I have lived here about a year now. 2 bed 2 bth apt that we really do love and great complex. The issue is that they do not regulate people for excessive noise. They had us sign a good neighbor agreement which I was happy to sign but the enforcement we found to be lacking. Our upstairs neighbors bang, thump, walk like elephants everyday and just plain the worst I have ever experienced. After months of back and forth with management that is was ridiculous and they need to figure a way to fix it. Nothing has changed and now they are actually much worse all day! Their answer is to transfer and pay more and new deposit or just dont sign new lease. I find this a bit backwards seeing that these people are in the wrong and know they can do it with no issues from management. At 2300 mth you would think people would be more respectful.
My family and I have been living at Alize Apartments for over 2 years and we love it!! Everyone is so wonderful but the best part is the maintenance team is always there for you. The back up drain for the AC over the bathtub had been leaking and left a yellow stain from the lime in the water. A couple of months ago they fix the leak and I told them not to worry I would clean the tub but unfortunately I could not remove the stain. Called maintenance and Luis said no worries after he finish the project he was on he would be there to remove the stain. He literally scrubbed on his hands and knees for over 30 minutes. I had to go to work but when I returned it look like a brand new bathtub!!!!
We love this place so far - been here over three months and cant think of one complaint. Our apartment is large, private, completely remodeled, warm and comfortable. Grounds are always kept up, no parking issues, gym is great, nice pool area. The staff has been great - from the office to the maintenance staff. Friendly staff always devoted to volunteering for community support in addition to taking great care of their residents. Maintenance is always there when requested for even the simplest request such as changing a light bulb. Quite like the feeling of being a hotel guest with nice accommodations such as trash valet (even though we dont use it) and delivery of parcels from the office. We looked at apartment communities in the Aliso Viejo area for three months and glad we chose Alize!
I am in love with our new home. The apartment we were at before was a nightmare. This time around at our second apartment, with welcoming a new baby on the way, we wanted to make sure our place was near perfect.We started looking early and kept our eyes open but from the beginning knew we wanted to be at Alize. Once we saw a great price we moved in asap! Aliso Viejo is prime for raising families. The Alize community is friendly, from the people to the workers. Our neighbor (a woman and her husband) who saw us moving into the third floor even offered me and some of my family cold water and a helping hand.Im so grateful for Kyle who helped us move in. Our income from both of our main jobs didnt cut it (as I had started a new job recently) but he helped us and reassured us we had more options. With our bank statements we were able to move in and I could not be happier.Now that we are settled in, I can see us living here for an extended period of time, way past our 13 month lease. The floorplan for our one bedroom has so much storage space. The shower head is tall enough for my fiance (small detail we didnt have before at our old place). Countertop space in the kitchen is great. The accent wall made our apartment feel more like a home. The valet trash is super convinient and easy. And Shannon was very helpful during the move in expection as I noted anything I could which was close to nothing.I cannot wait for our life here with baby to begin.
I love this place! Mark and the rest of the office staff are so attentive. Whenever I go into the office for some great Starbucks coffee or to just say hello, Mark and the rest of the team are always there greeting me warmly and smiling. They always help me feel right at home. If I ever have a service request, maintenance is awesome and they get the job done very quickly and the work is superb! The grounds are beautiful and the place really makes me feel at home. Mark is just great for he help me with everything from the time I walked in the front door to look at an apartment and still does help constantly while I am a resident. This place is in an awesome school district and near trails for hiking as well as wonderful shops and restaurants. The gym at the property has recently been upgraded with very nice equipment! I would recommend living here highly and if so ask for Mark for he will help you with anything and everything you need! I love Mark, Tara, Liz, Shannon, Kyle and the rest of the gang and I thank them all for making me feel right at home always!
