CTSI (Best Buy’s 3rd party service) keeps failing over and over.1. Washer to be delivered never showed up. I was never notified and neither was Best Buy.2. TV delivery - CTSI was supposed to call 30 mins before delivery but failed to and just showed up while I was picking my kid up from school.3. TV delivery rescheduling - CTSI delivered the TV 1 hour before the delivery window.4. TV mounting - CTSI crew did not know how to mount the TV bracket hardware and asked me how to do it.Best Buy, your 3rd party partner CTSI is embarrassing your brand and reputation.
First time here. As soon as I walk in I was help. Went to the area for tv antennas. As soon as I got to the department I was help. Thats service. I had just came from Staples. I walked around for 10 minutes. No body around to help me. Bed customer service. Keep up the great work people.
My rating is for this visit only. Stock was bare. Everything we came to buy was out of stock so we had to do the home delivery option.The staff was amazing and knowledgeable about questions we had. We will definetly come back when the shelves are restocked.Good thing is they must of had a lot of product fly off the shelves for the Holiday rush. Im glad about that when it comes to shopping local at one of the last remaining electronics and appliances stores.Staff was apologetic but were helpful. Some sections that we came to look at by Samsung were left unstocked by their in store Samsung Rep while the other competitors had plenty of displays to show off their products.Pro Tip: always look at the open box items. You can get the best pricing and even an additional discount if you ask.
One of the most unfriendly stores I have been to. God forbid you ask an employee for assistance, especially if its not their area. Unfortunately I am forced to go there due to time constraints once or twice a year. i will drive to the one in Studio City before I even think to go to the Santa Clarita store
Absolutely ridiculous. Scheduled a pick up for today at 2:30 ish. Website said it would be ready around 3:30. It wasnt ready so I called and they said it should be another hour. Hour goes by, I called again they said 15 min. It has been 4 hrs since I placed it and it is not ready, it is in stock in store too. If I pay that much money for an item I would expect it to be ready on time. Employees were not helpful.
We recently purchased an LG WashTower at Best Buy. What followed was an endless number of visits from XPO Logistics (Best Buy’s installer), plumbers and electricians. Most of this could have been avoided if the original visit from XPO Logistics would have identified what was necessary instead of piece-mailing adjustments, repairs and upgrades over the next 2 months. Fortunately, Frank Santaella at Best Buy was always there and extremely helpful in getting us through this mess. Now that it’s finally done, we are enjoying the LG WashTower, and Frank was true to his word in getting us very acceptable compensation for our troubles. Thank you Frank!
We needed to purchase a replacement computer and the sales staff was very knowledgeable and informative. The young man in the GeekSquad that set up the computer was totally amazing and extraordinarily competent and made sure that we understood and were happy with everything that he had set up. His name was Tommy, and I would highly recommend him to properly set up your new equipment.
I went to the phone section.Since I could not find the item I was look for I asked the employee for assistance.She was very rude and ignored me and another customer who was also waiting for assistance. We waiting for over fifteen minutes until another employee (could have been a supervisor) came over and asked if he could assist us. The entire time she was moving at a snails pace. Either she was new and didnt know what to do or was just not interested in assisting customers.When I described what I was looking she stated that they did not carry the product. The other employee who assisted me immediately walked me over to the shelf where the product was located.Poor customer service.Your employee was a heavy set blond female and wore glasses.
Ordered an expensive stove and had it installed. It’s a 5-burner stove gas range, but only 4 stove burner parts were delivered and installed; and the stove puts out gas when started. The installation service person said they’ll be back in a day or two to finish the install once I receive the missing parts. He also charged me $95 for a gas-valve adapter even though I paid $100 for the gas installation kit through Best Buy. Numerous phone calls later, and hours wasted, and multiple wrong parts mailed to me, installation service finally came over 4 weeks later(!), and they didn’t even know why they were sent, said parts were wrong, stove puts out too much gas and needs to be replaced. It’s a hazard. Said Best Buy “will call me in 5 to 10 minutes to set up replacing the stove.” 3 hours later never called. Spent an hour on hold with Best Buy trying to get a supervisor to fix the situation. Never could. Told supervisor would call me, but they never did. Terrible service, rip off, and will probably have to sue. NEVER buy from Best Buy!
I needed to buy a very simple phone for my mother. While I was looking a young man name Tristin offered to help me find what I was looking for. I think this place is over priced ??? I was only able to pick up 1-item of what I was looking for, so I went to Walmart afterwards to try my luck... I found the same item I was looking for 1/4 of the cost. I could have purchased 4- @ Walmart for what 1-item cost me at Best buy.. I guess it was actually my worst Buy...lol...
Every time I go into this Best Buy every employee is busy or is rude if I ask for help. Today, two employees were just standing at a register talking and when I asked for help the guy seemed a little rude and said we will help you in a minute and proceed to talk with another person. So now there were three employees talking and to me didn’t seem like they were doing anything. After a couple minutes they told me to go to geek squad to get the screen protector on that I wanted. The people at geek squad were pretty nice not too bad but still overall every experience here hasn’t been the best. They always seem to be really busy and talking amongst each other instead of helping out customers.
Tried to get a Samsung smart watch.. no helo at all. 1 worker in the phone section. He was helping someone and 3 more were in line waiting. After 30 mins and no other employees askijg if we needed help, I walked to the watch display to see there all sold out. Left. Not worth the visit.
