Bed Bud Bed Bugs Bed Bugs Bed BugsI stay at this hotel true a this tiffs online booking company’s it was on January 13 to January 14 the Night as soon as I went to the Room with my business partner was around 10.30 pm around 11.30 pm I star scrunching my Arm it was very red and swollen I called the receptionist he come over he want to check for the bed bug look around the bed with lights. Bed bugs never wait to be seen.I check at the hotel review som one els wrote about the bed bugs in November 21 too.I spook to manager in the Morning she seed to me she will inspect the Room and let me know if their is any bugs.It is not true the will net see the true.I called her the sam day she sees we inspect their was no bed bugs. It is not True .She lays to me. I true all my stuff away no to bring any bed bugs homeCarful people Don’t book any hotel before you check the reviews
Positive: Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, just a few miles from Universal Studios, worked well for us. Serves breakfast but not much variety. Negative: Not the best neighborhood. But you feel safe enough if you don¿t venture out at nigh. Entrance is difficult if you come from the wrong direction.
Some Amazing sleep considering the NIGHT LIFE this is. My second stay because the 1st time I was not sure but both times wonderful experience all the staff very courteous especially Michael who was present both times dont let the night life scare you it was quite pleasant iD recommend you to all family and friends A+ 5*
Positive: Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the location was not too far from everything we wanted to see. Negative: Neighborhood wasnt the safest looking, and because of the limited parking, you have to double park and leave your keys at the office. Then we had to wait about 20 minutes for them to come back from lunch to get the keys!
I liked the area, much better option than staying in west Hollywood. It was easy to get to, and was definitely safer and quieter. Room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Had a coffee machine in the room which was great. Small free breakfast in the AM at front desk. Overall made our visit to the area relaxing and enjoyable. Will use again.
Its not near the Burbank Airport which was disappointing. It was not up to expectations and tried to cancel the next night but we were two hours late and they refused to give us a refund. We wanted to talk to the manager that we would continuously told that she was in a meeting. Its really unfair we would charge for a whole 24 hours. Normally when you leave a hotel they dont charge you for the entire next night. Check out time was about 11 a.m. and we checked out at about 2 or 3 p.m. and we were charged over $100.
TLDR: not worth the price and in a sketchy area. If you really cant find anywhere else to stay, then heres a decent bed for a night.Despite being titled Burbank Airport Inn, resides further in North Hollywood and not in the greatest area of NoHo. Not quite what we expected due to the price and selling points (proximity to other things) not matching what we got. Unless you are here to visit anything specifically in NoHo, then everything will be 40-60 min away with a good day of traffic. There is no pool, no water/ice station, and breakfast is very limited (even considering COVID-19 restrictions). Also be aware that there is double parking so you would leave your keys at the front desk for them to move your car if the person behind you leaves before you.The staff is nice. The rooms are clean enough despite some dirt on carpets, dust/musty smell, and no tub slip pad. To be honest though, I could have paid the same price and gotten a nicer place even if it was a little further than what my plans called for, which would have been worth it in retrospect. Also please enjoy this photo of their elevator permit showing how expired it is 🤔 (benefit of the doubt maybe they just havent switched in the new one??)
The room was clean, it needed to be dusted. Not the best neighborhood but I felt safe in the hotel. There was food places within walking distance. The only negative is the ice machine was broken for the 3 day stay. I informed the front desk every day. Got told they reset it, the maintenance person will be here in 30 minutes. And I think that water filter needs to be replaced.
I had a late flight into Burbank AIrport and used a taxi to get to the BW. Location is nice, just a few minute ride to the hotel. The clerk greeted me warmly with a smile , confirmed my reservation, thanked me for my Diamond Select membership status and in no time I was off to my room. The room was clean, tidy and had no odors at all. HVAC worked good, I had the room nice and cool for sleeping. The next morning I sat in the lobby waiting for my UBER updates on my phone, the lobby is spacious and has windows looking out so I could see my driver pulling up. Overall experience was positive.
The price was great, the staff at the front desk was accommodating and welcoming, however the one complaint I do have is of the carpets. The carpets seemed dirty and the room had a musty smell as if it was a room at a water park. The cleaning staff evidently tried to mask the smell with fragrant cleaning products. Once in the room we got used to the smell after 5 to 10 minutes. Everything else was pretty good, the room was clean and A/C was cold, all I ask for.
