We had called earlier in the day to get prices for week long stays due to the fact that we are currently homeless because of a house fire that took out our power line a month ago. When we first spoke to them the person had not mentioned anything about a $200 fee for locals. We went through Priceline and paid, the money was taken off of my card, and we went to check in. I apparently had the pleasure of being checked in by the manager, who proceeded to tell me about the $200 and said without it she would not let me, my one year old son, and my husband stay. She refused to work with us in any way and we had to fight with Priceline and Baymont customer service just to get our money back, as well as be forced onto the street for the night because that had been all the money we had at the time and the refund wouldnt be processed for at least 1-3 days. Absolutely horrendous customer service and never going to even attempt to stay there again.
Positive: Worst experience its was filthy from entry to halls & room. door was broken and half stuck shut. I went back, asked for return, didnt stay. I was told Id get refund but never received it. It looked nothing like pictures, totally misrepresented. So awful Negative: everything. so so very dirty.
This hotel is temporarily closed. Had booked this hotel weeks ago and I’m out here for a wedding. Upon arriving at the premises to check in, all doors had signs that said do not enter not safe to occupy. Turns out weeks ago the city had shut down the hotel and the hotel failed to cancel all the reservations.
Positive: Sheets looked relatively clean, internet worked. Negative: Phone did not work Construction sheet rock dust flakes in the corridors, stairs Tub was outright dirty with discoloration, did not drain well Headboards had white spots all over that could be wiped out Sofa, carpet stains Paint flaking off in bathroom
Positive: The staff was definitely More than willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable Negative: At first glance it was a little intimidating to be honest. But once we got to our room I was very satisfied. It might need a little tlc but its obviously in the middle of renovations. I would definitely stay again
We were not aware the entire hotel was an active construction site when we booked. There was no mention of this ANYWHERE when we booked, despite the management insisting it was posted at the desk and online. Booking.com still has zero mention of such. Had we known, we would have stayed elsewhere. No apology was given for this at the front desk (once we were finally acknowledged) for this lack of information and we were still required to pay full price for a room, no offer of a discount. We were not able to cancel and find a place elsewhere without having the full night charged either. This was a horrible bait and switch from what is shown on the website.Due to the construction, there was dust everywhere. There was no access to the back lot, meaning we had to park almost clear across the property from our room and them carry our luggage up a flight of steps. the hallways are half torn apart with missing ceiling tiles and scrapped off paint. It was like a set of horror film.
I stayed here on a recent trip to California. Although it may appear dated from the exterior, I found the rooms were quite nice with comfortable clean beds and bedding, and a fridge and microwave. The night staff Kayla? or Kylie? Sorry I forget. Was extremely polite and courteous and very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and was well organized. This location offers two different late checkouts. One for 2 p.m. and one for 5:30 I believe the 2 p.m. is $20 or $25 extra or you can stay to 5:30 for $35 extra which was with the option we chose. As someone who travels a fair bit, and I usually travel well into the night, a late check-out it seems to be the biggest issue. Most hotels / motels do not offer anything later than one hour past the regular check out time without paying for another day.The later check out options here literally changed our entire trip, as we were able to get well rested and I still went down for breakfast after 2 hours sleep and then went back up and had another 6 hours sleep and then slowly got ready and headed out on the highway late. This may not be important for everyone, but if you like to travel late or find yourself on the road at 2:30 or 3 in the morning and need a place to stay, this can be a real lifesaver and I would highly recommend this location for anyone travelling near Redding / AndersonAgain, the rooms are much nicer than the place appears by its dated exterior, which I believe is going to be undergoing renovations. A bonus is that its literally across the street from the gas station / convenience store for those items you can microwave. Theres also an indoor pool, and vending machines. Thanks again Kayla! ? Kylie? and I hope you like your souvenir Canadian money.
I booked the suite, paid for the suite, they sold it to someone else, put me in a gross room that was not a suite, did not refund the difference and said there was nothing they could do because they were sold out. Worst hotel experience on the most uncomfortable bed ever
Checked in to our room that we booked in advance. We went off pictures that were on website. Never again!! The hotel looked nothing like the pictures!! The room was filled with strong smoke and all carpets were filthy not to mention bedding was dirty and no screen on a 2nd story window. The stairs and the hallway leading to rooms were falling apart and dirty. I checked in and checked out 15 mins. Later. By far the worst hotel Ive ever experienced. Staff was understanding and gave us and others a full refund.
This place is awful.I checked in there was no soap in the shower, no blow dryer, had to go buy my ownFan on ac/ heater didnt work. I had to clean the floors. The front desk told me it would be taken care of, but when I got back the next evening my room was untouched. Completely useless at the front desk, she made zero effort for anything.
Unfortunately this stay wasnt good, we used to stay here a lot, we got the hot tub suite and there was dust on the window seals, half the baseboards were missing, hot tub was not cleaned out, looked like mold in the windows, and found an alcohol cap by the entertainment center, and other little things, when you almost pay 200 for a room I at least want a clean room, we would of left but we promised the kids we would swim.
This place could be really nice. However the decorations are ridiculous and hilarious. Whats with all the gold and the craziness out on the pool patio? Its not very clean either and should definitely clean the cob webs from the sky lights. Staff is friendly and beds are comfortable. A great place to stay but definitely needs updated.
The pool was nice and the staff was great, but the room was not quite what we were expecting. There was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom where it looked like there once was a heating light. There were extremely old furnishings, carpets, and bed skirts with several stains. It seems like they are in the middle of trying to update possibly? It just didnt feel clean or comfortable. We stayed for the pool use and left the same night.
I stayed at this location a couple weekends ago. I opted for a king suite, for the amenities (jacuzzi tub in the room, etc). We arrived at the hotel, and it was CLEARLY under construction, which was not discussed. We paid over $140 for a one night stay. We got into our room, which was noisy even at 0100. It immediately had an overwhelming smell of chlorine. The toilet still had poop stains in it, and the toilet seat was broken. The jacuzzi tub was lined with a film. We tried to clean it on our own, with no luck. We filled the tub, only to find out it did not work. So we drained it. The couches and chairs were COVERED in stains. I went to the front desk employee requesting some form of compensation. They attempted to do it on their own at the desk but could not successfully figure it out. They directed me to an email for a general manager and said, “they will gladly take care of this for you”. I sent several emails, filled out several “post stay surveys, and called the location several times. When I called them, the front desk employee always stated that the manager was unavailable and they would leave a message. Tonight (7:40 pm on a Thursday) I received an email from a manager stating they will do nothing to compensate and they will not discuss the issue further. They also did not even ASK what issues I experienced in order to even address the issue and make a change. I explained that I was already PROMISED a refund and wished for a phone call at this point. They advised they will not return a phone call and to take it up with corporate at this point. That will be my next step at this point in time.
