I have literally called L and M towing that is contracted with the townhouses for my as spoke neighbor who parks behind their garage and sometimes mine so I cant get out or into my tandem garage. The sheriffs wont come cause its private property and and management wont do anything. Im legally trying to break my lease now, and BONUS they smoke weed and tried to fight me and my bf when we asked them to move. Thats on video too. Id give -10 stars if I could. Do not move here!!!
Very bad management. They don’t attend to maintenance request and sometimes cancel it out on you. So irresponsible thing to do. O won’t be renewing. Damaged wall all over the place. Water seeping into wall. Faulty electricity damaging my expensive TV. Poor maintenance. Do yourself a favor and find another decent place with responsible management. I have been here for 2 years. Won’t give complimentary carpet cleaning upon lease renewal even though it was part of the agreement before signing lease. Very bad act with no one taking responsibility.
This place is ridiculous. We are so happy to be gone!!!- A cop every now and again is nice to see so we know the area is being patrolled occasionally but this isnt that. There is ALWAYS cops around here and its starting to become quite worrisome. In the community alone, weve seen an arrest and an assault of a man try to grab a woman while in her car.- Parking is horrendous as mentioned in various posts here. There is NEVER guest parking because residents take up all the damn parking spots. If they didnt keep junk in their garage, then they could park there. But no.- Parked my car for a few minutes (LIKE EVERYONE HERE DOES) in front of my residence (around 1am) so I can take my guests to their car since they had to park outside of the community way down the street so they didnt have to walk so far that late. Come down to see nothing because my car was towed in a GATED COMMUNITY that has no security patrol, at least not that Ive seen in the year weve lived here. I called on a different day because a car was parked in the very spot I was towed and the lady from the office said oh well you can call, we dont deal with that.- There is kids playing on the street and most times without a parent/guardian or any sort of supervision which is dangerous and quite irritating at times.- Our air conditioning has broken twice in the year weve lived here. One of the times, it was making a very loud obnoxious noise. The guy came to check it out and said nothing was wrong. We needed to complain a second time for them to come fix it.- Our fridge was broken (just our luck it would be right after doing groceries) and not only was there NO answer the several times we called DURING office hours. But then when we finally get a hold of a maintenance guy, he says they wont be able to get to it till tomorrow because they were backed up and had several maintenance requests before ours for ACs, which we understand but ugh!-- They came the following day at around 4:30p (way over 24hrs) after more than half our groceries had gone to waste and had to be thrown out -- ice bags didnt work sadly. They made a mess dissecting the fridge to find the issue - soaking the carpet. They left to find a replacement fridge - not only is it an old fridge but it was disgustingly dirty with drips of who knows what on the inside.- We moved out and spent an entire day deep cleaning and carpet cleaning to ensure we were not charged the hefty fee coming out of our deposit. The head of Maintenance came to do a walk through before we moved out and he did no kind of walking, just stood at the front door. During that visit, he quoted a certain amount if the place were left as is and then said the most wed get charged if we cleaned and carpet cleaned would be said amount.--Guess what?! We got charged as if we didnt clean the place at all (we have pictures to prove otherwise). Thankfully no charge for the carpet cleaning since we provided proof of the rental but seriously?! This place is ridiculous and trying to take anything they can get. AND we have yet to get a courtesy phone call back from anyone including the head of maintenance who lied to us. Weve called several times over the past two weeks or so and nothing. Were the ones that need to keep calling. We just want what we deserve from our deposit. But doesnt look like thats happening so heres my review.Moved out in September 2017 and STILL waiting for a call back.
This place is incompetent. They send emails to residents with new access to scheduling pools. Then you find out as you’re trying to access the pool that it was an error and it will start tomorrow. Try to schedule it tomorrow. Would have been great to know since I cancelled my physical therapy and was waiting for my time to use pool. All they could offer was an apology. How sweet! Maybe, just maybe understand that your mistakes cause others trouble. I’ve been a resident for 4 years and never complain, pay rent on time and stay to myself. The physical pain I’m in and excited to use the pool instead of going to physical therapy was such a positive thing today until I realized I rent from a company that hires subpar individuals to run the front office.