Hotel was extremely clean, the rooms and bathrooms were a good size, the bed was extremely comfortable and I loved all the pillows that were provided, made it feel like home! The TV was a great size, and I love that they have a comfy chair too air back and relax on and the desk with desk chair was a nice lil surprise, perfect for getting a lil work done
Hotel is a little hard to get into and parking can be sparse. Room we stayed in was very clean and the bed very comfortable. There is a very filling breakfast buffet with lots of beacon and eggs, also plenty of coffee. Not in the most desirable part of town but close to Universal Studios, Hollywood and Burbank airport. This hotel wont break the budget and there great value in staying here but a little drive from the above attractions.
Great Best Western experience. The locations was easy, parking even easier. I had to pack a suit in a carry-on bag, so I asked the front desk for a steamer. Carlo wasn’t sure. He showed up about 20 minutes later at the fitness room where I was working out with a steamer. That was much appreciated. The room rate was the best in the area. My room was large, spacious and clean, with wonderful bedding. Breakfast offered good variety and average/good quality. This is not a huge BW location, but appears to be well run. Overall, I was super happy.
This is the second time we have stayed here in the last six months. Very helpful receptionist who gave us the top floor room we wanted. The hotel is quiet and feels very safe. The parking is adequate but we have had no difficulty parking. The rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is great. Lots of choice and everything is kept topped up and Laura was very helpful in putting my porridge in the microwave every morning so thank you Laura!Only downside really is the lack of restaurant choice in the area but there are some a five minute drive away. The McDermotts.
Arrived at the Hotel and the front desk was unattended for a while, only one person attending. Noticed the couch on the lobby looked old and somewhat unclean, avoided sitting on it. The parking lot is inconvenient. Felt uncomfortable leaving key with the front desk manager (hotel has double parking, they need the key if you are parked in front of another car so the other car can leave). It also add to inconvenience as you have to wait for someone to be available to give you back youre car key.On a good note, the front desk manager was accommodating, when we requested for Grad & Go and Quick Check-Out. Those part worked out very well. Most Importantly, the lady minding the Breakfast Room was very friendly and efficient. She made sure food is ready by 6:00am, and she made sure the food trays and drinks were never empty. It was important to have a good start while vacationing, and she certainly helped a lot set us out on a good note every morning with her warm smile and friendly nature.
Parking can get complicated if you park in a spot for two cars but I never had this issue. Its a good location but visibility leaving the parking lot leaves much to be desired. Otherwise I was satisfied with my stay, the convenience of this location and the breakfast offered during our stay. Would stay again.
Stayed here for one night one a whim last minute before long drive home. Very impressed. Slightly over priced but all hotels/motels in the los angeles area are that way. My room was clean with an updated appearance and window treatments. Customer service was outstanding. Continental breakfast included. I would stay again/recommend. thank you!
Pros: Plenty of parking, clean and nice rooms, fantastic customer serviceCons: sketchy areaWhen I arrived at the hotel I was a bit skeptical of it due to the surrounding area. To put it straight it was Ghetto. But once I stepped in, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. The staff was very accommodating especially of our early check in. The rooms were clean and up to date. The breakfast was good and better than most other Best Western. Parking was plentiful and monitored via cctv. I had a chance to meet the manager, who was also very nice. They were so accommodating that when I had forgotten my Jacket, they kept it for two months until I was able to retrieve it. I would highly recommend this hotel!!
We were surprised at how clean and neat this hotel was. We basically needed one night to stay close to the airport. The price was right, the room was more than adequate and the toiletries were appreciated. The staff was especially friendly. We would stay there again if we needed to be close to the airport for early departure.
Overall experience was pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds comfy. Breakfast was basic but good and hot. Only concern is the parking. Parking is tight. You need to pull forward to double park and leave keys at desk in case car needs to be moved for who ever parks behind you. Its not really an issue, however, we did have a scrape along rear right panel that was not there before. When brought to attention of staff, gentleman said he moved car but absolutly did not hit anything to cause that scrape, that it was probably whoever pulled in next to the car... We asked to watch cameras but were told owner/manager would be there next morning and that he could accommodate our request. Needless to say, due to time we did not see owner. Luckily, we were able to buff most of scrape out and car rental company did not notice.