Went in and out in a jiffy. The line moved quickly once inside the employees are making sure there is social distancing going on and the correct amount of people inside. Its not over crowded and the checkout lines move very fast. They have some good deals going on. Went in for a Roku stick as other stores didnt have them in stock.
This is by far the worst store for a best buy I have ever been to. The manager is beyond rude and lazy. I went in to place an order for car audio, paid in full and ensured I had everything ready to go for the order to ensure it could be installed. Two days before the installer called to explain that he did not have all the parts and the person who ordered the radio to the store did not check to make sure the product could even be sold. I was told that I would receive a call back from someone at the store to let me know what they found out about my order and if I was still to show up for the appointment, only to have an email sent to say they cancelled my order and that a refund would be issued. This is truly were the complete lack of intelligence came from this stores location, this stores manager, and this stores employees. I called 9 times to the customer service number, on the 9th call after each before said they had gotten it taken care of (of course that was never true nor taken care of) I was told on the last call that the store is the only people who can take care of it. It took (not kidding) 5 days of calling the store to get a hold of a single person, in which to get anything done I had to demand a manager 5 times before the manager took 40 minutes to get on the phone. Following the start of complete lack of professionalism with their client so far, the manager could not even locate my order for another 30 minutes. Following there was no apology for the complete lack of dealing with my issue for the last 6 weeks and the complete failure of his store to preform a transaction properly, he was rude, short, and believed to the point of stating outright that I was over reacting to having a 200 dollar transaction put on hold for 6 weeks despite the cancellation without my permission, nor notice, the fact that my transaction wasnt even processed till 6 weeks later, no one reached out to handle the transaction in limbo and I was treated very rudely and very poorly. Do not make a transaction in this store if you think there is EVER a chance you might need to return, you may never see your money, and the manager will make sure to belittle and insult you as much as possible in the process. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Best Buy has lost a customer for life, based on the incredibly low standards held to a store in a high population area. Literally could buy from Walmart and get better customer service, better help in store, better customer service phone access, better employees who actually answer their main phone number during business hours, and certainly overall a more professional staff.
HORRIBLE MANAGER NAMED BEN. AKA CUSTOMER REPELLANT! I was treated excellent with a large purchase in TVs and then went to computers to buy 4k monitor and laptop where I was also treated EXCELLENT by the guy working there. The sales guy told me he could get me a discount on this $600 open box 4k monitor with no power cable. He called Ben (who greets people poorly at the door) to approve a discount. The monitor was in B-C condition. He reluctantly tells me he can knock off $100. I kindly asked if he can go a bit cheaper. He replies with an attitude that he can sell it to me for higher price. If I felt he was genuinely joking I would have laughed. He was being a you know what. My request was merited and would have still bought at $500 if not for his snark remark. Best buy can do without! Walked out and bought NOTHING. They lost 3 large sales. TV, monitor, laptop. Good job Ben!
Came in to pick up an online order I went in two different lines and when it was my turn instead of letting me know that I had to wait or that theyd be back the kind of just walked away I did find a helpful employee who was able to help me out choosing a screen protector and installing it on the phone thank you for that but I would really make it a point to the employees to at least communicate with clients even if you dont have the opportunity to assist them then and there
This has been the electronics store for my whole life here in Santa clarita. My only problem was that they didnt have an Xbox one controller the last time I went when I needed a new one. At checkout I asked the cashier if I could order one, paid for it and it came 2 days later.... not preferable but its a good option for what they dont have
I bought a microwave and install services from them two days ago. Geek Squad came in today and installed without a hitch! Completely different experience with Home Depot.I am very satisfied and very relieved I now have a microwave in my kitchen.I will recommend friends and family for major appliances with Best Buy.
This place is the nicest Best Buy I’ve ever been to. I brought in a product I originally purchased a few months back that consistently kept breaking. At first I had very little luck trying to exchange the product for one that works due to the fact it was purchased so long ago. Then the manager Michael graciously came out to speak with me. He explained things in a way I was able to easily understand and relate to. Then he went above and beyond. He went and found the product and swapped it out for me! I was very impressed by the way he handled the situation! I have spent many years shopping at Best Buy. All across Los Angeles county. This location by far has the best customer service and an excellent manager that clearly cares for his customers. Thank you very much! I will be shopping at this location exclusively from now on!!
Picked up some items using the curbside pickup. I think they could provide a better explanation of how this process works and what youll need to obtain it. Ideally, youll have a smartphone for you to identify that youre at the store in a particular parking spot, then you wait about 3 minutes for them to come out. Youre then supposed to show them your phone which shows a code (a subset of the order number) to prove that youre authorized to pick up the item. In a COVID world, theyre not really checking IDs - but they are checking paperwork. At this Best Buy, they took a minute extra but didnt bother to verify my paperwork.Another time, I went to pick up but my phone died, so it took forever to get my item. I didnt have the order number, so they tried to lookup my order from my phone number (but it wasnt associated for some reason) - so I actually had to wait in my car to charge my phone again, just to get the order number. That said, once I could prove this was really my order, it was quick and painless. But it needs work.
Overall they have what you may be looking for. Not as stocked as pre-covid but if you have a general idea of what you are looking for they most likely would have it. Also you can check out the laptops to compare if you were in the market for one for work/school. Customer service is hit and miss depending on what department you are in. Seems like I had to interrupt a floor meeting to ask a question.
