Love staying here. Rooms are clean and vegan restaurant right across the street yum! They serve breakfast and the lady serving is really nice. Cindy the receptionist is friendly.

Great motel with excellent staff. We have been visiting it for the last couple of weeks because it’s near Chapman University. They offer discounts for students and we love the complimentary breakfast with Waffles. The rooms are spacious and clean.
There was excessive noise coming from outside - yelling, shouting, music blaring, hotel room doors slamming. It wasnt intermittent - it was nonstop for hours. Some of the other hotel guests were clearly intoxicated and belligerent. I know the front desk agent could hear the ruckus because our room was right next to the lobby. The noise went on until after 3am but nothing was done. I dont expect the front desk agent to put their safety at risk with such clearly unstable guests, but the police should have been called to escort them from the property. I have worked overnight front desk at a hotel before, and my response to the situation would absolutely not have been to have no response. People were shouting at each other, being verbally violent, and no action was taken by hotel staff. I paid way too much money for that to be the service I received. I expect more from Best Western.Aside from that, the toilet in the bathroom wasnt securely fastened to the floor. The room was okay otherwise.

Off of Memory Lane (by Bristol) & City Drive (by the Block at Orange), BWOP is a surprising breath of fresh air, not to mention beauty and comfort, amongst the rest of the areas disgusting sea of hotel room failures!TBH my boyfriends favorite perk was doubtless the amazing full breakfast (complete with all youd imagine including individually made waffles and scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, coffee/hot cocoa, oatmeal/dry cereal, etc etc etc...Trust me, if you afford the cost you will definitely never regret your stay at this poshly comfortable gem of a hotel in the depths of Santa anas slum culture!
The staff was absolutely great and helped accommodate us when needed. The room was nice and extremely clean. Breakfast was served for you so not everyone touched everything.

The facility is very well maintained and the housekeepers are the best, in my opinion. I would certainly recommend spending a few nights here. I have no doubt you will enjoy your stay.
The location and room was very nice and had good service. They also had good breakfast in the morning with many options. Our hotel room was very clean with comfortable beds. Everything was well stocked and worked properly. Overall there was no problems. We enjoyed our stay .
We were pleasantly surprised! We were evacuated due to fire at our home. We started looking for a room for 3 adults at 9:00 p.m... Most were sold out due to Silverado Fire and Blue Ridge Fire. They found us a room with 2 beds which was perfect. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The best surprise was a very decent breakfast with a great variety and delicious food. Thank you Best Western. They really went above and beyond our expectations.
This place suited our needs.... nothing fancy but pretty recently remodeled. Clean, spacious, pretty quiet considering it was on main street. Kind helpful lady serving the breakfast, which included some hot foods. My only complaint, the mattress was not too comfortable for me, but that can be an individual thing.
The rooms are very clean and beautiful, the location is very good, the only bad thing is the high price. My wife made a mistake on the dates and we had to pay almost double for the same room.
I would give 5 stars but they allow the guests to smoke on the property(outside).Before I booked the room I spoke with the front desk representative. She was nice and informative.I booked my room and PRAYED that everything she told me was true.When I got there, it wasnt impressive from the outside (like she said) but the inside was fully upgraded (just like she told me!). Room 203.The only thing that needed cleaning was the refrigerator.They serve hot breakfast every morning. Parking and Wi-Fi are free.Its close to shops, restaurants and a convenience store.I would return.
My first time staying at the Best Western Orange Plaza was a good experience. I stayed there for two nights with my family and it was very comfortable. The front desk staff was amazing: friendly, caring and enthusiastic about us being there. Rooms were very clean and the price was reasonable. I also ran into some car issues and told the front desk I needed more time to check out since I didnt know how long it was going to take for me to get my car back from the dealer. The front desk staff, right away offered me as much time I needed. That was amazing!! that gesture won my heart. The only thing that I would say is that for breakfast, they dont offer many options but the dinning is super clean and the staff there is also very friendly. I would stay there again and again and again.