I do not have much experience living in apartment community like Alize. This is my third year in an apartment community and second year with Alize. From my graduate school university housing I moved to my house I bought and lived there for 15 years until I had to sell my house because of divorce. But Mark Hernandez and Alize made me feel like I am still living at my own house. Shannon, Kyle and Tara they are all very nice and helpful, but Mark is the best. His welcoming attitude and great personality made me select Alize over other apartment communities. Mark goes an extra mile to satisfy your needs and ensure that I feel valued as resident. Thank you Mark for making Alize my HOME.
Our family lived here for 8 years and loved everything about this place. Very helpful staff (Tara and Mark are my fav). We have some very good memories with this place and believe this is great place to call home. We got few very good lifetime fiends living here.Things I Loved- Great common space- Close proximity to school makes your life very easy .- Walking distance to town center and trails made it a perfect place for outdoor.- Pool space was our favorite specially during summer for get together and kids pool time- Free Clubhouse made it possible to organize a lot of social events and family parties- Ample parking for guests and friends- Very well maintained common areaThings I want to see improve- There is no designated play area for kids in community. A small park or play area will really make a big difference- Gym need to be little bigger. Its not spacious and not very welcomingThanks Alize for giving us great memories and friends
I moved to Alize in May of 2013 and had some issues with the community in the beginning, that quickly changed after they changed the staff at the office. The new staff is amazing.In 2015 I took a tour of a renovated unit with Mark Hernandez, these renovated units are incredibly nice with all upgraded appliances and more. Mark was super helpful and did help me a lot to get into the new unit. I have to recommend Mark if you are looking to move here. All the staff is really friendly and Elizabeth, the manager, really listens to her residents, she has made improvements recommended by the residents that have made this place a great place to live.If you are looking to move, check out the renovated units at Alize.
We recently changed to another apartment with a bigger floor plan. Management was very helpful and fair with charges. We like the location and the area. Second apartment here that we really enjoy. The complex is clean and I have never had to wait long for a repair. In fact when we moved in the dishwasher model that was installed did not work properly and they replaced it right away. I will add that I also like the fact that management, especially Tara Cataldo, takes care of problems without being too invasive.
We have very much enjoyed living in the Alize Apartments in Aliso Viejo. Everyone in the office, including Shannon, Mark, and Elizabeth are fantastic. They are all super friendly and helpful.I had a problem in my apartment and Elizabeth was very helpful and kind in helping my family out.I suggest anyone who lives in the area looking for an apartment to check out this place. Very professional, clean, and exceptional.
The Alize location is perfect. Very close to my sons school, great restaurants, parks and beaches. Our apartment is quiet and clean. It also has washer, dryer and dishwasher, which is very useful. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. Added bonus is having a fresh cup of Starbucks in the leasing office.
I had given a deposit to relocate to a sister property of Alize Apartments. I felt like I was being rushed and pressured to move in by a certain date. When I went into the Alize office to turn in my paper work I discussed this with Shannon. She told me that I should not feel pressured and but the way “I have a great apartment that you should see”. I was tired and said no, and she said “what do I have to lose”? I just unpacked my last box in my new beautiful Alize Apartment. Both Kyle and Shannon are in the perfect profession....working with the public and putting their customer’s interests first! Thank you Shannon & Kyle!
Was a resident at the community for 18 months. At the time I left, I was probably the longest tenured resident in my building. From my understanding, not many people renew because of the high rent increases and the price posed little value for the apartments that were not renovated, compared to surrounding communities.Customer service with their management staff is poor and there are several issues in the general area. First is that it seems like police make regular visits to the community, as I saw them in force at least once a month for various reasons. Secondly the rear exit is next to a school and pretty much inaccessible from 7am-9am and again from 1pm-3pm. So much school traffic in fact that I stopped using that entrance altogether, not to mention the parking that a lot of the school traffic uses within the community that goes unchecked.I also felt duped by the fact that although I requested an initial inspection upon giving my notice of vacating the apartment, they no showed to the appointment window, while leaving me waiting for several hours. This created a problem as that I was unaware of things I needed to address prior to moving out and which led them to not only keep my entire deposit, but also issued me a collection notice for more charges. After trying to work with management through these issues, my frustration grew too much to even care to deal with them anymore.Although the location was really convenient to my work, I would not choose to live here again and would not recommend this complex to anyone looking to move to the area. There are much better communities in the area for a better value and whom actually care about their residents.