They give the residents attitude if you go into the office to complain. Charge residents $100 extra a month to have a parking spot but don’t even enforce it so there’s no parking even though you’re paying for it. Tow company says they’re not authorized to tow any cars unless the car doesn’t have a license plate so don’t bother paying extra for a plaque that doesn’t mean anything. Handicap spots are baby sat by the same residents so if you need one sorry but it’s used for vehicle storage. Not sure if river ranch down the street is owned by the same company but they have higher reviews and I’m sure their main office cares more than here so check them out instead. There’s better customer service at the DMV than this place.
This place is horrible. I pay 2000 to live here but this place cant keep a pool clean. They waste thousands of gallons of water watering weeds. I make unanswered complaints. My next door neighbor paid 600 for the same exact apartment (section 8) and they were so dirty they brought in cockroaches. Then they finally were evicted and destroyed the house so bad, workers have been in there for three weeks trying to repair the damages .. Its very noisy. After the fire we asked them to send someone in to do a deep cleaning but have not heard back about it. This was weeks ago.Do not be fooled by the scenery and exterior of the homes. They are poorly built and poorly maintained.
They let MOLD grow in my garage for over 6 months. Worst place to live!!!! Take your money elsewhere. I lived There for just over 11 months and there were things that hadnt been fixed since before I moved in. I gave a list of things that needed to be fixed to the office staff and not one thing was fixed. After repeatedly asking for them to get rid of MOLD and water damage they said they needed to call a vendor. It took them over 6 MONTHS!!!! My children and I became very sick during this time. 0 stars!!! They also give you paperwork to sign after you give youre 30 day notice which states they are allowed to charge you for normal wear and tear which is against the law so I reserved the right to not sign that document. I took pictures to prove Ive left the unit in the same condition as when I moved in and I have emails from the property manager that admits to taking over 6 months to get a vendor to fix the mold. So all ends are covered on my end.
It is like MAFIA management .They Break in to my house without authorization in my absence.This is the worst place you could lease an apartment or townhouse. Run away immediately and dont believe the fake smiles at the office. They entered my house against my wish and without authorization, they said it is in the contract we can break in whenever we want. I asked them to wait for me so i can be in the house but they refused. I was worried about some sensitive documents in the house. When I came to the house, i found them break in already against my will. They invaded my privacy and the removed the linen off my bed and my guest room bed and throw the linen on the ground, also they destroyed my bed and removed the plastic cover. I left the plastic cover to keep it clean because I cant afford to buy a bed every few years.On another note, one time I forgot to pay the rent by the third day, i was very busy at work, they came and left a paper saying they will kick me out if I did not pay within 24 hours. On another note, the properties are infested with cockroaches, I notified the management but they did not do nothing. Also I heard there is some dangerous person who live here. At first it seems a very nice property but be careful and be smart, choose a different area your family worth it
Lived here for 14 months. First off, so much criminal activity in the area. My wifes car was broken into while it was in the garage. Then I was very sick and on medical leave for cancer and did my best to make the rent each and every month only to not have the money one month, according to California law, you are allowed a 10 day grace period for payments of rent, mortgage, credit cards, car loans. This place doesnt care and sends you to eviction at 9am on the 10th day. A lawsuit waiting to happen because thats what they did to me. Ruthless management, no care in the world to help or work with a stage 3 cancer patient. And then to top it all off, the apartments were nice but made crappy. Paint was chipping off the walls, water leaking through the walls from when it did rain. Generally crooked area. I would suggest looking elsewhere.
The worst condo anyone can live, the office staff is very friendly, but if the condo houses management is terrible stingy and incompetent, more than 3 days without air conditioning, because they have a single person fixing this type of damage ? (I am not the only one affected I have understood that there are more than 20 houses with the same problem) houses in bad conditions. Is a person possible for a place that has more than 200 houses? Is it possible that the dishwasher is damaged 3 times a month? Incredibly the administration of this type of case is the worst in the world, I can not wait for my contract to end.