Very clean, quiet hotel. Have stayed here a number of times. The rooms and property are a little outdated but still very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Great breakfast included which has meats and eggs, waffles and breads and pastries. Juice and coffee. TV and wifi and a nice pool. Very great place to stay, near 58 freeway, Disney, Chapman college, The City and Anaheim Stadium. Prices reasonable.
Property is older but very well maintained. Beds are comfortable and rooms very clean. The bedding in my room was an upgraded quality. Front office staff very helpful and courteous. Overall a very pleasant stay at a reasonable price for the area and would recommend.
The room was newly renovated, very clean and check in was quick and pleasant. It was everything as promised. The complimentary hot breakfast was great, even coffee ☕️ tasted better than I expected. I’m not sensitive to sound. There was no noise issue for me at all.I did have one issue. It started to rain that day early in the morning, my room is on the second floor of a two story building. I realize the bathroom was flooded when tried to take a shower. The ceiling fan was leaking. I asked at checkout if I should get a partial refund since I didnt get to used the shower at all. The gentleman at the front desk said it wouldn’t be possible since I made my payment to a third party online (I think it was Expedia). He offered to clean the bathroom and flexible checkout time, so I can take a shower. I declined since I had something scheduled. I didn’t want to make a big deal since my stay was great except the leak (I imagine the costs for fixing the roof must be large). So I took his second offer, a soda and some chips instead.I would rate it a 4.5 but feel like we should all give each other a break. Small details like the neatly folded tissues and towels and the spotless breakfast layout...everyone at that hotel works hard and sincerely wanting to make your stay happy. I try to put myself in others shoes whenever I could. So I give it a five star. Overall , it is honestly in my opinion the best among competitors.
The place has potential and I think some of the issues I experienced was because it is being renovated. My room had been renovated but there were a fee issues. 1 inch gap under the door. I had to put a rolled up towel down to keep potential critters out. The room was a handicap room and had a walk in/roll in shower. I had trouble getting the shower head to work. It kept defaulting to the handheld. The shower floor is not constructed so that the water goes down the drain so it literally floods the entire bathroom. There was 1/2 inch of water on the floor what I was done showing. I had to use every single towel to stop it up so I could use the vanity to do my hair and makeup. Other then that, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Located in the middle of the City of Orange, the location makes it an easy commute to Disneyland, the beaches and other places around LA.People were super nice and the breakfast was a step beyond the usual cold continental type of food.The rooms are currently being remodeled and we got to stay in room that was recently completed so it was really nice and clean.The only inconvenience is there is limited parking due to the remodel but I would expect that to be a temporary issue.I would highly recommend and we plan to stay again when we return to LA to visit.
Extremely well maintained and clean Best Western. Found no fault at all with this facility. A minor thing would have liked to have seen in the room was an easy access receptacle near the bed to plug my phone into but thats no big issue. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Check-in was great. Giant flat screen TV too!
We were greeted by a friendly professional behind the desk. After a day of sight seeing, we returned to a clean, quiet room. In the morning we enjoyed the amenities of the hotel provided breakfast. Although there was renovation happening, there was a little noise in the lunch area, but was kept to a minimum, as well as dust or clutter. The surrounding area seemed to be quiet and safe as well.
Hotel room was really nice and clean. Bed comfortable. Had a corner room over the office which was nice for it being quiet. Breakfast was great. Only disappointment was advertised as being .02 from Honda Center. More like over 2 miles and thankfully we had a rental car or it would have been outrageously expensive to get Uber or cab for running around.
Great value still close to vacation spots. Suites with additional beds are an especially good value. They were redoing the lobby while we were there and still very accommodating. Breakfast room is a little small but adequate. All in all good beds and a good value.
The customer service was excellent it couldnt have gone any better thanks to sandy I really appreciate how she makes you feel so welcome and so respectfull. The rooms are literally brand new everything beutifull countertops showered light fixtures new waterproof floors which look nice. I remodel homes for a living so I know. They look better then any hotel I been in .
I recently became a frequent guest. This hotel looks a bit old, but I love the size of the room, the amenities, the cleanliness, and the fact it came with free WiFi and breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Close from shopping centers and restaurants. Would suggest to have recycle bin in the guest rooms, dinning area and lobby.
Every employee is kind and professional and that tells me that they are treated well by management. I like being treated well, thank you management. A bit more expensive than others in this class, but the breakfast more than makes up for that cost. Bacon, sausage, biscuits n gravy, a slew of deliciousness for 3 hours, and even a breakfast attendant! Thanks breakfast attendant; I will remember to wear shoes from now on. 😉 what Im trying to say is that I will definitely return.
So this place is a real gem! Rooms are amazingly nice, theyre nice for a hotel charging twice the price and absolutely incredible and unbeatable in this price range. Bed was super cozy and comfortable with a lot of pillows! Front desk was extremely curteous and helpful in every imaginable way. No riff raff hanging around the parking lots. Felt safe and secure everywhere the entire time. I couldnt be happier with the experience. Would definitely recommend for families!