Newer hotel, very clean, great staff, and a really good hot breakfast offerings with fruit. Room was cleaned well each day - staff at all levels - was very helpful - and nice. I would have given this hotel 5 stars - but it is located in an older blue collar spanish neighborhood and does not have any recommended restaurants in three block or less. Parking is indoors, free, as part of the hotel - in their garage. GREAT place - just a strange location. Loved the room, staff, and breakfast. Loved the eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, and orange juice. Parking is free. Another good place to consider is the Holiday Inn in Burbank for about the same price plus parking.
This is a superb hotel. The staff is outstanding and extremely helpful. Highest compliments! we stayed here again in early October 2019. When we checked in, the air conditioning was not working. We notified Michael at the front desk. He said he would check it and have maintenance (who had left for the day) walk him through trouble shooting measures. We left for dinner. When we returned, Augustin was there replacing the unit. Michael quickly determined that it was not a trouble shooting issue and Augustin came back to work to take care of the problem. They went way above and beyond to make sure our stay was a comfortable one. We will be returning to this hotel in December 2019!
Upon arriving at the hotel we were concerned based on the neighborhood location; however, we were pleasantly surprised with what we found inside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and modern. The rooms are on the second and third floor of the building which provided an added level of ease and safety. When you exit the elevator and enter the rooms, you will be surprised by the cleanliness and decor of everything. We would stay here again and we would recommend it to others needing to travel on a budget.
Great value! Good sized rooms and an amazing breakfast. It is well stocked and the ladies do a fantastic job of making sure everyone is OK. We felt let down by the gym. Needs an update. I read a lot about the area and can honestly say that there is nothing to worry about. No, its not a pretty area to look at but it is well located for the airport and North Hollywood metro. Never did we ever feel unsafe. Downtown LA is prettier but felt much more unsafe than the area of the hotel.
Stayed there last minute as our other hotel didnt have our reservations. In a sketchier side of town, but is nice hotel. Rooms were clean and tidy. Everything was great. The woman at the continental breakfast was super helpful and friendly. Very attentive. Great stay!
My review is strictly based on a comparison to other Best Western locations.Overall this particular location is a dump that I would strongly recommend avoiding if at all possible. Im born and raised in Los Angeles and even for me the surrounding area is sketchy to say the least. Probably didnt help waking up in the morning to one of the locals standing directly in front of the building screaming profanities at another individual. Parking is free but an absolute joke, theres one row of single spots and the opposite row is double parking. Meaning youre either going to be blocked in and have to wait for the front desk to move the car blocking you in or youll have to leave your keys with the front desk and rely on them to safely move your car so the person behind can leave. There were also a couple vehicles that looked like they hadnt moved in months as if the owner was allowed to use the parking area for storage. The main lobby is clean, but the hallways smell like old carpet and uncirculated air. The rooms are (or my room anyway) designed poorly with the bathroom door located directly opposite the main door, requiring the bathroom door to be shut at all times. Shower is a tub/shower combo with a shower curtain which by todays standards isnt exactly sanitary. Both nightstands had surfaces that were chipped, with bubbling finishes and burn marks. The lamps on each nightstand have two USB ports for charging electrical devices, all four ports did not work. The head board had chips on each corner and the walls of the room could use a fresh coat of paint or at the very least a deep cleaning. Window shutters had broken slats so only about 3/4 would open at the same time. This hotel was supposedly renovated in recent years but nothing about it is modern. Light switches are old and the entire hotel is carpeted, in recent years the vast majority of hotels have switched to laminated hardwood floors for sanitary reasons and ease of cleaning. When the room nextdoor would run water it could be clearly heard through the pipes in the wall. The eating area on the third floor was directly above my room and I was treated to the sound of chairs banging against the floor for a little over an hour as the staff cleaned up in the morning. One of the maids for reasons unknown knocked on every door an hour before check out repeating the same phrase after each knock which could not be understood through the door. The free breakfast was absolutely horrendous and I genuinely mean horrendous. The eggs were flavorless and sitting in a pool of water, the bacon was like wet noodles, the sausage was an odd color and the entire eating area was depressing. The front desk night shift attendant was the only saving grace, he was extremely friendly and efficient. Just be aware youve been warned, this place is a dump, there are numerous hotel locations within reasonable driving distance that I know for a fact offer a better value for your money and overall experience.Update 3-13-2020The owner of this location responded to the above review and said that this hotel had not been renovated since it opened in 2009. I believe him based on its current condition. There are however two reasons why I was under the impression it had been recently renovated. I attached a screen shot that clearly shows its from this locations website and was also taken the same day as this update. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the photo youll see where it says NEWS FROM THE FRONT DESK, the second line directly under that begins with BRAND NEW HOTEL! This is one of the main reasons why I had booked this hotel. It however didnt take long to realize there was something wrong with that information. The second reason I thought it had been recently renovated is because I specifically asked the front desk how old the hotel was and they are the ones who informed me it had been renovated within the past couple years. So my message to the owner if you read this is stop misleading your guests and update your website, 11 years old is definitely not a brand new hotel!