My advice: avoid this place at all costs! The reviews below are completely believable compared with my experience. The management is terrible and they truly do not care about your issues, whether its a burst pipe flooding downstairs for hours, the front door being installed backwards, water leaking through the ceiling, and lets not forget the heinous parking situation. Please save yourself the headache and find somewhere else.I also need to mention: this place is not ADA compliant in the least! No handicap parking or access to any of the buildings. We cant have family visit for this reason.
The leasing office manager is very unprofessional. She gave us a moving date with everything approved and a day before move in she tells us she needs more documents before we move in and she cant approve the applications. Now I cant stay at my current place and I dont have the new place to move in to as we thought we did. She did a horrible job following up with us and leaving important tasks to the last minute.
Targeting my friends that are moving out and paid(to terminate lease) after numerous things have gone wrong(water not working nor heater) and now out the move out day they called a tow company to take cars that are helping them move out. Cars have been Parking in the same spot for visiting for the past 6 months. SMH
DO NOT MOVE TO COLONY TOWNHOMES. This is a terrible place to live. Management is rude and unhelpful and acts as though residents maintenance requests and actual--sometimes hazardous--problems are inconvenient for them to deal with. When we did a walkthrough we were not allowed to complete our own condition report. They demonstrated the fireplace during our walkthrough then as soon as we moved in it did not work, and maintenance told us a part was missing. It seems like they take the piece out and move it to other units to make it look like things are functioning just to get you to sign the lease. As soon as we moved in I found dog hair in the carpet throughout the entire upstairs. We had ants in the walls and recently started to find cockroaches. The little playground areas are littered with trash--we only went twice and will not take our children. This is hardly a gated community as people will just pull their car over and wait for residents to enter, so anyone can really enter the property at any time. The gate has been broken on several occasions. Someone even ran their car into our garage after 4 weeks of living here, and of course there are no cameras within the complex.There is currently water flooding our downstairs bathroom underneath the tile, and has spread to our entire living room underneath the floor boards. The water was seeping out from underneath the stairs and has soaked the baseboards which are now coming away from the walls. This means water is in places we cant even see, which is a breeding ground for mold and pests. We are trying to break our lease and they are completely uncooperative. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS PLACE IS OVERPRICED AND NOT UPKEPT PROPERLY. They dont care about you they only care about your money.
If you want to know why this is a ROTTEN place to live just take a look at the management. I received a call from Susan, who is apparently the property manager for the place. I was informed that I had a balance on my rent and along with that there was a late fee that they were going to waive for me as a courtesy. The kicker? I received an invoice from The Colony and paid it IN FULL at the beginning of the month. Apparently, because we are now month to month our rent has been bumped up (which is understandable) but their office wrote the wrong amount on the invoice. If Susan had any tact at all and any management sense she would have done one of two things: 1.) Waived the balance since it is not my issue that their office made a mistake 2.) Spoken with some courtesy to and politeness to a resident who has always paid their invoices in full and on time. However, she continuously interrupted me and then she informed that we would have received a notice 60 days prior to the date of the invoice stating that once we are month to month our rent would go up and that at the bottom of that page it states that the invoice total may be incorrect. How is it my issue that they cannot even get their invoices right? To make it even worse she said that we should have received a notice informing us that our rent was now considered past due two days ago. She said that notice would have been placed on our door. I am 9 months pregnant and I took the last week off to stay home and rest - we did not receive a single notice - yet another failure on the part of The Colony.I let Susan know that she should check out their Yelp reviews and take a moment to think about whether she is actually doing her job properly if so many people are upset with the management.FYI last year I posted a review of this place after we had an issue with them spraying for ants. We emptied out all of our cupboards and got the place ready for them to spray and no one came. A month or two later we got a call from someone else in management pleading with us to take the review down. Apparently everyone was up for review and they didnt want another bad mark on their record. We took it down because we dont believe in standing in the way of someones career but there is no way I will be doing that again.Im now waiting on a call from someone from corporate, Shane. Well see if the bad management here is just a side effect of even worse management in the higher positions - heres hoping its not.