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times while visiting our sons at Chapman University. We appreciate its proximity to downtown Orange, its value and the helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfy, too. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed their brand new breakfast room with more food options, as well as the ability to make your own delicious waffles! It was also a quick 15 minute car ride to Disneyland. We will be back!

Hotel was older but seems to have remodel work done. Room had a strange odor masked by a copious amount of freshener. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were tiny and provided no comfort. Staff was excellent and the hot breakfast wasnt bad.
Hotel was a great place to stay. Only down side is the parking is very minimal. Owner was very nice and cheerful, she always made you feel welcomed. Breakfast was good it was nice to see the owner helping the staff keep everything stocked and cleaned. Definitely will be returning when visiting the OC.
This is a basic but nicer BW for its level. The folks are very accommodating. The facility is a reasonably quiet place, has a nice pool area, close to restaurants, and the staff aims to please. The rooms are clean and maintained. The parking seems ample for a full house.There is an excellent Mexican restaurant within a 3-5 minute walking distance.I would not and will not hesitate staying here again.
I like this hotel very much.Its location is excellent.Rooms are very pleasant:clean and comfortable The personell are kind and friendly, breakfast is quite good.I dislike the new soap,lotion and shampoo dispensers dispensers.They are very difficult to use.Many hotels have dispensers but they are not as hard to manage I could barely get a drop of soap or lotion.Truly bad!!!! These dispensers are the worst I have ever handled.Poor choice All other amenities are very good
Great price right near Chapman University. Clean and professional looking. Nice pool. The breakfast could be skipped. Obviously made somewhere else...and oatmeal from a dispenser. Otherwise had a good stay with no issues.
This hotel, although only 3 miles from Disneyland doesnt offer any shuttle service. I was surprised by this. Also the hotel appears very old and tired, definitely needs a remodel. The pool was cold, the pool deck area was dirty and the parking lot was poorly lit on the outside. The breakfast was the classic breakfast options for 1980s and should be revamped to fit the needs of traveling families. With all these negatives being said, I expected more from Best Western as this is the only hotel chain I stay at. I hope they consider my comments and take them into suggestion when they overview this property.
When we got into our room we found an old pair of socks and candy wrappers behind the bed. The pillows were 12 squares that bothered the others in the room, not so much me. The key cards didnt work. We had them rekeyed every time we left the room which was frustrating coming back each night with tired children. There was a 1/2 gap in the doorway letting in the cold air and the rain. There wasnt enough light in the rooms and no heat in the second room just a standing fan with no heat. The breakfast was pretty good, there was a variety of choices. We have never been dissatisfied with Best Western but this one was not the best experience.
Orange is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Youre paying for location, not a top of the line room. No complaints though. Everything works and its relatively quiet considering the proximity to Chapman Ave! Youre only 5 minutes from the circle! Worth it!
Our family with 2 children under 5 enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel in Laguna Beach and are already planning on visiting again as soon as possible. The staff was welcoming and responsive and the accommodations were perfect. Our room had the most gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. Our children loved the heated childrens pool, the resident bunnies
Let me start off with what I liked:The breakfast was very nice, I liked that they have a waffle machine and have warm food as well as prepackaged danishes and yogurt. I also really liked the location, pretty close to the freeway to get you around, but not so close that it is noisy. It was maybe a 5 minute drive to Disneyland. There is also a Ralph’s just down the street and a mall very close by. Staff is very nice and friendly! Bathrooms look beautiful.What I didn’t like:The room had an odd smell that they tried to cover up with heavy cleaner. I had to leave the window and the door open for a while but the smell never went away. The tub and the sink had trouble draining, which was so annoying. The A/C unit in the room was very weak. The room ended up getting extremely hot in the middle of the night and I decided to just open the windows. The pool is not heated, and was extremely cold. Almost like ice water... I jumped in anyway because I’m insane and came out with a bunch of tiny bug bites, I did not see any bugs in the pool.I don’t think I’d stay here again but the price was not bad for what they offer. The location is basically what you’re paying for. Very close to quite a few things. Just stay out of the pool :)
Weve stayed 3 times at this Best Western: it is excellent for the 100 to 110 dollar/night average price. The breakfast selection is good. Newly redecorated, very pleasant.
For the money great place to stay. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast is basic. We stay here when we do Disneyland so not in room much.
Decent rooms, had a room with 2 queen beds and 1 full size bed. Great for 5 people. Only issue that there was no a/c in the 2nd room with the full sized bed. Overall, the receptionist and housekeeping service was very nice!
Finally a hotel not owned by Iranians, not that there is anything wrong with that, but this placed is well run, crazy good breakfast, good management. Very clean, and the have mattress condoms, great on been anti bed bugs, nice