Don’t bother preordering games from Best Buy. My order wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be. My game was payed for, as well as me being under the impression that I would get to choose my steelbook cover. Not only did i have to wait a long time to get cyberpunk, they made it a very difficult, and stressful situation. “Curbside pickup” included me having to go into the store to resolve my issue about why My game wasn’t ready.(It was)I did not get to choose my steelbook as was advertised on the website and part of the reason I ordered through Best Buy. Instead they said it’s a random steelbook that’s going to be mailed. Come to check the address ok file and it’s not the one I had put. At this point I’m very disappointed with how this preorder was handled compared to previous orders not only here but at different stores. At this point I’ve been here over 30 minutes trying to resolve this. I’m thankful the worker Stephanie was as patient as she was with my frustrations, and she’s the only reason I wasn’t more upset than I was. It wasn’t her fault but she did what she could to help me out and it’s the only reason I rated 2 stars as opposed to one. Regardless, for a “curbside pickup” I had to go into the store, get my problem resolved, waste my time, and finally get my game before I left with no steelbook since apparently that’s being shipped now. This has been the most I’ve ever had to go through for a game pickup and I’ve lost confidence in buying preorders from Best Buy. If nothing else, not from this location.
I liked the older set up a more Canadian version which made the best buy different from the Americans but now they made in the same I mean its a good place to buy electronics that your usually looking from (like the grocery store for tech and appliances) but sometimes they dont have a specific thing youll have to go somewhere else and local. But hey there usually good because they make you pay good. Its fair
I had an electronic item that I need to return. I bought it earlier in the day from Best Buy in Palmdale (Ugh..dont go there), dirty, lots of vacant shelves and super crowded, and a low rating of 2.5. What a contrast with the Santa Clarita store, a rating of 4.2. No hassle returning the item, my clerk was very helpful. The shelves were bursting with merchandise, and one other thing, I had no idea that Santa Clarita was such a clean and shiny city, lots of trees, well maintained roads, lovely homes, shopping galore. I had only passed through Santa Clarita on the freeway, never stopped...now I will.
If youre looking for a phone this is the place to go. they have a wide variety of phones and can set you up with just about any carrier. And their customer service is fantastic! They know the best phones and the best plans. Especially Kai. This guy deserves a promotion I went back a couple of times with questions and he always had the answers.I also bought a gaming desktop here and I got 0% finance for a year. I also bought the geek squad protection plan so I dont have to worry about anything. This place is great. Check it out.
They are like the Walmart of electronic stores. If they have what you need, great, but for the most part they dont have anything specialized. The staff is good at pointing you in the right direction to find a product. The employees at the computer section are not knowledgeable. The TV sales people are well informed and can help you make a good decision but the staff as a whole dont know more than what is stated on a products packaging.
I just bought a new phone with cover protection and Melvin helped me to find my desired phone. He was very nice and helpful and showed me their unlocked phones and explained clearly what would be the best choice for me. He is super helpful even there was something that I thought I should go to customer service to get help for but the girl who was there (I think her name was Ariel) had attitude and could not help me at all, she even couldnt understand what had happen even though I explained it 3 times! But thanks to Melvin who helped me about that issue as well, also there was another lady that I dont know her name but I think she was a manager or something because I saw Melvin asking her questions, she was very nice and helpful. Thank you best buy for having them in your team :)
Very clean. Well organized. Friendly workers. It is a big place for all kinds of electronics and games and DVD, Blue lay and cellphones. Especially cellphone. It has all variety brands and all the phone plan so it is great to compare and get a contract unless regular dealer, very hard to say no and walk out when you do not like the plan...Fast and short line for the cashier.
I ordered a kids tablet promoting that it came with the bumper. I need the bumper because the tablet is for my son. Once I showed up to do the curb pick up on the box stated what it was missing but it didnt say it was missing the bumper. I went back and they told me that on the box it said it was missing the bumper which no it didnt and he said unfortunately they couldnt give me a bumper (case) and that they didnt carry them he said if I wanted a refund Im very disappointed with the service at this best buy I have never had a issue with the one in Oxnard ever. Just warning anyone that buys there before you pay for your product make sure it comes with everything that it states it comes with.
Best Buy will always be the #1 technology store for me. This is because of their vast selection of items and excellent customer service. I had just bought a used computer from this store. When I found out that it didnt work, I brought it back and they happily replaced it, no questions asked. Every time I come here, I am greeted at the door with a smile. The employees here are always smiling and happy to help you find whatever you need. Thats what it is all about.
I bought an open box tv from here, a Samsung 8k for $1,600. We were really excited for this buy! Seemed like a great price, especially since they said it only had minor scratches and wasn’t missing any pieces. We asked several times to make sure that the only problem was the scratches, and they assured us that was the case. Turns out it was missing the remote and a connector cable. Talked to them to see if they could help us out, maybe replace the cable or discount a new tv for the inconvenience. We brought the tv, and they inspected it thoroughly to make sure we didn’t keep any pieces. Scoffed at this since they did not check it that well for the previous person who returned it, they would have known some items were missing. Anyways, turns out the backlight wasn’t working either. They sold us a tv that did not even turn on for $1,600! just returned it. Such a disappointment.