We had no idea what to expect when we booked this hotel, as we were visiting LA for the first time. We booked this hotel because of its price and also because it wasnt too far away from the areas we were interested in visiting. This hotel is not situated in a nice area at all, however if like us, youre only looking for a place to stay and be comfortable at night while you go out all day, its fine. The facilities, once you get in, are quite nice and pleasant and we were very comfortable in our room. If you have a ton of bags like we did traveling with a baby, theres no one to assist you, which sucks, but all in all you pretty much get what you pay for.
We needed a same night reservation and chose this BW. I was a little leery looking at the neighborhood and considering I am a Hilton/Marriott only guy, but this hotel is a little gem! Night staff went out of their way to make sure we had parking that I was comfortable with and super impressed us from the start. Gentleman was very kind! Thanks again. Room was comfy and clean and there was even a decent hot breakfast. Parking is secure. It was a quiet night. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I am so grateful for the Best Western and the lovely customer service, I came all the way from Lancaster for my sons birthday and the Airbnb host cancel at the last moment I was going to the Sugar Factory I came to this room and was helped with everything 🤸♀️🙏😁🥰😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏Thank You guys so much Im so grateful 😁😁😁😁🙏
Great place, staff was very polite, room was great for the money, complimentary breakfast was always great. House keeping always kept our rooms clean without us having to request it. Minutes away from fast food places, grocery stores, laundromat, gas station etc etc...will book again when I visit LA !!!!!
Outside doesnt look to appealing. Parking is small. Area is sketchy. Inside is very nice and clean. Smells nice not musty like most hotels. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, huge t.v. was great with cable. Bathroom was pretty big. Internet didnt work for me but it was most likely my phone because it worked just fine for the others who were with me. Breakfast was ok. Pretty close to universal studios.
Incredibly disappointed in this facility. I have stayed here before, not a bad place to stay. Most recent stay was May 8th and my total bill was $415.51. As a business traveler, I earn an enormous amount of points and am a Diamond level member with Best Western. But I personally travel so much for work that I let my husband and sons use my points, because I don’t want to travel for leisure. So, I booked a room here for my son to use with the points. The general manager decided that they would not accept the use of the points if I am not there, even though my son has the same last name and lives at the same address as I do, and every other Best Western is glad to accept the use of points for my family. The general manager refused to even call me. Instead the clerk had to communicate with me. The clerk was nice, but the general manager made it very clear that there would be no customer service provided to my son or myself. I can certainly tell you that if your concerned about customer service, this is NOT the place to stay. The General Manager has no interest in caring for frequent travelers. The refusal to even call me really made me realize that my dollars will be much better spent at a hotel that cares.
I loved Best Western my room was clean everybody was very nice go away in above for our needs. Only problem I had with this particular Best Western the breakfast was okay it wasnt the best. The eggs was not real eggs on think cuz she poured some liquid stuff inside the heating thing and then there was eggs. They had pancake better out there for you to make your own waffle which it was good everything else was good except for the eggs. When I go back to Universal Studios I would definitely would be staying at this Best Western again
I previously left a review, but it was for the wrong hotel. This review is for BURBANK airport Best Western.Love this hotel. The rooms are clean, bed was very comfortable, towels good, TV has many channels and is probably a 47 inch. Free wifi but even though its pw protected, the warning says its not secure?? Breakfast not bad at all, enough variety. Front desk staff very nice. Close to universal and airport. Neighborhood not the prettiest or newest, but that didnt bother me. 24 hr donut shop next door has delicious sandwiches. The price is much better here compared to the same quality hotel in a newer neighborhood. Reserve early, this hotel books quick. Many guests on business as well as families on vacation. I definitely recommend and will stay there again when I am able to visit from Florida to see my son again. Youre welcome readers!