It was filthy. The carpet was disgusting. The railing on the stairs was broken. A death trap. Tub was very dangerous. No rail or slip guard. I heard the front desk tell a customer to come get a plunger to fix their toilet! No maintenance person on site. Breakfast was gross! Frozen juice and a very small frozen burrito. The sheets were clean and the front desk person was nice. Worst place I have ever stayed!
The place was fine to stay one night while passing through. It was a worn down and tired property. But, the hotel was in the process of a complete renovation, so itll probably be a really nice place in the next several months.I also want to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful.
My boyfriend and I booked a King Suite with a jacuzzi online 4 days in advance. When we arrived to check in, the staff said that the people who were in the suite decided to extend their stay, even though we were already booked for that room. They didn’t notify us of this AT ALL, so we drove all the way out to Anderson thinking we had a place to stay for the night when apparently we didn’t. They offered us a different King Suite that had NO jacuzzi FOR THE SAME PRICE, and we said we don’t want to pay the same price for a less quality room. We asked the staff to book us for a regular queen room and they didn’t listen and still booked us again for the lesser quality King suite! When we tried to correct them again, they said we would have to pay about $100.00 because we hadn’t booked a queen room online in advance. For comparison, the online price is about $60-70. What they should’ve done was first of all, NOT let the people extend their stay because we had already been booked and tell them they can book another room, but not that same one. They also should’ve offered us the online price when we asked for a queen room instead and discounted it for all the trouble they had caused us. Instead, they charged our card for $141 even after we cancelled. DO NOT go to this hotel. They simply screw people over. IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE 5 RATING, I WOULD!!!!!
The staff was friendly. The remodeled room was nice as long as you werent in a wheelchair,,,which was what this room was supposed to accommodate. The shower didnt reach the bench and the microwave and coffee maker were on shelves that were too high to reach. There were no hangers forcing us to stack our clothes on the shelf...that was too high. If I needed access to these things and I was confined to a wheelchair, it would have been a problem. My second issue is the buffet breakfast that was advertised. It is cancelled due to Covid-19. Fine, understood. Then dont advertise it! We were offered a Grab and Go. A small packaged muffin, a frozen burrito (still frozen) and a 4 oz carton of apple juice. No other choices. Our key card never worked more that once, so we had to get it rescanned each time we returned to our room, even tho we kept it away from magnets and cell phones. The room wasnt serviced so the garbage was still full of last nights take out..smelly. No fresh coffee supplies or linens.Really disappointing.
Our room was clean and nicely kept. Overall the staff was friendly but one of the night shift receptionists called at 11:05 pm to inform us that we need to go pay. By mistake they cancelled our reservation for the second day and to fix it they tried calling my registered number which wasn’t receiving calls. We were in the room and no one thought on calling our room to inform us of the situation until 11:05 pm? At the front desk the receptionist told us us twice that we were going to be “kick out” if we did not payed. There was no need to threatened us like that because as soon as we knew of the problem with the reservation, we went to pay. We did not caused the problem. We were unaware of the problem and we were not refusing to pay. While we are waiting for her to run the transaction we witnessed her being rude and loud to another guest. The customer needed to enter the lobby and she was upset that he was in still there. He informed her that that they (his friends) were not aware that the area was closed. As she was rude, the customer just walked away from her! It is very sad how her poor customer skills can bring down the good job done by the rest of the staff.
Property was not as was depicted in the pictures. We stayed here one night and the whole place was full of employees from a company. The room had holes in the wall, missing paint, toilet seat was all scratched up and the coffee pot had not been cleaned out. Place was noisy from all the guys staying there. It was very uncomfortable.
I have mixed feelings for this review. We got the jacuzzi room and I can certainly say it was unlike any room weve had before. It was completely unique, character, and the tub style was the best weve seen yet! However, the jets had not been cleaned properly and when I flushed them before use, there were several bugs that came out. The hotel was definitely suffering from a short handed housekeeping staff, mostly noticed with the debris in the hallway. Along with the obviously not properly cleaned bathroom that still had an empty shampoo bottle on the floor behind the door and hair stuck on tub walls. They do not offer late check-out for this room either, because it is said to be in high demand. So checkout is 11am, but Check-in is 3pm and the room doesnt get properly cleaned, hmm. The room was also connected to the pool (with a cute patio for people to watch their kids in the pool if desired) but it caused the whole room to smell like chlorine. The building is definitely in need of repairs, but by the looks of it, the owner was there the day we left and there was a lot of activity happening to fix things..so hopefully it will be better soon! Staff was nice and even all the sketchy characters outside were polite.
This place was a waste of money. The jacuzzi suite was a joke. The jets barely moved the water and it took way too long to fill up the tub. Where the coffee pot was plugged in starting sparking when we turned it on. The wall had a big hole in it that could be easily fixed but wasnt. And dont light any candles in the or youll be charged 250.00 for so called smocking, they said it was a fire danger. Never have I disliked a place so much. I will never waste my money there again!!!
I was on a work trip and decided to book this hotel for a week for me and my family because the pool was open and available. Overall stay was ok. Friendly staffs. Hotel was still under construction and there was a lot of chipped paint in the hallway where we stay at which was the second floor. However, our room has dirty carpets, in the bathroom there was an old razor left behind by the previous person. I wish the owner and staffs would take care of their rooms and the people who stayed there.
This hotel was one of the worst I have ever visited. The pictures are totally inaccurate. Beware if you book here!!. I had a very bad experience where I booked 3 rooms and pre book for it. Also called the staff at the front desk couple of time just before my arrival to make sure the reservation. After getting assurance still I end up getting 2 rooms because the 2 ladies on the front desk gave the 1 room to some one else. Bad staff co operation. People here are very rude and immature. Even they are not sure about how their system works. PATHETIC !!!!!
I l9ve the pool. The staff didnt wear face coverings last week. This week the red headed guy did. Last week they couldnt find the take a go breakfast. This week I asked for it the night before. The remodeling is making this a disaster area but once it is done it should be much nicer. All the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Beds are comfy
Customer Service without a smile or concern for anything I had Questions about. If you want to see and hear Drama look no further this place has it all, from kicking in guest doors before checkout to no elevator to the top floor and all the Remodeling noise you could ever want to listen to this is your place and lets not forget that the rooms are filthy. Covid-19 must not be a concern in this place because nothing was cleaned prior to our stay... Never again....will I book at this hotel or any hotel associated with the Name. Lost my business for good.
It wasnt all that bad despite the Cockroach the size of a house cat staff was friendly except Elena Elena has appointed herself guardian of the orange juice. So like every morning I walk in to get coffee and like every morning I walk into the dining area where there are several cases of orange juice stacked up and I get one then Elena opened her big mouth basically telling me how dare I just walk in and help myself to an orange juice at this hotel now Im mad also Elena needs to wear a bra. Im leaving today.
