Manger on duty by the name of Tony refuses to do his job properly took my battery there for the third time in a week they charge it I pick it up put it in the car without connecting it connect it the next day and battery is dead all Tony says is I have to speak to the manger yet his job title is parts sales manger which means he can do his job just refuses too do so
Manager could use some managerial and customer service training. They seem to know their job and in-stock inventory, but they talk to their customers as if they were 5 years old. Went in to buy something for an emergency about 15 minutes before they closed and they could care less about helping us get the part we needed.
I used to go to the one at santa ana, and I was used to really attentive detailed and customer oriented service; at this location I was actually disappointed. When we asked for help to check the light for the service engine soon, they didnt even bother to go and do the test run, instead they gave us the scanner to do it ourselves. And when we asked for the product we needed they didnt even told us where we could find it since they they where out of stock of the catalythic cleaner, and for the actual catalythic converter they didnt even bother searching where we could actually find it.
Usually come here for all my parts needs for my project car or commute car, usually have most parts on hand or can order the part and be in the store by tomorrow. If they don’t have it at this store they can call a different store to find the part for you. Most parts come with a warranty unlike other places. Came not to long ago to get a couple parts for my 94 accord that I been trying to fix up. They also let you borrow tools to fix your car if you don’t already have them.
Honestly theyre great. The employees are quick, they know what theyre talking about. And they usually always have something in stock, if they say they do. Yes, I called before I went and the guy who helped me didnt know what I was talking about when I got an answer from a different guy on the phone, and couldnt confirm a price I saw online so instead I paid about $200 more than I feel I shouldve because it was one price online already. Other than that 👌 thanks yall.
I called in to buy a battery and have it installed in my BMW. I was given the price 160. I said ok will they be able to install the battery. I was told I dont it matter if they fell comfortably. Im confused you sell battery for my car, you install battery that you sell but you dont know if you can install the battery Im going to buy. Makes no sense
Maribel was very rude. I think that was her name. She has dark hair and extremely long fake eyelashes. She kept walking away while I was talking to her and ignored me. I brought in old break pads to compare to new ones. She threw them on the counter and walked away and left me to pick them up. My hands are black and I went to ask for a napkin and she walked away before I could. She has a huge attitude problem and obviously hates helping people. Get a different job if you hate it so much. Won’t be coming here again.** update** turns out maribel over charged me AND gave me the wrong item!
Awesome customer service! The manager Eddie was super friendly and helpful, as well as the other 2 employees that I spoke to. I ordered my part online, and within 10 minutes it was ready for me to pick up!! Awesome! Eddie understood that my car was obviously immobile, and so I was able to send in a friend to pick up my part! I will recommend this store to all my family and friends. A++.😁 Thanks AutoZone!!!
Tried to purchase advertsed special of 5 qts synthetic oil with filter, but the filter for my car (2014 Chevy Spark) was not stocked and could not be ordered. The salesman was rude and the manager would not substitute a different brand filter, which had the same list price. The ad did not disclose that there were exclusions. All this was after waiting 15 minutes in line for service.
Store seems woefully understaffed dropped off my battery they said it would be ready in an hour showed up an hour and 20 minutes later they said it needed to be another hour came back an hour later long story short 2 and 1/2 hours to get my battery I dont know about that that seems kind of long I just wanted to get my wifes car running but staff was very friendly you know I I dont want to take anything away from that those guys were working hard they just need more people hear that AutoZone management hire more people here your managers great and doing a great job just get more people to these people so they dont have to work so hard Jesus autozone
Hi i came to ask tony to help me about my car has a warning say the check the charger system they recommend to replace the bactery and alternator which i did and the warning didnt go then i go back an ask if they can checked again and tony has a very bad customer services refuse to do it and says that he is no a mechanic and is not his fault that i spend 800 dollar in parts i know he is not a mechanic but thats no a reason to treat customers like that very rude behavior
Went in for new windshield wiper blades. When I went to install them, a part was missing. I went back in and tried to show a cashier the missing part for a quick exchange. Instead of just looking at the missing part and letting me make a quick exchange, he made me get back in line. It turned a quick 10 minute stop into a 40 minute stop. Terrible customer service.
