I don’t recommend anyone to come to this place staff are unprofessional don’t know what they are doing giving out faulty test on pre screening in occasionally they will mix up blood samples and get you deferral not worth the stress tbh go somewhere

Usually I’ve had a nice experience here some of the workers are really nice and helpful except today one of the workers gave me attitude for no reason when I was confused on a simple task. She also seemed like she could care less of what she was doing .I don’t think I’ll come back to this location rather not deal with people who get like that near me with a needle.

The staff is friendly. Some staff member forget they touch other objects or there mouths then touch you.1) star minus is for the prepaid card cash would be better. You really dont the full amount because you get charged per transaction. Nor can you withdraw the full amount from the bank.2) it says you can go 2 times in 7 days which is false. You can go twice a week. So if you go on a Monday skip a day and go on Wednesday. So now Mondays and Wednesdays are your set days.

I came in to donate plasma. As I was getting my physical exam the nurse was taking the palm of her hand and shoving it into my ribs and stomach. I have gotten lots of physical exams in the past, never before have I been touched so aggressively. If someone is shoving the palm of their hand with full force into my gut, what other reaction could I have? She then told me I cant donate because her exam of my stomach was not satisfactory enough. What a waste of a day.

Good place seems clean. Must wear mask upon entry and scan the Q code at the front desk fill out paperwork on the phone and just wait to be called. They have the slimy kind of sanitizer at the entry beware.

Ive been coming here for a couple weeks now and I have enjoyed every experience. I dont like needles but these guys know what theyre doing and make it as painless as possible. I think Denise is one of the best employees! So friendly all the time.
I’ve been going this place for several months now. The staff if amazing. They are all very friendly. Specially the ones in the back. Benito, Lori, Alyssa, Laura, Stephan and Lexsi, this crew always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and everything goes smooth. They always greet me and everyone else with a smile.

Hi everyone. I love this place and what they do here. Everyone is nice and the place is clean. I live in Mexico and I take the trolley and it’s a 10 minute ride from the border. This place has the best customer service in San Diego. The people who say they have bad customer service because they were denied to donate so they want to complain. Yes some days this place is packed but don’t go in the evening go in morning it is the best time. I go in around 6am and I’m out by 7am and I have my whole day to myself. They even changed their hours to 5am. Next time stop complaining and be patient while you are donating. If you are their truly saving lives you will be patient and not complain about the wait. This place is the best keep it up Biomat Chula Vista!

I love this place! They have this program that you can refer people to donate. It’s called buddy bonus program. I don’t like needles but I want to help people that need plasma. I referred 10 people to donate and I received $500 just by referring 10 people to donate plasma. If I were you I would refer people to this place and collect the buddy bonus. It’s free money just by sending people their way. It only took me 1 week to send 10 people their way and I got payed $500 after they all donated. I’m going to keep referring people my goal is to refer 30 people in a month so I get get $1500 and their is no limit on how many people you can refer. I love this place free money just by referring people. Also I must say I been to other locations and the other locations are dirty this place is clean and nice.

Its a good place to donate but the only thing sometimes I dont feel like going is because you spend 1 to 1:1/2 hours in here. Most of the time some workers take there time to come and check if you are done donating they are chatting, is like some of them dont like what they do. Some workers do great and they are super nice and actually work. But I dont appreciate them doing this, they should be more Profesional and i think Supervisor should look closer to this many persons will be thankful for that. Helping others and getting paid is great. Make sure you take a sweater the place where you actually donate is very cold.

I like this place after your first visit its pretty fast. The staff is friendly had a lil issue today with one of the girls who had an attitude for no reason other than I asked for a different color wrap( didnt want Bright pink) and she got mad but other than that place is great no complaints. If anything need to be changed it would be keep wrap simple and nuetral lol and find away to keep folders in order when going to the back so u can be called in the order received...

CAUTION: They are artificially inflating their review scores by running raffles for gift cards for those that write reviews for them on Facebook and Google. It was around 2.5 or 3 stars before they were doing this.Ashley (Supervisor) needs to be coached appropriately regarding her behavior towards both her fellow employees and other donors.Ive seen rabid dogs get treated better than how some co-workers (and even donors) were absolutely demoralized and humiliated in front of several others on at least 3 occasions. I could only imagine what happens on a daily basis when Im not there.
Complete waste of time and gas... called for information before going in for the first time time and the lady said just show up with your ID. I show up the next day around 1pm and the person behind the desk said that its already too late, but that I can come in tomorrow any time as long as it is before 12. So I show up the next day at 10:30am and Im told the exact same thing and to try again the next day before 9am. I stopped going to octapharma because its far, but at least their customer service was always good. Im not going back, and I definitely discourage people to go there...

