Camping world of Redding is the place I will be recommending for RVs and Services. Kevin was knowledgeable and polite and answered all my questions. I was trying to find out how to buy a rv from a different state and he took the time to answer all my questions. If all of Camping world of Redding employees are as honest and helpful as Kevin they should all get 5 star reviews. Thank you so much for your help.
AWESOME Store. Was on 1200 mile trip and needed to make a repair. Stopped at every Wal-Mart and other stores for 300 miles and NOTHING. CAME upon Camping World and they had the items I needed and I was able to dump my tanks and fill propane as well. Very nice store, well stocked and friendly staff.
After searching at many different locations where we felt pressured to buy something we didn’t want we found the perfect 5th wheel for our family at camping world Redding. Morgan Sanford was awesome and all the staff there was very helpful in answering our questions and making our experience stress free. We walked away with more then we expected at a price we never expected. Would recommend them to anyone looking to buy.

I was in the market for my fist travel trailer but did not know where to start or literally anything that you needed to know when buying one. Thinking about the process honestly stressed me out to the point where I almost gave up on the idea. I was driving through Redding this weekend and thought that I should stop in and take a look at my options to see if that helped. I walked in and instantly found out that was the best decision that I couldve made. Clifford Lundgren made the process so much fun with zero stress. He walked me from trailer to trailer, explaining everything about them and showing what each layout had to offer. Until I came upon the most perfect one. Once I have chosen the trailer that I wanted he walked though everything inside and out to ensure I felt comfortable with everything. Cliff really went above and beyond to not only make sure that I picked the right trailer for me but to make sure I knew exactly how to work everything on it. He made the process so wonderful that I wish I could afford to buy another one from him right now. I am not too sure about any over the other sales people there but if you have the opportunity to work with Cliff take it, you will not regret it. If I could honestly give Clifford Lundgren more than 5 stars I would he is simply amazing and truly an RV expert.
I came in a couple months ago. . A salesman at the Anderson store showed me all the options they had available. I was really surprised by his knowledge of each trailor, and the various options it came with. Sean Green has definitely earned my business, though my wife has yet to dicide what I can get. You can bet as soon as she does, I have his number on speed dial.
I have called in on a couple of occasions seeking info on a few different model RV’s. Both time I spoke with Sean Green who was extremely knowledgeable and polite on both calls. He has basically sold us on going through CampingWorld when we are ready to purchases our first RV.. James
We Went to CW In Redding California just to get some essentials . Decided to look at some RVs . Had No idea Morgan would Show is exactly what we have been looking for to upgrade. Morgan was amazing . He even came in on his day off for signing Due to that was the only day we had to do it . Then on signing We met Amazing Staci the Financial manager ❤️ She is like my sister from another mother and father LOL . We just clicked ❤️ She was outstanding even gave me her personal number if I needed anything. Had a few hiccups after we got it home I called her and she had herself and a lovely gentleman I forgot his name . We came out from Humboldt County to purchase an RV from Camping World, and we had an amazing experience! I was able to do a lot from home virtually, and I only spent a few hours total in Redding. Thank you Eric and the rest of the crew, you made my first RV purchase an extremely smooth experience, I would absolutely purchase from you guys again! This was our first time buying a travel trailer and they absolutely knocked it out of the park for us! They were patient and kind throughout the whole process. We were never pressured to go through with anything and they made the process very easy and explained everything clearly to us. Above and beyond is an understatement. Shane is helpful,honest, and kind. We will make it a point to come back here for any future business. I cannot say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them to friends and family.
We want to give a shout-out to Dakota Hansen and Camping World! Dakota was patient and worked with us on finding the perfect fit RV for our 10 person family. She’s not pushy and communicates well and gets things done! We would definitely use her again! We had nothing but a good experience with Camping World.
Let me start by saying there are many options in the Redding/ Anderson area when it comes to RVs/ Trailers but nothing compares to the quality that Camping World in Anderson brings to the table. Jason Danielson was our sales person and he provided the perfect experience from start to finish. We left completely happy, dont bother looking anywhere else, make your first stop Camping World!
After a few months, the fireplace in my brand new tow behind failed. I made a quick phonecall and spoke with Brian who told me what info he needed to get me a replacement and that while his service was backed up at that moment he was also willing to talk me through removing the unit and getting him the info he needed. A few emails and some pictures and the new fireplace is installed - easy.
I had the pleasure of Keri Conger being my sales person at camping world the knowledge she had of all the trailers we viewed made making our decision super easy and the purchasing went smooth she was so determined to find us what we were looking for thank you Keri for being such an awesome employee
I was extremely nervous about getting our first RV, the sales team was amazing and super knowledgeable. They answered every question and helped me find the best fit for my family. The price was better than a couple other places we tried. Will definitely be sending my friends and family here!