After looking for a place at multiple other complexes I decided to rent at Alize. Tara was super helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about how great the complex was and was able to give me her own personal experiences with the area and schools nearby as well. Her energy is infectious, she made the process easy, and has continued to be helpful and communicative even after moving in.
Property Manager is high handed, dishonest and does not follow rules stated in the lease. They selectively enforce community rules. Some residents enjoy higher privileges, that you cannot buy.Property manager Chris also lacks reading and comprehension skills.Property is filthy with dog waste and residents just throwing trash In the hallways. It is very noisy with vehicles without silencers and rowdy people. It is a ghetto and a dog kennel in one. People are low culture and have a lot of dogs.Cooling and heating does not work among other issues. The Fitness center breaks down a lot and is 90 degrees in summer.
Their air conditioning is honestly unbelievably faulty.Current resident here.In summer 2018 the first day I moved in, air conditioning was not working. Waited 3 days for it to be fixed. Between summer in LA and climbing stairs to move my boxed and no cool air really puts me in great faith in this apartment.Then comes winter 2018, took 3 months and 5-6 service requests to get the heating fixed. By the time I can get warm air in my apartment the cold days were almost over.Now comes summer 2019 and the cooling stopped working AGAIN. Now Im in bed struggling to fall asleep.Honestly I dont understand how the air conditioning stop working everytime I start using it. And its not like electricity bill is included in the rent.My advice is that before you move in check the cooling AND heating. And even if it works and you move in, still check it every now and then. You never know when its gonna be a heat wave and the cooling would just accidentally give up.
I am very impress with the courtesy and professionalism that the staff here have shown to everyone. They are kind and alway looking to help. Tara, Mark, and Shannon are amazing! I am a lawyer that travels all over the world and chose to stay at Alize when I am in Orange County for a couple of good reasons: 1) Amazing staff, 2) Great peaceful property, 3) Convenient location. Alize has all of these. The property is great looking, peaceful and centrally located near everything you need. This is truly a wonderful place!
Alize at Aliso Viejo is super quiet,at the top of this hill with awesome city viewsMark was really warm, enthusiastic and knew the area well. He had detailed info re: schools and great recommendations of nearby hiking trails, restaurants etc. I was a bit nervous about moving to an unfamiliar area with my family and getting my daughter into a good school, but Mark really put my mind at ease about the decision. Love the gorgeous stainless steel appliances and wood floors so we put a deposit on one of their newly upgraded apartments. Thank you again Mark!
Had a great experience with Shannon. She was very entertaining and gave us a memorable tour. She also gave us an honest/realistic perspective of the complex & its amenities. The leasing team worked with us to secure an upgraded unit in our budget. We are looking forward to moving in!!
Since my last review we have moved into another unit that has had nothing but problems and the management doesnt seem to care. 5 floods due to bad piping. Took 8 months to repair a hole cause by a leak during the previous tenants, perfect entry point for all kinda cockroaches. Sagging Cabinets they wont fix, and bent garage door they repaired with a 1x1 piece of wood. Good luck on your move in!
Absolutely terrible. They scam you out of money for EVERYTHING when you move out and over charge when you can see the cost of replacement is far less than what they charge. They said a scuff on the wall was damage when one swipe of paint would fix it. They literally took pictures on HANDPRINTS left on the refrigerator and charged us for cleaning. For a handprint.... DO NOT MOVE IN. RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS SCAM.
It appears to be a 5 star accommodation at 3 star pricing. Grounds are nice, apartments are nice with many amenities. Downside: no elevator for 3 story units, parking is only fair, and it has quite the diverse, multi-cultural, tenancy.Particularly, one tenant in 2305 who owes me money for work I did in her home. Kelly, you must pay your bill!