For the price of this hotel, the location seemed to be in a sketchy area, but once you you walk inside the lobby, you pretty much forget all about it! The parking was weird, as you are double parking with other guests and have to leave your keys with the front desk if you are the outer vehicle. The night attendant was very nice and cracked a couple of jokes, which were needed after a very long day. Once upstairs where the rooms are, it is very nice. Its like never ending hallways of pretty carpeting and rooms, where the doors look like nicely painted front doors to houses. The room I stayed in felt muggy all night. But you werent reminded until you walked into the hallway (we got used to it). The beds were amazing! The toilets have a low flush system so dont use excessive paper. The free breakfast was definitely a plus, however they had a sign that said gluten-friendly and non-dairy items available upon request, and since I so happen to need both, I approached the kind attendant and asked what the other options were. She just kind of pointed me to the 1 cereal that was already out and the meat. Never acknowledged the non-dairy part, since there were only whole and 2% milk options out. So that was a little disappointing. Check out time is at 11a, and the hotel was about 2 miles from the 170 freeway, which made it easy to get home. Overall extremely pleasant experience.
I try to stay at a Best Western hotel when I travel. I was pleased to see that this hotel was near Universal Studio as that is where my visitors wanted to go.The hotel was great! Clean comfortable room. Satisfactory breakfast as everyone found something that they liked. The neighborhood has seen better days.
For the price and convenient location to universal studios it cant be beat. Clean and friendly. Quiet. Parking is limited but during the week wasnt an issue. Rougher part of town but hey its LA right? Had no issues walking to nearby restaurants and stores including the hidden gem W4L (Google it 420 partakers). Chill spot for families on a budget. Breakfast was pretty decent for the price with eggs bacon sausage waffles and the standard continental spread. Book in advance to get best rates. We paid around 100$ a night for June 17-21 and saw going rate at the time was like 160.00 for that price in advance could stay much closer to LA in nicer area. Id stay here again with or without the fam.
Dont let the neighborhood fool you. This hotel is such a gem. Great people, quiet, clean and comfortable. I have stayed here on many occasions for business and cant say enough great things about it. The price is very fair for what you get.The downside is theres nothing in the immediate area to walk to but everyone drives in LA. Perfect overnight for flying out of Burbank.
Our experience at the Burbank airport Best Western was great! Clean rooms, friendly staff at front desk, housekeeping and breakfast attendant. Mike was especially helpful and probably the friendliest person we met in all of LA. Dont let the surroundings of the hotel deter you, it is a diamond in the rough. Would have given the facility a 5, had it not been for the parking situation. Its very limited and they have a well devised plan to make it work, but just wished they were able to have adequate space. Well monitored though!
The property was very clean, very satisfied with only one entrance way into the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and professional. Obviously the hotel is not in the best neighborhood being by the airport, however my wife and I felt very safe staying at this hotel. I would stay there again if I need to be down in that area.
Always a great stay here. The hotel is not in the best area and there is not much of a view from your room. The parking situation is interesting as well. Of you park in the rear spot you have to leave your keys at the front. Make sure you take valuables out of your car if that is the case however, Ive never had a problem there.
I have never stayed at a Best Western but after my experience here I will definitely be a return customer. I drove in from the bay area the day after the Thomas fire in Ventura started. I had been planning to find a place to stay in Sunland but later that day the fire spread to that area also.I was left scrambling to find a place to stay before it got to late in the evening. After leaving one terrible motel and with all other nearby motels sold out I found this place. All they had left was a 2 bedroom but I took it since I was pretty desperate and concerned about the smoke in the air. The gentleman in the front was very accommodating as he helped me sign up for the rewards program to lower my rate for that night. After having a stressful day it was a literal breath of fresh air.The two bed room I stayed in was very spacious and clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The breakfast bar was fantastic. Also I needed to use a printer and they had a little business center they have for guests - I thought that was a nice touch for guests on business. This motel is within walking distance to a Yum Yum Donuts that I thought was very good - a plus in case you want more than the generous breakfast provided at the motel.