Run, run away.....as fast as you can! It looks pretty from the outside, but looks aredeceiving! Management is terrible and corporate is worse, they are horrible!!Overpriced, dirty, and dangerous. Seriously, if you are concerned with your wellbeing, look elsewhere. You can find a much nicer and safer place to live in SantaClarita Valley. Just because the Sheriffs department is out here every daydoesnt make if safe.....they are here because of the drug dealers or because of theviolence going on. My place was broken into twice already and they dont care to make this a better place to live. I found a place in Valencia for $1,500 (same square footage).If you want to surround yourself with thieves and drug dealers, welcome home!Look somewhere else to live.IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN PLEASE DONT SUBMIT THEM TO THIS PLACE
Worst place ever. They are so unorganized, they lie, and never get things done. I have to threaten them to have maintenance come out because they neglect Californias 21 day law to fix things. They accept section 8. Its unsafe. There is no parking here EVER. they allow over 10 people to live in one place. There is no security. They dont make people move spots so broken down cars stay in visitors parking. They only care about you when theyre trying to lease to you. You WILL NOT get your security deposit back even when you leave the place spotless. We are taking them to court! Do not move here. If you do, document everything. Take pictures before you move in and after. Document every phone call, conversation, and record the time it took to fix things and who you spoke to. Im pretty sure they are doing illegal stuff there. The cops are here EVERY DAY. Our last neighbors were arrested for dealing drugs and making them in their house! The crime rate is so high, look it up on google! NOT SAFE. I have to call the cops on two of my neighbors weekly for beating their wives. I can hear them when they live two streets away from me. There are GANG MEMBERS HERE THAT REP, PEOPLR GOING THROUGH THE TRASH, WE FOUND OUR SCREEN RIPPED OUT FROM AN ATTEMPTED BREAK IN. Managers do NOTHING. They have new staff too often. Nobody can keep up. MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO NOT COME HERE.
Worst customer service. If I have a problem with anything when I go to the office depending on who is working I get treated like I am lying about my issues and wasting their time. They will do and say anything to not let you talk with the manager first, even if they do not have the answers, some of them will lie or make up some fallacious argument of why I cant be helped or the fact that I shouldnt be concerned about my rights if their policies supersede my rights. Most of them have an authoritarian complex and have to try to show you whos in charge and that they have power when their title is clearly not property manager. They will do inspections while giving you just the 24 hour notice and make it difficult to schedule a time that you can be there.(They entered my property without permission and I requested that I be there but nobody called me back and the only person in the office got so hot and bothered that I wanted to talk to the manager about my legal rights and told me to leave the office). Less than one month later I got another note for another inspection. I have been lied to about weird things like being told my A/C unit had parts replaced(and it worked good for 24 hours) then the next maintenance guy said no parts were replaced on the unit but my refrigerant was low and he filled it and said that no parts were ever replaced because its impossible on my unit without replacing the entire unit, whoever told me that was lying. He said they are just not powerful units. I have had my remote replaced twice and lookedat today with them to no avail they said theres nothing they can do, so I asked for the property manager over three times(one of the maintenance workers stated what are you gonna ask for them to put in a new box for YOU???) with the man in charge reaching for the remote in my hand. I stated are you retarded(defending my space and wondering why I am still not talking with the manager that told me to deal directly with him if I have problems) and was immediately told I need to leave with him reaching his arms around me as if to guide me out of the office. How many times do I have to ask to see a manager. The Property manager and I have had a previous discussion about the google reviews and he said he is working on it. It has been over a month since then and it seems to be getting worse. XXXX DO NOT COME HERE! OVERPRICED, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE(except a few out of many), LOW POWERED A/C UNITS, MANY GATE AND REMOTE PROBLEMS, INSPECTIONS, HARD TO REACH THE OFFICE, TRASH OVER FLOWS EVERY OTHER DAY, NO GUEST PARKING, CRACKED TILE, DENTED DOORKNOBS, LOTS OF LOW INCOME NEIGHBORS, OVERLOOKS THE 14 FREEWAY AND THE RAILROAD(shakes your whole building) XXXX
DONT LIVE HERE !!Management, nonexistent!! Want loud 3am neighbors? frat house next door ? Vehicles blocking your garage entrance? Management turning a blind eye on any issues ? Well you have found the place !In all honesty, you can find a better location. Save yourself the headaches. This isn’t a place you can call “Home.” as long as you pay your rent, you’ll never hear from mangent about anything. The Colony makes you believe you’re moving into a safe and peaceful community at first, but with a bunch of community guidelines you must sign. My advice when asked about the place is always “it’s not worth the headache, it’s not worth losing your peace of mind”
I am very disappointed to see all of these negative reviews. I was living at Colony when it was first built and had a good experience but that was 13yrs ago...moved to GA. I came to check out for my daughter and unfortunately due to others experiences will not recommend...I was paying 1750 then.....