The staff at this location were all friendly, professional, and accommodating. We were having some issues with our weight distribution hitch on the way south toward San Diego on a Saturday. Despite only having one technician on site, Jeremiah in service told us to bring it in without hesitation and made time to take a look at it to make sure we were traveling safely. Cody, the technician, stepped away from his work without hesitation to assist.He explained that our hitch setup was incorrect and educated us on how it should have been (we did a lot of research ourselves and took instructions from the private seller we bought from - both of which gave us bad info). Cody had us disconnect our RV from our tow vehicle, and he took it to adjust the hitch and saddles to make sure our setup was corrected. They did this all complimentary and didnt charge us a penny.Thanks to the awesome team here, we feel safe completing our trip and are leaving more educated on how to tow in the future.
Received the highest quality of service and wasn’t shamed when I didn’t know all of the details I probably should have when I went to purchase a new toy. Shane was a great help and would recommend him and the company to anyone looking to add an addition to their toy lot as well!
My ex went to get a fifth wheel that was 3 years old the ac was bad the auto leveling system wouldnt work even after they said that it was fixed mold everywhere obviously been hit on one side slightly to where the siding skirt had 3/8 inch gaps some electrical problems the stove wouldnt light and so on and this was after the inspection that they put it through then they deliver it and we find all of these problems really rude customer service and would definitely never send anyone there for a trailer
We were just throwing around the idea of getting an RV The staff was very friendly and informative. Though we did not purchase one that day we received some good information and will be making a purchase in the future now that we know what we can afford. Definitely was not like some of the car dealerships in town. Thank you Camping World
I would like to say thank you to everyone that helped us. We took a road trip up to Lake Shasta in our RV. Not sure as to how the service department did it but, our coach broke down the morning we arrived. We got a hotel room thinking we would be there for a few days. Nope Camping World service had us read to roll the next morning. You guys are amazing. We enjoyed the rest of our visit and came back home to Beaumont Texas. Thanks A Million And God Bless Yall

Customer service was unprofessional. Two young and loud salesman with inappropriate jokes. Im 53 and was so uncomfortable we left and plan to never hopefully go back! Too young, and very sale-like talk. Plus the guy smelled like alcohol.After a wonderful call from camping world, decided to go back and try it again.NEVER AGAIN!!! Very poor customer service! Went even far enough to apply. Two days later I text the sales person, who hadnt called as he said he would. Never called to explain or anything! 🤔😒🤥 Instead responded to my text that we did not qualify. Thats it! No call, no explanation, no nothing.... Their loss, NOT ours. Im sure if they wanted something, theyd be up our a**es! Ridiculous! Barely any inventory, dont even know about 0 down for 90 days special, that they advertise and most get paid for walking around doing nothing. Sad! I wouldnt buy from Redding Camping World!!!! Plus their prices are higher than anywhere else! Found same 5th wheel, newer, for $8k less!
On behalf of Von Eubanks, Michael (parts) was an excellent help while trying to find the correct key part to the toilet in my camper trailer. Darlis (mechanical help) went above and beyond by helping my associate tear apart and put the toilet back together to make sure we got the right part no matter what. Dawn (manager) was very courteous throughout the entire process and ensured that I left a happy and satisfied customer.
I have been looking at buying a tow behind for quite some time. So the wife and I decided to swing on by and take a look, we were so indecisive but the staff stayed freindly and attentive we ended up not making a purchase this time but we would definitely go back. they earned our business today!
I am moving to Redding from Boone, Ia, know just a few close friends, and luckily I have a place to park my RV. But the long drive on the way over, something like a Griswolds family cross country adventure had my RV in absolute shambles, and I needed a service to just about everything, as well as a tune up. When you have to have service done to what is basically your home, you hope it will be as quick as possible, and between the cost of the hotel and service work doesnt dig into your retirement too much.. The folks in the service department were awesome!! Before I could get used to the hotel, I was back in my RV and it is purring like a kitten!! I cant wait to go to Yosemite, Lassen Park and Burney Falls now that she is back in good repair!! I have my new team that will be the ONLY folks taking care of my beauty for everything major, minor or in between. They already feel like friends and family!! Thanks Service Department!!
We had a great experience all around at Camping world. The people were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and never pushy. Mickey showed us exactly what we asked for and listened to what we had to work with. Including a trade we had. He helped us find just the right trailer! The financing process was not stressful and everything was explained and questions answered. Staci was amazing! I would say it seemed they went above and beyond, but it seemed like that was their norm. The whole family left with a smile on our faces. We cannot wait to start our next new adventure. We will look forward to returning for any maintenance and any supplies we may need. If you are looking for a trailer I highly recommend giving Camping world a go!
I couldnt be happier with the work that was done on my toy hauler! The service department was amazing, helped me get to the root of the issue I was having before dropping it off.. They were done very quickly, and the young lady I talked to was knowledgeable, and I walked away confident and relieved, knowing the work was done right. Thanks again service department!
