only that, but someone who cares about their COMMUNITY. I dont understand how this simple task has not been expressed by everyone. I love supporting small businesses but I will not support one that does not care for human safety or their community. This is Very sad and disappointing.
Great place for coffee. My friends and I used to hangout all the time from their previous location down by Miracle Mile. Right now, its perfect coz they are situated closer to where I am. My go-to drink is chunky monkey. 🙊🤪 Yall should give it a try, if you havent yet.
You absolutely MUST go. This establishment is by far my favorite place in all of Stockton.To start, the coffee is superb. Its rich and bold, and yet it still blends perfectly with flavored drinks. You wont find a better cup of coffee anywhere else in Stockton.Second, the taste and the quality of the food is phenomenal. The portions are certain to leave you satiated, yet youll want to order something additional just because the prices are so low!The beer is local, high quality, and appropriately priced. The classy sophisticated ambiance of an upscale coffee house does well to dissuade and discourage those who choose to imbibe from over indulgence.The staff is friendly and helpful. The vibe is laid back. I chanced upon this place at about 10:30pm after a long day at work; frustrated that there was no where to eat at such an hour- outside of a drive through heart attack shack.If you pass on this place then youre clearly nuts, and may need therapy.
The service, coffee and food were excellent. I had a perfectly crafted pumpkin spice latte that brought all the Autumn flavors and aromas to life, along with a heavenly slice of pumpkin bread that was topped with a crunchy and flavor layer of nuts and seeds. The ambience though was a bit clinical, like a computer lab. It would be nice if a few warm touches were added to the decor to make it feel more inviting, but its still 5 stars from me for providing delicious beverages and food, along with such a fun, kind waitstaff.
It would be an insult to compare this to Starbucks or Peets coffee, they are clean, great service, greet you at the door, attention to detail, great place to relax and chill, I have gone several times since Ive been here in Stockton and they have always been on point, keep up the good work.
Ive been coming here for years and Ive been to most of the cafes in Stockton and Ive got to say that Empresso is by far the best in the city.
Really excellent coffee and some decent food choices. I get the breakfast sandwiches, they are made to order and a pretty good deal (about $6 for a hearty sandwich). The atmosphere is nice, lots of people studying/working. The outdoor seating has a view. . . of a strip mall parking lot but I guess you cant have everything.
I has their breakfast egg and bacon bagel sandwich... it was so filling and delicious! I added avocado... I also had their passion berry smoothie... that was also sweet and fruity.. overall I had a good experience and the wait time was decent too
I love the art shows and the small shows they have with bands on occasion. This coffee shop is special to my heart. It offers delicious coffee, blended drinks, snacks, food and craft beer. A very awesome place to hang out and relax at!
One of the best Matcha green tea lattes Ive had. Also the black and white coffee drink is delicious. I verbally recommend people to go here if passing through Stockton. Modest location. One day Ill ask how they make it taste so good
The BEST coffee shop ever. If I could give a million stars I would. They have anything that your heart desires: food , pasteries, coffee, tea (hot or iced), & smoothies. They are hands down my favorite local business and if you havent tried them you DEFINITELY should!! There is one downtown by the movie theater and one off Pershing in College Square.
A quick stop in for a cup of espresso was quite disappointing. The coffee came out of 5 lb freezer packs and didnt seem fresh. There were people smoking at the entry door and once inside there was alot of cussing which made it uncomfortable. Based on the website we were expecting high quality coffee. I would not recommend for families or people with young children.
Coffees great as always but the seating is uncomfortable. I cant fit in the bar stools at all and its tight on their chairs inside. If youre a bigger person you might wanna get it to-go or sit at their outside eating area.

I visit Stockton at least once a year and I always have work to do. I live in Milwaukee where coffee houses are very common, so I really appreciated the friendly and prompt service at Empresso. I also like the comfortable setting and music selection. I intend to come back very often and try more items in their menu.
It was getting late and Idve rather been at home. A police activity blocked the route, traffic was impacted. Luckily this coffee shop was open & inviting. Lots of parking and enough patrons to help forget why I stopped in the first place.

Wow! So... i tried this place when they FIRST opened, and i was disappointed. Never went back. However, they keep popping up in my google search for best breakfast.... so i thought, why not try again.Well, first of all... i did NOT end up ordering a breakfast sandwich, which was what i had come for... but, i have to say. YUMMMMMMMY!!!! I wish i had come back a long time ago. There prices are high, no doubt, but its excellent!!The best black ice tea in stockton, HANDS down. Wish i could buy a gallon for the house. So good. The sign of really good ice tea is being able to drink it with NO SWEETNER and its still yummy and not at all bitter. I also ordered the turkey panini with pesto.... omg!!! So good that i found myself eating the half i was going to take home for later, in the car while i was driving home even though i was stuffed!!! Thats a great sandwich.Also, they serve food untill 11:50pm nightly!!!! This will b my new late night sandwich place!! So happy i went today.Thank you!!!!
I like this little spot. I always get a chunky monkey and its chocolate banana goodness! Plus they have a couple beers on tap and some options for food. Nice spot to hang out for a little lunch or even bring your laptop and enjoy the internet.