John was so kind for helping me last night. I was going to be stranded there if I didnt get a new battery. John was about to get off work, but he ended helping me. I cant thank him enough. The store was very busy at 10:30pm at night. Another John that worked at the store also assisted John with installing my battery. He was also very nice and helpful. Im very happy with the excellent customer service they provided.
Manager was rude. And wanted to blame the customers that we come into the store and move stuff around to the wrong shelf as to why the product had the wrong price because a customer came in and moved it to wrong spot. Although there is no other spots open and its in the same section as the rest.
John helped me over the phone and then when I showed up, he found out what parts I needed and was in and out in less than 5 minutes.Only someone who knows his auto parts can do that.Many thanks for John and Auto Zone for having such great experienced people working for you.Give them all a big pat on the back for me!!!
The only downside to this location is that the lack of associates working the register. At the time of this review, only 2 associates working with almost 10 shoppers in line including myself.However, the floor associates are really helpful. Theyre knowledgeable with parts of the cars.Also, this is 24hrs. A big plus.
Like the customer service here better than other places. I go to auto parts stores everywhere, and where ever Im at, these people are always the nicest, most patient, and helpful. Other places make you feel like youre bothering them for being there. Worth a drive out of the way, if its not to-to far
I got the worse customer service in that store , I was trying to get a part and the cashier was not in a good mood , gave me such an attitude and they didn’t even had the part , I feel like Orally or Pep boys give better customer service , Auto-zone need to train employees to give a better customer service ....
Good prices and good service.. Discounts for Veterans.. A young Asian gentleman whos name I believe is John removed and reinstalled my cabin air filter because I didnt know how.. Very patient and Very amiable.. Before he helped me, he removed and replaced a new battery for another gentleman.. Above and beyond and much appreciated by this Veteran.. Thank you again...
Called and was greeted with a curtious hello, I asked for a certain part and was informed they had two. I ask if Maribel if she could check the shelf to ensure they had the part and she said no problem and went off to check. After confirming they had 2. I thanked her and started driving over. After arriving and asking for Maribel, she remembered the part and went off to get it. Unfortunately the part was the wrong one (my mistake) and I did not make a purchase but I do appreciate her attentiveness.
I went in needing a very specific part. I had only a vague description of it. The counter person was able to find the part after asking just a few questions narrowing it down. Very impressive.More impressive was the fact that they had the part in-stock. I bought it, installed it and Im now ready for an out-of-state move.I have always liked that this location is 24hrs. As a neighborhood mechanic I have found myself here at midnight or 2am or 4am on many occasions looking for that last part to finish the job.
Service is decent. But twice already have I noticed i was sold something Without being asked. It was under $2 but I feel I should have been asked, and not charged for it and then find it I one of the boxes I had.So this person took the time to open a box and por that in it
Worst organized I have ever seen in an auto parts store. There will always be customers that need help with fitment of parts to a particular car so thats understandable but those that KNOW what they want and need to check out should not be made to wait behind a customer that takes 7-10 minutes to help. Have a DEDICATED check out guy for those that dont need help and the line will be greatly reduced. Pep boys has figured it out with the help desk in the back and the check out in the front...why cant you guys???
Friendly staff, quick to help and open at 5 am. Thats great for guys like me working graveyard. Went to check if my battery was bad as its been acting up, guy told me what was up and didnt push a sale or anything. If the dealer doesnt take care of me, Im coming back here for my battery.

AutoZone is waaay better than OReillys! This location is open late(12am),have loaner tools,WILL charge a battery for free usually within 2 hours and have a helpful staff. They didnt carry the part I was looking for but theyre usually who I recommend or GO TO myself first.
I needed to get a card reader diagnosis they are helpful friendly helped me get the machine to my car in correctly and read the error code.Friendly staff knowledgeable and willing to go the extra step to help you Im willing to go back to this place not all AutoZones are the same please keep this staffed with the best.