Half of the people are super nice. One philipino woman is so happy and wonderful. A few girls are super nice. Told me to apply but there are some individuals who make donors feel unwanted and ai believe that is not letting me get hired. I had an issue with one who we talked I brought lunch for but when she stuck me wrong once. I made a joke saying love hurts and then my next visit I was in an interview room. So I kept it professional and didnt talk to her anymore. She was still friendly until she noticed I wasnt so talkitive. This was over 6 months ago. And two weeks ago this woman was givin my file to check my HB and BT and she said infront of me as I was sitting in the second row. Trade me files, I dont like him.This place is EOE and I know this location has unprofessional people here who shouldnt work with the public. Same with my interview. They said well just interview him and kick him out. For a week I been calling and no one wants to help. The women that are nice there say the hiring process is really fast and I been waiting 2 weeks with a perfect resume and cover letter. Why am I getting picked on?
JUSTIN is just not a good worker maybe just whenever i go. He is always talking with girls just walking around is really sad how you come here to donate and it seems like they dont appreciate and i mean the worker not the rest of the personal. The other ladies are nice. But i dont appreciate how JUSTIN is always just wasting our time is not only me whenever we go out with my friends that also donate in this location they agree.
I donated at many locations and I have to say this is the best place to donate. The center is new and very clean unlike other locations. I like to donate plasma because it helps people who really need plasma. If you want to do a feel good thing donate at this location because the employees here truly care about you.
Wow where do I start. .I been coming here since day 2 that they open. I have seen alot of this staff get train and grow to the profesional staff that they are. No not every experience has been pleasant but that is to be expected after so many people donate here. I want to thank so many of the staff members, but I dont want to leave no one out. So from Kevin all the way down to the new recruits thank you for putting up with me. Yes I will recommend grifoooolllss.
This is a good place to have the donation done. However be careful because the facility is near a well far office and a trolley station so beware of homeless and characters of bad intentions. But dont let me scare you. Also staff is very nice, and any bad reviews you read are most likely form angry people who could not donate.

Hello, Im a long time customer and I dont know how this facility got 4.3 stars. They are very unprofessional. Very rude. Some people there are nice so thats why I gave them two stars. But I wouldnt do go baci here again.
Today I attempted to donate and just because I was standing peacefully, unarmed, and BLACK I made all the employees nervous. I was told to sit down because Im making everyone uncomfortable. Never going back. Theyre racist at this location and if you are any other ethnicity youre ok to stand but if your skin is BLACK you will make the employees feel some type of way.. Racism is alive and forever!

Love adi, and octo, they have such a good vibe they make the experiance so easy and relaxing..they walk around the floor with an ease that makes you feel like your at home...they literally call people by their names.smile sincere smiles...they also have a way of multitasking that makes it look easy and fun to work underpresure when grifols has a full house! Overall its a good place though some women workers who know who they are clearly do not care about being there or being careful. I have wasted $15 of bus money because of 1 worker repeatedly telling me untrue and very unclear information about my ability to donate then examining my arm and telling me I cannot donate under her specifities
This place hires bad attitude half done employees. The managers take care of the workers more then the Patients. Im going back to Octapharma they pay more and treat you better. Last time the worker was rude and kept walking away from me as I was waiting to be taped up.
Biomat USA is a great plasma donation center, the staff are wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and the site is impeccable. Great location near walmart, Target and more. Stephanie always helps me 😀 super friendly and knows her SOPs

Two areas to sit one is for new donors and the otherside for returns. Everytime I have been here I have never seen anyone regulate on where to sit. Today is mostly empty and the workers have nothing better today then to rearange donors seatings. New donors sit on this side. Returns on that side? Since when as in why now??? Completely made me feel uncomfortable while I wait to donate to someone who needs it. I wish I could take a pic but Id get kicked out. They dont want any pictures or video or audio recordings because they arent always professional. But there are a few who are amazing and make people feel welcome to come but only 10 out of the 40 that work here give or take.
Idk about you guys but Ive been to two different donating centers and I can tell you this much, this is the one that has the nicest ppl. They are very kind and funny. Ive had no problems with any of them, none have been rude or sassy with me xD so I think it deserves the 5 start rating
Okay so I went in as a new donor. I’ve just heard of the place, I didnt know which documents were necessary for me to get signed up. I came in at 7 am and the lady that signed me up for an appointment just told me to write my name on a list and to be there at 10 am. Didn’t tell me if i needed to bring any documents. I come back at 10 am and i get called. They then asked me if I brought the necessary documents with me. I was never told I had to bring my social security card and my goverment ID. I have the ID in my wallet but not my social. I have the number on my phone’s notes. I told them that I could just give it to them and they said that I needed the card otherwise I had to go. They made me waste my whole morning since I don’t have a car I had to stay at the nearby target two hours waiting for the clock to hit 10 am. How unprofessional of them. Avoid.