This hotel is the best around Orange. Its right down the street feom the historic circle so theres tons of fun restaurants and shopping. The rooms are updated and extremely clean and comfortable. Great bathrooms and showers! The front desk and employees were extremely helpful and curteous. I couldnt have been more pleased with my weekend here!
The staff member at the front desk at check-in & out (same guy) went above & beyond to meet my mobility needs, so accommodating & polite. He even provided a shower chair for me without being asked.

The room was nice and clean. I was woken up tough at almost 9 pm sling me if I was going to check into the room (when we had it since 12 noon) and in the morning when I got breakfast I learned my room cards where deactivated.
I got a cool room 3 beds. A separate bedroom with a door. Free breakfast is the best. shampoo conditionair and body wash available in the shower and soap and lotion pump at the sink!!
Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Attentive manager. Kids friendly. Always clean and up to date equipment. Convenient spot for shopping, beach, and 15 minutes away from nearby theme park. :) Not disappointed at all.
The staff was pleasant but when I called for information about the site I was lied to about hot breakfast. It was only available on the weekends. I was told that it was daily. With 3 grand kids going to Disneyland having to go out for breakfast every morning was a drag and unnecessary. There are plenty of motels that actually have hot breakfasts EVERY morning
Very clean motel, real nice folks behind the desk, about as close as your going to be able to stay to downtown Orange. Probably a 10-15 minute walk, totally safe.
If you want to avoid bad customer service, avoid going in around the graveyard shift...Dave has some issues. He clearly has no people skills. The sad part is that I liked this place...now because of him Im not going back nor renting for when my family come to visit me...now I have to find another place....everyone else is fine though
This is an older property but well maintained and very clean. The staff was helpful & courteous. Breakfast choices were OK. The internet access process was a bit cumbersome & we had to re-enter the code every time we returned to the premises.
I wiouod give zero stars if I could. Th handle in the shower did not work so no water would come out. The desk clerk was defensive. He cursed at me and said it was not the hotel’s fault if the last guest had not reported the problem. Does that mean the maid had not reported the problem, too, despite not being able to clean the bathroom? Or had hotel management ignored the problem and rented the showerless room anyway?In order to not be late for my meeting, I had to shower in a filthy, used room that had not been cleaned and run between the two in 42 degree weather with wet hair. BW staff needs training in dealing with customers and hotel maintenance.

This Best Western is a little away from Disney so the price is cheaper. Overall, it has everything you’ll need like WiFi and a free breakfast. Better than waking up early and eating somewhere else.
A gem! If you go to Disney, stay here for a great price includes breakfast, internet, parking, pool and save yourself a car rental -- although Disney is about 10 min away, you can order UBER for $8. each way and not have to be bothered with a car. Desk staff are awesome! Very comfortable and across the street from a supermarket.