Do NOT rent from Alize Apartments in Aliso Viejo. Their Management as well as their maintenance departments are seriously lacking. I have never lived at an apartment with such terrible customer service including Management. I had a leak in my apartment so they sent someone from maintenance over to have a look, the drywall was opened and remained in the same state for almost 3 weeks! I seriously cannot believe the level of incompetence exhibited by the entire staff. I could probably write a novel about all the bad experiences I have had here but I just dont have the time. In short, if you are looking for a quality place to rent, look elsewhere!
Just a fair warning to current and prospective tenants- you will lose ALL of your deposit + upon move out. I lived in this community for three years and took excellent care of my unit. When I moved in, my carpeting was of poor quality, patched repaired and had noticeable blue stains. I am pretty OCD when it comes to cleaning, so would not allow shoes in my house and cleaned the kitchen floor 3x a day. However, I was charged for carpet cleaning upon my move out. Please note, I also had the carpets cleaned a month prior to my move out. Also, I was charged a cleaning fee for the apartment. Again, I cleaned the apartment prior to move out. However, when I sent an email clarifying the charges, they sent me pictures of the worn areas of the bathtub and counter (VERY cheap, non stain resistant material) as well as worn paint on the door as if it was dirty. In fact, once you clean the surfaces, you have already begun to break down the material. Please dont take my word for it and review the other reviews in regards to those specifics. I will however admit to not cleaning a ceiling fan and staining a small area of the kitchen counter calking when I applied cinnamon to try and deter the HORRENDOUS ant problem in the community. But getting charged the entire $120 cleaning fee for that??? You do the math. I have NEVER been charged for a carpet cleaning or unit cleaning fee any apartment complex I have lived in. I can see for units that are excessively dirty. Just know that you WILL be charged for what is typical pre new-tenant services. Also, word to the wise if you are a current tenant and plan on moving out, be prepared...or in fact, just dont bother to clean anything. It will save a bitter taste in your mouth for being charged. SO glad I broke my lease a month early (paid for the month in full). I would not recommend this community and happy to answer follow-up questions.
I inquired at this community and Shannon did not give me a chance to come up with one reason not to move here. She was amazing! Her spark, attitude, knowledge, and more was just incredible. From our phone conversation to meeting with her person was such a fun experience, Im bummed that I didnt know about this place sooner. Not only does she make this place even more wonderful, the community itself seems to go above and beyond for their residence. Highly recommend.
PLEASE FIX YOUR SPRINKLERSThe sprinklers at night is like loose fire hydrants shooting huge amount of water directly to the parking lot.They have been doing that for a while. For one thing its huge waste of water and for another, the water leaves massive water spot on our cars. Ive spent over 100 bucks within 2 weeks to wash the water spots off my car.The water spot does not come off with regular car wash if you leave them there for as little as a couple of days. I have to polish the paint to remove them.So again, please keep your community facilities updated to prevent residents from moving out!
I live at Alize in Aliso Viejo. Earlier this month we had a few days of light rain and wind. One of the final (and lightest) of these days a tree they planted fell on my car. I was willing to manage the repairs through my insurance, asking only that they cover my deductible and a couple days with a rental car while mine was in the shop. Since then I have been pushed from representative to representative with each one trying to avoid simply paying for the repairs needed to make this right. At no point has anyone demonstrated any follow-up or concern with how I have been affected. After two weeks of trying (read gnashing my teeth and stamping my feet to get anything to happen). They offered to pay half of my deductible as a customer service gesture. It would be the only one theyve made so far. Alizes apartments are lovely and Im certain you will enjoy any tour you are given, but their customer service is abysmal and has already lost them this tenant (I will be leaving at the end of my lease and certainly wont be upgrading to the two bedroom). Dont be the next one
We stopped by to look at an apartment for our daughter. Shannon was very helpful, did a great job explaining the community, and answered all of our questions. Her enthusiasm for Alize, and her positive attitude left us with a great impression of the property and the people that work for Sequoia. Thank you Shannon!