I work graveyards so whatever is open 9 time out of ten the workers are stupid but People here are always knowable about almost anything. very helpful. I changed out many things in my car to seen on YouTube (saved me a whole lot of money) the guys here at auto zone gives you good tips to save you time.( At least the 3 am crew does)
The staff that was working on 12/7/2018 were rude and unprofessional over the phone. I called at 10:55 PM because I desperately needed a part for my car and wanted to find out if it was available before I drove out there from Irvine which is about 13 miles away from this location. First time I called no one answered and rang all the way through the call automatically hung up so I called again, this time a guy answered and said he was going to place me on a brief hold. So I waited 12mins on hold and hung up and dialed again and again and again about 20 times and no answer. By this time it was already 11:20pm and my window to get there before 12 AM was running out. So this time I tried calling with my wifes phone, I called 10 times before I got a answer from the same guy and told me to hold. I explained to the guy that I had already been holding for 12mins prior and and that I was running out of time and he said sorry but we are busy so your are going to have to hold so I waited for another 13mins before I hung up since I no longer had enough time to get there before they close. Point being the staff handled this very poorly and should be unacceptable to any company or manager. I will now not be able to drive to work tomorrow since my work truck is not working and my time was wasted by this autozone employee who put me on hold for a total of 25 mins. I always felt autozone was so helpful and always saved the day but unfortunately now this employee left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me look at autozone as whole a little different. I hope Autozone takes this review as a learning opportunity for their current and future staff to avoid this situation from happening again.
Yes its a nice place.. but damm they need more help.. they got 3 people Loading up to Shelves taking their sweet time.. Theres 2 people helping Customers.. And there is about 8 or more people ready to be served.. Just remember the customers come 1st and somethings wrong with this program.. RUDE sales manager!!! Today at around 6p.m I walked into the store needing to return a few items that I purchased a day a go. The sales manager asked me if I needed help, I told him yes I need to return a few items. He looks at me and gives me a frustrated expression. He asked if there was anything wrong with the items, I replied by saying no. He then takes the receipt and continues showing signs of frustration by taking deep breaths and exhaling loudly. After a minute or two I hear him say something under his breath that sounded like unbelievable. At this point it was obvious that the sales manager was upset by the fact that I was returning my items. To make the situation worst, once he finished entering the information from my receipt into the computer for my refund, he has the audacity to cripple the receipt and tosses it on the counter and says here. How can a store manager who is wearing a name tag stating that customer satisfaction is his number one priority do such a RUDE thing. He informs me that the cashier on the left will give me my refund. As I walk over to the second cashier I can clearly see(sales manager) him shake his head as if Ive done something wrong. The second cashier finishes the transaction by handing me my cash refund and wishes me a good night. I dont remember the managers name because I was flabbergasted by his RUDENESS. Never in my life have I had such dreadful customer service from a manager. I will not be coming back to this store, I will also encourage everyone not to do business or even step foot at this store.
There were only 2 workers and service was extremely slow. I only needed an EGR gasket from behind the counter, so I got in line with three people ahead. I stood there like a dummy for 20 minutes and there was still one guy ahead of me.Then I looked at my basket, decided there was nothing in it that I would really miss, and one of the spray cans had no spray tip and a cracked top. I set my basket down and left. Probably wasnt noticed or missed. This is my first negative revue of the few Ive done. They get 2 stars for having stock on hand,,,usually.
Do I have something to say about this autozone!1. They never answer the phone and, if they do they put you on hold and never pick back up.2. The manager is the worst, has an attitude and isnt really all that helpful. (Name left out)3. The staff there is horrible every time I go after calling and being on hold for almost an hour (not joking) I walked in and saw 5 employees counting the manager. There was a long line and all of them were close to registers. Yet only 2 were working the register and extemly slow. One of the staff members there wouldnt even help me find what I needed I know I had to order it but he kept sayin they dont cary it , when I know they do I tried ordering it and he just kept trying to say yeah we dont have it try tops across the street. Like who sends a customer across the street to the competition when I like Shopping at autozone it quicker for me !! This is the worst autozone Ive ever been too . The one onEuclid and katella is a lot better theres only 3-4 employees there and they are all amazing they greet you when you come in theyre super fast with long lines and they always try to go out of their way to help me . The only thing that sucks is they close at 9pm. GO TO KATELLA AND EUCLID INSTEAD YOULL BE OUT IN LESS THAN 5 min. Unlike the one on Lincoln takes about an hour just to get someone to talk to you at the register from the line taking so long !!!