HORRIBLE, RUDE and refused to honor their own company wide policy! I have been to many BB locations and this is by far the worst. I have had several bad experiences at this location but my most recent takes the cake!Yesterday they refused to price match an iPad I bought last week that is now on sale (for $50 less) at both Amazon.com and Wallmart.com both of these are sold by the vendor (NOT a 3rd party) and there are pick-up in store or free shipping options. When I bought it 8 days ago I was told if it goes on sale at BB or any of the eligible price match locations within 14 days they would credit me back the difference so when I found it on sale yesterday I promptly returned to the store. I spoke to 5 different customer support people, 2 claiming they were managers. The first lady was calm and nice and at least tried to help me but each new person that got involved was more and more rude until the last manager was basically yelling at me right in front of other customers and employees. Long story short they refused to honor their own price match guidelines and not only that they were incredibly rude to say the least. I felt insulted and even attacked for simply asking them to honor their own written policy. Almost an hour later I walked out of the store while they glared at me as if I had done something wrong... I will return the iPad since I am still well within my return period and not only will I buy this product somewhere else I will no longer support or shop at this location or any BestBuy for that matter.
The computer section had four workers that were only able to assist One customer all together while other costumers were standing around . Even tried asking for assistance and was ignored like we where not even there . Long story short we went to Walmart and costomer service was great and we got a good deal on a monitor
I came in to the Geek Squad with what I thought was a fairly simple phone problem. I came to get my phone fixed. I was drawing the night before and went on google to search for what to draw using my nexus 5x phone. Then I found a picture I wanted and I clicked on it three times. Then my phone shut off and wouldnt turn on again so I tried to turn it on five times. The worker at best buy tried to turn on my phone and use a special charger for it. He told me the motor does not work and he said the power button and the other buttons do not work. A phone does not have a motor its not a bloody steam boat. He would have to open up the phone to find out whats wrong with it further and he told me to go to You Break It We Fix It. And we werent about to go there since thats not a good place either.
Received great service from Julie in the Apple Department, however, when she turned me over to the Best Buy Employee to finish my purchase thats when the service went sour. She was great, Best Buy Employee lacks complete customer service skills. Rather than through that Best Buy employees name out there, Im waiting to here from Best Buy customer relations so I can explain my experience.
I have done many store pick ups here these past few months. I am welcomed every time I enter the door and the associates all have smiles. The store pick up associates are very friendly, they make an easy shopping experience even easier by acknowledging me and taking care of my needs quickly.
I bought a LG washing Machine around a month ago . Today we ( me and my family members ) went to BestBuy to buy a TV for our home, we wanted to get inside but their employee told us that we need to first get an appointment . We didnt take any appointment when we went last time to buy Washing Machine. Also , the most hurting thing was the way that employee told us that we need to take prior appointment , we feel like we are baggers and asking free stuff . Too bad , if we dont need items sold at Best Buy , we would never go there .
Brick and mortar supported by live expertise matters. I recently bought a 4k TV. I did my research online before going to Best Buy. I found a nearby salesman and walked him over to the TV I wanted. I said, Were buying a TV today. We are interested in this TV unless you can convince me there is a better TV at this price point. The salesman graciously and patiently showed me another TV $50 cheaper with better features and identical picture quality. We walked out with the best TV for the price and I was grateful for the help and convenience. I am thankful there is a Best Buy with caring knowledgable associates in my community.
Great place to find whatever I need or want. I would recommend anyone this Best Buy to go and really ask for help of any kind and you will be helped to the best. Telling it with my experience so many times. Staff is very helpful and I have been going to this place for quite some time.
I dont know what it is about this store but every time I go there I walk out with something new. My intention are always just to look at the new tech, yet there salesmen will show me something new and I just buy it.On the service side, the Geek Squad does an excellent job when they remote in or when talking at the counter however when it come to I house service or complex issues its hit or miss. Overall Im pleased with the Company and probably should buy check to see if its a good time to get back into the stock.
Curbside pick up sucks, they deliver products without asking for an ID.When I recently went to pick up my item they said, they accidentally delivered it to someone, and now they want to investigate the issue and I never got a call from them.Thats not at all cool Best Buy.
They were not able to honor the phone insurance policy we purchased with the phone-- and only told us that after waiting for about 45 minutes and after talking with the Geek Squad several times. We DO have -the possibility- of calling in to receive the replacement phone: IF their system is working, IF we pay a service charge that may be equal to, or greater, than the cost of the original insurance amount and we wait several weeks for the replacement phone. The Geek Squad member made it clear that their system is often down and there is no guarantee that calling their support service will actually be successful either.However, we are welcome to purchase a new phone and new insurance- which will replace the old phone immediately.
Although I havent had the best experience in the past, the team at Best Buy is incredible. I had a problem with my laptops frame and they went out of their way to help me find one that works best for me! Theyre easy to work with in terms of returns and are very willing to help.
My husband had bought a Samsung phone less than a month ago and it wad hanging issues. We called Samsung who gave us terrible service and just told us to get it fixed at the nearest u break I fix. We called them and they just offered a software update which both my husband and I knew wasnt the issue. Dissatisfied with these options were decided to go to Best Buy and see if we could just return the phone. If this phone had been a car, it would have been a lemon. Anyway, at Best Buy not only did were have people willing to listen and look into our phone issue but theyre amazing helpful manager Bryce even offered to exchange it since we had outright bought the phone and it had been less than 30 days. Everyone was super helpful something I guess phone etiquette is lacking these days. I normally dont go into a retail store, its just not the millennial way, but considering the service and care were got, Id gladly head into this Best Buy. Cheers guys. The new phone had made my husband a very happy man.
