First time at this location. I was picking up a doordash order and thought to get a veggie burrito. I’m vegetarian therefore I don’t eat cheese. Got to the drive-thru window to ask for no cheese only for them to tell me they’d have to charge for a redo because they already made the burrito. The drive thru is 10feet from the window. And the customer is always right. They refused to remake the burrito, so I left. What an awful first experience and definitely my last. I guess the customer isn’t always right...
Everything they offer here is perfect. Well seasoned and the drive thru is always surprisingly fast even with large orders.This specific location is pretty awesome 😎
Good menudo. I usually go to the Colton location, but occasionally Ill be coming in from the east and Ill hit this one. No complaints, good serving with plenty of grano and menudo, and a nice big pata to enjoy. Service is good, decent speed. They serve up the orders smoothly even when busy.
On 9/18 at 6pm, order#147. I Ordered #2 chicken taco special and 2 fish tacos. The chicken taco with beans and rice were fine. Went to eat one of the fish tacos and it was frozen in the center. Took both tacos up to the counter and told the girl the fish was frozen. She asked if I wanted 2 more. I told her no. Biting into a frozen fish kinda ruined my appetite. She didnt even offer to refund me for the tacos. This place used to be a good little spot to go for quality, quick food with good service. Place has gone downhill.
The food was pretty good but the man at the register was rude. And to wet the burrito we ordered. They charged 3.35 more money totaly a rip off. To much forwhat we got. I dont plan on going there in the near futuer
It was okay. I had a carne asada torta with fries and a drink, it was over $11 with tax. A bit expensive for what I got I think. It was one of the better tortas I have had in California, but NOT worth the cost. Service was good, the cashier was fast enough to handle the front counter and the busy drive thru, and those in the kitchen were cranking out the orders. I will try it again but will probably choose something else to eat for lunch.
They always have great food however the past two times it didnt taste as good as what it usually does. So I was kind of disappointed

Visited this one 1/23/2020. Was not satisfied with my food. Im used to going to the ones on baseline and the other on mt vernon. They always do me right. Came to this one for my chicarrones tacos. I thought all of them served the same so i didnt notice they didnt ask me if i wanted everything on my tacos (which i always do). Didnt check my food til after we left and my tacos had the bare minimum of cilantro n onions. I mean a pinch! No cabbage no works smh. Not even radishes or jalapenos and carrots. Mannnn...not what i expected. Will now just stay going to the ones i usually go to.
I had the carne burrito. I asked to add jalapenos and they added the carrot pepper mix. Really weird on a burrito. I love their pork gravy. Better than most but, not great.
This time the order was wrong and the chicken burrito had lots of bone still in it. To make it worst, when I called to tell the manager, she was rude about it. We spent over $50 that night and everytime I go there I spend $20 or more. They lost a loyal customer. I will be calling corporate on her ultimate rudeness and disregard for their customers.
I ordered a double cheese burger no bun,lettuce wrapped no mustard. I got a single cheese burger,no ketchup, with mustard, only lettuce and a pickle or two.. I would not have gotten my small fries if I hadnt noticed that they didnt charge enough. Then she added the small fry. She didnt pay attention when I was giving my order, not all. Obviously.
I ordered some carne asada fries and they tasted like it was cooked with pork fat. I dont think they cleaned the grill and the asada took on the flavor of everything else they cooked on it. The ground beef tacos werent salted or seasoned. The horchata was watered down. The taste of the food at this location and the one on Mnt. Vernon are different. The food at Amapola on Mnt. Vernon tastes better and the horchata isnt watered down.
They have awful food its gross and its very sad they have the upper hand too only fast food around that side of town...Basically just plain evil, how they do the neighbors. They no there food everything on that menu is gross cold no spices and never cooked right or plain like a chili , burrito ! There dinners not enough greedy with there portions. My opinion is :(
My husband ordered a torta of chicharon it was extremely dry! It was nothing but fat, no meat!!My bean and cheese burrito was a kids burrito the mini churro was bigger than the burrito.We will not be returning to Amapola.
I love this place worth the drive from Chino. Best food ever. The chili Reno burrito out of this world. Dinner plates are so great. Never walk away still hungry.

Went there for lunch and ordered 2 burritos, 1 for me and 1 for my son. My burrito (a chili relleno) was gross. The salsa smelled bad and the chili was tough. It looked like scrambled eggs instead of batter. I threw it away. My sons burrito (Carne asada) was gross too. Just had an over all bad flavor. Really disappointed. Not what I expected from Amapola.
Was down from Washington state on visit and almost missed my return flight cuz I stopped in for pork Chile Verde Burritos with cheese. Best Burritos in that country.

Came on a whim, ordered a carne asada burrito, the vegetables in the burrito were crisp and fresh, and they were very generous with the meat, which was savory and perfectly cooked. Id definitely recommend if youre looking for no frills, cheap and satisfying Mexican food

I don’t usually do reviews but man do not go to this place the food is disgusting they take very long and the people who work here seem unhappy rude and dirty will never go here again.
Yesterday my family and I we went to go eat there and the hot sauce was old and no good. Bad service. I also got a burrito of asada and they gave me cabbage in my burrito when I didn’t ask for it.
Two many flies buzzing around my food. The cheese was sour, burritos have more beans, rice, lettuce and tomato and very little meat. Prices are reasonable. Limited parking.

Amapola can be hit and miss at some locations, but this one is always on point! The young lady at the window was friendly, professional, and she got the order just right the first time.
The place itself is nice and clean, food ehh I asked for a asada torta and it was really bad the meat was hard and they burned the gotta from the inside which made it horrible and I also asked for asada fries and they dont put beans or sour cream or guacamole plane meat French fries and cheese and for 8 dollars I mean come on drinks were good horchata was great and fountain drinks are fine too as you would expect from any other place overall i would recommend it to anyone food is not good all tho service and place was ok

2021-11-251rst visit: Delicious food and nice employees. Highly recommend2nd visit: Salsa was horrible and smelled old, fish tacos tasted like the frozen breaded fish you buy at the store, birria tacos had no flavor. Only good thing was the cheese fries! Highly disappointed 😞

2022-03-24Totally disappointed with the food and prices today. I have been coming here for over 30 years, since I was a kid. Today the food didn’t hit right. The food doesn’t have the same flavors. I got 3 churros and they were burnt and inedible. I can’t believe they served them anyway. Everything added is an extra cost. The only thing good out of $60.00 worth of food was the Horchata…and it’s even over priced. SMH. I have to leave this restaurant as an old childhood memory. Not worth go back again.

2020-04-18Went there for some birria (drive thru). Got home and and found out they served me dog food. Gave it to the dogs, they too didn’t want it. You can literally smell the uncooked meat. Disappointed and disgusted.

2019-11-18Whoevers manager over there is failing. I used to give this place five star but not anymore its went all the way down to one star because they cant keep their guacamole fresh or cook french fries thoroughly. Last time Im ordering from there.

2021-12-13This amapola Rico taco is on the outskirts of the city of San Bernardino and the food that I got here was the green pork burrito with the fries and the drink was pineapple and everything was fresh and hot so hot that I had to wait to let my burrito cool down everything was fresh and it was fast to order so I gave it five stars come and check it out if youre around town or if you work for the city or county or the sheriffs department come and check this out.