Comfortable, friendly hotel with cheerful and helpful staff. Typical hot and cold breakfast, free wifi: about what youd expect from this sort of hotel. Good value for the money.NOTE: I previously posted a review intended for my second hotel on this itinerary, the Hyatt Regency at LAX. Please disregard that review and read this one instead! :-)
I was about to check in the hotel after a long day at 1:30pmMy family and I woke up at 3 am to start our way from Hollister Ca. To Burbank Ca. My mom had a surgery at 9:00am, when they finished with the surgery, the doctors told her to rest so we went to the hotel for my mom to rest. Unfortunately, this employee named Kevin said not until 3:00 pm. He did not even bother to check if the room we booked was available, I was expecting an empathic front desk employee since he works at hospitality.
Worst experience I have had at a BW location. It started with the smell in the lobby and only got worse the closer i got to my room. The elevator had a strong smoke odor. The rooms smelled like smoke/rotten food/ and dirty sheets. I didnt end up staying that night. The price of this room is not worth the quality.
Great experience and a real bargain for the Los Angeles area. Clean room, lobby and parking. Great staff - very friendly from front desk to housekeeping. Easy enough to drive to Hollywood, Echo Park even downtown. You will definitely need a car for restaurants but close to the Burbank airport!
Right when we got there, there was some weird insect in the bed and the bed sheet was stained. Also the pad they had protecting the mattress was stained, which I discovered while inspecting the bed for bed bugs. Throughout the stay, the housekeep8ng service would take our towels but wouldnt replace them til a very long time passed, or if I would go to them and ask myself. They only fully serviced the room once in the 3 nights we stayed there
Paper thin walls. Nicest staff ever cant make up for the noise from your neighbors and the street. Props to the staff for the great service but the hotel jtself needs a full renovation to fix the noise. At a minimum, put some noise canceling curtains (or really any curtains at all) on the windows.
Friendly and brief check-in. Stayed one night via Priceline. Very clean room, ultra comfortable bed, no complaints at all with the facilities. Bring your own toiletries: you only get lotion, shampoo, a shower cap and two soaps. If youre staying with your mate, ask for more towels and shampoo at the desk because youll need them. Otherwise, you could definitely do worse.
We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is close to Universal Studios and the Hollywood walk of fame. Having the subway station about one mile away is very convenient as it stops at both of these locations as well as the Panteges Theater. Rooms are very quiet and the beds comfortable. They have a fairly good breakfast with both hot and cold items.
Parking was a huge issue for me. Friendly staff but just disliked the location and parking. For future people, if you park in the parking garage under the hotel, the spaces are limited. There are single parking spots on one side and on the other side there are double parking spots. There are limited parking spots in the garage, maybe 30? If you park your car behind someone in the double parking side, then the staff members of the hotel require you to leave your keys at the front desk where they are able to move your car if needed. When I was there I observed that some of the staff members seemed to watch the security camera they have on the garage and others didnt seems to pay attention. If you stay at this hotel then just be aware of what your paying for.
Stayed here for $120 a night. King bed room and bathroom were nice and clean, comfortable pilllows, nice sheets, good shower, working AC/heater. Came with a tv, fridge, safe, all the standard stuff. Parking lot entrance is easy to miss, right by the intersection so its hard to enter when lots of traffic. Continental breakfast was good with cereal, waffles, eggs bacon sausage juice toast etc. This part of town is kind of ghetto with lots of auto shops, but the parking garage felt secure with cameras.
We booked this place to go to Universal Studios. We stayed for 3 night and had a really enjoyable time. Theres nothing really fancy here but the rooms are well cleaned and the front desk was friendly. Also the breakfast was good and if you dont like it the donut shop right next store is deliocious with lots of choices. The pictures are of the donuts at Yum Yum donuts. There is also an exercise area. My wifes only complaint is the comforter had filling that would end up on one side of the blanket leaving one side feeling like a sheet. It was conveniently located to get to Santa Monica Pier and Universal Studios. Next trip we make we will be looking to stay at Best Western.
OMG this is in the ghetto!! This is NOT a $140/night hotel. I only spent one night there because I didn’t feel safe. Also, you have to double park and they make you leave your keys at the front desk so they can move your car if needed. Seriously, DO NOT SPEND $140 ON THIS HOTEL IN THE GHETTO!