If your looking to buy a computer, just go to Frys Electronics. They have a wider selections, especially for those who are looking to build a custom computer. For anything else such as headphones, TVs, washing machines, etc. Best Buy will do for you.As for the employees. They are great! Very friendly and helpful.
This place is horrible and don’t buy there stuff, they did not let me return something because of there awful 15 day return policy, like what place has such an awful and short policy, it’s pathetic, I received a gift keyboard and was not able to exchange it when it was opened but brand new and in the box and had the receipt and everything. I will not be purchasing anything from Best Buy till I receive better service or some kind of pass for this because this unaccepatable.
Great location, nice employees. Everything appears well organized. Some of their computer post section is kind of dead but I dont buy parts from them anymore. They could use more phones on display and a larger PC gaming section. Im surprised they have a large section of DVDs Blu-ray and standard CD music albums. The TV section always makes me want to buy one, they know how to show them off.
Best Buy will price match legit online pricing such as Amazing Prime so come here before buying online. Support local jobs. I bought a printer for the price listed on Prime. Just show the cashier your cellphone and they will take care of the rest. I bought a TV before the holiday pricing last year and they gave me a month to come back and take advantage of any credits available from promotional pricing. My TV went on sale and I saved $200!Im actually gonna shop online and then go to Best Buy for price matching!!!

I also miss when this particular Best Buy had two full aisles (almost front to back) filled with amazing books, as well as free-floating displays of more great books.There used to be an Epson printer rep who had such a great personality -- and his honesty was so apparent. Around that same time, I remember other super nice store associates who made if fun to shop at this Best Buy.The store just feels different. OH! HOWEVER, Ive noticed returns are lots, lots faster. THATS good!
Knowledgable associates. Bought my phone there and the mobile employee that helped me helped me make a great decision when he clearly saw that I was struggling. Shout out to you, Spencer! I am in love with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 10+! Highly recommend going to Best Buy for your mobile needs.
I like Best Buy. They stand behind their products and with the Geek Squad to take care of your computer needs you cant beat Best Buy. I have bought all my familys computers there along with thing else electronic. Great store, havent gone wrong with anything weve bought there.
When I walked in there are around a dozen employees just standing around staring at the floor rather than engaging customers. When I came up to a gentleman to ask him a question he made me feel like I was wasting his time and he had better things to do. After he answered my question I saw he quickly got on his phone to check text messages.
This best buy is huge. They have great over all selection and the employees have always been super nice and eager to chat with us to help us find whatever were looking for. Recently we went in and started to talk to one of the Samsung phone guys about the Google phone. Knowing we werent ready to make a purchase yet but just wanting to gather information on it. He chatted with us for easily 30 minutes about the benefits of it vs the new I phone and the Samsung phones. He was very helpful and I wish I could remember his name. Weve always had amazing customer service when we go in there though.
Best Buy is expensive and has a terrible return policy. Where most places have the standard 30 days, theirs is 15 for everything. I can understand for computers and such but on a TV mount that was never opened? I took it back at 17 days and they acted like they were doing me the biggest favour in history to get store credit instead of nothing back. Ridiculous. Im glad to browse their but I will be buying on Amazon or at Wal-Mart or pretty much anywhere else.
While not the lowest prices they do offer sales once in a while with lower prices. The last big electronic retailer where you can sample actual product where Amazon has taken over. Almost always a sales person nearby ready to help. Big variety of products and appliances.
Im only giving this place 5 stars, because of this specific sales rep that actually step up, offer assistance and gave us his honest opinion so we could take a decision. While there were other 4 sales rep just hanging around talking to each other just completely ignoring us for over 30 min. Unfortunately I cannot remmeber his name, early 20s, black polo shirt, black hair... Ill go back to this place just for this guy. And look for him son I can actually highlight how job is supposed to be done.
A very long and frustrating experience with a TV set I bought at this store back in 2018 almost got me to the brink of throwing the dam thing at their store front was solved with a phone call and an email to the store manager Mike Kugel and Kim her VP.....I ended up buying a much better set, that costed me 3 times the previous tv purchase, but it was all because I was understood and treated.....Thanks again.PS, what most of us dont understand is that been on survival mode most corporation had let go professional, experienced and more expensive staff and replaced them with some although most try to help, not to par with what we used to experienced in years past.....be patient, its hard for all of us now, let us not lowblow just because we have the buck at hand

This is probably the worst company to buy stuff from. We bought a phone in November and was convinced to re-open our Best Buy credit card. So when I went to pay the credit card, I was told that they do not accept payments from anyone else except from the account holder. Since the card was in my wifes name, I was not able to make the payment. So I walked over to the citibank across the street and was told that the citibank branch does not accept credit card payments as well. Moreover the customer service lady at best buy did not appear to know anything about the cards or about customer service. I was greeted with blank stares and a simple we cannot help you look. Talk about service in this day and age!
Was in & out in no time. Stephanie was working at Customer Service counter informed me she was currently assisting another customer but stated she would start my return until the customer returned to the counter. I appreciate the attentiveness of Stephanie and glad I decided to return the item today as I was contemplating going another day.
Really like this store. I had my children go look at Petco while I shopped for a movie. Good thing, 3 teenagers came in and robbed the store. Cut the wire to an iPhone and ran out. Sucks for these stores, happened at the Apple store, a week before. I feel bad for these stores.