Horrific at every level.Terribly unclean, horrible condition including holes in walls, torn wallpaper, inoperative door key, complete lack of security both inside and out. The worst hotel experience ever. Complaint with a corporate customer service rep which was not satisfactory either. I was told I would hear from someone within 10 day!! What the Hell? Find another place to stay.
This hotel was bad. I booked it by looking at the pictures. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures. The hotel was remodeling. We had holes cut in the ceiling for lights. Then they charged us $25 each for my 2 dogs. Charged us over $100 to stay there when we stayed at a hotel in Idaho for alot less and didnt charg for the dogs. So dont judge a hotel by the pictures online.
Do not stay at this hotel. The staff are great (they are brand new and have no idea what theyre dealing with. I feel awful for them). The rooms are disgusting. Pubic hairs, bloodstained wall, cigarette burnt carpets, ripped curtains, holes in the ceilings, bathtubs that you cant use comfortably - just plain nasty. All while drug deals are going on in the parking lot. It is not a safe area.
This place gets better every time we come. Theyre really making nice improvements to an older hotel. The indoor pool and spa are especially nice when its cold outside. Comfortable rooms, continental breakfast (bagged to-go during COVID19), in-room fridge, microwave, tv, and coffee maker.
This place is disgusting 4 nights here and miserable. Garbage cans are over flowing not emptied for 4 days. Pool closed for unknown reasons 116 degrees yesterday. Front desk lafies rude. Breakfast is hortible. I would not recommend!!!Under construction, cant enjoy theyard furniture outside. Hot not in service. The worst place weveever stayed. Cancel our last two nights from this place. Beware of planning to stay here. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Booked a room in advance online for a upcoming trip. Online it showed it had a swimming pool, hot tub and a nice complimentary breakfast bar...When we got there it was right away uncomfortable because of a bunch of guys hanging out drinking beer by the side entrance we had to walk thru them to get inside. The swimming pool was closed, the vending machines were empty, the breakfast was a to-go bag with a frozen buritto and muffin in it. The room numbers on the doors were tape with the numbers written on them. It was just not what the website showed.
Our suite was well used to say the least. There were large stains on the chairs and couch in the living room area, glitter nail polish on the table, tv stand, counter and headboard, and a large patch of marble duct tape on the headboard. The TV system didnt work correctly, and the bathroom was especially worn in. Vanessa at the front desk was the best part of our stay. She was super friendly and helpful. She would be the only reason that we would stay here again!!
We just spent 3 days of a long overdue vacation here. I love this place. They are not doing the traditional continental breakfast. However, in compliance with covid health restrictions, they have put together these hearty bag breakfasts that include all things to provide a healthy, well balanced meal to start your day. You must ask for it specifically. They do not put the bags together ahead of time. Thank you to all the wonderful employees who really provided an at home and welcoming experience we will surely be back to enjoy soon. God Bless and Happy New Year!
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed by far. Not only did they give me keys to a room that someone was already staying in. The whole place smells like a cigarette. There are drug addicts everywhere. And there are bed bugs in the room. I woke up in the middle of the night at 1 am to being bit by a bed bug so I got up and left to go to a nicer hotel down the road. When I told the employees they seemed like it was something they had dealt with plenty of times before and offered me their managers email and told me to take it up with them. Save yourself the money and headache and NEVER go here.
Staying at this hotel was the worst experience Ive had at any hotel. The room was still dirty(pee on the toilet seat) & when I asked for a new room and came back to move my stuff the maid came and started arguing with me & when I got to the new room the maid and 2 men were in that room and I told my husband I dont know why the 2 men were in the room(none of them wearing masks) and the one maintenance man walked away and yelled because I work here. Everyone was rude besides the young women at the front desk and the maid that came the next morning. There was a ton of noise all night long of people yelling & slamming doors and the whole hotel smelled of strong air freshener and cigarettes...it was nauseating. DO NOT STAY HERE
My husband and I stayed in one of the suites. It was very clean and the hot tub was great. The only complaint I have is the size of the tv. It was a little small for the room size hard to see from the bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially the night guy I should of gotten his name for this.
Hotel is a bit rundown and the air freshener scent is overwhelming! The smell in the room was just as strong. Tried airing it out while we went to the pool but it didn’t help. One of the bed’s linens had not been changed which had blood spots on it, fresh, not laundered.Front desk staff is very friendly. The pool is very warm as is the hot tub.
Crackhead hotel for sure, stay away if youre a normal person. Tweakers fighting outside, doors dont shut correctly, walls missing alot of paint, railings falling out of the walls, receptionist inappropriate and rude to guests, jacuzzi was out of order, room was just unacceptable. I have been staying in this hotel since long before it was a Baymont by Wyndham and its never been this bad, it used to be a great family hotel, youre all disgusting who manage this hotel!! I want my money back!
2 days in a row no one came to clean the room, including not emptying the trash remove the used towels, replace with fresh towels r replace the toilet paper. Even went down to front desk 2 mornings in a row just to get fresh towels. Even requested at the front desk to have someone clean the room.
Positive: When we got out of there the next morning. Negative: Dirty, carpet everything was in terrible condition.??/>>>. the lighting was either NOT there or did NOT Shineit looked like some child has tried to paint in different places, with little success. You cannot rate this at ALL
1 star is giving too much. I booked two non refundable rooms for my wedding. I’ve stayed there before usually great. I didn’t have a reason to need my money back. I check in there the first night and our room is disgusting, it smells bad and is just dirty. We check out not even 30minutes later they couldn’t move us to a different room and the power went out. The next night I had booked a suite, we walked up stairs to check it out and it was just as bad as the room we stayed in before. Checked out literally 2 minutes later. The customer service was awful, the rooms were absolutely disgusting. No one has contacted me about our visit. We couldn’t even sleep in the rooms they were so bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere.
The three people that I spoke with at the front desk were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. I like that they provide extra toiletries for free if needed. This hotel is a great budget option to save money and still feel comfortable.
Im here evacuated from my home with my son and grandpa who is handicap. I feel welcome and safe. They look out for you here. Someone was going through my car in the parking lot and the lady at the desk saw her confronted her and called the police. She was caught driving a stolen car. Thank you so much for looking out. I would recommend Baymont to my friends and family.
People hanging out in parking lot in their cars and sitting around on ground. The room was ok but the carpet was dirty. The security door did not lock going into facility and there was riff raff in and out at all hours. In the room a little ways down from us it had people climbing in and out of the window of the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return. Did not feel safe staying there.