Never again. All roads to Socal were closed due to extreme weather conditions (black ice and snow). I called hotel to let the attendant know that I had to turn around and go home as there is no open routes into SoC. Northern California and i would like a refund. He denied my request citing its 9pm and too late for refund. I explained to him the weather is out of my control and he had zero interest in the situation and adamantly denied a refund. RIDICULOUS!!!

Nice property. Convenient to freeway. The restaurant next door, Goodies, was terrible, but we found other options within a mile of hotel. Enjoyed the hotel stay and the close proximity to trolley.

Ok, this is a nice hotel. But when they require $200 deposit is almost like stupid. But if you areIn the area and have the deposit, check it out.

Terrible I was in my room no more then 10 Minutes before we discovered a Roach in the room. My husband asked for our money back and they didnt want to give it back because they couldnt control it. After over an hour wait he finally got half of his money back!! Never will I stay here AGAIN!!

First of all I have to say the night time manager is very nice thats when I got my hotel I have an autistic son my son was looking through the window and the screen slip out while someone was passing by and I guess he went and complained on my son and then the nighttime manager came what her finger in my face telling me that I should keep a close eye on my son and I was right there when it happened I apologize to the gentleman he screamed in my face and on my son and then the woman that argued with me told me to shut my mouth or she will kick me out of the motel at 11 at night I apologized to her she said that there is no exceptions I told her its not that big of a deal no one got hurt you said they could have and for me to shut my mouth these Motel has no tolerance for autistic kids and she told me to shut my kids mouth I explained to her that hes autistic she said she didnt care I feel so bad Im so helpless that people have nose compassion for my son or for me

Spacious bathroom, big towels, long mirror,fridge, coffeemaker it had it all. Great customer service.
Nice clean and modern rooms, WiFi and better than usual cable. Only down side is lack of any breakfast beyond the bare minimum.

Room was clean and well kept. Some of the staff seemed friendly with other guests but were extremely unhappy to help when I requested an extra blanket.

2022-05-11I have stayed at this hotel 2 times for a total of 6 nights. And even over the phone the front desk attendant (Michael) remembered me, and my preference of room.Recent remodel looks great. Rooms are very clean. I travel over 200 nights a year all over the country, and few chain hotels are this pleasant to deal with.Service is always outstanding. Every employee was kind and quick. I’d give them 20 stars if I could.

In the wake of my experiences staying at properties throughout covid pandemic, this Best Western has a staff that truly cares about the client and the property and its just a pleasure to not have to walk in to a front desk as if theyre doing you a favor. Best Westerns are independently owned and they put together a great staff that makes it feel homey and the rooms are the cleanest Ive seen anywhere.This is the best way I can say thank you for your kindness. Being a travel agent in my past life, back when there was no question that great customer service was a must, so many places have forgotten. But they havent. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

2022-01-15Everything we were expecting in a California motel. The room was clean and spacious, beds were comfy, bathroom was nice, linens were what you would expect from a motel of that price point. Pool was clean and welcoming. Reasons I didnt give 5 stars: we were in a 1 BR suite, and the bedroom did not have any HVAC. When the door was closed, which is the entire reason we booked the suite with the separate bedroom, it was sweltering hot in the bedroom. They did provide a quite powerful tower fan, but that only served to blow around the hot stale air. Secondly, the breakfast hours were quite brief. I believe they stopped serving at 9am.

2022-06-26Visibly dirty, hair and stains on the bedsheets and pillows when we checked in. Hotel is right on a main road so sirens are really loud passing by. Parking lot is small.Breakfast is annoying because you have to stand there and tell them what you want (you know just so you don’t steal extra butter or something and put them out of business).Don’t pay hotel prices for motel quality. Wish I just stayed at a motel closer to Disneyland.

2022-05-08I had a really nice room and the service was good because I nice customer service person Eddie helped me get my stuff in the room the room was really clean and really nice one little tiny issue is that the door was cut too high at bottom so I put a towel across the bottom but this was perfect location for me and a nice room with a huge TV and the bed was absolutely wonderfully comfortable

2022-04-11Seems like a weird part of town but very near Honda center. The manager/owner maybe kept accusing of calling the police about a suspicious subject in the middle of the night. We told him it wasnt us. If we saw a suspicious subject we would have called. It was very weird. Rooms nice though.