I feel dead inside after the experience at this store I suffered through today, 10/9/2018. I called this store on 10/7/2018, got ahold of a call center that handles basic phone calls for their physical locations, asked about the return policy, asked about the eligibility of my order since it was a few days past the return window closing, was advised by the gentleman that he would reach out to a member of store management for me, he came back to me about 10 minutes later, and told me that the manager approved an exception for me, with a 15% restocking fee, and in-store credit only. I thanked the representative for his time, and that is Part 1 of this nightmare I endured.Part 2 begins when I drive 40 miles to the actual store since I live in the boonies. I make my way to the customer service desk. I follow my usual routine of politeness and explaining everything, advised the rep that the customer service rep I spoke to on the 7th had advised me that a manager approved it. The manager handling Geek Squad/Customer Service heads over to me, and explains that they wont be doing the return for me, regardless of what I was told in the past. I tried to politely argue my case, explaining the details that led me to make the trek to the store, and he just shrugged me off, told me to reach out to phone customer service again.I did just that from within my car in the parking lot. Was eventually connected to another manager in-store. I went over everything with her. I tried my hardest to be polite, but she became exceptionally condescending to me, and at one point put the call on hold without warning and walked away from the call. I waited 5 minutes with no response from her, so I called the store back, waited 20 minutes to get back in touch with her, and she just gave me some nonsense to obfuscate the fact that she legit just walked away from the call when I wasnt just accepting that they wouldnt help me despite the assurances I had received on 10/7/18. That really upset me, and I told her that walking away from a phone call with a customer was terrible customer service. She actually began laughing at me at that point, and I asked her why she was laughing at me, and if she thought that was really appropriate to do to a customer instead of attempting to empathize with them. At that point, she became extremely combative, and hung up the phone call.Ive worked a lot of customer service jobs in my time. From a cashier at convenience stores to customer support at a call center for a major tech company. I know how to treat customers, and I especially know how to treat them when theyre having a bad experience. Laughing at them or walking away from a phone call never came up in the decade Ive handled customer service. So, why does a manager at a major electronics retailer think its okay?Im just sick to my stomach because I loathe having any sort of confrontation with retail workers, because I know all too well how frustrating certain situations can be. I try to make it easy for them because of that. Im beside myself with disappointment because I was legitimately told that everything was good to go for a return exception for an order I had placed. Instead of getting that squared away? What I enjoyed instead was being laughed at, ignored, and I actually had the strangest thing shoved in my face today! So, Best Buy has three tiers of service depending on how much you frequent their stores, and I was told that I should be grateful that my own return window was so lengthy, and I balked at that, because that is solely because I give them my money instead of shopping at Micro Center, Frys, Amazon, or Gamestop! Its a benefit that is earned, and not a good will gesture to extend out a return period if such an extension correlates to spending time & money in their stores.So, you know, I was totally treated like trash today, and Im just not feeling too happy to have been such a loyal customer of Best Buy for practically my entire life if Im gonna be treated so poorly by a member of management.
My son got a fancy gaming computer, the kid that helped us was really nice. I know nothing about computers and he walked us through everything quickly and dumbed it down for me😁 overall good experience and my son said he checked the pricing online and it was a good deal compared to other places.
A fine place to buy electronics. I went in for some car speakers. Sales person was super helpful, letting me open the boxes to see if the speakers would fit an older car mounting. Not a single one did. Oh well. It would have been nice to have more boxes of product down where I could reach them instead of being only accessable by ladder.I would have liked the car audio install area to be more accessable. Theres an area on the floor, but they have an install area. Had I been able to go there I think they could have told me how to mount newer speakers on older mounts.If you get the right person, youre good to go. Luckily I did.
This has nothing to do with this store in general, just the business as a whole. I ordered a Sharp hi-fi component system, for a hefty price in my opinion. The day after it is delivered, I open it to find it doesnt work. When I call customer service for assistance, two idiots babble and waste my time before the second tells me Im going to have to return it.For that cost I dont know how I am receiving a defective product, with absolutely no help from customer service. I wish they didnt employ idiots for their help line. It makes me never want to shop from them again.Worst customer service ever. After I return these I will probably never shop from them again.
The only reason they even got a star is because Sandy is nice, and zero is not an option. The corporate customer service sent me on a fools errand by lying to me that i could pick up several parts that were crucial for an emergency business operation. They had mistakenly been ordered for shipping, but i called and spoke with their 800# who said the order could be augmented on site at a store location. Thinking i would be able to trust their statements, i drove an hour to a store that had them, since the first one only had a single drive. Through 112 degree heat and traffic, only to be sent away with an empty sorry from shiftless hollow eyed hourly employees. Thank you for causing loss to my business operations, never will i shop here again.
The products are rarely in stock. They will tell you theyve located the item somewhere else and you will receive it the next day. That is so far from the truth. Not only did I not receive it the next day, but it was the Wrong item, when I did. Then they told me that the wrong item was on back order and that it wouldnt be available for another month. Of course I cancel that order and will never order from them again.
Kinda hard to get to from the beaten path, parking is a bit of a hassle. But once I went straight in and found the fitness watch I wanted, I had to pry to employees apart to have them get someone to open the case for me. You see, the case is right up front, facing the registers. So they definitely saw me. Associate comes, unlocks the case, and gets out the watch and walks me to a register and checked me out.It wouldve been nice if the watch had an extended warranty plan available. 😒
I always shop Best Buy for electronics, appliances and accessories before anywhere else.Their associates are well informed and very helpful to get you what you need, sometimes not exactly what you wanted. For me, as a salesperson most of my life, that is very professional shopping experience.