We have lived here for about 3 years, but will be moving soon. The complex is fine, and started out as a more affordable location in Aliso. Obviously the rent goes up every year, however it got to the point where we feel were paying way too much for an un-renovated 1BR. We also had two friends move into the complex after, who both cited us as a referral. Supposedly they offer a $250 referral incentive, but we never received anything. I have a list of things that bothered us about this place but all in all its just alright.
We had a great welcoming from everyone at the leasing staff at the beginning. But slowly it changed. We were under the impression we had chosen a pet friendly apartment complex turns out not so friendly at all we had 3 visits from animal service control apparently there was a nosy tenant that did not like to see my dog on my terrace. According to tenant dog was unattended yet i was a stay at home parent. Each visit animal control made they adviced to ignore the complaint that our dog was completely well taken care of. We started to feel harrassed by this tennant leaving rude notes at our door about how bad pet owners we were. Apparently it was a problem for this tenant to see our dog get fresh air. We never knew who this tenant was however we figured it was the same tenant calling animal service control because the reasons they gave were same as what they wrote on paper. we provided all this information to our community board website. Come to find out this tenant harasses other tenants with similar notes about their pets also being in their terrace. We got so fed up that we wanted to take legal action asked the leasing office for help to provide this tenants name because they received the first complaint. Not once did we get a response back from them. Another thing we noticed was maintenance delaying to get anything fix. My maintenance requests were being worked with in 48 hrs after being submitted some never complete with in a 48 hr period because the maintenance guy was already clocking out and would need to get bk to it the next couple of days so we went from a 48hr wait to a 5 day wait and once he would come over to fix it i was his last job of the day. So i had to wait all day. Upon leaving we were given paint from maintenance team and began painting our apartment. We noticed the paint was different color and did not match our previous color. we informed them of the problem yet they made note of it and told us it wasnt our fault if thats the color we were given then so be it. Our deposit came in we got charged for paint. We contacted them back and asked what happened they found the note and said fine we will refund half. When it should of been full refund! We didnt argued since we just wanted this experience to end. People dont be fooled! Read reviews! Choose wisely!!! Theres better options!!!
I lived at Alize for 3 months and left my apartment very clean and spotless. Yet they charged me for more than $350 for carpet cleaning and a few food stains in the fridge. They even showed pictures of a spill on the wall that did not belong to the apartment that I lived in.If you rent from Alize, you will not see your deposit again.
I lived here for 3 years without much of a problem. Although water line breakage is a severe problem, and almost every other month or so the water would be disconnected due to some heater breakage issues. Once I had to even stay out of the apartment for 4 days. And of course do not expect any compensation for the inconvenience. But I never complained for anything and my life was peaceful for those 3 years.To summarize I have had a very nice time at Alize. Thats why I lived all my time in Aliso Viejo at Alize only.But my main problem which forced me to write this review is different all all the good experience at Alize changed soon after I gave my move out notice.I moved out on 3rd May due to job change and relocation to Bay Area. When I gave my move out notice more than a month in advance, I asked my colleague friend to take over my lease.1. First of all I was told that I would not pay any lease termination charges as I am not breaking my lease, but just transferring it. However, after I vacated the apartment, they charged me the rent while they were cleaning the apartment for my friend. They were going to charge me for 11 days of cleaning time (which in itself is too much time required for cleaning against their promised time of 5 days) but I protested and later they decided to charge me for 7 days instead. I agreed to that.2. While moving out, I asked the maintenance people if it was ok to leave a couple of small items in the storage room in patio for my