Nice enough place but I felt like I got the switch a roo with the room I received. Different then pictured and not either the price. The jacuzzi made a terrible nose when on and they said they check it out. I was in the room waiting for the front desk person to look at it. They lied to me then said its supposed to sound that way. Clearly, if you heard this you would know its not normal. They didnt seem to care what I had to say. I wont do business there again.
Questionable people hanging around all over and in parking lot! I should have been more alert when the front desk lady stated that police patrol often! Felt very unsafe and should have not waited until 3:00am to check out! Room few doors down had traffic in and out all night which disturbed our sleep and caused us to leave at 3:00am! In the parking lot at 3:00am people in cars sleeping and hanging out! Wish the Hotel would review the video to clean up the Hotel atmosphere! Very disappointed guest!
Pretty quiet. Second floor is heavily scented with fake smells to cover up the cigarette smell. People smoke constantly around the hotel. General unclean feeling to the rooms/floors. Chairs cushion in our room was stuck to the base with some sticky substance. Found a spot of old crusty food stuck to our bed linens. Location is within walking distance to shopping. Breakfast was tater tots and sausage with the normal cold cereals and toast. Better than average but no eggs. WiFi was spotty at best.
The staff were all friendly, the beds are horrible. The carpets are filthy. Our room had bent screen, stained chair and garbage left on floor, mold in bathroom. This place needs updated badly. The microwave has burnt marks on door so of you use it, smells like fire. When we checked in front and hallway had very strong cologne smell, as if they were covering something up.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel is clean. If you need anything, they will give it to you and are nice about it without a problem. Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful!! They went above and beyond for us. Glad we stayed there. Best hotel staff!!
Wouldn’t even give a star, we came to visit family and was never told that the whole building was being renovated. So much dust in the air and noise. Also the new manager was a creep. He would follow us all the way to our room and we made it obvious we were uncomfortable. During our rest in the room multiple people came im multiple times to work on stuff.
I was evacuated because of a fire. Grabbed first room I could . It was a decent price. Desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. Toilet in room didnt work. I looked in tank chain was off, so I fixed it. Hand sink faucets leaked, door must have been kicked in at some point. Had to shove to open it. Could see where they had to install new night lock on door. There were knats in the wastebaskets . Lots of homeless traffic. Dog poop everywhere.
The moment i walked through the lobby doors, i was greeted by Ricardo with such an authentic rich and welcoming smile. I could tell he wasn’t following a corporate rule anout courtesy. He was authenticity welcoming me and i felt it. I know i was seen and that really made my stay better than any other hotel experience ive ever had. On top if that he ensured my evey need was met and i did need help with some toiletries i had figotten. And when i checked out, his same aware and authentic way of beingbeas there again. What a joy my stay was. Thanks Ricardo.
We really needed a place to crash and this was, hands down, the nicest place weve had on our whole trip. The price was cheap, got their last two queen beds room, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff too. I didnt give it a 5 due to some run down elements, but I loved the modern furniture and the mattresses were firm and comfortable. I will stay here again. :)
We rented a suite for the jacuzzi. Filled the jacuzzi and when we tried to turn it off the faucet broke. It gushed water and flooded the room. Immediately called the front desk but it took him forever to come up. After 30 mins of the water flooding they finally turned the water off. The front office guy was very rude, stated that it was our fault and that we would be charged damages. We packed up and left. Called today to talk to the manager and he stated that the front office guy told him we had been banging around in the room and that they are trying to determine how much to charge us for damages. The only banging was when my friend fell trying to cross the flooded floor. We will fight this as we do not believe we are at fault.
Ok this place was terrible. Our room was dirty and you could tell they didnt bother to actually clean it. The toilet in the bathroom wouldnt flush. Our room keys wouldnt open the door into the building, and took forever to get the door to read the keys to let us in our room. The bed made a loud noise when we sat in it. ( We both weigh about 130 )The walls where gross. For breakfast they had quite a few options, the toaster didnt work though, the food warmer didnt work so the sausage was cold and the hash browns ( smashed up tater tots ) where also cold. When we woke up and went out into the hall it reeked like pot.The gentleman who checked us out was great though. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was also very friendly when we passed them in the hall.We dont recommend and will never stay there again.
The rooms were clean but were dated it looked like they had remodeled recently but it was more just paint then anything. The bed was stiff but ok for the night and the front desk was super friendly and nice. I would stay here again also the ac unit in the room wouldnt just stay on which was annoying it had to stay on auto so on and off when it got to temp. The walls were thinner so it would of helped with noise from outside if it could have been on the whole time.
Ok so we have stayed here every so often cuz it usually quiet good staff and clean affordable rates. But the last time we stayed in the hot tub suite we noticed there was blood all on the wall behind corner of bed and it looked liked someone got really hurt in the room. Im surprised it wasnt seen when the bedding was changed out. So they need to get back on their game cuz it was not cool. But other than that the breakfast is always good and it was quiet stay
Very deceiving from the photos and when you walk on the whole entire upstairs was filled with the smell of pot. It was very sketchy outside and there was a lot of weird activity from the parking lot and we weren’t comfortable at all with our cars being down there. The beds were hard, water pressure was horrible, and the toilet didn’t even flush. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. I would rather spend more money somewhere then pay somewhat cheap and stay there again. We will NOT be coming back!
The stay was fine, we paid just under 100 for our room that night and the room was fine, then two months later we got charged again for a cancelled reservation.... for the night when we stayed there.... That we didnt cancel because we stayed there that night. But somehow they cant find the check in paperwork proving we were actually there so if you want to get charged twice, this is the place. Good luck, will definitely hit any other hotel than these ones
I cant speak to the accommodations here but their front desk staff was fantastic. We had to evacuate and every place was full, including here. However, Ryan was super helpful and directed us to another Wyndham up the road a little ways. Seriously, he was a life saver.
Employees were GREAT! They were helpful and dedicated to the guests. The owners/management on the other hand not so much. No discount for CARR fire evacuees. The owners appeared to be cheap and more concerned with making money than the appearance, maintenance and security of the hotel. The exterior doors did not lock. Meaning anybody could come into the hallways. To top it off, our room would not lock the majority of our stay, leaving us prisoners of our room or unlocked for anybody to enter. As evacuees, of course we had valuables, we wanted secure. The poor maintenance man tried to fix the lock with spare parts and could only apologize and try to repair again. One can only surmise the owners were much more concerned with profit than the security of their paying guests. We would not recommend!
Appears to be older Hotel with minimal renovations and maintenance. Its hot inside. No to little air handling inside. Room smells as if its been smoked in. Beds dont have comforters, but rather a flat sheet, thin pad or blanket, then another sheet. We asked for extra bedding for the kids, and we were told that they had none to offer. Laminate flooring in room is poorly laid with swollen/damaged joints: it looks bad. Valance over the window is very crooked. There are wall damages and and marks that need painted over and fixed. Bathroom boob light doesnt have a cover over it. Coffee pot looks questionable, and I wont use it. Well see what the complimentary breakfast brings tomorrow.