Iove the ability to use warranty on parts bought here anywhere in the United States, bjg you defiantly need to check out the competition for prices as I needed a right hand mirror replacement and was about to buy just the glass for 49 $ here, then checked out OReillys and they had the completed unit glass and everything for 19$.
People with these bad reviews act like this is a service shop... its not. Its a store for DIY type of people. If you are going to work on your own vehicle then make sure you know what you need and what youre doing. Most of these people arent mechanics, they are there to get you what you need. That one review with the person saying they are evil for not removing the battery from their car.... seriously? You think they are gonna touch your car knowing theres a possibility you can blame them if something goes wrong with your car? They loan tools. instead of complaining you shouldve borrowed a tool and taken it off. Some of these bad review seem to be written by dumb people. But as for the store, Ive never had a problem. they always get me the part i need except for one time out of all the years of been going there. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Never really had a problem with customer service and ive never seen the store closed like other claim and ive gone at all times of night.
So I love this place they always help me when I need them they are the best AutoZone ever!!!! So my story I went to autozone on sycamore and I purchased a bulb for my headlight I asked for assistance the person helping me came out and took off the back cover to get to the bulb then unscrewed something and stuggled to get it out she asked some other guy for help and he couldnt do it then another guy came out and he tried and he said Im sorry I cant help you so I told him fine but can you put the screw back in he told me well I dont know where she took it off at so I just told him never mind I packed up and drove off the reason I went there was cause its close to my job and there was still sun out so I didnt have to turn on my light and risk getting pulled over so I chanced it I said screw it Im going to my AutoZone guys I arrived made it went in asked the guy to look up the bulb to make sure it was correct I didnt even have to ask for help right away he was like okay lets go fix this thing it took him less then a minute to get that bulb out and replaced it with the one I purchased and made sure it worked great put my cap back on and said alright your all set have a great night cutomer service is amazing thank you guys at this AutoZone I appreciate you guys alot you guys are my go to for sure if I could rate 100 stars I would
Soo thats how you think you should run your business? If im warranteeing a part i must first pay for it if its at another location? Lame. And when i drive to the other location in a borrowed car, the loaner tool is unavailable so i have to just go home.would have bought the tool if wasnt so irritated
2 out of 2 times they sold me the wrong part.Really inconvenient when you come from Huntington Beach, have called ahead of time, and its almost closing time. Is it just a thing they do to girls coming in?? I had to spend the night in my car so it wouldnt get towed when the correct part would have put me back on the road in less than 10 minutes.
Awful experience as a matter of fact i took note of this horrible employees name tony v was his name and not only did he have a distastful attitude as i approached him the man was completly unknoledgeable about a simple question of which product was better but he wasnt even knowledgable enough to know what item i had been asking of when it was one of the products they stock tyemselves on the aisle total thumbs dowb tony and up yours theres no need for yoyr salty faces dude this is what u do for a living bud get with it or im sure you wont be around long there
Every time I go here theres a really long line and the parking lot is riddled with people working on their cars, even though it clearly states you arent supposed to. They have security to help with that but it looks like it doesnt really work in the neighborhood. Its a shame that its the people that go to it that ruin it for others, but in the while just take brookhurst down to orangethorpe and go there.
The 24 hour car pharmacy!! Still seems kind of exotic to me. A place for nocturnal mechanics lol. You know who you are. This place is a godsend when you need a thermostat gasket at midnight... and and dont feel like cutting one out yourself from a roll of gasket material.. think this is the only one thats 24hrs in the entire county. Armed security is provided in case you try to jack or the crackheads get rowdy which never happens but HEY its noice this place is here after EVERYTHING closeds.
I have come to rely on AutoZone at home, but this store fell short of the AutoZone standard in everyway. The experienced AZoner (Daniel) insisted was asking for the wrong part and sold me the wrong part. The rookie AZoner (Gene) got everything right. The store had no loaner tools at all and blamed it on a crack head. Horrible experience from start to finish. 1 star is 1 too many for this store.