friend, I was told YES and they promised that they would not touch any of my items. I would have simply removed the items if they said NO. But when they cleaned, they trashed my items and most of all charged me for trashing those items.3. I had requested a statement of all charges, including the extra rent of 7 days I was charged after I vacated the apartment and other cleaning charges. But they did not help even after so many emails and calls.Since I moved out, I sent several emails, calls, voicemails for 2-3 months to them but no one ever wanted to revert back to me. Once April did call me back and asked me that why I was crying for just $25 of trashing charges. Problem here is not how small an amount it is, but it is of propriety. As of now I have forgotten that they charged me rent (first for 10 days and later for 7 days) even after I moved out, I am even ready to forget propriety and the wrongfully charged trashing charges. But how difficult it would be to just send me the statement of charges?I sent several emails to April (manager at Alize). She did not bother to answer even one email. I called so many times, but its hard to reach her on phone. Other people pick up phone but are very rude.A guy called Chris, he was the most rude person. When I said that you are not trying to help me, he just hung up on me without even saying bye. I called him again thinking the call got disconnected, he hung up on me thrice everytime he heard my voice. I called next day and he said I dont let anyone talk to me like that. Like what? That I said, he was not helping me? Was I rude to point out that he was not helping me? I am calling them every day and Chris has now warned me to not call again and againI was given a really really hard time my the management and other leaving office employees, except Jennie who was really nice to me and even tried to help me out. But since she was new she could not help me much.I wish to ask, is this what you get after living in your community for 3 years? I had really beautiful memories of living in Alize. But how can I now recommend my friends to live here? All my Experience at Alize has been ruined.PS: I see in these reviews that Manager at the leasing office is replying to most of the reviews online. But this is all for marketing and publicity. In fact when you do contact them personally after you leave, you are as good as trash for them.
I recently entered the rental office with a maintenance issue around 530, which is close to closing time for the office at 6pm. Instead of putting my maintenance ticket in with the after hours maintenance team, Shannon Leggette immediately got on the phone and got a maintenance employee to take care of my issue within 20 min of me leaving the office.I want to Thank you Shannon for getting this situation taken care of ASAP. That dedication is what makes me proud to live in the Alize Community
Hello Everybody,It is a request that please dont ever plan to stay @ Alize Apartments. The management is nothing but a bunch of liar people. First, the rent is too high. Second, whatever they promise should be legally documented else you are gone. Third, the entrance gate is on and off broken....god knows who is so free to do so. Fourth, never ever trust the management at the time of move out inspection. We were told that since your house is clean and only basic cleaning charges will be applicable....but after 2 weeks we got a mail from them saying that everything has been deducted from the security deposit. Fifth, the management does not respond to your calls and mails the moment you become ex-resident.
I have been a resident here for the last 5yrs., I have seen good management as well as bad.everyone complains while being a resident , and when they move out.Since the new staff came aboard especially maintenance, all I can say is that they have made improvements that should have been done years ago. Maintenance management is beyond helpful and does everything they can to see the needs of residents are met.I have tested these waters, not intentionally. I, on a Saturday knocked on the supervisors door for a issue, Leo came over immediately. He and his staff have been the best team we have had here, and as a resident I would like to say thank you. I hope all residents try and see the good this team has worked so hard to accomplish instead of when they move out slam them making them all seem rude,incompetent. My opinion is this. Before we go passing judgement we should stop and ask ourself what could I have done different to make my experience better.I rate this complex 4 stars because there is no home dwelling that is 100% perfect.Yes I would recommend the Alize.