Well I just had the most delicious looking sandwich Ive had in a while. The place is nice with huge windows for great natural light inside. Paid six dollars for a sandwich and one-fifty for a cup of Joe. Absoutely fantastic.
Im very disappointed with my coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte and it is the most bitter, disgusting coffee I have ever had. I like how friendly the workers are, but they chatted so long they just let my shots sit and sit and I think they went bad and they taste awful. If you ladies read this, please pay attention to how long youre letting those shots sit.

White mocha with caramel is my personal favorite, other good drinks are the Mexican mocha and Razzle Dazzle. Even on busy days the baristas are fast, I never wait longer than 5 mins to get my drink. Best in 209 fo sho

I miss the vibe of the old location but the new one has the same great coffee and friendly atmosphere. Plus its a stone throws away from Delta College. Love them!
Definitely not as great as the original Empressos, but they put a lot of effort into making this place original. They put on live music shows by local bands and solo artists. They also throw small themed art shows and keep local artists work up for a month or so. The coffee is delicious as always. I recommend the caramella frappe or caramella iced. The inside is very modern looking. They serve beer here on one end of the coffee shop. They also have merch you can buy inside. The baristas are so kind and after being in there a lot, they tend to recognize you. A lot of locals hang out here with friends or to work on school/projects in their free time. This location is open till midnight. My favorite regularly visited place in Stockton.

Stop by and grab an espresso and breakfast sandwich in the morning, then come back for lunch, and again for craft beer for happy hour in the evening to watch the game. Great crowd, and clean, industrial design are super inviting.

I always get the worse experience. I get that I am ugly, but I shouldnt be getting nasty looks and being made to wait for over 5mins in line, all by myself until somebody comes up behind me so that I can finally get my order taken. And no it was not busy. And yes this happened to me more than once. It doesnt seem to happen whenever I take my white friends tho...
What an amazing place for a cup of joe, to just about anything you can ask for. Spacious room and friendly workers there. Food there is to die for and they have wifi so remember that its also a place for college students. I go there every day for coffe, tea, or the food.
Love this place! I am super sad that the one on miracle mile is not open currently, so I am glad that this location is just as great in its own way. I love that the decor and atmosphere is posh, yet still draws a crowd of every age. The service is great and quick, and I love the coffee!

This place is dangerous they have the same trolls hanging around all day every day, they harass customers, one carries a knife with an 10 inch blade, on his belt, a lot of crazies, they scare me.

2021-10-17Out of all the establishments that have shown extensive courtesy for their customers, this cafe has proven that it truly cares for the individual such as myself and my selfish desires. Perhaps one of the more saddening parts of society is that selfish desires are inherently suppressed, not by the consumer, but by the establishments brought up in this competitive society. I found myself thoroughly surprised and filled with pleasure when I was granted an eggs scrambled with everything on it to another establishment, and this egg was amazingly cooked with passion, love, care, and intimacy. Truly an amazing experience, and I would encourage any that seek out a cafe that serves its customer with respect and care to visit Empresso, especially with coffee and food that represent such high quality.

2022-04-07I love this place, love the coffee, love the atmosphere but yall got some pretty rude people working at the front. I dont know if it comes with the job or what but its almost like a sense of entitlement. It was only to me though, every customer after they were super nice & friendly to.Other than that the creme frappes hit, the baked goods are delicious. I like going here, but maybe Ill go to the one by my house from now on instead of here.

2022-02-24Ive been drinking coffee for years. Its my thing. Im very picky when it comes to good coffee. I was the area about a week ago and on a walk decided to stop here. This was definitely one of the best cups I have had in my life. Great taste, amazing presentation, and service with a smile.

2021-02-14Ordered online for pickup. 2 drinks. 2 bagels. 2 sandwiches. Get there and the order is ready. But theres no drinks made. I tell the guy and he makes me show him the receipt on my phone (no problem, its ok that he checked) because the drinks werent on the receipt they printed in store. He makes the drinks right away. No complaint. Get to the car and taste the drinks. Actually really delicious beverages. Get home and I just cant believe what Im looking at. Bagels with no cream cheese. Barely any lox. Sandwich on wrong bread. I paid extra for a croissant. Got sourdough. Bottom line, drinks were good if they actually make them. Skip the food. Wont be going back.

2021-05-24Thanks to girl in the back who made this bagel. OMG best bagel I’ve ever had!! I cannot say enough about this. And the girl with the short black hair and blue eyes that made my Rocky Road frappe drink soooo good!! Great job you guys

2021-10-12Favorite coffee spot in Stockton/Sacramento.Favorite drink: Filthy Chai = creamy, nice blend of spices with few shots of expresso.Favorite food: bacon & grilled cheese panini.

2022-02-06Staff dont wear masks but its a classic coffee shop with an amazing white mocha (hot). I was able to accomplish a lot of work in a little bit of time because it creates just the perfect white noise to stay focused