I would recommend looking at the reviews this place has received. There is not parking, good luck having any guests. Ive literally seen a SWAT team, yes a SWAT team take down multiple drug dealers in the place. Management are as crooked as them come. You will never get your deposit back and in fact youll have to owe anywhere from $1k - $5k on your way out. Please stay away from this place or at least take the time to do your due diligence.
Our new experience and interaction with the colony townhomes living at the colony townhomes has been a very unpleasant - disaster - stay away!!!! stay away!!! ! stay away!!! ! stay away!!! having to live with neighbors on section 8 housing is a real joy!!!! very rude - loud walking around drunk these section 8 housing family members love to brag about paying 50% - %70 below market value yes this our neighbors here at the colony townhomes lets see our rent is $2000.00 a month the section 8 housing family neighbors is about $700.00 a month $2000.00 vs $700.00 a month for the same unit thats 1990s market rate gee - wiz - hugh -wow- golly if we new this earlier we would have stayed away!!!! and not look back. of course it is the honest duty of management to inform the tenants of the colony townhomes to send notices and alert us to see if we can qualify for section 8 housing no such notices have ever been sent or posted on our door - this can be viewed as discrimination !!!!! we did confront management on this issue and as always answer we thought we told you our answer is once again bs - bs - bs - show us the notice and application - there response we are out of notices!!!!! bs-bs-bs!!! we have also filed several complaints on the section 8 housing family members which is our neighbors and called security No Show !!!!! MANAGEMENT NO RESPONSE neighbors being very nosy all hours of the night - blocking -our garage with there very nice expensive sports cars!!!!! which are belong to our section 8 housing family members we ave seen these cars parked in the garage. nice huh - stay away!!!! stay away!!! ! stay away!!! ! stay away!!! if we were you - make sure you lock your doors!!!!! roll up your car windows!!! dont leave any packages on the balcony, stay away!!!! stay away!!! ! stay away!!! ! stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Railroad tracks goes thru this complex. The freeway basically goes over on one side. The wash is on the other side giant blood suckers. The shopping center will be on the other side. There is only one exit now. No parking for guest. No street parking if you come late. (The streets should be like on brand street and be diagonal to fit more spots. The street is 40mph btw.) The walls are thin. Maintenance takes too long. They say they gonna do inspection and never do. I think the neighbor is growing weed. The kitchen has no ventilation hood so gases goes to the bedroom and make you light headed and dizzy. Oh and now dogs barking all day.
Run away .... run away as fast as you can you wanna know way ? okay 1-cockroachs every where 2- free way and train line right next to your apartment so noise all the time 3- parking if you have more than 2 cars you are done i use to park by the oak apartments and come back all the way walking which is like 2 miles or so and there some people they park there cars in the gust parking and they live there garage empty ... they wrote in the contract that no commercial vehicle or you cant park for more than 3 days thats not true a lot of cars doesnt move for month or some time more ... if you think you have a handicap good luck with that they have only 4 parking handicap spots and they are full all the time cause people doesnt move there car at all 4- kids play every where any time they dont care i almost got hit before by a 12 years old kid biking so fast 5- pluming is very bad ...... i was lucky that i signed 6 month lease only and i got out 6- after you move out they will take your full deposit as fixing damage ,changing carpet ,painting and even if you left the unit super clean they still going to do that .... so if you didnt run away then go for it ....try it.