Monica was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful in showing us various trailers that checked our boxes without going out of our budget and trailer length. She was great with our toddlers and accommodating to make sure they were comfortable while we went over financing options. I highly recommend Monica while shopping for an RV!
A big thank you to Shawn and Jeremiah for helping us with our RV. We were traveling south heading home from Oregon. We had an issue while we were up in Oregon, contacted them they ask us to stop in on our way home so they could take a look.They had our problem resolved and had us back on the road in less than an hour. They went above and beyond to accommodate us
I came to Anderson camping world because my friend keri in sales let me know about the giant store selection and service deparmtent for my rv needs. I wish i purchased my current trailer through them becuase of all they have to offer!! Not to mention the great customer service I received!!!
This has been the worst buying experience I have ever had in my life. I do take responsibility for not taking the time to do my research and make sure I was not being taken advantage of but I was in a time crunch and trusted the sales rep and finance manager. I was sold a used 2019 camper and told because it was used for a few months it already took its massive depreciation and was already marked down so much that there is no way I would lose money in the deal the first year. Well now I see not even 4 months later you can buy the unit new for the same price.The dealership wont even take the unit back on consignment and if they do they want to give me half of what I paid which doesnt even cover the loan on the unit. Also there was issues with the unit once I got it home and it took forever to get it fixed (they broke the self leveling jacks and said they would fix them, the shower leaked all over the place inside the unit). When I asked about getting some kind of credit for all of the issued I went through I was basically ignored.All in all this has been an absolute terrible experience and an extremely expensive mistake on my part. I will never do business with Camping World again and I highly recommend that you avoid them unless you want to be taken advantage of.
In our search for getting the perfect trailer we came upon Curtis!!! He went above and beyond in helping us find the perfect trailer. We test drove, and he went over everything for us. He went over finance options, service options and even insurance. He was super knowledgeable and really helped us. If you are searching for the perfect guy to help you find your trailer I highly suggest you go see Curtis at camping world in Anderson. I loved his upfront and honest attitude. If we had questions he made sure we had the answers!!

Eric - awesome sales guy every question he was on it and always keeping us in the loop!! Shane in service dang we did not meet anyone we did not like but the ones name went beyond fir us and in this work o day it’s rare, camping world hold on to your employees here because great employees are hard to find today!! Treat them well and keep them! Lol we had a great experience.
This is an updated 5 Star Rating and Review, correcting the 2 Star Rating pertaining to the Post below that I left last week. Within an hour of posting my original review I was contacted by Sean, (sp?), of Camping World. Unfortunately I was not available for his call but he left me a message to please contact him ASAP. He stated that he was very concerned about my review and would like some time to discuss my concerns. Within another hour I received a response from Camping World Corporate stating that they were concerned as well. I spoke with a nice young lady named Jessica who assured me that she would follow up on this situation and asked that I contact her if I needed any additional assistance. After a couple of days of phone tag I was contacted by Sean today and he assured me that my concerns would be addressed fairly. Long story short. After thirty minutes of conversation we came to what I feel was an amicable resolution that is more than fair and assures me that Camping World is very committed to their Customers Satisfaction! Thank You Sean, as well as everyone that I had the privilege to work with at Camping World!David BigelowLakehead, CA.**********************************I purchased a new 2021 Forest River Sierra Destination Trailer from a local seller. I needed to have an additional a/c unit added as well as two other minor items that needed to be addressed. I had the unit towed to Camping World about June 1st. Michael in the Parts Department was very accommodating and I paid for and ordered the unit. My trailer was braced and prewired for the a/c and the thermostat as well an empty space for an additional breaker. I also spoke about the possibility of having the unit washed and waxed as well as possibly relocating some entry step brackets from the patio door to the bedroom door. The unit was with them for over one month but I told them up front that I was not in a big hurry, wanting to do some lot prep before having it delivered. Everyone with Parts and Service was very professional and helpful. The problem came when I picked the unit up and was given my bill. The cost of the wash/wax had increased by $200.00. Asking why I was told that it took a couple of service hours to look at my step brackets and determine they were unable to move them. No estimates no calls...just $200.00 to tell me they were unable to change the brackets. In addition, I was charged $168.00 for the a/c thermostat which I was told did not come with the a/c. What? An a/c with no way to turn it on and off?? Again, the a/c was paid for in advance, over $1700.00, and I received no calls or additional estimates . Just the surprise of owing an additional $368.00 before I could pick up my unit. My experience with Camping World was a very good and accommodating one until the day I picked up my unit. We all know that $ is tight these days. The unknown addition of $368.00 to my Camping World bill really hurt and just doesnt seem right.David BigelowLakehead, CA.