Ive had my issues with best buy in the past, every time caused by another company. Due to account issues with AT&T, and faulty product from another company, they were to be blamed. However I watched as they fought for an hour with AT&T services so I could qualify for an ongoing promotion, and I even had my faulty protector replaced and installed with a spare they found outside a box dues to extenuating circumstances with my products warranty with another company. Either way, they fought tooth and nail for my issues to be fixed, and that was amazing in its own right. Highly appreciated and recommended.
Lots of electronics and technology in here but... thats all there is to say about Best Buy. You come to this store when you *need* something same day or it is too big to ship cheaply off Amazon. The staff couldnt care less that youre in there walking around and the music section is always scattered.
Some of the associates are quite pushy, if they arent just standing around talking to each other, and loss prevention will follow you if you are the kind of person who just likes to browse the selections. This coupled with the mainly unhelpful staff (except that one) give this store an especially creepy atmosphere. The overpriced consumer electronics doesnt improve the situation.
I called 888 bestbuy as well as the local store to very they would match a price at newegg. I told them it was a two day sale and I didnt want to drive to the store if they wouldnt match. They verified as long as I could show them the add all was good. I got the the store and then they wouldnt match because limited sale.
Had a great Black Friday experience here by COMPLETELY skipping lines!Protip: buy your items online when the sales goes live, but select in-store pickup when you select each item to put it in the cart. They had my order ready for me in an hour, I walked in, walked straight up to the pickup counter, showed my ID, then left the store with my items. I also managed to snag a Mario party bundle that was sold out in Target, Walmart, band gamestop. Best buys online shop said it was sold out and not in store, but I asked the employee for a copy i saw behind the counter and they had two left.I got great deals while skipping the line that wrapped around the store and people looked on in bewilderment. Easy peasy Black Friday shopping!
There is a reason that Amazon is winning. This store is regularly out of stock of things I seem to want. When you checkout they try to get you on a mailing list. Floor people generally only look stuff up in the computer and dont know the tech. Too bad - because I used to like to browse around but its just too frustrating anymore. Amazon will get my business instead.Edit: I went back to shop there and I regretted it. While browsing I was accosted by sales associates who asked if I needed any help - twice over a matter of 3 minutes! I had to leave.
Exchanging at Best Buy, even with a paid protection/install plan, was terrible. I will never buy another thing through them again. Forget their business and do your shopping with a company like Costco.The process of returning two broken televisions to them was not fun. Two replacements between November 2017 and April 2018. Difficulties throughout each exchange and installation.
I was panic-stricken because I had a deadline to complete 16 hours of tests for my new job and my computer said it could not download the modules. I called Fed Ex to rent a computer at 36 cents a minute!!! and the library where I could only work for 2 hours.My son told me to go to Best Buy and buy a new PC. I went to Santa Clarita’s Best Buy where Alexis Zalaya, Microsoft Expert, helped me. As I was deciding on what to buy, a new monitor, speakers, tower, and so on, he questioned several times why my home computer didn’t work and assured me that it should work (Lenovo IdeaPad). He suggested I go home and get the computer and come back for him to check it out.Guess what? He was able to get the functions I needed to work, and I left the store grateful to a fine young man who helped me without my having to pay a dime. You can be sure when the holidays come around, the majority of my gift purchases will be at Best Buy, Santa Clarita, CA.Thank you once again, Alexis Zelaya, for your kindness. I know I cannot blame the entire store, but I was treated rudely by one of the employees. I asked him for some help with comparing TV systems, but it seemed to bother him that I was asking these questions. He must have been having a bad day or had some reason behind it. Upsetting.
Good place to get electronics and parts. I come here all the time for my tech needs. Although they are a bit expensive compared to other places.Quick story: I went to Wal-Mart not to long ago to get a Sata power cable so I could add another hard drive to my computer. The poor high school girl in their tech department looked at me as if I was speaking another language. I quickly left and came to Best Buy to ask for the same Sata cable and they knew exactly what I was talking about. Thanks for the help!
I am solely writing this review on the manufactures warranty of a Samsung refrigerator I purchased at Best buy Valencia (Still within manufacturer warranty) The whole digital panel is off, the ice maker and water dispenser is broken and I have been trying to get it repaired since July . Reported the problem with Geek Squad over 2 months ago. They have sent a third party company called active appliances three times and every time they said they have to order The part they never call me back to update me with status.I dont even know whats going on... I have gotten to store and I have spoken to the Appliance manager Rick Murillo, who is very well aware of my case. He has been extremely helpful in escalating the problem and has shown sympathy with my concerns however no matter how much he tries to escalate or attempt to get my issue resolved , no one contacts me. Rick told me that as a policy rule if an appliance breaks within manufacturer warranty and if three attempts for repairs have been made in 2 months the consumer is entitled to a brand new Exchange. My last escalation was Monday (labor day) I was told that the case manager was going to call me. its Thursday now and no case manager has reached out to me. It is beyond disappointing as a consumer how you purchase an expensive product which ends up veing a lemon and nobody wants to take accountability of the situation.