Absolutely worse stay ever!!!! I was in room 222, I walk into a boiling hot room with a BARELY functioning air conditioner, the bottom dresser drawer was wide open and will not close, the so-called freezer does not work, and I got woken up at 6am to construction being done to the hotel!!! Blasting music, generators, and the sun wasnt fully up yet!!!!
This place is right off the freeway and lots of stuff easily accessible for a small town. The service is great and the price for a pet friendly room was awesome. Plus free breakfast, I stayed at a lot of places and it always seems like if you have a service animal you should be hidden. It was refreshing being able to walk through and not be bothered by bad looks. The only thing I didnt like was the people trying to get a free room by making some stink about an imaginary issue like there TV not working because they couldnt use the remote or just being a jerk to be one. The staff handled it professionally and efficiently which made it even better when it came to price. It was clean quiet and nice and cool in a 100 plus weather. Also I got some really cool directions for hidden out of the way places to visit,bonus....I even met the owners who are really wonderful people.
This place is out of pocket!!! Manage management was so Rudd. Came into my room called me a liar, and I was thrown off the property when I asked for a refund. I spent thousands of dollars there only to be treated like a criminal. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Room service sucked and made me feel like I was wasting there time.
State at this place a couple times. They always seemed really good my girlfriend booked a room through a computer. She paid a little extra because she wanted to get a jacuzzi tub and certain room reserved.we got to the hotel she could not get the room she requested and it was already booked. This was a setback but they did work with us and give us a nice room to try to compensate.he said this was the problem with the reservation service. But according to my girlfriend she says that is wrong because this is what they need to take care of. And maybe misread the reservation. All in all this isnt question. So they will not get five stars for me this time the only reason why I give him four and not lower is because they have been really good in the past so far
First of all, dont go by the pictures rooms are nothing like pictures. I have 2-year kid & I had booked a non-smoking room when I entered the room it smelled cigarettes. When I went to front desk the lady mentioned that I cannot give you any other room this is all I have & just handed over a room spray saying this should help. The hotel is location is next to freeway & seemed like a shady area. I saw numerous homeless & unwanted people wandering in its vicinity & lot of police patrol cars. Also, my friends room window was broken & the window screen was damaged which signifies that there was break-in past. The security lock to enter the premise from side & back was not working so anyone could get in the property without swiping. The card readers were not working for me & several other guests, we had to exchange it several times. The breakfast was very ordinary with very few options. In all, it was the worst experience after paying $120 + taxes per night. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel on our way to Oregon. When we first entered we were impressed by the clean lobby and the inviting looking indoor swimming pool. The service was friendly and nice. We went to our room and noticed several windows on the second floor were open and one had a child gazing out. The laundry room and hallway smelled of stale cigarettes. The room was clean (except the bathtub, which we readily cleansed ourselves). The beds were comfortable. The upstairs hotel guests were quite loud! Sounded like they were bowling with a lopsided bowling ball half the night and yelling the other half. When we complained (due to lack of sleep!) we were informed that three other complaints had been lodged, although nothing had been done to alleviate the problem. The manager at the front desk told me the woman in the room was 8 months pregnant and having Briggs and Stratton contractions. (I guess she was giving birth to a motor). Breakfast was nice. As we were leaving two obvious drug addicts were on the walkway that led to our vehicle yelling and arguing. This hotel could be first class, but it appears to be more of a flop house for addicts, than a nice hotel. My advice is drive past this place. Not worth the low price even.
I liked that they offered breakfast and that they advertised a pool. Two reasons I chose this place, hence the 2 stars...I disliked the uncomfortable sweaty hotness created in the reception room by the pool and the fact that no one cared that it was hotter inside than outside. The hallways stunk and there was no air circulation in the breakfast room...so I turned on the AC.Intolerable....and rude!
Numerous reasons why we did not like this place. #1. Looked like blood on the bedside lamp shade 2. Holes in wall in our room, and not very clean in bathroom. 3. Chair in room had a bunch of gross stains 4. Side doors to hotel did not lock like they were suppose to and was in a bad area. ( with recent attempted abductions of women according to gas station attendant) 5. Very small could barely move around 6. Ac/heater in wall was very loud and just needed to be stabilized. 7. Walls were paper thin could hear everything.
I stayed overnight on a long weekend and the stay was everything as described; room was comfortable and all amenities were present. A/C blew constantly cold throughout the hot summer night. Free breakfast included hot sausages and potatoes, along with the usual array of coffee/donuts/bagels/cereal, and was constantly being replenished. Kudos to all the hotel staff!
I hope theyre rooms are better than the pool.. I decided to have a pool party here for my sons birthday, the girl i reserved with was so nice and helpful. But when i got to the hotel a few days later for the party they werent as nice(it wasnt the girl i talked to on the phone). So i pay them($150 for 4 hours). They say for all my guests to have towels, not too big of a deal.. They he tells me and you need to take all your trash with you so im starting to think what did i pay so much money for? Anyways.. I walk in to the pool room, indoor pool its gonna have AC! NOT! That room was hotter and more humid than outside. It actually felt better outside compared to that. And all food had to be outside. I kinda understand but there was no shade. They had a table with a little umbrella and that was it. So now to the pool... That pool had more chemicals in tIt than any other pool i have ever swam in, in my life. I am not over exagerating when i say this. I am completely surprised our swimsuits and clothes didnt get ruined from all the chemicals. I made the mistake of opening my eyes for a second under water and i had to get out and pour water in them to get them to stop burning. All my guests started leaving early but i wanted to stay to get some type of my moneys worth so i stayed my full 4 hours and once all my guests were gone THEY BROUGHT OUT A HUGE RACK OF TOWELS! once my time was up i had to carry not only a mine and my sons stuff out to my car BUT ALSO ALL MY GARBAGE. $150 and i couldnt even use their trash can. I will absolutely NEVER be going back and dont reccomend this place to ANYONE. Hopefully they have better rooms and better room service becaise their pool experience was horrible.
Worst Hotel stay ever!!!We went here for our 3 year wedding anniversary it seemed like a nice place but the room did not match the pictures online so the owner was very nice and switched us room for the bigger king suite with a jacuzzi unfortunately the jacuzzi did not work so then we had to switch rooms again and the owner told us he would take off $10 for all the trouble. Things we did not like about the rooms bathrooms were too small,no water pressure in the shower, and the beds were super stiff. The inside of the hotel had a strong perfume making it uncomfortable to leave my room. overall not a great stay. Then We got ready to check out the next day and the front desk person was very rude we told her that wasnt the price we settled on and she got an attitude with us. She said Sorry there is nothing I can do, the owner will call you on sunday to fix this. We werent happy with her answer but she ignored us so we left. I waited to get a phone call back never did! I called multiple times and left my name and number and still no call. I am very upset. I do not recommend anyone staying there and I would Never stay there again!!