We left a message Sunday night about our interest in a toy hauler they had listed. Right when they opened I received a call. The sales team (Morgan and Curt) were very professional, listened, and didn’t try to sell us something we weren’t looking for. Once they located what we wanted, it was already early afternoon. They went out of their way to get everything coordinated (on short notice) so that we could pick up the trailer that evening (not an easy task). We had a 4 hour drive, and arrived 30 minutes before closing. They didn’t rush us one bit! They made sure we got the same quality experience we would have got if it was first thing in the morning. The trailer was extremely clean, powered up for demonstration, and high quality. By the time we were ready to hook up the trailer, everyone except Staci and Morgan had gone home (it was after hours). They realized that we had the wrong hitch and went above and beyond to make sure we had the right connection and wouldn’t let us go until they knew we would be safe. In fact, while we were signing papers, Curt came back in (he was already home for the night) and teamed up with Morgan to make it work.Staci, Morgan, and Curt really made us feel like family. They were positive, very friendly, and were only focused on our experience the entire time. This is a team of Pros. We can’t thank them enough for the great experience purchasing our first trailer. I would drive 4 hours again to purchase our next trailer if we ever need another one :). If there was a way to rate them higher than 5 stars I would! Very highly recommend that you contact them if you are in the market for a RV.

LEAKING BRAND NEW TRAILER FROM CAMPING WORLD !! BUYER BEWARE AS THEY SAID ITS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND WE NEED TO GET A NEW TRAILER FROM KEYSTONE BULLET.IT IS NOT ENOUGH WE LOST OUR HOME IN PARADISE CAMPFIRE!!!NOW THIS😭Well just to let you know how CampingWorld handles people who purchase from them1.) My husband and I lost our home and everything in Paradise Campfire 11/8/18 so less then 30 days after we “trusted “ CampingWorld ( BIG MISTAKE)to help us.2) We let them know we never bought an RV in our life 😢and the game began on how much they gouged us $35,000. We let them know there we NO RENTALS within 200 miles and needed a home as my husband ill with liver cancer and had a compromised immune system and needed to have a place.3). Because we paid cash we are sunk as no recourse4.) We bought the trailer 12/4/18.. BRAND NEW BUILT IN 10/2018 by KEYSTONE5) The trailer leaked through the roof, walls , windows, floor and cargo hold.6) CAMPINGWORLD SAID IT WAS CONDENSATION😡😡.. They insult me!!!!6) CampingWorld said it was “ manufacturing defect”!!! To contact KEYSTONE!!!7.). KEYSTONE Said it was CampingWorld’s fault for selling a 27ft BULLET W/O checking the camping trailer was fit to be sold.8) CampingWorld said it was Keystone’s fault for supplying them with unfinished Camping Trailer.9.) it’s such a horrible thing to lose your home and ALL belongings then CampingWorld preys on people such as ourselves. We’ve talked to many others that felt so defeated buying from CampingWorld.10). I’ve got conversations and pictures of our purchase.11). They don’t care and don’t return calls..especially when they know who the person is. IVE REPORTED THEM TO BBB and am now talking to DMV BUREAU
I had such an amazing experience with buying our first trailer at this location with Mickey. I dont live near by and he made everything easy and convenient for my family and I. Everyone at the location including Kurt and Staci were great to work with. Great customer service, communication, and team work. Without Mickey none of it would have happened. Amazing guy and experience!!
Nothing but good things to say about the group of people who work in the service center! When we figured out what we needed they answered all our concerns and helped us make the right choices. I recently bought a new toy hauler and thought everything was fine with it.....I was contacted by Becky who asked me to bring the trailer in to fix the battery disconnect switch panel.....I didnt know it was broken.....while talking with her I said that it would be hard for me to get the trailer to her to replace the piece since I am already using it frequently.......she realized that we live in the same area, although it was a rural area, she delivered the part to me after her and her tech called me earlier to make sure I knew how to replace the part.....which was very easy.....but they made sure I knew and delivered to me........thats 100 percent customer service!!!!....A+

Found a very competitive price on a Coleman 17B travel trailer. We went back for a second time (after kicking tires the first time with Geno) and Morgan was very knowledgeable and helpful. He asked good questions and showed us options and other units that might fit what we needed. We went back to our first choice and they wrote it up. We came in with preapproved financing from our credit union and nobody pressured us to do anything different. I would definitely recommend this location and salespeople. I needed a lift system fixed on a pop up camper. Brian R. was great to work with. I called Friday at 4:45pm and he fit me in the schedule to drop off my camper Saturday. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure I knew what was going on with my camper the whole time. He had the can do attitude from the start and I felt confident in the work that was being done.The day I picked up my camper Brent L. helped me during the check out process and ensured everything was working. The shop was busy that day, but he managed to help me fix my trailer lights. He took them time to check my electrical on my tow vehicle and camper, rewired my plug, and demonstrated great customer service. I was extremely impressed with camping world’s service team and will make the 1.5 hour trip for future RV service and needs. Thank you Brian and Brent !!!!
