I was told Id have to wait 20 minutes to pay my car registration but I only waited about 5 minutes. While I was waiting, I found a book about a city Im planning to visit next year. Great service, as always.

Very well organized in the admitting customers into facility. Once in the staff is very efficient on getting things done!It is frustrating having to wait. But, due to the limited number of persons permitted inside it is frustrating for some.
Its great not having to spend most of the day like you would at DMV.I went into AAA waited 15 minutes to be called,, I paid for my tags and I had the rest of the day to myself. 😉
I went to transfer an out-of-state car title and register the car. Angelique and Paul helped me and they were amazingly helpful and so so so kind! They came across some paperwork that required more of their attention but they never got frustrated. The process took some time but it was a good opportunity for me to exercise my patience as well, and I didnt find it difficult to do with the energy of everyone being so relaxed. It was 100x better than going to the DMV!

I had the absolute best experience with this AAA branch. I came with a challenging situation due to my relocation between CA and VA and then back to CA in a matter of a year and a half and a need to re-register my vehicle back in CA. Zita Lefort did an excellent job helping me out and avoiding a trip to the DMV. She went above and beyond from what I expected. She made all necessarily calls to get my situation corrected and did everything with a welcoming and friendly demeanor. I cant say enough about what a great experience I had. Highly recommend!

This is, by far the nicest most organized AAA I have ever been to. This woman Zita was so kind and helpful. They only take cash or checks and since registration was almost due AND I had 3 old tickets, it was $425.00!DID NOT have to wait in line again.What a pleasurable experience. Zita, You ROCK!
Wait was long, they didnt page me like they said they would, and wont do any DMV transactions if there was any DMV activity on the account within last 30 days. The only good thing was you check in and then you can wait in your car, they are supposed to page you (they didnt page me).

Ive used many services offered at AAA and have been impressed by the friendliness and attentiveness of employees. However, Im not very happy with their DMV services. It used to be AAA was more convenient than going to the DMV because of shorter wait time and the person handling your inquiry was a bit more personable and on the ball. My last 2 (2019 and 2020)experiences to simply renew my cars registration was no different than going to the DMV. With the exception of wait time being fast the two employees who helped me with DMV services were inept. I will probably start going to a different branch because overall AAA is great!
I love the automobile club ..i have used 2 tows and very punctual i walk in today dec. 17, 20. 30 mins after they opened and i was the only customer in there office everyone was friendly and helpful .Highly recommend get insurance or roadside with them.they are one in a million that carried old tradition business with them
I went to Alhambra location and tried to get a registration extension for my wife. Paul told me to make an account for my wife so I did. After when I tried to pay, he told me then that I could not use my card to pay for her. She was at work and I spent so long doing this only to be told that it was a waste of time? Worst service ever.
Total joke thinking of non renewal after 33 years. Waited outside in the hot sun. No chairs. No shade. Im 80yrs old. No provisions made for three of us of the about the same age. AAA did a crummy job . No thought for their clients.
They dont even Chinese Translations for elderly People that dont Understand the English! Mom has Alzheimers since 2020 almost approximately December, 2020?Mom just repeated most her Words like most Seniors with Elderly age 65 to 90?

Got there shortly after 9am, no line for dmv services, and transferred vehicle registration in and out in 15 minutes, convenient and very courteous!
Generally, I like AAA. They are efficient, friendly, informative, and provide a wonderful service. The reason that I settled with 4 stars is because of the experience I had during the last visit. I called ahead on the number listed for Alhambra office to check if fast track transponders are available at the location. I was told its available but when I arrived, the receptionist said that they were out for couple of weeks. I had to drive to Pasadena to get one. On a side note, Alhambra office should have Google fix the driving directions as it directs the entrance from Almansor St.
Ok... Insurance is helpful but the DMV services are very difficult. You need cash or check.... Really checks that go along with the fax machine. I was told to bring $22 by the front desk to change my address. Fyi...No Atm...so need to walk and get cash back. I get $30 and wait in the DMV line... After waiting, I am told it is $36 because my car is newer? So no love and I needed to leave and come back.... Take cards or have an ATM in the office... You guys are very difficult
O took my Son Jesse Jr to get his first vac for the Covid-19 the second vac to follow.. See he works for of Walgreens North San Gabriel Store. Hes a SFL shift manager. Been with the company for going on 13 years. He was called and asked if he wanted to get the vaccine, so we went to the So. Lake/ Del Mar Walgreens. So walked in and were greeted very well. I enjoy walking in to other Walgreens stores to see their set up. Which means where things are located and the different mark downs they have. That was our stop in Pasadena CA today.

Phones are answered very unprofessional. You get hung up on and nobody even attempts to call you back. If you dont like working here find a new job.
Came here on a Saturday, of course it was busy. Checked in for DMV service and was told the wait would be 40 - 50 min. Less than 30 min. later I was being helped by an agent. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Whole transaction took about 5 min. Way better than the DMV!

We were a walk up and signed in, they told us approximately long it would be so we ran some errands and came back and once we got inside we were taken care of professionally and promptly.
Most Auto clubs are very busy and when you go to any particular office you are hoping, as you walk up, that there is not a long line waiting to be checked in, nor a plethora of people sitting in chairs waiting for their turn. This location moves very quickly. So no worries.The nicest feature that they have added is a DMV line around the back side of the center Island counter. If you have a DMV-related transaction that the auto club can conduct, you simply walk back, and there is often little to no waiting.I have never used any of the travel services or insurance products, nor have I purchased any detailed travel maps in the last 20 years. However the staff here is very nice, there is always plenty of parking and it is a large lot with a grocery store and a few small shops on the other end.When I need to do AAA transactions, this is where I always go.
Aside from the 40 minute wait to see a person to get a replacement handicap placard, the service person was fast and efficient.