Had a great stay. the room was clean with no odors. bed was comfy. pleasantly surprised at the breakfast after reading the bad reviews about it--it was fine, no eggs but everything else and pretty tasty. the bathroom was very accessible but the shower head needed a new hook, which was broken.
Staff was absolutely horrible. We went to book a pool party for our kids, and we were told we would have the pool to ourselves for the two hours we booked it for. Went in the day of the party and there was another large party there. Usually, I wouldnt mind but the pool capacity is 25, and we already had 15+ people ourselves, and the other party had a large amount too. The staff was very rude and talked down to us and outright lied to us. We will never do business there again, and we will make sure none of our family or friends do either. If I could give you no stars I would because you dont deserve even one.
I would not wish upon anyone to have to stay at this hotel. Come only if you want to have a horrible experience and see what terrible, lazy hotel management looks like. We stayed here for a week, and after seeing the terrible breakfast the first day (there was eggs advertised, but there were none; the sausage was dry like a desert), we went to the grocery store to buy some food for breakfast for the next days. At a hotel, you should never have to buy your own food if breakfast is provided. We put the food in the mini fridge in the room, and since we were here for an event, we were in a hurry. The next day, we went to get some of the food out of the mini fridge, and realized that our perishable food was warm. It turns out that housekeeping plugged the fridge in the bottom outlet, which didnt work, and destroyed our food. We let front desk know immediately, but the front desk was very busy and the lady said she couldnt come check the fridge. Again, due to the rush for the event, we werent here to follow up with our complaint, but on Friday, the day before we left, we followed up, and the same front desk person had twisted our story and said she offered to come and we said no! This was not at all the case since she was too busy to come. When a guest complains at a hotel, you, as management, should do whatever you can to make that guest happy and to make things right. This hotel wants money so badly that they dont care if their guests ever come back. We wanted compensation for the loss in money to buy the destroyed food, but she said all she could do is buy us a replacement gallon of milk. Too little, too late, since we were leaving the next morning and flying out. Milk is not allowed on the plane, and milk was not the only food that was destroyed.Overall, the hotel stay was trash, seeing the mistreatment we received, and the fact that the hotel is non smoking but still allowed a guest to smoke marijuana. In California, marijuana is legal, but it is illegal to intake it if it is a non smoking facility.NEVER STAY HERE if you want to enjoy your visit to Anderson or Redding. Its a trash place that will ruin your time here.
I had better rooms at a Motel 6. I wish I could give it a half a star. I recently had surgery on my foot and they gave me a room on the second floor. There were no elevators!! The whole building smelled like over used toilet cleaner. The staff was very snotty and the sitting chair in my room was wet.
Quite family oriented good service n the shift leader that runs the front desk. That young lady was very nice n helped me out I give her five 🌟 Ill definitely stay here again Oh n I forgot they have n indoor swimming pool n hot tub. Back patio that you can use the bbqs that r out there. If you feel like bbq. Thank you to all the staff you rock
The room was nice. My only complain was the excersize room. None of the machines are working, there is only 3. And not even any weights. Its locked, you cant even get in with a regular room key. You need to go to the front desk to get the key. And it was very hot in the room, with NO air conditioner to turn on. Too hot in there to excersize anyway. The entire workout room is unusable. Otherwise the hotel was nice.
Im a Wyndham member. I reserved my room before I left Montana. I requested a downstairs, non smoking, two beds, was told no problem. Paying around $200 for 2 nights. When I arrived with my family to check in was told they were booked a d only had upstairs. We went to room and it smelled awful smoke smell. It was a smoking room. Im real upset, they say they can do nothing. The maid handed me to cans of air freshener. My grandson didnt want to be in the room at all. I made reservations so my needs were meet. I will not be back to Anderson Baymont. The bathroom was cleaned with a swipe here and there.I would not recommend this hotel. I payed for more than I got. I would recommend Redding Baymont. We stayed in Redding 6 mo. ago.The pool and breakfast was okay at Anderson hotel.
Affordable hotel. Rooms are partially updated and comfortable. Pool is in a really cool indoor enclosure along with hot tub. Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast--had sausage links and hashbrowns (as well as waffles, cereals, and doughnuts). Sure, its not a 5star place, but would definitely stay again
My wife called the hotel and asked if they do pool parties for people without renting a room. They said no, that if we wanted to do that wed have to rent a room.. So we rented a suite and thought we could have the party in the living area of suite. The online reservation said it was a double queen suite with separate living room, which included a TV, couch, desk, and chair. Even the picture online matched this discription. The room cost 153 plus change. When we got into the room it was not like the discription. It had two queen beds, chair, TV, and desk, but no separate area for these items. Plus they said we could use the kitchen area then charged us 50 bucks extra for its use. Then they charged us 5 dollats extra for each person using the pool not included in our reservation, but who were visiting us. That was an extra 15 dollars. If the halls didnt smell like pot it smelled like a couple dozen broken air fresheners. It was so bad my daughter couldnt breathe. Weve stayed here before, but I guess they changed hands and its really gone down the partially working toilets.
We drove 5 hours to get to this hotel, we arrived 9:30 pm with a lot of bags, stroller and baby. That place don’t have any elevator, it was super hard to get second floor with our stuff. When I went for a swim 9:55pm,a lady from front desk did not let me which is a non sense, in other hotels they let us swim without any problem.. disappointing..not recommended
The hotel was super easy to get to with shopping very convenient if you forgot anything. The staff was very polite and friendly and great to deal with. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast with sausage links scrambled eggs and hash browns with cereal, waffles, muffins and yogurt also available.
Comfortable stay and guest services was accommodating and made me feel very welcome. Small fee to check in early but in comparison to other places in area this an affordable option you can feel good about bringing kids to. Theres a nice breakfasts and also a swimming pool. Coin laundry and clean fresh rooms. All in all a near perfect stau
The ONLY reason Im putting 1 is because the woman that works nights is so kind and does all she can or is allowed to do to make you feel comfortable and have a great experience. As far as the room there was a condom wrapper laying by the night stand and when we had them tell the owner to get somewhat of a discount the owner said she would call me back and Im assuming thats her way of basically ignoring what happened and not trying to make it right beings she hasnt called. I would NOT recommend going there. Drive 3 more miles and go to the Gaia. Its worth the extra 20 bucks
My husband and I stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham in Anderson for a fishing trip. It was close to everything we needed and close to the water. We lost a pair of prescription glasses in the room. Ajay from Baymont made sure to mail the glasses as soon as he read my email on the same day. He made my stay feel stress free. Thank you Ajay!