Will oversell you. Called about getting a keys. Instead of suggesting taking one of the tumblers off and taking to a locksmith, suggested i bring it in and have new key locks put on all around. $40 vs $1000 . Dont expect them to educate you, let alone help you. They are sales heavy.
The first time I walked in the service department I was greeted right away. Everyone was so nice! They always communicated with me through the whole process. Brian was very personable, repaired everything in a reasonable time frame, communicated well and treated my wife and I like friends. Hey Y’all!I would like to brag on the parts department for the Camping World location in Anderson. I had an awning failure on my travel trailer. It has been an adventure getting everything accomplished to replace it. The one plus has been working with Mike Webb in the parts department. He has answered all my questions, both good and bad. He was extremely helpful and was able to get the parts I needed in a reasonable time.The people you work with make all the difference, and Mike is one of the guys that will do all he can to take good care of his costumer!Thanks Mike!
Great experience! I brought my RV in for routine maintenance and the service tech Kevin was the best! Very knowledgeable and straight forward about expected cost. I plan on going back for future services and highly recommend to anyone in search of a trusted service department.
There has never been a fine that Camping World hasn’t come through for me - having an older (2004) Gear Box, parts are sometimes hard to find, but if they can’t find it, they can fabricate it and affordable rates.I’d rather pass up 20 different trailer shops just to get it limped into Camping World.Keep up the great work fellas and ladies!!
We had a considerable amount of work done on a used rv that we had purchased. The two people with whom we dealt, Michael Manning , service representative and Zack a mechanic were both excellent to work with. We were given quotes on the work to be done and when it came time to pay, the amounts matched perfectly. The work that we had done was also done in a timely manner and we have been very pleased with the results. Monica was our service advisor for some minor repairs to our trailer. She made it clear that helping us was her priority and it was obvious that she cares. She kept us informed all through the process, and when the warranty is involved it can be a process. The staff that worked on It did an exemplary job. We could not be more happy with them! We just purchased a 2021 keystone bullet March 6th 2021😃 our salesman Mickey Rodriguez was very helpful answered all our questions and got us a great deal he even took our kids on a golf cart ride and provided snacks and drinks to us it was a very family friendly place to buy a trailer. The finance woman Staci was very helpful and kind explained everything to us and went above and beyond And stayed with us while we installed our hitch and made sure we were all set to hit the road! I would recommend buying a trailer at camping world Anderson they had a lot of great options to pick from and had a very nice store to buy supplies at. It was a great experience we would buy from them again.
Great service and they worked with me on price and my trade in. Salesperson was Geno, if I recall. He was very patient and helpful. Geno served in the military and great to see Camping World hires veterans. He even booked us a tee time on his day off and wrapped up everything. Like a broken Drum, cant beat it!

I am beyond pleased with our experience at Camping World! Everyone that helped us, and I mean everyone, went above and beyond to help us. Being first time RV owners, we had a lot of questions, and they walked us through it all. Will Perkins, our salesman was amazing! He was very responsive to us, even by text over the week that we were finalizing the deal. The sales manager, Shane, went above and beyond to do what it would take to make sure he could get us into our RV. Staci in financing was incredible! She even put Spongebob videos on her computer for our kiddos while we were doing all the paperwork so that they’d be entertained. I give Camping World an A+!! I couldnt be happier with my experience at this location.. I brought my truck and trailer in on a Saturday needing a hitch adjustment on my new truck. With the skeleton crew they had, Monica got me in and out right away. The tech, Zac, completed the work in a timely matter and was very thorough with the work he did. Hats off to them. We needed some help with wiring ... seven way plug connection. We pulled into the parking lot and a Camping World employee was standing there. We asked told him our problem and within one minute he figured it out and fixed it free of charge. A super nice gentleman. His name was Brian Royce. I highly recommend this place. Super friendly. The retail store is great. The sales part leaves a lot to be desired. When we bought our new 5th wheel, many features were changed without our knowledge. We love our new rig but we feel we weren’t treated fairly. We were supposed to have a theater type couch, we received a much cheaper love seat recliner. Our outside kitchen was completely changed. We were supposed to receive table and chairs but got a dinette setup instead. They didn’t even give us the kitchen sink covers/cutting boards.The thing that really bothers us, is we received our new rig a month ago, and nobody from the dealership has had the courtesy to call and ask how things are. As I said, we’re happy with our rig, but the sales dept needs better customer service.
We worked with Mickey to find a new toy Hauler. We ended up with a heartland Fuel. Working with Mickey was great. He took the time to show us what they had and explain the features of the trailer. He worked with finance to help us review options. After spending a few nights in the trailer we discovered a minor issue and Camping World worked to get it fixed fast. We would definitely do business with Mickey and Camping World again.