The customer service is only based on you paying the rent ... for the record... you as a resident does not mean anything to them ... parking is not available for visitors... you have a midget parking for 2 car compact... if you find parking is one in a million chance, in my stay time 3 neighbors in our area were stolen in broad daylight ... so security ... is not available and if you manage to show with photos and evidence about the situation ... no one answers to you ... that is if they charge you for insurance but it also does not work ... long story short ... again it is a land without law and you have no value for the company and for their employees who work in it ... only those who arrange maintenance are very attentive ... please run before its too late ... of course, do not wait for the deposit to be returned ... you have a list of charges to rebuild the house again ... when I was only for two years and not what is stipulated by the law... that is 5 years or more... either way ... they kept the deposit ... I am gone thats the important part.

I have problems with my AC and is almost 5 days with that and have only one person fix those ,is annoying and inhumanity with the person because the weather is hot .DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Pretty nice place but maintenance and customer service is just horrible. Bathroom and kitchen sink has been leaking when we have moved here, reported to management and sent reports to their website and yet there is still no action done nor word when itll be fixed especially since we are paying a pretty high price for rent and renters insurance.. meeeeeeeh
Gloria has been amazing with my family and I 🙏 When we were looking for a new home after moving from The Valley to Santa Clarita and having our apartment burn at Sierra Highway Gloria and Staff were so awesome humble and warming with us and since that day she has been very helpful. Thank you for all your help 🙏
Moving into this place will be the biggest mistake in your life, Im not gona talk about the bad things in this place caz theres a lot but heres one of them, Im writing the review now while Im in the car waiting for a parking spot in the street or in the guest parking to open, sucks having 3 bedroom unit with only 2 spaces parking garage, anyways I know most people will not listen to the reviews just like I did and will try it them selfs, all I can tell you, if you going to do that to your self then get the least months avilabele, like 6 months contract so you wouldnt be stuck here for longer then that.
Very bad place if i could i would give less then a star had very bad experience they told me i was aproved ask for a bunch of bank statements and made me go like 4 or five times at the end of the day they didnt approved me i guess they want you to make a million every month its not even in a nice area.

I have been living here for more than 6 months and I love this place.They go twice that I have occupied maintenance (arrangements in the apartment) and they fix it very fast .. There is no parking as in all LA but for that you have two spaces in your garage and you have to respect rules so that the crane does not come and it carry.I am very satisfied to rent in this place.I give them 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✔💯

2022-02-10Overall I agree maintenance takes a long time to complete requests.. the last request I was surprised they were prompt (not same day obviously, but more than usual).. Rich was very nice and fast worker.. he went above and beyond attending the concerns.. his customer service skills are great.Maybe next maintenance request will be different, but this one time.. I was happy with the service. Thank you Rich.

2022-06-26For over 3 weeks I have reported mold build up in my master bedroom. Strange water leaks from under my carpet. I expressed the urgency of my issue wondering why my 2 year old has been getting back to back respiratory issues. My second (newborn) less 2 weeks cannot sleep here. Im getting sick too and your work order says the work order was complete. So what about the mold.. were not around many people die to COVID, we have no COVID but why have we been randomly getting sick for the past couple months? Even after I expressed the urgency of the situation mold is mold. Your guys came in, fixed the leak, saw the mold and did nothing about it even after it was reported. No one knows of theres also mold under the wet carpet patch we would never have known about the leak under the sink until we pulled everything out. So theres no telling how long we have been living with it nor under the carpet in the bedroom.