This place was terrible!!! Upon arrival we opened our room to find tools and materials, like it was being repaired. The hallway smelled like a combo of weed, cigarettes and dirty diaper. When we asked for a different room we had to wait for over 20 minutes for them to clean one- because apparently the rooms arent clean by 3pm. Then when we decided this place wasnt for us- they would not refund our money for the full amount. And this is after they had told us the day before that we had until 4pm to cancel. The owner accused me of making stuff up to get out of the reservation, and laughed in my face when i asked for my money back. Then, we found out that earlier that day the motel had been red flagged by the fire marshall, and that is why the entire place was in a state of disrepair- the entire place was not up to the standards of the California fire code- and they didnt even give us a heads up about it. Overall, bad customer service, bad appearance, bad smell. I hope my bad review ruins their business- because they should be in the business of customer service, not in the business of screwing people over. THey only get one star, because i cant give a zero star rating.
We stayed in the hotel for 3 days while traveling with family. We are glad we did. This hotel, besides being at a great location served our needs very well. My wife and kids loved the breakfast, which had a lot of Variety and rivaled some of the very expensive hotels in quality of service. We could walk to outlet stores across the street, and my kids even walked to the movie theater located at the outlet mall. My kids also enjoyed their great pool every day during our stay. Clean rooms and great customer service was another aspect at this hotel. A lot of open spaces around the hotel and it and overall was very quiet and relaxing. We shopped at Walmart which is located 2 minutes from the hotel. It was a very convenient place to stay. Will definitely stay here again!
The room was satisfactory but the customer service I received from Amanda at the front desk was phenomenal. After my stay she took the time to help me with a billing problem. She went far above and beyond during a frustrating situation. She was very polite and professional while showing concern for my dilemma. Thank you Amanda!!!
Disgusting, dirty, dirty ,dirty. It didnt look anything like i saw online. There were cockroaches and ants in the room and the water flow in the shower was next to nothing. Very over priced. I chose this place because I didnt want to stay at a roach motel. I wanted to stay at a hotel and didnt mind spending a bit extra, What a night mare. Again dirty, dirty, dirty. When i checked out I told the clerk and all he said is he was going to spray and those were not cockroaches they were water bugs. Oh...that makes a big difference on what kind of bugs I had to sleep with. Disgusting! I wouldnt even give this place one star but I cant post if i dont.
BOOK ELSEWHERE!! Stay at the Oxford Suites or something in Redding. When we first checked in we found a brown smudge on our sheet (flat not fitted sheets) and a dirty towel on the bathroom door. When changing sheets ourselves discovered a blood stain on one of the comforters (which were wrapped in flat sheets). Was moved to a different room. Found another blood stain on a comforter in that room and booger on the ceiling of that bathroom. Noted as we walked in the back door had no exterior lock. Should have left then, but it was late and no other rooms at other hotels. My daughter found a small Indian moth on her spoon, showed it to me and the manager. Manager tried to tell us it was cardboard. I thought it was 78/night, but was charged 87/night. When I called to check the price, I mentioned some of these issues. The manager offered to make a note on our stay and tried to offer me a discount on future stays. When I told him that I would never stay there again he started arguing with me about the things that had happened, essentially telling me I was lying.
My family and I stayed here on June 24th. We checked in late in the evening and in doing so we brought our things into the room and layed the kids on the bed then my husband and I fell into ours and fell asleep quick. All night I kept waking up feeling itchy. In the morning I woke up to notice little black things between the sheets. When I took a closer look I noticed my bed was covered in ants. As I had a mini meltdown I also noticed ant all over the desk, dresser, sink and in the bathroom. I mentioned to the front desk what happened (after we hurried to pack up and get out) and the woman didnt even seem to be bothered. She just wrote down our room number on a list below a few other numbers. What the heck? Apparently I wasnt the only person to complain. She didnt even apologize. I wasnt even looking for any kind of refund, just a simple sorry but they should have done something. I cant even imagine how many bugs were in the kitchen and in the food. This was the most disgusting thing to ever happen at any hotel I have ever stayed at. Not even in Costa Rica where the bugs are enormous and everywhere did I have bugs in my room. This place needs better management and an exterminator.
We booked this hotel because we had a good experience staying here 2 years ago. But this time we were so disappointed. There were so many things that were wrong. The back door didnt have a lock, it was there before, but now it was not there, any one could enter this hotel anytime from the back door. Carpet, bathroom faucets, chairs, even light shade were stained and dirty. Windows and glass doors were dirty and with lots of fingerprints. People who were not staying in the hotel were doing laundry. Pool was dirty. Breakfast area was not clean. Back parking lot had lots of trash and dogs poop all over the grass area. Just disgusting feeling after staying there. I wish I read reviews and not rely on my previous experience. This hotel management for sure doesnt care about their clients and reputation. Oh, and they said that they cannot use my AAA discount since I didnt say about it right away at the time of booking. We travel a lot, but this is the first time I couldnt pass on writing a negative review.
05.01.2018Property started showing that it need renovation now.09.10.2017Another visit. Same good old service............2016Best option on Budget around Anderson. Rooms are clean and comfortable.Wash Area is outside of restroom, thats is only minus point if traveling with someone.
Extremely accessible from the freeway, parking is adequate. Unlike most Baymonts that I have stayed at, this one does not have an elevator so be prepared if you are on the second floor as we were.rooms were nicely maintained and clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful.
My boyfriend rented a suite with an in-room jacuzzi. We had such a fun, relaxing time! I recommend bubble bath, just go easy with it... 😁 Also, the King bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Our room had a small balcony that overlooked the indoor pool. We had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker & blow dryer. The price was very reasonable as well.
I was very disappointed in this Baymont on both visits. In December 16, the curtain in the room was half torn off, then the border of the wall was ripped off. The maid forgot to come to our room to clean it so I had to go down to the lobby myself for soap and towels! Not to mention, the door was continually jammed and had to reactivate my key card, another family had to also. The only positive thing there was a nice breakfast and rooms were clean when the maid came and no bugs. I expected this Baymont to be like the one I stayed in, in Gainesville, Florida but it didnt live up to expectations. Its not worth $90 a night!! Maybe $70. Stayed there one more time in January 17 and the room was better but the phone had no numbers on it nor did it look like a normal phone so couldnt call the lobby, clock alarm didnt work and the people upstairs were so loud we heard nonstop pounding as if they had sumo wrestlers playing hopscotch or wrestling up there. The WiFi cut out often and was hard to use, plus the donuts at breakfast were stale. So this stays a 1 star. Redding Baymont is WAY better.