There is a manager there by the name of Salvador this guy stood there talking about nothing with his employees while I waited in line there was one person being held they did come to help me was not very helpful put me on hold help somebody on the phone for 10 minutes then send somebody to lunch and was more concerned with his watch then the question I was asking him about the part for my car when I had waited for help this person is a moron and I probably would never go in the store again because of him and I did not get any part at all because he was very unhelpful

2022-04-01Worst experience ever. On hold for 1hr 5min. At the store they said they did not carry part. Had to use my phone to supply the with a part number. They found the part then. I asked them to hold the part for me, they refused. I purchased the part on line with PayPal ( l wont have to pay for it for six months). Pickup in store for the in stock item I asked them to hold. Showed receipt, counter man could not find order or part. I kept asking them to check. I got blank stares. Another employee showed how to look up order. As I was waiting, some one left with a part like mine. I asked if that was my part. They said I dont know. They refused to check. Yes, that was the part I had a receipt for. They said they could bring a part from another store. I explained I needed two and I was going to get that part on my own. Now I needed a third part. Had to order one. Should have been 4 days was 5. So, what could have been three hours was five days. They ignored me, refused to hold the part, gave away the part, refused to honor my receipt by stopping the man taking it away and offered that his Fedexs fault because they took five days to deliver. Blamed me for being upset that I was losing work over this. IDIOTS!!!

2022-05-03Terrrible customer service on 5/2/22. Manny was entirely unwilling to honor a warranty on the Duralast C max gold ceramic brake and refused to swap it for the Duralast Elite Ceramic which has replaced it as the top tier lifetime ceramic pad.He would only issue a return and make me buy the pad at a now higher price instead of focusing on customer satisfaction. Perhaps, it was not his fault, since the Manager George (Jorge?) was not there for me to talk to. If the policy in that store is to not honor warranties and adjust pricing to honor it for lifetime parts no longer offered, then you can avoid it for any warranty parts.Seemed like the employees were over it and going through the motions. Making it right by me was not on the radar.

2022-06-12Update 6/12... Hey AutoZone thanks for your prompt reply and I just got through with my repairs a little over an hour ago and what has transpired since my last words were extremely positive, I went to the Autozone near me (16672 Beach Blvd Ste L, Huntington Beach, CA 92647) and I lucked out and got the manager and asked if they could have that water pump timing belt kit brought to his store and he said no problem... Ill get right on it he said and I paid for the parts, and just like he promised it would be there around 5:30 everything went smooth and if I sounded like I was whiny with my prologue it was because I just got out of Walmart. Anyway good job guys and great tip for everybody instead of driving all the way across town just go down to your local store (The one you called and said the part was in Cucamonga) and ask em if they can get it to your nearest AZ it worked for me and Im grateful thanks a lot AutoZone! Saved me 4 hours yesterday.AutoZone is a great parts store, seems like mostly knowledgeable employees. Today Im running into an aspect of their business decorum that wont allow one store to send another store a part without a payment and they wont take a Credit Card over the phone (Yeah I Asked About Cash). I got to jump on a bus for 4 hours this afternoon, or spend 50 dollars on round trip Uber (Drivers Dont Take Cards). I think Ill rent a car. (They dont take Cash). Got it, Ill go to my Nearest Auto Zone and Pay for the part there and have it shipped to that store ( I may be Mensa Caliber but undocumented). Ill update with results.

2022-02-14I used to work at this location as a commercial delivery driver it was good to see an old coworker I found out it had been probably 7 years ago. As always they were very informative and helpful it took a while to get to the front of the line but when youre there they give you just as much services the person before you so you got to remember that when youre waiting in line does seem like a long time but they really take care of you once you are there

2022-03-11Do not go to this AutoZone unless you absolutely have to not only do they not know the meaning of customer service but they charge a higher tax rate than just about every other AutoZone. Even something as simple as picking up a prepaid part takes the useless staff here over 20 minutes!!! Worst employes I have ever had the misfortune of encountering and the manager is the worst !!!!!!