Amazing people. Professional, straightforward, honest and knowledgeable staff. This is exactly 209 miles from where I live. I drove and brought my whole family with me to see the difference of the same company and different branch with different staff in how they deal with their customers. I simply hate it when the sales person going out of the room every-time you ask a question with what your buying telling you the famous line, “I will go ask my manager” but in truth do they really? I never doubted their (CW Anderson staff) integrity when we ran the numbers on the trailer camper that we want buy over the phone. Just like that and Jusiah and Staci help us out without any issues.just like that we came, we saw and we bought. Not like the CW branch in Vacaville where the price was padded to make it looked like a real deal. I would recommend all my relatives and friends to this branch, their drive is worth it. The service department here is amazing !! They always go above and beyond. This is the only place Ill bring my RV and I tell all my friends and even people I dont know to bring their RV here for service too!! Its really comforting knowing that everything is gonna be done the right way and done well !!
We came in with a trailer we bought from a private party. We needed a sway control weight distribution hitch installed, without an appointment (I know, I know). Everyone from Mike in parts, to Monica and Danny in service worked together to fit us into their schedule and accommodated what we needed. They are all very knowledgable and answered all of our questions and gave us alot of great information. We look forward to using their services in the future.
Monica was Awesome.. She got me in 2 days after Vacaville Camping World gave me the run around and said I never had an appoint after I made it 3 months prior. Then Vacaville told me I would have to wait another 3 months to bring my trailer in for warranty work. So a total of 6 months to get warranty work done. Very poor customer services and communication at Vacaville Camping World.Monica stayed in constant contact with me and took great care of me and my trailer. I purchased a trailer from Curtis Gama last week and it was a great experience. Had a slight hickup with some trim pieces inside after getting home but called service and they are gonna take care of it. I just got my trailer back and havent had a chance to test it yet, but it looks as though they did a good job with the repairs. The service advisor, Brent, was very good about reporting to me what they found and the cost for necessary repairs. They completed the work quickly. I would go there again, and I would recommend them for repairs on your RV.
When we came in to Camping World in Anderson, CA looking for a Class C Motorhome 30 ft. Morgan Sanford Igotup to help us. He took us outside to look at a Thor Four Winds.. we fell in love with it. I came in with my family not really expecting much help and expecting to be given a lot of the old salesman run arounds and feel like I never really got the questions I had answered. Boy was I wrong the people there at Camping World of Redding are super friendly I never really felt pressured or like I was being given the run around or treated poorly they really catered to me and helped me find what direction to go in towards buying my next trailer. I will definitely be buying my next couple of trailers from them.
Had a wonderful experience with our Service Dept. Brad our service manager was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I are clueless as to how to hitch our trailer after asking for help. We had a great experience at Camping World. Our purchase process went smoothly and the parts department knew exactly what we needed to take our 5th wheel home. Camping world had the only trailer with doors wide enoungh for my mothers walker. She is able to go from bath to bed through cabin with walker. We are also able to get a small recliner in for her. Taking a 94 yr old camping is a chalenge made much easier with this trailer.
We purchased a travel trailer at Camping World recently and had the pleasure of working with Curtis Gama. He was great! He was knowledgeable about every trailer we looked at. There was no pressure, he was just very nice, helpful and professional. He followed up with information we needed and was prompt. It was a very pleasant experience. If youre buying anything at this Camping World, definitely ask for Curtis!
My husband and I just recently bought our first camper. As with any used camper, there were a few things not working on it. The day before we were set to go camping, we noticed the power had stopped turning on. We went to camping world and being memorial day weekend, they were fully booked and unable to inspect the trailer. We were greeted by Brent. After telling him my dilemma, he said he would squeeze us in for a mini inspection! We were able to bring the camper over and in a matter of minutes he diagnosed what was wrong and told us what we needed to fix to be on our way! Thanks to Brents amazing customer service, We were still able to go camping and our weekend was saved!