The motel and the people working there were excellent, while the location was a bit remote from other services such as a grocery or food options, the motel itself was a good value for the cost. It is also relatively close to freeway options in Los Angeles. The wifi and breakfast options, and exercise room were all of good quality, and their business office made it easy to print materials.
Hotel is in a not so nice area and didnt want to take my kids to any place around the hotel for fear of crime. Room started smelling like urine by the third night (smelled like they cleaned the carpets right before we got there). The food was eatable but bland. Would not recommend this hotel.
Courteous staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and the Internet worked the entire time we were there. And its right next-door to the donut shop! What else could you ask for? This was our first time to stay at this Best Western, but we will definitely plan to stay here next time we are in Burbank.
Awesome stay for our family, sketchy neighborhood, but this place just rocks, ultra clean bed/bathroom and great breakfast for a fresh start. garage parking and convenient to all attractions. Above all, we got a homely feeling and definitely recommend this place. Free parking too.
Rooms were comfortable, wi-fi was great, breakfast was very nice, especially Laura, who was very helpful and pleasant. Really helped to have a business center. On the downside, room 222 smelled and room 220 had a dripping shower, wasting a lot of water. Parking situation isnt great if you arrive late in the evening.
Location is a bit outside of city but very near to the universal studios. and differebt other attractions in the city. the rooms are big and clean. breakfast had many options as cereals, bagels, breads, muffins, hot waffles and fresh fruits n juices n coffee. liked it overall.
Great stay. Quiet, clean, and comfortable room with really fast internet (only tried the wired).Breakfast was OK in a small room, might get crowded at certain times. Many attractions (Universal Studios, Walk of Fame, Hollywood sign) are just a short drive (10-15 mins even in crowded traffic) away.Would definitely stay there again.
The area is not that great but youre not far from downtown. The rooms are what youd typically find in a motel, not too small but not roomy. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is wholly unimpressive, send the exercise room is bare minimum. Overall not a bad stay though.
This place is way expensive for my budget, this is more for middle or upper-middle class incomes in my opinion. It was like 140 plus other room fees. Plus theres a room deposit thats the same price as that for the rental. Aside from the price, everything was modern and luxurious. Carpeted room, safe, iron, hangers, plenty of towels, specially soaps, blow-dryer, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, tv, chair, desk with office chair, desk lamp, cabinet, bedside lamps, alarm clock. The Wi-Fi wasnt working
I stayed here for two nights wonderful place no complaints. ..Very clean staff nice and friendly...on Sunday breakfast was served by Elva really nice and very helpful...on Monday its was Laura great helper!!The housekeeper was very good...she told anything you need let me know thanks Esther...Very good experience here thank you everyone...
The BW Burbank Airport Inn is a wonderful place to stay when you are in the Burbank area. The hotel is clean, has friendly staff, a nice continental breakfast including eggs, meat, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit and juice. Our room was updated. The WiFi works well. We paid an extremely reasonable price for the area.
Overall, it was ok. The location is not great and here are not many local food joints worth walking to. The staff were nice and it was clean, bit it did seem a bit outdated. If you need somewhere cheap to stay near the airport, it gets the job done but there are a lot of options in Burbank.
Best value in the area for sure! It was clean, comfortable, with great staff, and a better-than-expected free breakfast. The Wi-Fi worked great, no complaints. The breakfast buffet had a really solid selection (eggs, sausage, fruit, toast, yoghurt, cereals, etc.). I had lunch at Coffee Land --a café across the street and it was really good, with great ice cream too! There are other places to eat in walking distance. I went south on Lankershim Blvd and found taco shops and a neat looking diner. The taxi from LAX wasnt cheap ($87) but the hotels rate was so inexpensive, it didnt matter to me. I was in LA without a car so I used a combination of taxis and (believe it or not) the bus. Despite the poor rep LA public transit has, the bus service by this hotel is excellent. The hotel is at the intersection of two major routes and I had no trouble getting around. Route 224 takes you to Universal Studios. The décor was pleasant and cheery, but made me laugh. There are only 3 different pictures used throughout the entire hotel so you see the same ones over and over. Well, its a harmless way for them to cut costs. I loved the price, and was glad I didnt have to compromise on comfort for it. Very glad I chose it for my stay.