Going in there is fast and customer service is great. But to get a call back travel services they are TERRIBLE!. I understand a busy workplace but at least try to call back your customers. On two trips that Ive taken Ive called to help book hotels and rent cars no one ever bothered calling Back. Thats a little frustrating when I know that they also help with travelling services.
Has some problem with vehicle title transfer and Stephanie reached out the me and directly helped me to resolve the issue in timely manner. Highly recommended for their professional service.

Had to do duplicate title because I lost my original pink slip. Had DMV form already completed. Walked in the office around 30 minutes after opening. Signed in with membership card. Waited 5 minutes. A nice lady looked over my form, asked for license and registration. She filled in some parts I had overlooked and had me sign. Charged me $20 and gave me a receipt. I was literally in and out in less than 15 minutes. Had I gone to the DMV it would have been an hour wait without an appointment and then have been given an attitude to boot. Going forward will go to AAA for whatever DMV services can assist with. Thank you.

AAA is one of the best insurance. The staff is very professional and their rates are fair prices. I had my home owners and car insurance for many years and recently returned to be insured with them agsin.Here is the bottom line you get what you pay for.Dont get fred loyal, Veronicas or Adrianas Insurance. I know someone that had an accident having Fred Loyas insurance and it was a pain dealing with them. Veronica and Adrianas Insurance well what kind I saythey a big chunk of money on the initial first payment you make. They charge brokerage fee to find you on insurance but sadly sadly to say that first payment brokerage fee is the higt price to pay. They prey on the poorWith their brokerage fee

You know if youre a member with AAA you get free notary you dont have to pay for a notary ever again if youre premium member would AAA you get a free notary and go everyday to get notarized documents now thats awesome

Alhambra Auto Club is great! They helped my husband and I make travel arrangements to South Carolina to visit Family over Thanksgiving. I think there’s no way to improve the great service of AAA except for expanding the number of towing as members are entitled. My son travels cross country a lot because his job, even though hasn’t needed I’m concerned he may need some day.
If your in need of dmv services and need it done now versus the internet..their open for all dmv services..just be prepaired to pay cash other than that service is excellant
Just went in to get a quote for my house insurance, I think the service is quick. It scared me at first seeing how many people are in there. But my process of getting a quote went pretty quickly.
Air conditioned all the staff is very friendly they want to make sure you have a nice experience there its worth it to have AAA I use it for their towing service you do not have to have their car insurance to have their towing service their towing service is second to none

The agent give a price after paid it in full. A month later yesterday told me I have to paid extra $40 for my premium. Today the supervisor name Jimmy told me $56 more. Well, who is right.
Was able to pay my registration there, but l couldnt get handicap plates for my Tacoma because its consitered a commercial vehicle(ha ha ha).

Wait for hours no one cares, see all the employee walking around and talking to each other drink coffee. Some of them just seat at thier seat looking at you and for nothing. I guess customer comes last at this AAA office. Never go back again.

2022-04-26The reciptionist was a great help! Didnt get his name but was friendly!Johnny was great as always! He helped me out last year too! Always quick and friendly.Love going to my local AAA, haha some reason I always have problems receiving my tag when the DMV sends it to me. Glad I can get it the same day at AAA, in and out in 5 mins!

2021-09-21I’ve had AAA membership for 20+ years, and I’m always generally happy with the service I receive. But the experience this time was exceptionally excellent and definitely worth a google review!I live in different city but was in Alhambra to visit relatives and take care of a few things, including some paperwork for DMV stuff, so decided to give this AAA a try. The staff that helped me was Araceli, and she’s the reason I’m writing this 5 star review. She was very friendly of course (which is a given with AAA staff), but what set her apart from others was how attentive she was. She was stationed at the handicap window so there was no chairs at the window and the counter surface was very low to accommodate wheelchairs. She noticed I was bending down a lot to fill out the form and before my back even started protesting and without me saying anything, she cleared out the adjacent and taller counter space for me to use! That might seem like a small gesture but I was really touched. She was also very patient and detail oriented. I ended up needing smog check before paperwork could be finalized, I somehow was able to get it done near by and made it back to AAA before 5 pm, and Araceli saw me and greeted me right away and helped me finish the paperwork without needing to check in again and waiting in line twice. She even remembered my name! Just outstanding customer service, and made my day that much better. Thank you, Araceli, and keep up with the great work!

2019-04-25So convenient to have this AAA branch office located in Alhambra. I got my DMV renewal done in minutes, instead of having to drive back to West Covina to get it done. Great customer service too. Also, within the parking lot area of this AAA, there are places to eat, a So Cal Gas office, and a 99 Ranch supermarket. Terrific!!!

2021-09-25I have been a AAA member for many years. AAA has not only auto towing service but insurance for car, home and life as well. They also offer DMV services too. Always fast and friendly service at all locations.

2021-11-18I dont think I have ever been in and out of this place so quick ever!Nice person greeting customers outside but the people inside werent really friendly. Seems as they are bored or just going through the motions of the job.

2021-07-29Alhambra AAA was awesome they helped when i was put in a jam by Monterey park police department getting my car towed away because of registration being expired. I didnt have to wait very long as i waited i was near by in my seat amd heard another customer getting set up for a wonderful trip to paris that was enjoyable to here next time i go into AAA it will hopefully be for a nice trip like PAris not DMV issues. Place was well set up many employees to help us customers pleasant visit recommend the yearly fee for all the services you could get with cordial respect.