I originally posted a 5 star review but it needed to be updated. It seems appropriately matched to other people’s experiences of a good sales experience but horrible customer service after that. I know this is long but if you stick with me I’ll walk you through my experience and hopefully help you avoid the same pitfalls:After months of research, my SO and I settled on a floorplan that we both loved – this is harder than one would think. There were only two models in 400 miles of our home. One was in Arizona and the other at Camping World in Redding. Camping World’s price was higher (even higher than having the Arizona unit shipped here) but I wanted to drive it before buying so we decided to take the 3.5-hour journey to Redding. We worked with Cliff and I explained to him the pricing issue but that it was negligible enough that if I liked the experience, I could purchase from Camping World. He said several times they were family oriented and just wanted to take care of us. I could have gone to CW and drove it and then had the AZ unit shipped closer and bought it for the cheaper price but that felt unethical. When I told Cliff that I had already been approved by a bank for 4.99% he seemed surprised at the rate but said whatever I’m comfortable with, that’s fine. So we drive it, like it, and decide to buy it. They explain they can get us 4.49% - I didn’t want a lot of hits to my credit but decided it was worth it to get the lower rate. This was my mistake.Fast forward to a little less than a week later when I call Cliff and confirm that we are good to go at the 4.49% - he assures me we are. In fact, his exact words were “yep, it got approved right before I left for my day off.” I think it’s great and setup a day and time to come pick up the RV (again, a 3.5-hour journey one way). I take the day off of work and we leave in the morning for our 1pm appointment. Now, I assume the first part of that appointment would be the finance portion – you know make sure we’re all good before the new owner orientation. Apparently, that is not what CW does. They do the approximately 1-hour orientation first. Danny walked us through everything and honestly that’s why this is a two-star review. He was great!Finally, we sit down with finance and the first words were “Okay, so we matched the rate you got on your own from the bank – 4.99%.” I tell her that the deal was 4.49% and that we were told it was already approved. She was quite knowledgeable and explained that while I qualified in every other way, the bank required a certain number of trade lines I didn’t meet. Now, I’m not an unreasonable person, I know things happen outside of others’ control, but the control they did have was to call me and tell me. Or not to tell me it was approved in the first place. They should have called in the morning before I drove for 3.5-hours. They should have told me when I walked in the door. They should have taken any moment except for that one to tell me. It wasn’t even “we know we thought we’d get 4.49% but…” So we decide to back out – really out of principle. My favorite part was when they said they could go as low as 4.74%. Wow, this means not only could they not get the rate they told me they got, they added points to the lowest rate I did get approved for. Completely shady… We left. Honestly, I would have taken the 4.74% had they said that in the first place. They wanted us to talk to another manager but they wasted enough of our time. Between gas for the trip, time off work, and the insurance that started at 12:01am that day since I thought I was driving it home, they actually cost us money. Be warned and don’t let them add points to your rate, or tell you they’ll get you something better.I’m sure someone will post the normal customer service response stating they’re sorry that our experience didn’t meet their standards. Let me reply to that right now: everyone makes mistakes, how a company handles that mistake is what sets them apart and you already had that opportunity.
At first I was hesitant to purchase a RV but after some research and talking with one of the salesmen Jusiah, I was able to find one that was perfect for family size and matched my price range. Jusiah in particular was super helpful in our hunt and recommend that you ask for him. He went above and beyond for me and really knew his stuff.
We found it a pleasure working wit Brian Royce, he was right there explaining everything to us. The costs the amount of time ect. He always answered our calls or returned ASAP after we left a message. He deserves 5 star rating in our opinion, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Very knowledgeable, if he didn’t have an answer he went and got one. As with the rest of the service staff they were also great to work with and especially Monica. I loved my experience! I was provided with very knowledgeable service via email and over the phone and once I came in to view the fifth wheel i had been looking at I felt very welcome and was provided with excellent service from my sales rep. They have a great team over there and I would highly recommend Camping World to anyone in the market for a fifth wheel or RV.

Can’t say enough good about the crew over at CW. I came in with an electrical issue that their technician James was able to resolve on the spot. Manager Shawn was more than helpful and got us on our way and back on the road. Thanks guys. I know it’s hard to find good service in the RV industry, these guys are different. The repair to our trailer took 5 months. I’m told because of manufacturer delays. Very little contact from service rep during the entire course, even had to show up a couple times to inquire the status. I feel there needs to be better communication by Camping World when a repair takes so long. When we finally received our trailer back, found that none of the water supply lines were hooked back up in the bathroom after the repair, very glad I found that before putting water to the trailer and pray that the shower was hooked up when it was reinstalled. It was also returned with a broken key, which I had warned when dropped off that it was our only key. Our power cord was also lost while they had possession of our trailer. As far as corrections to these problems I was told they could order a new key but not guarantee that the broken part of the key wasn’t still in the lock since the service rep Josh was never advised when this occurred. The power cord they replaced with a new one. I would not recommend to family or friends to take your RV there.
Camping World of Redding did a fantastic job on the wreck damage to my 5th wheel . From the initial meeting with Joshua Pearson I knew that the job would be done correctly. Joshua was very knowledgeable of the repair process and what to expect. The Service Department also checked out a couple of other items without charging me. Overall very pleased when picked up after the repairs.
Customer service was not very helpful. Once when I called for an update on repairs, I was transferred to a gentleman who informed me that he didn’t have my RV and he has no idea what I am asking about. Later on he clarified that someone else had my account. After spending over 7000 dollars on repairs I expected the RV to be clean at least to the same level I dropped it off. There were foot prints on the roof and wood shavings in the bathroom area and on the carpet...