The place is not what the pictures make it seem. Upon checking in I parked out back where a few of the locals where hanging out. When in notified the from desk woman upfront informed me that they wont mess with you car followed by I had to chase some folks out earlier . When we got to our first room we found a bug crawling on the bed . We went back to from desk and switched rooms. When we walked in the light switch didnt work. We also had a lovely view of the locals still hanging out in the parking lot. The rooms are way out dated . We spent 5 min looking for another hotel and left . Do yourself and family a favor and book on the north side of redding. Its not much more , nicer newer hotels , and much safer as I found out.
Nice people at the counter but she didnt go out of her way for anything. There was an obnoxious and loud group of adults and kids playing in the pool. We wanted to to relax in the hot tub but it didnt work so it would have not helped to complain about them. I noticed in the am than the tub had hair in it. On the good side.... the A/C worked great and good breakfast. Wal-Mart nearby with Starbucks.
First of all I never EVER leave comments or reviews!! (Although Been going here for years and I love it!! Also Great staff). BUT the hot tub does NOT have a screen over the filter and when jets are on the filter is extremely powerful. It sucked my daughters heal in and when she pried it out it removed some skin. I Let staff members know and they stated that owners are aware of it but will not correct it. PLEASE CORRECT THIS PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS THEIR HAIR STUCK IN IT AND IS UNABLE TO RESURFACE!!
We were very lucky to find this place by accident! My girlfriend and I had been driving all night and we were very tired by the morning. With nearly nine hours utill we would be home, we decided we need to stop and rest very soon. She must have called 20 - 25 hotels between 11 AM and Noon as I was driving from town to town. This was the only one that would let us check in early (by 3 hours!) and they didnt even charge extra! Marvin was very helpful and got us into a beautiful room very quickly. We are staying on the second floor, room 235. Everything in the room is very clean and like new. Our room has 2 comfortable queen beds, fridge, microwave, Samsung LED tv(with dish network satellite and free HBO), coffee maker, hair dryer, WIFI, free breakfast, indoor pool/spa, etc... This hotel is very easy to find and close (~1/4mi) from the Interstate 5 freeway in Northern CA. I am very pleased with this hotel and the friendly staff. I will definitely be staying here again next year when I will be back through here.
This place is fraudulent and horrible customer service. I was a customer this year with my family on May 26 2019 and I was charged 100 for a smoking fee however I have never smoke in my life. I tried to resolve the matter within the business but I kept getting different answer from an uneducated staff. The whole situation is really shady and I never get a return phone call from a supervisor, manager or owner when I’m always promised you one. Take care of you money and do not stay in this hotel.
French fries on the ground, ghetto toilet seat that doesnt fit right, stickers on the jacuzzi bathtub suite. Its like this place wad myself in the 90s and no one maintained the place. Very disappointed in the hotel suite. The only plus is the indoor swimming pool and spa.#whenwasthisplace cleaned last #nasty #disgustinghotel #gladTHISisNOTmyHOUSE
Security was bad keypad on door didnt work so outside doors left unlocked. they made our bed 2 times out of five days never changed the sheets, didnt leave coffee. old run down needs cleaned and painted. do start me on the breakfast. sausage and hash browns no eggs, waffles were good always ran out of food. had to have our keys reset almost every day if I could give it a minus star I would

2022-06-25Extremely disappointed. The pictures on Travelocity for this hotel made it look amazing! Beautiful pool, cribs available, free early check-in, and a great continental breakfast (according to pictures). When we arrive it is in a weird location, and under construction. First I tried to call day before to let them know we would be using the included free early check-in, lady on the phone was rude and said that was not a thing and I would be charged if we checked in early. Then we get there and everything is under construction do no pool, hallway and rooms were dirty/scuffed up. The room across the hall from us was condemned and unsafe which made us very uneasy with 2 children. The hall also had a strong weird chemical smell. The door to the outside was supposed to be locked unless you had room key access, but was just unlocked which given the location made us feel unsafe. Our room door did not lock properly either making us even more uneasy, we had to use a stroller to block the door. They also not breakfast, but coupons for a free jack n the box breakfast (I guess better than nothing) but they only had one option available with no substitutions which none of us really liked. If we had any other options of places to stay we would have, we couldnt have checked out any faster if we could try. Once all the construction is done it will probably be a decent place but these issues shouldve been listed prior to people booking so they know what they are getting into.

2022-05-14Not a bad place, they are remodeling here and there but it was fine for the price. The room was very clean, the beds looked like they had recently been replaced and were very comfortable. Our room was quiet and we did enjoy the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Very little traffic noise from 273.

2021-12-27The hotel looked beautiful online, and I chose it because it had a pool and breakfast at a reasonable price. We’d been driving 9 hours and wanted a place the kids could get out and stretch their legs. The hall way reeked of cigarette smoke and the room was tiny. The grout and caulking was dirty, cracked and coming apart everywhere. The shower had been painted and the paint was peeling. The toilet did not refill itself after flushing. The floor was noisy and sticky. We chose to go to sleep to avoid thinking about how nasty the room was, but were woken up at 1 am to people TALKING in their room and hallway. Incredibly thin walls. So disappointed. Spend the extra $20 and go literally anywhere else. Do not waste your money here.

2022-03-29Even though its in the middle of a renovation, I was very happy with our room. The staff is friendly and they have a really nice indoor pool and separate hot tub. Breakfast is good too. (Love the pancake machine)

2022-01-18Positive: It looked recently renovated and everything was really nice and clean. The room was comfy and very well presented. Negative: The laundry area needed a bit of attention and someone was actually making food in a cooking pan ¿¿¿ unfortunately the breakfast needs a much needed makeover¿.

2022-06-19The first complaint is that upon arrival we were told that the pool was closed. The next complaint is that there was no working locks on the door for personal safety. They were partially there, but not in working order. They did give us a coupon to use at Jack in the Box for breakfast for the pool being closed, but we checked out just after 9am, they expired at 9am. Nothing worked out well. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable enough.

2022-06-11As of 6/9/22 this hotel is under construction. I did not find this out until I drove 400 miles. The hotel was dead empty and being remodeled. Please call before you book online. I used Priceline and and placed a non refundable room booking. Until they open again please do not make the same mistake as me!!

2022-05-28Dont stay here. Plugged drains. Guest partying out side your window. Weed smoke in the halls. Had better food in an Army chow hall. Staff tries to make it out like its your fault. Would give it a zero if possible. Police and Fire Dept. kick us out! Every guest! Fire hazard!

2022-05-06Positive: Very conveniently located by the freeway. Negative: Coffee maker had no drip pan to make coffee in my room. Although coffee was in the lobby. Breakfast area was pretty small.