I’ve had several problems with this apartment community. The management did resolve some issues that I had before now. So I’m not going rk mention those.However, the staff is extremely poorly trained, lack common sense, and aren’t very helpful. I called into the office to ask if I could put my credit card on file if there would be any fees.Kyle said that there wouldn’t be any charges if I set it up on reoccurring payments. Being the fact that I didn’t need to put it on my credit card, I was just looking to reap the benefits in my credit card and have it automatically set up so I didn’t have to worry about itI went ahead and checked one more time with him and he said as long as it’s not a one time thing I wouldn’t get charged the 3%. Therefore I moved forward with paying on my credit card. Sure enough there was a 3% fee.I contacted Elizabeth who is the the manager. She said that what Kyle was referring to hooking my checking account and or debit card to reoccurring payments, I wouldn’t get charged. Obviously. I informed her that Kyle was mentioning the percentages and didn’t know what was going on. I asked several times to make sure that I had clarity. The clarity that was provided to me was incorrect.She sent me an email apologizing, but provided no solution. She said if I had any questions call her. I called her, left her messages, emailed her, etc. NOTHING. Elizabeth, your poorly trained staff and process you have in place are not my problem.I simply expect the only people that I’m in contact with who are supposed to be knowledgable on the community and how things work know what’s going on. Not asking a lot.I wouldn’t recommend this community. I’ve had issues after issue. The community has a lot of potential but with the people who are employees here it’s hopeless.Runaway!!
I currently live here and would move out next week if my lease was up.Cons: Place is dirty, apartments are built poorly (lots of sound transmission, leaky windows, VERY poor insulation), and super noisy residence. I am a younger structural engineer and I am surprised this place passed city/county inspections when being built.I dont know why, but there always seems to be trash everywhere.Pros: The one positive that really stands out in my mind is the staff at the front office. They are great. I believe the owner of this property pays very well in order to obtain a higher level of employee. 3 of the 5 people in the office drive cars worth over $40k. I see them around the complex a lot in their personal cars. Very nice people.
DONT MOVE HERE. Thats as simply as I can put it. I have lived here for 2 years, and am finally moving even though I work directly next door. At first it was a really nice complex, but approximately 3 months after we moved in they changed management companies. And the new one is terrible. We noticed immediately. I cannot stress enough how much of a poor experience this place has been. In case you want more details, here they are:1. Although the maintenance people are very friendly, and courteous for the most part, the vast majority of them are incompetent.2. The manager here is very...rude, and unhelpful (please fill in the pronoun yourself).3. Everything takes 6 weeks to fix...minimum. Even small things (like the TV in the Gym), take 3 months and counting to fix. Not to mention it took 5 months for them to replace the broken and dangerous pool chairs. All of them were torn with sharp metal edges for all that time.4. The gym is a joke. Expansive Fitness Center, I believe they call it on the website...ha.5. The countertops both in the kitchen and bathroom stain at the drop of a hat. An example being, I set a glass of soda on the counter overnight, and the sweat from it stained the counter brown. Even bleach wont remove it. And they will charge you to replace them. Amazing.6. The rent is ridiculous even for Aliso Viejo. Especially considering their small sqft, and lacking amenities. There are plenty of places WITHIN A MILE that are less expensive, and offer bigger apartments with much better amenities.Even if all of that doesnt convince you that the complex, and the overall atmosphere here are bad (dont let the nice exterior fool you), then consider this: There are new office workers literally every2-3 months. Either the workers hate it here, or they only hire temps...either way, it shows with the level of incompetence they consistently service the residents with. I wish I could do negative stars. Dont say you werent warned.
I want to give a BIG thanks to Joel in maintenance who came to rescue fixing some issues in our apartment. We had a list but he finished them in a timely matter and did not complain and did an amazing job! Thanks so much for all your help and appreciate your professionalism.
People at the front office answer questions clearly, however, sometimes they need to explain a bit more. If theres a problem and you let them know, theyre very helpful. One issue, however, is that the parking spots, parking permits, and gate openers are rather limited. Aside from that, this apartment is great.
I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Management doesnt give two craps about you. All they care about is $. Thats it. Avoid this place like the plague. I wish I would have.Yeah and i did try talking to the management at least 8 times, along with my dad, my Mom, my fiance, and several police officers. The fact is that they do not care. They ignored us all.
DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! This place was Great! My wife and I lived here for 9 months. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because after we returned I told management that we loved living there, but that we just could not spend monthly what they wanted now. the manager said he wished he could help me out but because they recently converted to a computer program he was unable to negotiate anything with me. I offered to pay 6 - 12 months rent up front. but he continued to tell me that because of the system he has no power. I asked if I could speak with someone at corp. and he said it was not possible. Again I love this place, I only wish they would have kept prices lower so we could still live there. the apartments are spacious, large balconies on corner units. high ceilings, fast maintenance. great place to live but again I will not send them business if they are not willing to lower rates slightly for tenants they know are good. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!

I am especially grateful to Ashley in the office who was so kind and patient with me on Saturday (5/14) after I found out I wasnt going to get my carpets cleaned due to a mix up with my key. I appreciate Jose as well for making sure that they did get cleaned on Monday; and Luis, who came to my house early Monday morning to make a copy of the house key, and brought the key back very quickly. Also, when I submitted my request to replace the caulking in my bathroom, it was done that same day. What a pleasant surprise when I got home and it had already been done.Thank you all for your kindness and prompt responses to my requests!

I want to thank the maintenance crew - Luis, Jose, Santiago, for taking such good care of me after the kitchen fire that happened last month. 2021-06-02Alize has become my home now for 21 years. Its hard to believe how fast the time has gone by. I love this beautiful property and all that it has to offer but what makes it even more amazing, is the entire Alize Team!! As a group, they make a difference in everything they do.I came home and found this beautiful flower arrangement, a bottle of champagne and a beautiful card from the entire Alize Team, celebrating my 21 years as a resident at Alize. This meant so much to me, as they have become like family to me over the years and it really made my day and touched my heart.Thank you to the Manager Mark for going above and beyond and working hard with his team, to make sure his residents are taken care of. It makes a difference to know that I can come to him with any questions or concerns and he has always taken the time to respond and has helped in any way he can. 2020-01-20I love this place! Tara and the rest of the office staff are so attentive. Whenever I go into the office for some great Starbucks coffee or to just say hello, Tara and the rest of the team are always there greeting me warmly and smiling. They always help me feel right at home. If I ever have a service request, maintenance is awesome and they get the job done very quickly and the work is superb! The grounds are beautiful and the place really makes me feel at home. Tara is just great for she always helps me with everything from the time I walked in the front door to look at an apartment and still does help constantly while I am a resident. This place is in an awesome school district and near trails for hiking as well as wonderful shops and restaurants. The gym at the property has recently been upgraded with very nice equipment! I would recommend living here highly and if so ask for Tara for she will help you with anything and everything you need! I love Tara and Kyle and the rest of the gang and I thank them all for making me feel right at home always!

There were many multiple forms to fill out and Mikia was right there with us coaching through. Her hospitality and warm personality were just what we needed in completing our rental documents. Id like to compliment Shannon Jeffery for her professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of the situation whenever a resident needs. 2017-04-21Where should I start!! I rented here last year when moving from the Inland Empire. I was lost, frustrated, and didnt know what apartment building we should move into. I needed a safe place to live, good pricing, good schools, a gym, a maintenance staff that was friendly and competent and an office staff that was authentic. I found that all here at Alize because of my leasing consultant Shannon. Without her and her upbeat personality, competent expertise and endless patience, I dont know where we would have ended up. When my renewal came up Shannon had remembered (from the year before) that I had loved a certain floor plan but they didnt have any available at the time. I quickly made an appointment with her and off we were. She was prompt, informative and even got down on her hands and knees helping me measure the rooms to ensure my childrens beds would fit and of course look cute. She listened to my concerns and helped me figure out options that would work for the layout and my family. Just the other day (like she didnt have enough on her plate) I found out she is also the community event coordinator. Therefore, we will be seeing her on Sunday for a beautiful community brunch she has put together for all of us.

2019-12-29We looked at so many apartments after we sold our house here in Aliso. Alize gave us almost everything we were looking for in an apartment and more. The Staff at Alize are great. Tara is amazing, she has helped us many times and makes us feel at home. She goes beyond her call duties. Kyle and Susan are also wonderful and very helpful.I would definitely recommend Alize to all my family and friends.