2019-01-16I lived here for 2.5 years and saw the good, the bad, and the ugly.Prior to moving in-had a good experience being shown the models and property. I did find the property closer to the office was kept up a lot better than the units towards the back of the property. However, I wanted a unit closer to the front due to safety issues and proximity to main gate.After moving in, had multiple issues that all took multiple visits to get fixed. Refrigerator was broken (took 4-5 visits before they replaced and took care of the damaged food), broken faucet took 2 trips, broken washer (took 2 trips, of which one was made without my permission to enter unit and someone came in and broke a shelving unit of which was never replaced), and flooding in downstairs bathroom TWICE (once from washer and once from toilet). Toilet was an issue as it happened on 4th of July and no one was around to fix and water kept gushing out and ended up flooding my entire living room. This was just prior to my moving out and caused a major issue with them having to dry things out and move furniture to lift carpeting. The smell was disgusting!! On the flip side, I was not charged for carpet replacement when I moved out.Office staff was hit or miss. Had a wonderful experience with Liz and Antoinette. Outside of that, everyone else was lacking knowledge or was downright rude.I absolutely LOVE the location and the proximity to the freeway. I also LOVED the floor plan we chose and the space.Parking was a NIGHTMARE for guests. Most residents took up the guest spots and stored vehicles there and it was NEVER enforced! Parking on the street was hard to come by and not safe. Lots of break ins!!Property was not kept up as well as it could have been. Landscapers were good at coming weekly and that was kept up with, but pools were always dirty and hot tubs never hot. Bathrooms never stocked with toilet paper or clean. Gym was very lack luster. All buildings were in need of power washing, window washing, garage door replacements, etc. interiors also need a revamping to update them to make them more modern.I truly believe with proper management, proper upkeep, and remodeling.....they could get some better residents that would keep up with their units. Lots of riff raff that live there and are trashy.We finally couldn’t take the rising rent prices without anything being done to really make it worth it. Glad we are gone.

2021-03-29Cars are parked in red zones and behind garages, which the lease states they cannot be. I had my car towed when it was parked behind my garage, so why are others getting away with this?The small gym always has broken equipment so I have to pay for a gym membership.People dont clean up after their dogs so the dog run here is always nasty;Other than these issues, the place is a good place. I have lived here for over 4 years.

2021-09-08We have been calling the office for 3 days now regarding our trash not being collected for the past 4 days and emailed to no response. Why hasnt this happened? This is becoming a health hazard as rodents and bugs are feasting on our uncollected garbage. We pay high collection fees and we expect our trash to be picked up. This pile of garbage (literally) is right next to a kids playground! I walked around the other buildings and their garbage has been picked up with no issues so why is our building being excluded? This is disgusting and the stench is starting to make its way into our homes,.There is no where to put the trash so everyone is now leaving it around the surrounding areas

2020-01-31Not a good place to live extremely money hungry and unsafe place. They are pushing out their loyal older residents with extreme rental increase, never correctly fixing issues with the units( our heater has been broken for over a year we have put in several work orders still nothing is done) they avoid fixing problems that will cost them money but have no issues increasing our rent significantly. We have been told several lies while living here. We will be getting out ASAP.Thankfully we have met some really good neighbors and one particular maintenance worker has been great. Javier is always respectful, polite and has a smile on his face my family and I really like him.

2020-07-12DO NOT MOVE HERE. Its a big complex with rules that make no sense. They wont tell you everything when your signing up. My handicap guest came over and we assisted him up the stairs and when we went back down his car was towed away! It was less than 5 minutes!! We pay $100 for extra parking which is unusable for guests. They have no loading areas and do not have guest parking. Also the whole community only gets 3 handicap spots which is pathetic considering theres like 500 houses. You have to reserve the pool months ahead and they cancel on you when the day comes. Worst place to live cant wait till the lease is over! Do not recommend the colony.

2019-09-29Terrible Place to live, I lived here for 4 years and my AC broke down during the July Heat Wave on a Friday afternoon and it wasnt fixed until Monday evening. I was told they dont work weekends and they would fix it when they could. The office manager didnt seem to care about it. Parking is terrible, area is unsafe, car break-ins, parties held with loud music in garages, I moved out and am paying $300 more a month than I was paying there very much worth it. I see the responses from the owners to these reviews. Dont apologize get the problems fixed, you can start by hiring office staff that get things done and have them enforce the polices you have in place. There is no parking because many garages are used for storage. Management, You see all these bad reviews. Do Something About it.

2020-09-07Paid rent every month on the 1st yet still dont get things taken care in a timely manner or done correctly the 1st time. Everybody tries to just get you off of the phone and not take accountability and push it off on somebody else. No promises or guarantees are ever kept by the office. And if they give a bs excuse in response to this I still have all my work orders to show and prove it and will attach videos of the things still not taken care of after multiple work orders and multiple visits.