Overall Grifols has a very professional and friendly team. The facility is also very clean. While I enjoy everyone at Grifols, my favorite team member is Mr. Octavio. He is very efficient and pleasant making each visit to Grifols a smooth process. I will and plan to recommend as many friends as possible! If youre reading this now and are still on the fence regarding making your decision on a visit to Grifols, trust me itll be a lot easier than you realize! Everything was great until actual donation. This is the training location they dont know what theyre doing in back. I am a justified hard stick, but if youre any good at what you do you can draw my blood no problem. The girl stuck me then pressed on the needle tip causing a hematoma on purpose. I know this because the 1st time she pressed and asked if it hurt and I said no, then she pressed harder thats when I got the hematoma. Then told me to come back next day so I dont have to do new donor physical allover again. I wait 2 days come back, they said no it doesnt matter Id still have to do everything all over again. This place is a joke.
I was in and out within an hour and half. I usually never have to wait longer than at this location. Staff works and is clean. One of the workers, Alondra was very attentive and was a great help.
I donate at Biomat USA Chula Vista center and hands down this is the best center in San Diego. I don’t know why some people are complaining but they have great customer service, they care about people, they have the cleanest location, and they pay the most out of all the plasma centers.
I was forced to change my review, Today I was informed all donors are assigned a new number by Biomat, I was told by a manager dressed in pajamas, that if I was not interested in memorizing the number, she would prefer I no longer donate at the facility.
This place robs you of life and money there’s no way a bottle of plasma is worth 30 to 100 dollars . Then the workers mess up all the time it’s ridiculous after a while I stopped going after doin research on how bad we were being robbed
This place is a joke. U go in for an appointment even people who walk in after u are seen before u, u get all they way to the physical exam pass everything then u take a test that makes no sense at all. None. The questions arent about u and one question is not clear especially going to jail ur not always subdued to another male on male contact or whatever . The Arabic lady reads way to fast to understand anything. Who really would? Be honest. Plus she does have an attitude. My 1St time and my last time. U get turned away if u get 70% or lower on the test. Last I checked that was passing. So u spend almost 3 HRS to pass everything except a test that makes no sense and is informally written. Waste ur time.

Been to 20+ plasma centers and never have I been told that it i have to wait 7 hours in line to donate. And I was on the 2nd list if I was in the 3rd could take 11hours. A 7 hour wait means the workers are slow and lazy. Do not go to this plasma center.

This place has been the worst anything I’ve ever been in I walked in as a return donor from griffols on El Cajon blvd I’ve been a donor for a year now and not three min after I grabbed a ride to drive all the way back to El Cajon blvd for there amazing service smiles from the time you walk in till you leave. You people who work in the Chula Vista location should take notes an learn how to treat people with respect and provide service to those who help pay for your lazy selves to work and last and final thing have confidence to stick a 16g needle through a half inch opening it’s not that hard I was in the military and i not a nurse or anything in the medical field could stick a patient in the forehead if need be to put in an IV and if you can’t quit and stop wasting people’s precious and valuable time!

Incredible service, dedication and professionalism of each and every one of the associates on the floor, however I want to highlight Almas work since not only on one occasion but on all the occasions that I have been attended by her, she has exceeded my expectations of service.
I like to donate to Grifols because they always take good care of me, especially Leonardo and Cintya.They are the only ones I feel safe with and they are always aware of their patients and focused on what they are doing.
Dina Excellent work in the same way your colleagues do a good job keep it up, 100% recommended to new donors.
The workers are very good and professional in their work, performance and attention, especially Chris and Dina.

Excellent service and treatment of donors, they always receive you in a very pleasant way.The only bad thing is that the music is usually a little loud and when they call you, you cant hear well.From there everything is perfect, everything is very clean and they give you a lot of confidence.

The staff is very good and friendly but especially Rosalinda and Dina always treat me with kindness, they are efficient and very good at their job.
It is a place committed to its work, 95% of the people who work in this place are friendly and do their work professionally. My profile was directed especially to Laura and César, who committed themselves for an hour and a half to ensure that my donation was completed successfully. Not giving up the procedure and making sure at all times that I was comfortable. When the simplest thing for them would have been to have told me it couldnt be done, come back another day. It is a gesture that meant a lot
Very good service in general, Kenia, the girl who attended me is very nice, as is Sebastián, both very attentive, only if I get discouraged when they took away the transportation voucher, but other than that, all good.
The staff is very good, nice and one thing I like is that they are fast, but I would like you to be able to choose who connects you as in another center, and Perla and Benito are the best 😊

2022-02-23My son takes a weekly infusion of medicine made from plasma. Because of that and how grateful I am for the people who donate I come twice a week myself. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. It is honestly my relaxing time of the week. I sit and listen to a podcast while donating and no kids are asking me for anything. The money is great too and allows me to contribute financially to our family being a stay at home mom.

2022-04-07First of all Great Place ! Great environment and everyone is helpful and has great personality. The benefits (payment) is good and fast, and most of the time they do have great promotions. Regarding the procedure of removing the Plasma of your body, I have never been injured and the pinch(stick) 90% of the time I dont feel it, I have been a member for 2 years and I have continue to come not only for the payment (and to help patients) but also because of the great service provided by everyone. I want to give shoutout to team member DINA, not only shes Gorgeous, shes the best the person for your Vein, she has the best hand and I NEVER feel the needle in my Vein. Great Place to help and get some extra cash!

2022-03-09I have been a frequent donor, and I enjoy donating at the Palomar location. I love when Alma and Taima help me because they are so attentive in what they do. One thing that I would like its to get more compensations for my donations. It would really be great especially in this economy.