Extremely NOISY. My room was facing thestreet and the noise from cars was so loud as if the window was open. Also the walls are really thin and neighbors snoring is quite loud as well..My room was on the 2nd floor and when someone started packing early in the morning I could count every step instead of sleeping. So ask for the 3rd floor room if possible or buy earplugs in advance.

2022-06-27Stayed here for one night, I understand they were under renovation but they never told us thats an issue, the quality and limitations of the towels is an issue, the sink doesnt fully shut off so all night we had to listen to water dripping, breakfast only was muffins and coffee, there was no list of TV channels and Im a very big hockey fan and game six of the 2022 finals was on and I missed the cup getting lifted by the avalanche because I could not find the channel. Vending machines dont take cash, only coins, workout room is bland and lacking machines, I worded that bad, it has machines but only 4, no cleansing wipes so I walked in there and walked right out because I dont wanna use machines with other peoples germs on them, couch was ripped in the room, they get 2 stars because I actually slept well even with the water dripping in the bathroom and it was quiet and peaceful besides of course, the water dripping in the bathroom. I would like to try this hotel again once the renovations are complete to see if the hotel improved.

2022-04-15Front desk was great, they listen to your concerns and necessities. This area of LA in particular felt skeptical, but the hotel and the room itself felt safe and when we got to our room, everything smelled and looked very nice and clean! breakfast in the morning was great as well (bagels, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, coffee n juice) would definitely stay here again!

2022-03-24Positive: I¿m still waiting for my deposit back to my credit card but otherwise I had a nice stay. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served in the morning was good. Negative: Just the wait for my $100 deposit on the credit card. I thought it would be refunded faster at check out. I want to book again but still show a temporary authorization from the recent stay.

2022-04-19Room was clean enough to feel comfortable. Air conditioner needed to be cleaned out it was sending out a funky smell but was nice and cold. Cant beat the location if you are using the Burbank airport.

2022-06-05To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I got this hotel because it had a decent price, but talk about get what you paid for.First, I would like to say the positives.1. The bed was comfortable.2. There was good hot water in the shower.(Yeah, that’s pretty much it)The negatives far exceed the positives.1. I thought it was going to be nice that my room was literally next to the breakfast buffet, but I soon saw things that made my stomach churn. The selection was lackluster. They put out eggs and bacon on a warming tray. The tray was not the issue. I could tell right off the bat that the food was microwaved. The eggs were not fresh. They were reconstituted, pre-packaged eggs that were pressed into disc shapes. The bacon was the cheapest bacon that you could buy in a grocery store. It was so thin, that I could see right through it. I could tell they were microwaved due to seeing the kitchen which is right across from the breakfast bar and the texture of the food as well. Luckily, I was not to far from Norms, where they actually make a good breakfast. The kitchen didn’t look clean either.2. On top of the bad breakfast experience, the handling of the food was what really making my stomach churn. I watched an employee come out and place bread out with no gloves. And she was grabbing bread by the handful. I know she was not washing her hands either and she was supposed to wear gloves anyway.3. My room was not clean either. There was dust everywhere. I also can tell that the fixtures were not properly taken care of. For example: The light above the mirror in the bathroom has metal brackets that were incredibly rusty and dirty.4. I was hoping to use the gym to get my morning workout in, but all the equipment was broken. Luckily, I was still able to walk to get some steps in.5. The parking lot is ridiculous. There are single parking spots, no more than 10 I think under the building. But then next to those spots are double parking spots that need the first car to pull forward and be trapped. Then the hotel says if the car that can get out is parked, you have to leave your keys with the front desk. No way am I letting a hotel worker use my car. I told them to just call me. Luckily this just happened on my last night. In summary, you get what pay for, but when you pay $700 for 4 nights stay, you would think there would be some effort put into the place. I should’ve paid a little more to a better hotel. I will bot do business here again.

2022-04-26Good deal but if youre looking for views or like me thought youd be at the airport you may want to double check. Overall no complaints, nice staff, onsite parking, great breakfast offerings, and close to amazing Mexican food and liquor store.

2022-04-22Friendly staff horrible ameadies!! If your looking for a clean place to stay and a 15 minute drive to Universal then stay here. The breakfast selection is a joke! No freash fruit, cheap juice, and barely anything to eat. I had to ask for extra coffee creamer. They dont have gluten free options only cheap child size yogurt!! Good luck!!☹️