Brian Royce, Service Adviser, is extremely knowledgeable about our product - Travel Trailer Keystone Bullet 220; we had a warranty situation that was handled in a professional and timely manner. He is honest, straight forward and a good business person; I like that.Thanks for your help Brian; we will continue to have our travel trailer needs taken care of at Camping World of Redding.Additionally, all of the service and store personnel were very helpful and courteous.
After searching for 2 years for the perfect travel trailer for me I finally found the perfect one at Camping World that I was soooo excited for! I had been in touch with a sales rep as I live out of the area but when I was ready to purchase all I got back was crickets. Still haven’t heard back from him so I started looking else where and found almost the identical trailer and for $10k less at a place that is actually appreciative of their customers.
Brian Royce was amazing! He helped us solve our problem and prevented us from having to unhook the Jeep we were towing behind our RV and having to go to another place because our tow bar was having issues. We arrived at this camping world at 3 o’clock on a Friday. Brian Royce at the service counter greeted us immediately. I told him that I had put one of our slides in with rugs on the floor and they got stuck under Neath halfway. James machete from the service department was there and offered to take a look. He stepped right up and between him and I he was able to get the rugs free from under the slide. James was very friendly and worked very hard to remedy the problem. He was actually done for the day but offered his expertise enthusiastically. Tremendous kudos to both Brian and James. In fact the entire staff was friendly and very helpful. I could not be more pleased with the performance of your staff member Brent Lawrence in your Redding store. He went above an beyond to help an 83 year old lady traveling with her pet dog in her RV. The Brake Buddy in her tow had been installed wrong in Palm Desert, CA creating a drain on the car battery.Bingo...Brent knew exactly what the problem was and within an hour he had the correct wiring system installed. Fantastic service and knowledge! Thank you Brent.
The great service managers and technicians at the Redding Camping World have made several additions and upgrades to our 2017 R-Pod... a new pop-out awning, electric tongue jack, new big boy toilet, new reading lights, a major brake overhaul and work to the electrical system. They are professional, courteous and friendly. The quality of their work is exceptional. I would recommend them highly... If I could give them 6 stars I would!
My wife and I purchased a new Montana High Country 294rl in July. Our sales transaction was not a good one. After our first trip we had expected warranty issues as this was a brand new unit. Brent Lawrence the service writer went above and beyond. He was our advocate with the manufacture who denied work that should be covered. After consulting with his manager Camping World stepped up and covered the item in question. Thank you Brent, you turned a not so good situation into a positive one.

He was so knowledgeable, kind and did not place any pressure at us while we were making our decision. We had thought we knew the exact RV we would be buying after looking online but ended up picking something Eric found that was so perfect for us. 2021-11-22Good selection of RV and camping supplies. Sales and service too. Was busy for a Sunday. Seemed short staffed, didnt get anyone to help us. We left empty handed. The lot of RVs looked full. Good selection of trailers. I would guess the place gets pretty busy in the summer time. It looked as if the service desk was very busy even for November.

2022-01-15A great place to purchase a trailer or recreational vehicle. Tons of inventory, they spent lots of time and answered a lot of questions. I felt really valued and they listened. Only place Ive been to where I didnt feel like I was talking to a Sales Person. Shane is amazing and makes a great experience, wont ever buy anywhere else! I also love that they have a huge service department when we want to take the trailer in for work... parking lot is massive and makes pulling in and out so easy. They also let us hookup for power when staying overnight!

2022-06-24I came in a little while back with my brother who was in the market for a new trailer. He travels a lot so it made the most sense to purchase a home on wheels. We ended up working with Sean Green who made the whole process easy. There are so many options but Sean was able to narrow the search down to meet his specified needs. He was professional, not pushy like lost salesmen, knowledgeable of the trailers he showed us. My brother wasnt able to make a decision that day but Sean continues to check in and see if there is anything he can do to help the process which is nice. 2022-06-04I had warranty work I needed done on my Keystone trailer just as I was reaching the end of the warranty period. When making my appointment I got good advice to contact Keystone and put notes under my trailers Vin number since my appointment was two days before the end of my warranty. I got it dropped off and you could tell their service lot was busy. Brian did a great job communicating with me whole they negotiated with Keystone for the repairs. In the end the work got done a little ahead of when originally promised and it looks good. Thank you Camping World of Redding.

2021-12-14We had a fabulous experience with Camping World Redding. We had found a unit online and within minutes of submitting an inquiry we had a sales rep call us. The following day our rep, Keri, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable while making this big decision. After choosing to purchase, we waited to pick up the unit while Camping World insisted on detailing it and making it perfect for our family. During the week I had great communication with them; Keri would personally measure things in the unit and answer any question she could for us. We truly appreciated Keri!!!