Worst experience ever!!! You better get a membership at castco and buy your electronics over there. They are a litlle cheaper too.But let me tell you about my experience:Bought a tv from this store and schedule the delivery and installation through them. The day of delivery the store manager Stephanie calls me to let me know they dont have that tv and it will take a week to find another one. I have to mention the tv I purchased was in the store the day i did it. Actually there were 3 available in that store. So its obviously that they oversold that product.To continue Stephanie found another similar tv but in order to install it the day i scheduled i will have to pay extra for that tv wich was double price. So you get an ideea now how they increase their sales. I asked for a refund!Very bad experience. I used to be A Best buy customer! Not anymore!
They did not price match a product that was sold and shipped from Amazon. The manufacturer SKU has a different letter at the end of the SKU for what region/country they sell to. This letter was different than the one that was being sold on Amazon for the exact same item specifications. This Best Buy is unwilling to be competitive to combat online retailers and will shortly follow Circuit Citys outcome. Great timing as well to short their stock BBY.
Customer service needs improvement. I walked by several customer service reps. looking for an item noone asked if I needed assistance. Finally, I asked a youngman and he tried to act as though he didnt see me. I said, sir can I get some assistance? He said he was helping a cutomer when clearly I saw him talking to a co worker. Not Good at All :(

2021-11-20I always go to this Best Buy location if I need anything electronics related. The staff is always super useful and nice. Ive been trading-in a lot of unused tech recently, and today Brandon helped me and was super helpful and made an effort to connect with the customer. I bought headphones today that were $100 off and he talked to me about how he just bought them too and how much he loves them already.

2022-01-16I can explain why i give 3 starsThis story just happen to meLast night i purchase a open box excellent by online in this store santa clarita cause this store showing is available just the only one because the hp omen 16’1” ceramic white no more selling new one.So i decide to buy from online first from last night, and i’m so excited to pick up the laptop the next day.Afternoon about 11am i’m calling my order to make sure my order is it ready to pick up, and i know it’s my email showing not ready to pick up yet so he say wait about an hour to wait update and just call back after an hour he said.Then i just decide to drove there about an 53min from ventura.After arrive there i’m so confident to pick up my beautiful laptop.But in the front pick store he’s name is james he said your order item it’s not here it’s in pasadena he said.And i’m like what i really sure the laptop it’s is here and open box.He said to me to cancel the order and you can pick up same day in pasadena.I’m like really want that laptop, but why it’s so confusing for this sytem.And i talk to james it’s okay, i just walk to laptop area to see open box, and after i check it’s look like a spec what i want but weird it’s that box hp omen with the wrong sticker the sticker said ROG and someone help me out it’s name crunch i think tall guy white short hair blonde, his very patience to help me to open that box for me cause i wonder the colour is ceramic white. After he open it is ceramic white! I’m just so happy cause him. And i purchase again then cancel my online order.So my opinion please taking care my order in online and please double check the order don’t say if the item it’s not here. I’m just kind a little disappoint. But thanks to the guy the name it’s crunch.

2022-06-01Probably my last transaction with Best Buy today and never dealing with them ever!Placed an order online, had it for curbside pick up. Checked-in once I arrived at the designated curbside parking and got a confirmation they will be out as soon as the order is ready… waited, 5, 10, 15 minutes and no update, called their customer service line, asked if someone is working in their curbside pick up, “customer service rep.” just hanged up! 20 minutes after, walked into the store only to be told that their system is down! How convenient?!Never gonna put my money in this business again!

2022-05-16It all depends on the salesperson. Some are very knowledgeable and make it a great experience but every once in a while you get someone who just doesnt want to be there or doesnt know the product and makes the whole experience miserable.Purchased a TV, great experience! Went back a week later to get a phone and I like i was a huge bother. I knew the phone i wanted and the accessories but was getting excuses because the store was closing in a half hour they wouldnt have time to process everything. Im spending a $1000 on a phone and you cant process a sale in 30 minutes?

2022-03-24Sold me a washer and dryer that not only wasn’t in stock but also not manufactured . Delivery appointments were rescheduled so many times until I went to the store. Waited another month and it was rescheduled again. Had to go back to the store and was informed by the manager that they don’t have the item and I can change my order to a different brand. So I changed the order and on the delivery date , I was informed by the technician that he would be able to install it. He got so disrespectful with my husband and told him that he will leave the machine on the street. Finally after an hour going back and forth with his manager , it was installed . No one followed up on my complaints . Horrible customer service. I had the worst experience . Will never purchase anything from here again.

2022-04-05Actually a great experience here. Ive spent tens of thousands of dollars at best buy over the years. But I had gotten a Samsung tv that had a weird line on it when I opened it up. They took the TV back and apologized. They even took a small amount off the purchase for the inconvenience. They helped load the TV into the car and were super positive and helpful the whole time. Having had to deal with new egg returns this past holiday for bad products z I have to say best buy at this location was doing an awesome job. I included a picture of that annoying line. They were more than helpful.

2022-06-21Bought a washer and dryer from them along with installation. Made it super clear it would be installed up stairs. Since then weve had a parade of installers come to our house, instantly say, I cant take this up the stairs and leave. Its been over a week now and were waiting on the next ones to give a tour of our house for no reason. At this point its just disruptive and pathetic. Chances are we will be doing laundry at a laundry mat for a month before telling them to just take it back so we can purchase from a place that actually does installation. If you have stairs in your house do not buy from them. Ill change the review if they actually manage to make good on the contract.
